Author's Note:

Hey, hey, hey! Guess what?! I'm in New York! I am so excited! New York is simply my favorite place ever! My hotel room window is the perfect view... Of the Empire State Building! It's literally the best thing in the world. So, right now, I am sitting on the window sill, looking out the window and writing the chapter. Is anyone else like super sad that Shake It Up is over? I don't know why I am, I didn't really like it, but I'm still sad!So, if anyone reads my other story, Forever And Always, you would've noticed that dreamline5710 won the chapter challenge. Even though I already have one picked, I would like to have someone write a chapter for this story too. So, I hope you like this! Please Review! Thanks!

Chapter 10

Austin POV

I decided to call Ally. I picked up my phone and dialed her number, and on the second ring, her melodic voice fills my hearing. "Hello?" She said. I smile. "Hey, Baby." I say. I hear her laugh. "Hey, Austin." I grin. "I got your letter, and was going to write you one back, but I really wanted to hear your voice." She laughs. "That's alright. So how's it been going, Rockstar?" I smile. "Tour's tour. Same old, same old. I really miss being home. So, tell me, anything new?" There was a pause on the other side, before she gasps. "Guess what?! I was offered to teach new up-and-coming stars! I took my first class today, and I really love it!" I can hear her happiness. I grin. "That's amazing, Als. How have you been with the baby?" Ally sighs. "I am holding up alright. I am more tired than I was last time." I nod, but then remember that she can't see me. "Guess what? I only have, like, two more months, than I'll be home!" Ally groans. "I know, I know. Hey, I have to go to bed now, but I'll call you." "Okay, I love you." I smile. "I love you too."

What Ally doesn't know, is Jimmy is letting me cancel the rest of the tour and I get to come home for good in two more weeks.

Line Break...(2 Days Later..)

Ally POV

I really love my new job as a music teacher. I have a lot of really talented kids. I have my own classroom in the building attached to Warhill Records, and I come in everyday, and teach. It's a dream come true. I can teach anything I want(music related), and basically run my own school. It's amazing. I wake up this morning, get the twins ready for a day with the Grandparents, and head to the school. When I walk inside, I walk to my desk, put my purse down, and walk over to the chalk board. I pick up a piece of chalk, and write up today's agenda. Once finished, I realize that I have another hour, so I play the piano. I get so wrapped up in playing, I never noticed that my class arrived. I look up at them, all in their desks, and smile. I stand up and greet them all. "Good morning. So, as you all know, I am a famous singer, as is my husband. I have a lot of musical advice, talent, and work to give each and every one of you. But, just like every other regular school, we are going to have concerts. We are going to have competitions, we are going to record you, and you are going to achieve your dreams." The class all nod and I smile. "Let's get to work." I walk over to my desk and pick up a stack of papers and hand them all out. "Alright, if you haven't already, start filling out the sheet of paper based on what your strengths and weaknesses are." The kids all get out pens and pencils and fill out the little survey. When they're all finished, I collect them and randomly pick one. I read off the name. "Jackson Orvine?" The boy in the back row slowly raises his hand. I smile. "Come on up here." I say. The minute he stands up, I take in his looks. He's got a dirty-blonde hair color that goes to his eyes, green-blue eyes, and the perfect smile. One word to describe him: Stunning. You have a husband. You have a husband. Don't ever forget that, no matter how simply amazingly cute he may be. I shake my head and clear my thoughts. "Okay, Jackson, what's so special about you?" I ask him. He grins and shrugs. "I'm all-around. I play guitar, drums, I sing, and I dance." Point one, Jackson. I nod and grin. "Awesome. Okay, so show us some moves." He nods. "Do you have a music player or something for me to use?" I scoff. "No. Sing something just with your voice." He nods. "I'll sing the chorus of Next To You by Austin Moon." I smile.

One day when the sky is falling,
I'll be standing right next to you,
Right next to you.
Nothing will ever come between us,
I'll be standing right next to you,
Right next to you.

The class all stand up and cheer. I smirk and nod. "Okay, so... I'll admit, you have skill. Alright everyone! We all now that Orvine here is good. Your mission is to impress not only me, but him as well. You will be tested next week, so get your priorities straight, and get this in tip-top shape by then. You are dismissed." The class slowly disperses, and soon enough, my 1:30 piano lesson is in motion. She walks in the room, and I greet her. "Hey! Are you here for piano?" She nods shyly and tucks a strand of her brunette hair behind her ear. "My name's Veronica." I smile and shake her hand. "C'mon, let's go sit." She follows behind me and soon, the only sounds coming from the room is the music. About an hour later, she leaves, and I keep playing, but get interrupted by my phone ringing. I pick it up without checking the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Hey Sunshine." Austin. I smile and bite my lip. "Hey Babe." I hear him laugh. "Where are you?" I ask him. "I could ask you the same thing. What are you doing tonight?" I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "What are you talking about?" I hear his laugh again, and suddenly, it sounds closer than it should. "I miss you." He says. I nod. "I miss you too." "Can you turn around yet?" I freeze, and slowly turn around on the piano bench, and the sight I see is breathtaking. "Austin." I breath out.
