Arielle couldn't be more relieved when she bumped into Severus before dinner. She had no where to sit considering her entire house hated her and in all honesty he seemed to be the only friend she had at this school.

"It probably isn't as bad as you think?"

"Oh yeah? They have already tried to jinx my bed, luckily I put up protective charms before any of those stupid cunts could do anything." Arielle stated.

Severus rolled his eyes in response with a smirk. As much as she pretended to be graceful Arielle had a mouth that would make Lucius Malfoy blush.

"Are you sure it's okay if I sit with you?" Arielle asked reverting back to a more innocent tone.

"You do so at your own risk, but knowing them they will exploit this to their benefit instead of casting you out."

"Thanks for the encouraging words." Arielle mumbled.

"Well look what we have here…a lost cub." A snotty voice cooed. Arielle put on her best fake smile before taking a seat next to Severus. Avery, Rosier, Mulciber, Lucinda, and Wilkes...the whole lot of them, stopped talking and stared at her.

"How's quidditch going Talkalot? I heard you had a nasty fall...I hope your wit wasn't damaged any further." Arielle replied as she began to put copious amounts of food. The boys at the table snickered causing the brunette's cheeks to turn a dark shade of red.

"I think you forgot that blood-traitor's aren't allowed here Malfoy." She snapped.

"Well I guess you better leave then, considering I saw you snogging Longbottom in the hallway yesterday." Arielle replied calming taking a sip of pumpkin juice.

"You snogged who?" A shrilling voice yelled from behind Lucinda, who winced in shame. Arielle looked up into the dark brown eyes of Emma Vanity before her gaze drifted to the arm looped around her waist….Black. "Get out of my seat you filth."

Lucinda immediately moved over so Vanity and Black could sit down. Arielle glanced at Sev who flashed her a quick reassuring smile before lowering his gaze on the food.

"What are you doing here?" Emma sneered as she took an apple and began regally slicing it on her plate.

"She doesn't have any where else to go, the Gryffindor queen has be dethroned." A dark voice nearly chuckled. Arielle glanced up and locked eyes with Black, how she hated the arrogant prick.

Emma snorted. "Looks like they realized how pathetic you really are Malfoy."

Arielle stood up abruptly. "I'll just leave then."

"Shut up Emma, you can stay here Ari, it's really fine." Arielle heart skipped a beat as the familiar voice of Evan Rosier came to her defense.

Emma glared over at Regulus waiting for him to scold Evan, but he looked amused by whole the thing...much Arielle's disgust and apparently Emma's too.

Arielle sat back down and began shoveling food into her mouth so she could avoid talking. They all listened to Vanity talk on and on about how wonderful her summer was. Arielle couldn't help but laugh inside noting everyone's bored expressions.

"I'm more interested in hearing about your summer Malfoy." Mulciber interjected. "We missed you at the Manor."

Arielle ignored the insinuation in his tone. "Well what do you want to know then?"

"Where did you go?" Avery chimed in sounding genuinely curious.

"Well I went to Paris for a while, Barcelona, Rome, Florence, and probably stayed a little too long in Amsterdam then I should of…"

"Amsterdam….my father was telling me that's the city where all the spoiled wizards like to party...hard." Wilkes snorted.

"Didn't you know...Arielle can party as hard as the best of them." Evan said sending a wink at Arielle.

"Very funny Rosier." Arielle replied in amusement.

"Sex, drugs, rock n roll...sounds very muggle to me." Emma spat.

"Just because you can't keep up with the best of us, doesn't mean you have to be a prude Vanity."

Regulus let out a loud snort. "And do you think you can Malfoy?"

"Oh I know I can Black." Arielle said with a smug expression.

Regulus gave her a wicked glare before allowing a smirk to stretch across his lips.

Clearly not amused by the whole situation, Emma stood up and folded her arms across her chest. "I'm not hungry, we're leaving." She demanded staring down at the dark-haired boy.

"No you're leaving." Regulus barked. Emma's face twisted in annoyance.

"Come Lucinda were leaving, the company is tainted here." She ordered sending Arielle a hateful scowl. The brunette stood up quickly and followed Vanity out of the Dining Hall. Emma was such a stupid tart.

"Sounds like you need to toss her around bit Reg, she's gettin' cheeky." Avery said stuffing a piece of pie into his mouth.

"I know how to shut her up." He smirked

"Yeah it's called your prick in her mouth." Wilkes quipped.

Arielle felt her cheeks flare up.

"Oi! Are you blushing Arielle?" Avery pointed and laughed.

"No!" She protested only causing the nice shade of pink to deepen.

"So that's means you and Evan never…" Wilkes began with a howl.

"Oi man! Stop it." Evan interjected.

"Thought you weren't a prude Malfoy?" Regulus mocked with a smile that sent Arielle into a rage.

"I think I'll be leaving now you ill-mannered twats." She nearly yelled standing up and practically running out of the Dining Hall. She had never been more humiliated in her life. Of course she had never….her only boyfriend was Evan, and they were thirteen when they dated! Merlin's beard she could only image when they had all lost their virginity.

"Hey Ari wait up." A voice called. She ignored it and kept walking.

"Ari!" It shouted. A few seconds later a firm grip on her arm stopped her.

"What do you want Rosier?" She said glaring at Evan.

She couldn't help but soften her gaze as she noted the concern in his eyes.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" He pushed.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well sorry about the boys, they aren't use to being in good company."

"Clearly, but I don't know if I constitute prude as a good thing. " Arielle huffed.

"You're not a prude Ari, Reg was just saying that because he knew it would piss you off." Evan smiled.

"Good because I would hate to have to prove anyone wrong." Arielle winked before turning around and leaving a stunned Evan Rosier in the hall.

Arielle returned to the Gryffindor dormitories. She did not have patrol tonight, but she did in the morning so she finished her charms homework and went to bed early. Pondering the days events, she couldn't help but smile at her interaction with Evan in the hall. It was as if the whole fight between them had never happened and they were back to being their flirty selves. He even defended her at the table today. She dared herself to hope that maybe... just maybe they would get back together. The idea enthralled her as she tried desperately to suppress the memory of the astronomy tower which kept creeping its way back into her thoughts.
