Yeah... here's the next chapter. Sorry it took so long... but don't expect to much.
Chapter 10
„ Hiro-san..."
The brunette turned around and looked at... a kneeling Nowaki who had a box of two very familiar looking rings in his hands. The raven beamed up at him.
„ Hiro-san do you want to marry me?"
Hiroki looked down on the rings with a shocked expression on his face.
He never had wanted to see them again. They brought too many memories back. Memories he didn't want to remember. He had wanted to shut out the time that Nowaki had left him. Especially the time he had wanted to propose, because being left by Nowaki had felt too much like a rejection.
So when he saw those rings again now it opened his scars. Seeing them again was like a déjà-vu of that time, though this was a completelly different situation.
But nevertheless Hiroki couldn't stop himself from shaking.
He just couldn't say 'yes' when seeing those rings, because the last time he had seen them they practically shouted 'no'.
When Nowaki looked up to his lover he had thought he would see all kind of emotions. Surprise, happiness, anger even shock. But not the kind of shock he saw now.
Because this shock was a shock that came with sadness and hurt. And he didn't know why his lover looked so hurt. But he could read the answer to his question out of the others eyes.
„ Nowaki...sorry... I can't...", Hiroki stammered with a cracked voice. The brunette took a step back, trying to get far away from those rings that made him so sad.
Maybe if Nowaki had proposed with another pair of rings...then maybe he could have accepted the proposal. After a long bellowing of course, but he most likely would had accepted it.
„ Not with those...rin-" He wasn't able to finish this sentence. He didn't want to talk about this rings.
This one day had been locked up in his mind and he would hinder the memory from cominng back, but now the memory came back.
How he had sat on his bed, staring down on this little things while his mind slowly began to understand that Nowaki had left him.
The feelings of hurt, betrayal and fear. Fear to never see Nowaki again. Fear to never be loved again. Fear to never love again.
And it hurt so much. This memory hurt so much, because he just couldn't bear experiencing something like this again.
And so Hirokis voice wasn't able to speak at that moment. He wasn't able to explain to Nowaki why he couldn't accept the proposal. He only could watch Nowakis eyes to become hard and cold.
The raven stood up, staring down at his lover.
Never had he believed to be rejected. After all they've been through. After all they did. After all this love confessions.
But now he felt betrayed.
Why the hell did you buy these rings then? Weren't they supposed to be for me?
The thought that they weren't made him unbeliveable angry. And he couldn't help but to stare at his lover with his angry eyes.
Then slowly the feeling of pain invaded his heart, piercing it with hundreds of spears, trying to force him to his knees again.
Hiroki had rejected him. Whatever he had said in his love confession two month ago wasn't true.
He didn't love Nowaki.
„ Ah is that so...", Nowaki said and turned around.
He just couldn't bear to see Hirokis face now. He never had felt so hurt, not even after Hirokis post-cart.
„ I'm sorry... Kamijou-san..."
Hirokis heart became cold. Cold and hard.
He knew he had hurt Nowaki with this rejection but this...
He never...not once...not even in the beginning...called me by my surname...
The distance that was made by this name made him stumble backwards against the wall.
His heart began to beat faster, his ears started swooshing and he wasn't able to hear the rest of Nowakis sentence.
„ Huh?", he asked, not able to make another sound. He shoock his head trying to hear, to feel, any sense in what was happening at the moment.
A scene he had so often dreamed about. Dreams that left him shaken and weak. So weak that he had needed the help of others to come back to his senses.
„ I said that I don't think this will work out. I can't be with you after you rejected me like this.", Nowaki said. His voice sounded harsh and cold.
Hiroki never had heard him talk like that. He hadn't even thought it was possible for Nowaki to talk like that.
His eyes widend as they filled with tears when Nowaki started walking towards the door.
And that moment he didn't feel hurt or angry or anything like that. But after all this love confession, all the saying that they were to stay together, that they would meet each others families. After all this Nowaki was leaving him...again... And Hiroki couldn't stop it, because his heart and body hurt and were weak like that one time before... After all they've been through, after they managed to solve their problems Nowaki seemed to have no problem with going. It seemed so easy for him and Hiroki...
He just felt so betrayed.
Nowaki couldn't stop his words from coming out. He didn't want to say them. He didn't even think about breaking up, but right now his heart hurt so much that he didn't have any control over his mouth.
When he started walking towards the door he actually waited for Hiroki to keep him back. To jump after him, hold him and say that he didn't mean it. That he just was surprised.
But non of that happened and Nowaki didn't want to accept the fact that Hiroki didn't seem to care.
So he turned around once more, telling himself that it was the last time he'd do so.
But what stopped him from going that moment, wasn't a Hiroki that jumped after him, begging him to stay.
It was the look of betrayal in Hirokis eyes while they shed waterfalls of tears.
A looked that seemed to imply that he knew this would happen, but had always tried to ignore it. A look that imlied it had happened before.
Nowaki just saw this look for a moment before Hirokis eyes fluttered close and the brunette collapsed to the ground. His head hitting the floor hard.
„ HIRO-SAN!", Nowaki shouted and ran over to his lover. He bowed down, inspecting the small figure in front of him and then realizing that his lover only had collapsed.
Though he knew that it couldn't be a small thing if this strong man collapsed.
He lifted the body up carrying it towards the bedroom while he looked at the face he loved with a mixture of feelings. Am mixture of love, hurt and concern.
He saw Hirokis lips moving. So he bowed down to listen to the brunettes words.
And what shocked him that moment weren't exactly the words but the emptiness and sorrow in his lovers voice.
„ Nowa-...-ki...don't...lea-...-ve...not again... It's...da-...-rk... don't go... don't let...me ….go..."
Yeah okay...crappy chapterI hope you liked it nevertheless. But it is better then the version I had before. Because in that version Hiroki would totally break down and not come out of his mind again...I don't like that one...
As all of you seem to want the MPREG part I'll wrie it...but it will take a while before it comes.
Please review if you liked it or have something to critizise... Thanks for reading ^^
