It's really short guys I know but at least I gave you something. Be happy about that because frankly I'm still insecure about it. probably not gonna get over it either.
And sorry about grammar mistakes— this was on my phone so yeah.
Anyways. Not much of a trigger warning. A slight mention of self harm that isn't too bad.
"Wow. You look hot in red boots." Dani said before turning back to her phone.
Santana looked down at her outfit, shuffling her feet as she felt her cheeks turn as red as her uniform. Santana had changed into the bathroom leaving Dani in her room scrolling through her phone.
Dani locked her phone before standing up and walking over to Santana, offering her arm to the girl. Santana latched onto it without hesitation before grabbing the handle.
In Dani's surprise, Santana didn't turn it. Before she could open her mouth to what she could say Santana had already started talking.
"My roommates are out there and I'm pretty sure they're going to fangirl as soon as they see a glimpse of you." Santana said while shaking her head making Dani giggle.
"I'm just warning you because they are fucking crazy. I don't know why I still live with them. They didn't even—" Santana was cut off as Dani placed a kiss on her lips.
"Jeez Santana I thought I talked too much." Dani said when they split apart. Dani stared into Santana's eyes, getting lost as she saw the stories told behind them.
Their moment was quickly ended when the door was swung open scaring all four of them.
Kurt and Rachel stood in awe as they looked Dani up and down making Dani blush.
"What do you want Yentl?" Santana asked with a quirked eyebrow.
"Umm we were just gonna.. GO! Right go. Okay. We're just gonna go." Rachel said, dragging Kurt as she finished.
They were halfway out of the door when Kurt yelled "You've got fifteen minutes until you have to be there Santana! Don't be late. Gunther is gonna be pissed." before the door slammed shut leaving the girls alone once again.
"Well your roommates seem nice." Dani said, breaking the silence.
Santana laughed before kissing her cheek. "Let's get a move on."
Dani was dragged into the kitchen where she grabbed her purse and shoes before they both left the apartment.
"My car is outside but we have to get through the crowd first." Dani said as they walked down the stairs.
Santana pulled on the sleeves of her uniform as she looked down at the stairs.
As they hit the last stair Dani grabbed Santana and pushed her against the wall covering her body with hers. Everyone outside got louder as the flashes got more intense inside the building.
"I won't let anyone hurt you okay. I'm going to protect you." Dani said, pushing on Santana's chin to make her look at her.
Dani kissed Santana. Hard. Santana was overwhelmed by the amount of emotion put into one kiss she didn't realize tears were running down her face. As the need for air got greater Santana reluctantly pulled away before putting her head on Dani's shoulder.
"Thank you." she whispered against the girl's shoulder.
Santana realized it wasn't just about the crowd out there. It was about everything. Dani was going to help her.
"Come on. Let's get you to work." Dani said pulling the girl away from the wall. Santana nuzzled her head into her neck and Dani welcomed it with wrapping her arms around the girl's torso. Max opened the door for them and were immediately met with screaming fans and paparazzi surrounding them. Max pushed a path through the crowd and soon both of them were in the car on their way to the diner.
