Author's Note: Thank you to everyone following and faving my story! I know, I've been going through periods of updating and not updating, but I only like to write when inspiration hits! Anyways, speaking of inspiration, one reason I've been getting back into writing this fic in particular is because of all of the possible situations I can throw the characters into. I know the show the fic is based on ended over like a thousand years ago, but trust, I'm not trying to copy the same story lines. Mostly because it would be too exhausting, with the 8-9 seasons they have Uber their bell and ain't Lily got time for that. Anyways where was I headed with this? Oh yeah!
IF YOU HAVE OCS, I WANT THEM! That's right! Your OC will have a chance to star in this fic! JUST HEAD TO THE FIRST CHAPTER, FILL OUT THE TEMPLATE AT THE END AND PM THEM TO ME! DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE COMMENTS! PM ONLY! And keep in mind that since this is kind of set in the real world, lets keep the OCs human and void of magic powers or unnatural abilities ;)
Full Moon
"Boys? What are you doing here? It's kinda late," Mimi opened the door.
"Oh, hey Mimi! We were just in the neighborhood!" Izzy said.
"I see... flowers and chocolates. For who?" Mimi narrowed her eyes.
"They're for-ugh!" Joe whimpered.
"These are for Sora!" Izzy elbowed Joe in the gut. "We figured that she's probably a bit upset from the incident at the bar with Matt so..."
"Aww, that's so sweet! You guys are so thoughtful!" Mimi hugged Izzy.
"We tried?" Izzy turned red.
"Hey Joe, are you okay?" Mimi raised an eyebrow.
"Fine. It just kinda feels like I got hit in the gut by a truck," Joe shot Izzy a dirty look.
"Sorry," Izzy mouthed to Joe.
"Sora! Look what the boys brought over for you! Aren't they so sweet?" Mimi squealed.
"Oh, you guys didn't have to! Thank you!" Sora hugged Izzy and Joe.
"We hope you feel better," Izzy turned red.
"This helps," Sora smiled. "Come, sit!"
"So Joe...how was your date with that weird girl?" Mimi asked.
"Mimi!" Sora gasped.
"What? She was weird, wasn't she?" Mimi shrugged.
"And for that, I apologize. I probably should pre-screen them first before I introduce them to friends. I just thought she was cute and Joe could-" Izzy was interrupted.
"You know, she kinda looked like Mimi," Sora noted.
"So you think I'm cute, don't cha?" Mimi winked.
"Not what I meant...," Izzy turned red.
"Sorry, but Pino has my heart right now. Maybe in another lifetime though," Mimi wrapped her arms around Izzy's shoulders and kissed him on the cheek.
"Not what I meant," Izzy groaned.
"I know. I just think it's so funny how you're always so serious," Mimi lightly slapped him on the shoulder and then went back to sit next to Sora.
"So, as I was saying... I thought she would be cute for Joe. But I didn't think she was going to be crazy. So I'm sorry for that. And I don't plan on playing Matchmaker for anyone, except maybe for Matt because with my skills, he'll get what he deserves," Izzy said.
"Harsh," Sora smirked. "How bad was the date?"
"She wanted to go to Burger King," Joe heaved.
"Ew, she has cheap taste," Mimi grimaced.
"If that weren't bad enough, she was arguing with the employees about what was on the menu...and then she did the same thing when she dragged us to a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop insert at a Sunoco gas station for 'dessert'," Joe cringed.
"Ew, seriously?" Sora made a face.
"Yeah. We took two trains and a bus to get to some disgusting gas station in Queens because she claims they had the best donuts around. Great, but the place smelled like piss and there were flies stuck to the glaze. And of course, along the way, she picked fights with people along the train and argued with the busdriver as well," Joe groaned.
"If you ask me, she sounds like an undercover trucker. They're the only people I know who would be okay with eating gas station donuts like that," Sora frowned.
"She's in one of my classes, but who knows. Maybe she moonlights as a trucker when she's done with school," Izzy made a face.
"Well, I hope you have fun with that. You'll learn lots of new things! Maybe like where's the dirtiest public bathroom to have sex in too!" Mimi grinned.
"No! No! Because it's over! Izzy, you started it, so now you have to end it!" Joe shook his head.
"What? Can't you be an adult and break it off yourself?" Izzy gasped.
"He's right. I've never been so disappointed in you, Joe...," Sora said.
"She scares me...," Joe whispered.
"Yeah, she is kinda scary. And now that I know she eats trucker food...yuck," Mimi stuck her tongue out.
"I'm sorry Izzy, but why did you think she would be a good match for Joe?" Sora raised an eyebrow.
"Okay, I messed up! I just saw a girl who I thought might be his type, without really getting to know her, and I goofed up!" Izzy blurted out.
"You have a type?" Mimi leaned in towards Joe.
"Izzy!" Joe turned red.
"He...he likes the free-spirited, hippie type of girls!" Izzy improvised. "I guess only to a certain extent though!"
"Oh, for a second I thought you were gonna say girls who look like me! Which sorry, you're out of luck! I'm one of a kind and can't be replicated!" Mimi grinned.
"You know, the world doesn't revolve around you," Izzy crossed his arms.
"But you can't deny that the two of them look almost similar. Chloe just seems to be...a couple pieces short of a game board, to put it nicely," Sora shrugged.
"It's okay, I'll just tell her you died or something. There's like 6 million people in the city, I highly doubt you guys will cross paths again," Izzy said.
"I don't really know if that'll work," Mimi bit her lip.
"Did you guys exchange numbers?" Sora asked.
"No. Thank God!" Joe said.
"Then she's probably not interested in a second date anyways. Maybe best not to get yourself worked up until the situation arises," Izzy said.
"He's right. Anyways, I'm getting tired. Thank you for the lovely surprise, boys! I really love it!" Sora hugged Izzy and Joe.
"Alright, have a good night," Izzy said.
"Bye," Joe waved.
"See ya!" Mimi yawned.
"What was that for?" Joe frantically slapped Izzy on the arm.
"I was trying to save you from yourself! Did you see that out there?" Izzy whispered.
"Yeah, she kissed you when she should have kissed me!" Joe slapped Izzy again.
"You idiot, you're missing the point! And stop hitting me!" Izzy swatted Joe away. "Leave her alone. You heard what she said. She said her heart belongs to Pino right now, or something like that. And this was just banter. Imagine if you showed up at the door by yourself with those flowers- do you really want to put a strain on the relationship you do have with Mimi?" Izzy put his hands on his hips.
"I guess not...," Joe looked down on the ground.
"I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that. It's not fair to her or to you. If you really do love her, you'll let her be happy, even if that person isn't you at the moment," Izzy put his hand on Joe's shoulder.
"So you think there's hope?" Joe asked.
"Crap...," Izzy groaned to himself. "Are you listening to anything I'm saying? Leave the girl alone! She'll know what she wants eventually."
"And it'll be me, right?" Joe asked.
"Oh my God, I swear I'm talking to Taylor Swift or something. I'm going home. Don't be stupid," Izzy shook his head and left.
"If you can see I'm the one who understands you, been here all along so why can't you see, you belong with me, you belong with me...," Joe sung to himself.
"Okay, was that weird or was that weird?" Sora asked.
"What? I thought that was nice!" Mimi said.
"I mean it was...but I feel like something more at play is going on here," Sora frowned.
"Oooh, like what?" Mimi leaned over the couch.
"I'm not sure...but it's suspicious," Sora said.
"Maybe one of them likes you," Mimi grinned.
"What?" Sora gasped.
"Yeah, I mean why else would they come here so late at night with flowers and chocolate to cheer you up? One of them is crushing on you hard," Mimi popped a cherry cordial in her mouth.
"Oh my God...you might be right. But who?" Sora gasped.
"I got my money on Joe," Mimi licked her fingers.
"Why Joe?" Sora asked.
"Honey, he was awkward the whole night! He probably felt guilty for going out with that girl that Izzy set him up with because he has eyes for you and only you," Mimi teased.
"Speaking of which, notice how Izzy set him up with a girl that looks like YOU?" Sora playfully hit her with a decorative pillow.
"What are you getting at?" Mimi raised an eyebrow.
"Remember how Izzy said that he picked Chloe out because he thought she was cute? And you and Chloe look alike? So maybe that means he thinks you're cute," Sora smirked.
"As if! No way," Mimi stuck her tongue out. "Besides, he said cute for Joe..."
"So you're saying that Izzy set Joe up with Chloe because Joe's attracted to girls who look like you? That doesn't make any sense. If you ask me, I think Izzy's probably subconsciously attracted to you," Sora smirked.
"What? No! We're just friends!" Mimi gasped.
"Are you sure? You gave him a nice little peck on the cheek earlier. Why didn't you do that with Joe?" Sora smirked.
"Cause it's Joe! He's like a big brother to me! Also, I think it's funny how Izzy reacts when I goof around like that. He gets so squirmy, it's adorable! I'd be scared Matt might molest me, TK's too nice about it, he's like 'oh, your hand is right on my junk...okay?', and Tai is totes off-limits because I still think that you guys are meant to be from the bottom of my heart and it's like girl-code not to go after your gal pal's man," Mimi grinned.
"Oh my God," Sora sighed. "Well, thank you for that, I guess..."
"You're welcome! But yeah...if you don't want to go any further with him, I think you might have to let poor Joey down gently," Mimi pouted.
"I dunno...what if it's just two guys just innocently trying to cheer me up?" Sora asked.
"Then why is the box of chocolate heart-shaped?" Mimi held up the box.
"Maybe you're really just grasping at straws?" Sora shrugged.
"Fine. But keep your guard up," Mimi yawned.
"I suggest you do the same, Mrs. Koushirou Izumi!" Sora smirked.
"Shut up, not gonna happen! It's Mrs. Pino Conigliaro to you!" Mimi stuck her nose in the air.
"You should have seen how sweet these boys were with Sora last night! I have to admit I'm a bit jealous, I wish you guys could be this sweet with me," Mimi gushed.
"Sleep with Matt, then maybe I'll show up to your place with a parade of stuffed animals and balloons to show you how bad I feel for you too," Tai smirked.
"Shut up," Matt smacked him.
"Seriously, I think the rest of you could take a lesson from these boys," Mimi said. "They're sweethearts!"
"Noted," TK tapped his finger on his head.
"Great, we're being scolded by girls who are not our girlfriends to act more boyfriend material," Matt rolled his eyes.
"Hey, while we're on the topic of boyfriend/girlfriend stuff, isn't that Chloe there?" TK pointed at a girl with long, brown hair.
"Oh no...Izzy? Did you tell her I died?" Joe tensed up.
"Sorry, I forgot," Izzy turned red.
"HOW DO YOU FORGET?!" Joe screamed.
"Maybe because you're not dead?!" Izzy yelled back.
"Oh, there you guys are!" Chloe skipped over to the booth.
"Hey!" everyone forced a grin.
"What's going on?" TK asked.
"Isn't it such a beautiful day out?" Chloe gushed. "Anyways, I was just wondering what my favorite people are up to!"
"Favorite people? You mean...us?" Izzy raised an eyebrow.
"Well, not necessarily you, Izzy. I just meant Mimi! Come with me!" Chloe grabbed her hand.
"Wait! You don't want to see me?" Joe asked.
"No offense, but you're a bit too stiff for me," Chloe said. "Anyways, me and my new best friend have a lot of catching up to do! Come on, girl!"
"But I have plan-"
"Cancel! It's our night now!" Chloe yelled.
"Okay...," Mimi whimpered.
"I'm so excited!" Chloe squealed and grabbed Mimi by the wrist.
"Help me," Mimi silently mouthed to everyone.
"On the bright side, you have nothing to worry about anymore Joe," Tai patted Joe on the back.
"You think we should go follow them to make sure Mimi's okay?" Sora said.
"What? You guys didn't follow me!" Joe gasped.
"Cause it was a date...we wanted to give you privacy, duh!" Matt huffed.
"Wait, since when did you guys care about privacy?" Joe asked.
"Guys, not the point! We're losing them!" Izzy yelled.
"I just want to make a quick stop at my place to get changed! I need to feel refreshed, you know what I'm saying?" Chloe skipped away.
"What a great idea! I should go too!" Mimi said.
"Well, this is my place! How far are you?" Chloe eagerly asked.
"This is your place?" Mimi raised an eyebrow.
"Yep! Moved in about a week ago! Adorable, right?" Chloe grinned.
"Unbelievable, she's only a block away from me...," Mimi muttered to herself.
"Welcome to my humble abode! You like?" Chloe opened the door to her apartment.
"Oh my God!" Mimi gasped.
"Okay, is it me, or am I watching a real-life version of Single White Female?" Matt remarked.
"Nope, you're not the only one. Everything looks exactly the same as Mimi's old apartment, before she moved in with Sora," Izzy grimaced.
"How is that even possible? Mimi took everything with her. And she lived in Manhattan...this is creeping me out," Sora made a face.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling this Chloe chick is more dangerous than we thought," Tai sucked his teeth.
"Oh, maybe you should run a criminal background check on her!" TK said.
"That's a good idea!" Sora gasped.
"But how are we gonna do that? We don't know anything about her. Who knows if Chloe is even her real name?" Joe gulped.
"See if we can break into her apartment!" Matt said.
"Or let's go into groups! Half of us search through her apartment and the other half shadow the girls," Izzy said.
"Oh yeah, that's smart...," Tai said.
"So who's going into the apartment?" Sora said.
"Obviously someone with computer skills. And then someone who's nosy and quick as hell to pick up as many clues as possible," TK said.
"So that leaves Izzy and...how about Matt? You always seem to be so good at sneaking out at one-night stands!" Tai smirked.
"That works. Everyone else, you follow the girls, and if possible distract them until we give you a signal," Izzy nodded.
"Oooh, I love it. We're like totally spies," Matt shook his shoulders.
"Don't do that again," Tai smirked.
"Yeah, I'll wait out here!" Mimi hollered and stood out the hallway.
*buzzbuzzbuzz*
"Hello?" Mimi answered her phone.
"Joe, what are you doing?" Sora slapped him on the arm.
"Hey, it's us. Just wanted to let you know we're nearby," Joe whispered.
"Oh thank God! I'm freaking out a little... I don't want to say much but I'll tell you later. I'm so paranoid," Mimi said into her phone.
"Hey, if there's any way, can you possibly leave the apartment open so we can sneak in?" Matt snatched the phone from Joe.
"Why-"
"Just do it," Matt interrupted.
"Okay. I gotta go now," Mimi said.
"Hey! I'm finally ready!" Chloe closed the door.
"Wait! I think I left my phone inside!" Mimi cringed.
"But you-"
"I think I left my phone inside," Mimi said more firmly.
"Well, okay...here you go," Chloe opened the door.
"What do you know? I had it all along! Don't worry! I got the lock for you! Now let's go!" Mimi ushered Chloe away and the girls went down the stairs.
"That was a close one," Tai whistled.
"Alright, time to make a move. Come on," Izzy opened the door to the apartment.
"We'll see you later," Sora saluted him.
"I know this great place in Jamaica that has the best doughnuts in the world! I took Joe there, but I'm not sure he liked it. He probably didn't like it, but I don't see him as a sweets kind of guy anyways! But you-"
"I'm not sure if I'm in the mood for doughnuts! How about we go to Little Italy? They have a lot of great desserts! And just food in general?" Mimi suggested.
"Ugh! No way! I don't do that hipster garbage! SAY NO TO GENTRIFICATION! SAY NO TO GENTRIFICATION!" Chloe yelled.
"Oh my God, this is so embarrassing...," Mimi turned red.
"I know you're kinda upset that I don't want your hipster food, but I know this place that makes the greatest hoagies ever!" Chloe playfully slapped Mimi on the arm.
"What the hell is a hoagie?" Mimi made a face.
"Who said the h-word?!" a guy in a business suit yelled.
"She did? I never heard it before!" Mimi shrugged.
"That's right! I said it! HO-GHEE! HOAGIE! HOAGIE! HOAGIE!" Chloe stood on her tiptoes and yelled at the guy's face.
"What's going on here?" Mimi bit her lip.
"You better step away from this girl, she's nothing but trouble!" the man yelled. "When you're here, it's called a hero! Not a grinder, not a spuckie, and not a freaking HOAGIE!"
"Oh, are you talking about subs?" Mimi asked.
"I've got mixed feelings about that one!" the man wagged his fingers. "but word of advice, lose your friend! A true friend does not throw that Philly trash in here!"
"Okay, thanks...?" Mimi raised an eyebrow. "Chloe, you might want to tone it down a bit?"
"What? You want to censor my speech?" Chloe snapped. "I just wanted a damn sandwich and the whole city stops when I call it by a different name! What? This place is full of BABIES!"
"Chloe...," Mimi groaned. "Let's just go! You definitely sound like you need something to eat!"
"So, you and Joe stopped by the girls' last night, huh?" Matt sifted through Chloe's drawers.
"It was Joe's idea," Izzy said.
"Oh. Well, that was nice of you," Matt shrugged.
"Matt, you know you're always free to do something nice for Sora too," Izzy put a piece of tape over Chloe's laptop camera and turned the computer on.
"Yeah, I know. But now it's going to feel so forced now that you guys beat me to the punch," Matt shrugged.
"I don't know... maybe if you were a decent person from the beginning, she wouldn't think you had an ulterior motive?" Izzy shrugged.
"Okay, I've had enough of this!" Matt slammed his hands on top of Chloe's dresser. "I'm tired of being treated like the 'bad guy' in all of this! She's not blameless, just so you know!"
"Whoa, this isn't about you guys right now! Remember, we're supposed to be digging up whatever we can on Chloe," Izzy said.
"You might not understand, but do you know how hard it to see your girlfriend be in love with someone else?" Matt sat down on Chloe's bed.
"Oh?" Izzy looked up from his computer.
"I'm the boyfriend! I'm the first person she should have been running to for anything! But nope! She didn't want me to help her or fix anything. Everything was always 'I'm fine, I'm fine!' and next thing I know, I see Tai fixing her flat tire! Or he's bringing her soup because she's sick- which she never told me she was! Trust me, I wanted to be by her side, but she didn't let me! Do you see how frustrating it was? I couldn't do it anymore! How I saw it, she just didn't want me or see me as someone to depend on- do you know how hurtful that is?" Matt yelled.
"I'm sorry," Izzy said.
"I didn't mean to get all...feely like that. It's just getting too much now. I know I'm not exactly Mother Theresa, but what am I supposed to do? I'm trying to move on," Matt bit at his knuckles.
"Maybe trying to sleep with numerous women isn't the best idea?" Izzy raised an eyebrow.
"Silly, silly Izzy. Sometimes you're so naive," Matt ruffled Izzy's hair.
"I'm just saying, if you don't want to come off as repulsive to everyone, maybe you should take a break from the dating scene. Maybe that's just what you need. Focus on other things in your life. Your job, friends, pick up a new hobby," Izzy shrugged.
"Dude, did you just eat a self-help book or something? I swear, for someone who acts like a robot, you got some real people advice going on. I'm genuinely shocked," Matt rubbed his chin.
"I don't know how I'm supposed to take that comment...so how are we with gathering Chloe's information?" Izzy asked.
"Oh crap! Well, I've looked through her clothes and it seems like she likes to go commando," Matt smirked.
"Matt!" Izzy gritted his teeth.
"Okay, maybe I should have checked under her bed first," Matt said.
"I think this place makes the best HOAGIES around!" Chloe skipped.
"Nononono, we can't go here...," Mimi shook her head.
"Why not? We came all the way here, so this is where we're eating!" Chloe stomped her foot.
"No! You can eat here, but I can't! I won't!" Mimi said.
"Oh, don't be such a baby! Uppsie Daisy!" Chloe picked Mimi up and hoisted her on her shoulder.
"Put me down!" Mimi kicked and bucked.
"Uh guys...you think we should intervene now?" TK asked.
"Not yet," Tai narrowed his eyes. "Let's just stick close."
"Hi, welcome to the Sub Station, where we have 352 different sandwich combinations to choose from! How can I- oh... Mimi? Is that you?" a thin, teenage boy with dark hair leaned against the counter.
"Hi Justin...," Mimi turned red.
"Ohh, is this why you didn't want to come? You have a crush on him and you didn't me to embarrass you?" Chloe grabbed a bottle of mustard and squirted it in her mouth. "Hah, it's Dijon!"
"I have a boyfriend," Mimi turned red.
"No, no, that's okay...so, besides that, what else is new?" the boy, Justin, asked.
"I moved to Brooklyn with my friend, and I met Amadeus Stone at a party. I might be taking his culinary courses soon," Mimi said.
"Wow, that's great!" Justin exclaimed.
"So, what's new with you?" Mimi asked.
"Well, I was accepted to the Chemistry program at NYU, so that's what I'm doing for now-"
"Wait, so you're at NYU?" Chloe interrupted.
"Yeah," Justin nodded.
"Oh, you hear that Mimi? That means he's gotta be legal! You can hit that!" Chloe elbowed her.
"Ew, please. Kiki's like a dinosaur. Like what are you, 25? And why are you here anyways?" a tiny girl with long, dark hair cackled.
"Alex, go back to that cave you just crawled out of, you troll!" Justin shooed the girl away.
"I'm telling Dad that fake waitress is here and distracting you from your job!" the girl yelled.
"And that's why I didn't want to come here," Mimi said through gritted teeth.
"I'm sorry about that. I don't think there's any fixing her," Justin turned red.
"Oh, look! It's fake waitress!" an overweight, balding man walked over to Mimi. "Too bad the wages couldn't be fake, right?"
"Hi, Mr. Russo...," Mimi forced a smile.
"Theresa, check it! Fake waitress is here!" the man said.
"Which one?"
"You know, the one Justin had a crush on?"
"I did no-" Justin turned red.
"Look, it's mutual!" Chloe said with glee.
"Nooo...," Mimi eyes widened.
"Oh I'm coming!" a petite, curvy Hispanic woman sashayed over to everyone. "Oh Mimi! It's so nice to see you! No one else could fit Harper's costumes for Alex as perfectly! Well, besides Alex, but she won't wear them! Such a shame you couldn't work here anymore!" the woman pinched Mimi's cheeks.
"Yeah. I moved to Brooklyn, so it's a bit of a trek," Mimi shrugged.
"Oh honey! It's nice of you to stop by! I won't hold you up now! Have a good day!" the woman hugged Mimi.
"Thank you, Mrs. Russo," Mimi said.
"Let me make you a sandwich. What would you like?" Justin asked.
"I'll have a meatball hoagie!" Chloe smiled.
"I'm sorry...we don't have that?" Justin shook his head.
"But you have meatballs literally right there!" Chloe said.
"Oh, you wanted a hero? I'll get that right out! $8.25," Justin said.
"Here," Chloe threw several dollar bills at him.
"Thanks...," Justin raised an eyebrow. "How about you, Mimi?"
"I'll take an Italian, please?" Mimi shrugged.
"Sure. It's on the house," Justin said.
"Aww, thanks!" Mimi gushed.
"DAAAAD! JUSTIN'S GIVING AWAY FREE FOOD!"
"Alex! Mind your own business!" Justin hissed.
"Justin? What is this I'm hearing about free food? We are not a charity case here!" Mr. Russo trudged over to the register.
"It's just Alex causing trouble! Shouldn't she be focusing on doing her chores?" Justin crossed his arms.
"She is! Look, she's sweeping the floor! You kids...," Mr. Russo pointed at the window and walked away.
"Aww, isn't that so sweet! He gave you a free hoagie! The least you could do is give him a kiss!" Chloe grinned.
"That's not necessary!" Justin turned red.
"Uhh...," Mimi bit her lip.
"Come on! Even a peck on the cheek! Something!" Chloe squealed.
"Thank you, Justin. You're a very sweet boy," Mimi leaned in to kiss him on the cheek.
"Hah hah, I got you where I wanted you now!" Chloe pressed Mimi and Justin's heads together.
"Oh my God, I did not mean to do that!" Mimi turned red.
"No, that's okay," Justin nodded.
"Come on, you guys liked it though, right? I think I'd make a good matchmaker!" Chloe grinned.
"I wish the other guys were here to see this... I can't believe she kissed a teenager," Tai held back his laughter.
"But technically, the kid's a college freshman now, so he's barely a teenager now. And didn't Chloe force that to happen?" TK asked.
"Doesn't matter. The kid kinda looks happy now," Tai chuckled.
"We should probably text to see if the guys have made any progress," Sora rolled her eyes.
"They're texting us already, so I guess we have to really work quickly...," Matt huffed.
"I'm trying to but it's hard to. Like I suspected, her name doesn't pop up in any of the databases," Izzy rubbed his eyes.
"Hey, what's this?" Matt pulled out a burgundy booklet. "Europeiska Unionen? These Ikea manuals are getting fancier and fancier by the minute!"
"Gimme that!" Izzy snatched the booklet from Matt's hand.
"What was that for?" Matt gasped.
"That's a passport! See?" Izzy held it up.
"Ahh...Astrid Huang. I think it's fair to say there's only a couple of those in the world," Matt raised an eyebrow.
"Oh...oh...yikes. That's not good," Izzy bit his lip.
"Murder and identity theft," Matt looked over Izzy's shoulders.
"She messed with the wrong person this time," Izzy pulled out his phone.
"What are you doing?" Matt gasped.
"We have to put a stop to this before more people get hurt," Izzy said. "Hello? I have information on one of the people on your list..."
"Are you sure you don't wanna go to my favorite doughnut shop? It's so good!" Chloe whined.
"You know, it's been a long day. How about another time?" Mimi sighed.
"Okay, deal! How about we just head back to my place for a bit? I have this Skinny Bitch margarita mix and I honestly don't know what it would taste good with!" Chloe said.
"I don't really drink much," Mimi shook her head.
"But you're at the bar with your friends every day, aren't you?" Chloe asked.
"But I always drink soda," Mimi said.
"Aww, now I feel like you're brushing me off! You're not brushing me off, are you?" Chloe put her hands on her hips.
"Oh, of course not! I just don't drink alcohol! Now soda, do you have that?" Mimi nervously asked.
"I have ginger ale!" Chloe said.
"Okay. One glass, and then I have to head out. I have an early day ahead of me!" Mimi nervously laughed.
"Alri-why is my door unlocked? Didn't you say you locked my door?" Chloe shot Mimi a dirty look.
"Yeah, and you double checked. Remember?" Mimi nervously shrugged.
"Huh...," Chloe raised an eyebrow and went inside.
"Department of Homeland Security! We're here to take Astrid Huang into custody!" a burly man in padded armor blocked the doorway.
"Who?" Mimi asked.
"She's taken on numerous aliases. Elsa Snow, Ariel Waters, Pinkette Jaden-Smith, and her most recent one, Chloe Moon... she's a dangerous one," the man said.
"Ow, she bit me!" another man yelled.
"Hold yourself together!" the first man said.
"How could you sell me out like this?!" Chloe screamed.
"I didn't kno- hey, why am I apologizing? You're a criminal! You could have killed me and I wouldn't have even known!" Mimi gasped.
"And what are you guys doing in my apartment? You perverts! I bet you were trying to dig through my underwear drawer!" Chloe said.
"So disappointed...you didn't have anything. But you did have this," Matt shook the passport.
"It was you...," Chloe leaned in close to Izzy.
"Hey, watch it!" a burly man put her hands behind her back.
"Izumi, I hate your smug little know-it-all attitude, and you know what's so funny? You have absolutely no right to be that way! Argh!" Chloe bit at Izzy's hoodie and a piece of fabric tore off from the front. "That's right. He's a University of Scranton student! He wasn't good enough for NYU."
"Take her away!" Izzy turned red.
"We're gonna need backup," the burly man spoke into a walkie-talkie.
"Why don't we get out of here?" Matt asked.
"Just give me a second," Izzy wriggled out of his hoodie and tossed it to the side.
"Izzy, it's chilly out," Mimi said.
"I'll be fine...guys, just don't mention that to anyone," Izzy looked down at the floor.
"But how are you a University of Scranton student if you live here?" Matt asked.
"Online courses...and I teach them too...," Izzy sighed.
"Oh," Mimi paused. "Hey, isn't Scranton where The Office is? Isn't that cool?!"
"We live in New York, which is a thousand- no, a million times more cooler than The Office. You're an odd one, I swear," Matt laughed.
"Mimi! We're so happy you're safe!" Sora ran up and hugged her.
"Yeah! We would have come to your rescue, but we saw a bunch of big dudes with guns, so we figured it's probably better if we didn't get in their way...," TK trailed off.
"Oh, and you guys missed it! Mimi made out with a teenager!" Tai laughed.
"What?!" Matt and Izzy gasped.
"No! It was more like Chloe dragged me into my old job and forced me to kiss the shop owner's son- who I might add is a college freshman so he's legal, and it was supposed to only be a kiss on the cheek but she mushed our heads together! So yeah!" Mimi turned red.
"Mimi likes the younger ones, meow!" Matt laughed.
"In a way, that is true... isn't Pino TK's age?" Sora asked.
"Oooh, we have to tell him that Mimi already cheated on him!" Tai laughed.
"Oh my God, stop! I didn't mean to!" Mimi whined.
"That's what they all say," TK mockingly said.
"Come on, let's get out of here," Sora nudged everyone out of the building.
"Hey, you okay?" Matt asked Izzy.
"I'm a bit shaken, but maybe things will get better. No one cares where the piece of paper comes from, right? I don't know...," Izzy sighed.
"Everything will work its way," Matt put his arms on Izzy's shoulders. "Let's just go home."
