We Are Going With Her Right?

It was a week before Bella showed up at school again. She didn't say anything to anyone as she entered her first class just before the bell rang, sitting calmly in the seat beside Emmett as if she had never been missing.

"I do hope you're feeling better Ms. Swan," the teacher said sending a warm smile at the girl.

Bella didn't give any indication that she had heard what the teacher had said, glaring daggers at the desk in front of her. There was an awkward silence where the teacher waited for a response before clearing his throat and starting the lesson for the day. It wasn't until halfway through the lesson that Bella finally looked away from her desk, rolling her eyes at Emmett's look of concern and muttering that she was fine.

The next few classes went in much the same manner, with Bella ignoring the well wishes from her teachers. The only difference was that Emmett no longer needed any reassurance. It became exceedingly clear to him that there was nothing wrong other than the fact that the small girl was pissed off at Alice and had taken the week to calm down enough not rip the other girl to shreds in front of the entire town.

When they walked out of their last class before lunch Jasper immediately attached himself to Bella's side without a word. They walked into the cafeteria in silence, all eyes trained on Bella as if waiting for her to give some sort of announcement as to where she had been, but no such thing happened.

Instead Bella and Jasper tucked themselves into the furthest corner of the cafeteria, Bella curling herself onto Jaspers lap with her lips pressed up next to his ear the two of them whispering low enough that not even the rest of the Cullen's could hear them.

The two of them stayed wrapped around each other for the entire period, with the entire school just staring at them. Everybody's curiosity was burning, wondering what exactly they were talking about.

When the warning bell rang Bella stood from Jaspers lap as he took her hand and walked her to her next class. They didn't say anything more, he simply pressed a kiss to her cheek and continued on to his own class.

"When did you and Jasper get so close? Last I knew the two of you barely knew each other." Emmett said calmly as he slid into his seat beside Bella.

Bella's eyes darted around to make sure nobody was attempting to listen in on them before she spoke, her voice barely loud enough for the other vampire to hear. "We were discussing strategy; I have been summoned to Volterra."

Emmett inhaled sharply at the news his eyes widening minutely. "When?"

"I am to report just after Graduation to avoid alerting anyone that anything strange is going on. However I have no intention of joining their guard and thus must prepare myself accordingly so we are not left without our leaders."

"How are you possibly going to get away without being killed? They don't let anyone refuse them if they really truly want them."

"I'm not sure yet. I'm not so worried about making it out alive as I am about not destroying the Volturi and upsetting our entire justice system." Bella said quietly, pulling her bag onto her shoulders as the bell rang, the two of them moving together to meet Jasper who was already waiting outside of their class.

"How did they even find out about you?" Emmett asked quietly as they came to a stop outside of the locker rooms.

"I would be willing to bet that Alice turned me in and she most likely told them that I was a part of the vampire wars." Bella growled as she pressed a kiss to Jaspers cheek before going into the girls locker room.

"We are going with her right?" Emmett asked turning to look at his brother who simply nodded before walking off to his last class of the day, leaving his brother to do the same.

I know it's ridiculously short but please don't hate me! I have little to no time to write any more the last few months have been completely insane between work and school but I swear I'm not giving up on any of my stories I just write them as they come to me.
