Hey everyone, GDW here. So this chapter starts the final count down until our story is complete. For those of you who wrote Reviews/Favorited/Followed The Forgotten Chapter of Fairytail: Fairy Tail's Other Side Of History Heaven Blade Sanction, I deeply thank you. You gave me the confidence to continue. So I would like to dedicate this chapter to them.
"So here's the gameplan," Ronan told everyone in the strategy room. He was using Hibiki's Archive magic to show a holographic map of the world of Albion inside of everyone's mind, "When we take the teleportal we will plan to land right around Dewmire Palace, where we will be required to change out clothing in order to blend in with the culture. After a while, we will split up into five different groups."
The five teams plus the members of Lamia scale and Blue Pegasus said their goodbyes with the promise to see each other again before the battle. The members of Team Shadow Gear and the members of Team Oro plus the members of Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus headed north to cross the bridge of the Forbidden Waters.
"Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus, your job will be to hold open the portal for us. Albionians can handle it if the portal is closed but humans can't. Your magic streams from earthland and if it should close, then your power to rejuvenate your magic is lost. However, some of you shall accompany Fairy Tail to Albion. Your task will be to accompany the team that will blow up the Plasma Cannon. While the team is fighting off the guards, you will disarm the cannon."
The Thunder God Tribe would be flying over the Crysisk Sea. The last two groups, Team Vanquish and the main fighting force, Team Natsu headed for Aramoor to get a boat and cross Xesolf Ocean before heading for Whispering Cedar Forest.
"We will break off the teams into the teams that fairy tail already has and will add in the members that aren't apart of a team." Lucy spoke up next.
Team Shadow Gear and Team Oro plus Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus had received 22 horses from Dewmire Palace and where galloping across the land to Frozen Lake and Snow Bird Lake. Once there, each team dismounted their horses before tying them to nearby trees. Each team walked to their assigned lake and began to look for their assignment targets.
"Like Ronan said, we will split into five teams. Team One will be Team Shadow Gear made up of Levy, Jet, Droy, Gajeel, Pantherlily, Lisanna, Reedus, and Wakaba. Your mission, after arriving in Dewmire Place, is to go the long way by crossing the Bridge of Forbidden Waters." Hibiki's magic created a trailed line from Dewmire to the bridge, "After crossing it, go west to Frozen Lake before going southwest to, the ruined city of Myrefall and up to the old Arkdale Mansion. Team Two will be Team Oro made up of Macbeth, Sorano, Sawyer, Richard, Erik, Macao, Max and Laki you will be heading off to Snow Bird Lake before continuing of to Snow Mockingbird Wood. Lamia Scale representatives Master Ooba, Jura, Sherry, Yuki, and Toby and Blue Pegasus representatives Maker Bob, Ichyia, Hibiki, Ren, Eve, Nichyia, and Jenny you will be heading west to Emerald Quartz Desert before continuing on west to Mirrored Cavity, Glass River and Eternal Lake. It would be smart if you split up there."
Meanwhile, the Thunder God Tribe had crossed the sea and were heading to Mrye Falls. Once there, they headed deep into the cavity behind the waterfall. Deeper and deeper they travelled until the floor evened itself out. Laxus ignited his magic to create a light that guided the team down into the depths of the cave.
"Team Three will be the Thunder God Tribe and it will consist of Laxus, Freed, Bickslow, Evergreen, Elfman, Makarov, Cana, Warren, Happy, Carla, Lector, and Froshe. Your job is to fly over to Myre Falls Before heading to Silver Cedar Lake. The last two two teams will be Team Vanquish, made up of Jellal, Melody, Ultear, Mirajane, Nab, and Vijeeter, and Team Natsu, made up of me, Lucy, Gray, Erza, Romeo, Wendy, Cheria, Gildarts, Juvia, Lyon, Alzack, Bisca, Sting, Rogue, Ronan, and Zeref." Natsu spoke out next,
"Oh, god. I think I'm going to be sick." Sting complained as he hung over the edge of the boat.
"How pathetic." Gajeel murmured from his spot beside Sting.
"Shut up you idiot!" Sting shot up and looked at Gajeel with a new fire in his eyes.
"Wanna fight Blondie?" Gajeel snapped back at him. Both dragon slayers gave each other death looks and looked like they were going to throw down when a giant wave rocked the boat, sending them back to their usual spot of throwing up over the ship.
"We will take a boat across Xesolf sea to Whispering Cedar Forest. There, Team Vanquish will get off and head to the forest before heading off to Hollow Cave. Team Natsu however, will continue by boat and head for Bronze Garden Woodland before heading off to the Elysian Fields."
"Hey look at this Gajeel!" Levy called out to Gajeel and hearing her, he came over to see what she had found.
"Is that it?" Gajeel asked her.
"I think so." Levy answered him.
"Good. Then we're off to Myrefalls."
"Excuse me Natsu, Lucy, Ronan, but why are we going out to these locations? Wouldn't it be better if we just attacked them straight on." The black exceed otherwise know as Pantherlily asked.
"That is a good question Lily." Natsu was the one to answer, "You see, in each of these places, the is a special item that must be obtained. Even if we do not use these items in battle, we must find them before any Albionian realizes we're going to war with them."
"I see... but why do we need them if we won't use them?" Lily asked another question.
"Because these items will make them ten times more powerful and we won't be able to beat them. That answer you question?"
"Yes it does Natsu. Thank you."
"Hey Macbeth." Max shouted to the rest of his group. Even though he only said one name, it was meant to capture the attention of others, "Look what I found." Everyone gathered around Max and looked in awe at the item that he had.
"Good Job Max." Now we have both items on the list." Sorano exclaimed happily, "Lets head out for the Garden of Eden."
"Once you collect all of them items, head for the Garden of Eden. There we will all meet, and discuss as rurther battle plan from there. Alright now lets break." Natsu pumped his fist in the air.
"Good to see you all made it." Natsu applauded his friends, "Now lets see what we got. Team Shadow Gear, looks like you were able to find the Stone of Wisdom and the book of knowledge. Team Oro, good job finding the Ring of Agility and the Shield of Elysium. Representatives from Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus were able to find the Emerald Quartz, Mirror of Truth, Gem of Eternity, and the Glass Dagger. Team Thunder God, it looks like you were able to find the Hammer of Light and the Sword of Albion, very well done. Team Vanquish found the Voice of Reason and the Bow of Justice. And my team was able to find the Bronze Glove and the Seal of Power. Looks like we got all of them. Now it's time to strike."
"As you know, Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus will be tasked with blowing up the Plasma Cannon, so that even if we fail, we will still save the world. The team to accompany them will be none other than Team Oro. Thunder God Tribe your job will to be to secure the outside area so that the rest of us may enter the castle. Once taken in there, Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus will be escorted by Team Oro down the stairs to the Cannon operator. The other teams will be split up randomly to take out the guards and charge the elders. Team Natsu and Team Vanquish however, will be tasked with the destruction of the King's Shadows, or the King's top soldiers, they are the strongest and the most ruthless. Take them on two on one. Don't try to be the hero and take them on one on one." Natsu stopped talking and panned his surroundings, being sure to include everyone in his line of vision.
"I have no words that will prepare you for this moment. The moment the Thunder God Tribe storms that outside of the castle, there will be no turning back. Are you ready?"
"Gehehehe." Gajeel slapped his hand on Natsu's shoulder, "Since when I have been the type of person to back out of a fight. We're all in this together."
"That's what I wanted to hear Gajeel." Natsu closed his eyes and smiled. When he reopened them, they were filled with a new resolve, "Lets go."
"Lighting Typhoon!"
"Uncountable Runes of Nothing!"
"Holy Light!"
"Divine Fortune Manipulator!"
"Demon Take Over: Hell's Demon!"
"Fairy Wind!"
"Soul Rage!"
"Poison Claws
"Copy Cat Transformation: Fairy Wind!"
"Thought Control!"
"Aeroblast!"
"Abysmal Glamour of Transformation!"
BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!
"Alright Everyone let's go!" Natsu shouted at the remaining teams by his side.
"HAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Everyone shouted as they charged forward. Natsu had to admit, the look on the guards faces as they broke down the door was worthy of the Gotcha! program on TV.
"Leave the first floor to us Natsu!" Levy yelled as she started attacking the guards. Natsu just nodded as he ran towards the staircase with the other three teams. Once there, he motioned for team Oro and Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus to take the stairs that winded downwards. Taking the two remaining teams, he followed them as they charged up the stairs. On the landing, he stopped and turned around to where Team Shadow Gear was fighting the onslaught of guards that were streaming out in an rapid flow similar to that of cockroaches. Gajeel notice Natsu lingering and stopped fighting for a few seconds to look that gave Natsu more courage to let them fight the guards than any words that could have been shared. Natsu felt his leg twitch and Gajeel must have seen it because he nodded at Natsu before entering back into the fray.
"Displayer... Passion Script!"
"Steel Magic... Mirror Shot!"
"Razor Wind... Lightning Quick Combat!"
"Solarbeam... Plant Manipulation!"
"Demon Take Over: Black Demon!"
"Sword Dance... Aerial Ace!"
"Artist's Knowledge... Demon Creation!"
"Blending Alteration... Smoke Twister!"
"Damn these morons." Natsu muttered before climbing up the stairs, "Be safe!"
"Look out!" Jellal shouted as another group of soldiers came charging at them on the third floor. Erza gasped in shock before her body froze up completely. Cringing, she waited for a sword to be lodged into her, "Mystical Silver Beam!" Erza heard and looked in shock to see Jellal standing in front of her, "Don't freeze up like that again Erza."
"Right."
"Everyone this way!" Natsu shouted at them to keep moving as he formed a line of fire in front of them.
"Let's go, Erza!" Jellal said to her.
"Yes!" Erza nodded
"God not again." Sting shouted as he was overrun by soldiers, "Holy Frenzy!"
"Sting you alright?" Rogue asked Sting as he jumped back to join Sting.
"Fine thanks." Sting nodded. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a group of guards charged at them at the speed of light.
"Shit!" Rogue cursed as he realized there was no time to dodge them.
"Everyone this way!" Natsu shouted at them to keep moving as he formed a line of fire in front of them.
"Let's go Rogue!"
"Right!"
They were on the fifth floor. Five floors away was the council's floor and another three was the King's chambers. Everyone was heading towards the stairway to the sixth floor. Suddenly, a door appears in front of Melody, Ultear, and Jellal, cutting them off from everyone else.
"Jellal, Melody, Ultear! Can you hear me?" Natsu asked pounding on the door.
"My, my, my. Aren't you humans good. But it ends here." A brown haired woman with a black kimono and black combat boots said sarcastically.
"Melody, Ultear, Jellal." Natsu's pounds grew louder, "Are you alright."
"We're fine Natsu." Ultear answered for her friends.
"Hold on, we're going to break down the door." Natsu informed them.
"No. Keep going Natsu." Jellal stopped him. From the other side of the wall, Natsu's eyes grew substantially wide.
"Are you crazy?!" Natsu screamed at them, "I'm not leaving any of you behind."
"Listen to him Natsu." Melody said, "You taught us how to fight these guys, so let us do it. Let us do what you trained us to do." There was silence on the other side of the wall.
"Alright." Natsu said, his voice breaking the silence, "But you must promise me you will come back alive."
"We promise." Ultear said, "Now get out of here."
"Right. Lets go you guys." The three heard footfalls of the rest of the group leaving.
"It's go time you guys." Ultear let out her battle cry as she and her friends started to attack the member of the King's Shadows.
The team ran down the hallway of the sixth hallway to the staircase that would take them to the seventh floor. They had almost made it there when a cloud of smoke ambushed them and three ninjas tried to attack Natsu. Suddenly two ear splitting roars of ice knocked the three ninjas away from Natsu. As the smoke cleared, Natsu saw Erza, Mirajane, Gray, Lyon, Nab, and Vijeeter stood in front of Natsu.
"Dammit Mira, Erza, Gray, Lyon, Nab, Vijeeter. What do you think you're doing?" Natsu shouted at his six friends.
"Get out of here Natsu." Gray said as he and Erza dodged the smaller ninja's attack.
"But..." Natsu trailed off as he saw his closest friends being attacked by his people.
"Natsu, let us do this." Mirajane injected, "Burst of Demons." She shouted as she summoned a demon so powerful, she wouldn't have been able to take over into it without the spell Natsu taught her.
"Mira..." Natsu trailed off again.
"Let them do this Natsu." Lucy comforted him as she took his arm, "Let them prove to you that they are strong enough to watch your back and fight side by side with you." Natsu turned to look at Lucy and she smiled reassuringly. Natsu then gave her a weak smile before turning to face the twelve people that were left and nodded at them before turning back to face his friends that were fighting for him.
"I'll leave this to you guys then, I trust that you can handle without me looking over your shoulder." Natsu informed them and he could swear he saw them all smile slightly, "But you must promise me that you will win and that you will come back to Fairy Tail alive."
"We promise." Erza spoke up as she looked at Natsu through the corner of her eye. The others did the same as Erza and Natsu gave another weak smile.
"Lets go." He ordered the rest of his group as he ran around the fighting mass.
"Oh no you don't." One of the male ninja's spoke up as he tried to attack the retreating group only to be stopped by Vijeeter.
"Soultap." Vijeeter commanded as he did a quick step with his feet. The ninja stopped what he was doing and froze in mid action. The ninja looked like he was struggling against the spell with little success. He could only watch in bitter hatred as Natsu and his team disappeared behind the staircase.
"So this is where the battle for the title of Star Pupil really begins Gray." Lyon smirked.
"Will you stop with that already, Lyon." Gray smirked back as the two of them readied to strike.
"How many more more flights Natsu." Romeo asked Natsu as they ran down the hallway of the seventh floor.
"There are two more flights after this one, Romeo." Natsu suddenly sensed something and he came to a screeching stop causing the people behind him to fall over each other from the sudden stop.
"Natsu why did you stop?" Lucy whined as she struggled to get up but failed because there were three people on top of her.
"I felt something-" Natsu started to say
"WIND SCREECH!" A voice shouted and a few seconds later, a powerful roar of wind was heading for the team.
"Cheria!" Wendy shouted as she dashed forward.
"Right!" Cheria nodded as they stood in front of the powerful wind. Suddenly, a weird slurping sound was heard as the two young girls started to eat the wind. Everyone watched as the giant wind storm disappeared in a matter of seconds and behind it stood a small young girl around their age.
"You ate my wind." The young girl shook in anger, "And now you're going to die." The girl shouted as she summoned a more powerful wind.
"Leave her to us Natsu." Wendy turned to look at the remaining members of the team with a look of determination in her eyes.
"We got this, go on." Cheria nodded in agreement and Natsu saw a fire in her eyes.
"Right. I'm leaving her to you." Natsu said as he started to run towards the stair, the remaining ten people following him. The climb up this flight was a short on and the team was soon flying down the eighth floor. However, yet again, they were stopped by two members of The King's Shadows.
"Let us take them on, Natsu." Alzack, Bisca, Sting, and Rogue stepped forward.
"Alright. But let me give you some advice: these two don't do well with sneak attacks or sniper attacks. That means Bisca and Sting, you should focus on one while Alzack and Rogue focus on another."
"Sounds good to me." Sting said excitedly.
"Alright. That's all I can do for you I'm afraid. The rest is up to you. Lets go." Natsu waved everyone else forward. Natsu shot one more look back at the four that were fighting but then turned his back on them as he started to climb the stairs to the ninth floor. The ninth floor was a peaceful one and then came the tenth floor. That was when Natsu took the six remaining team members and led them up to a big door that reached from ceiling to floor.
"Your job will be to secure the elders and the council. I can only hope that the Thunder God Tribe as finished securing the area and is heading to give you support. If no one is finished with their task, then you will have to complete this yourself. The elders are the most powerful people in the region. Other than Calix, Rosalia, Kusano, Zeref, and myself. I wish I could fight side by side with you but I have to deal with my brother."
"Vinicíus is actually also on our side." Ronan informed Natsu and Natsu's jaw dropped to the floor.
"Since when?" Natsu asked, shocked.
"He and I both work for Zeref as double agents." Ronan informed him casually.
"And you didn't think to tell me this earlier?" Natsu asked Zeref, a little annoyed.
"Didn't seem important at the time." Zeref said with a shrug.
"You didn't... AARRGH! We have more important things to worry about now. We'll discuss this later. Good luck in your fight." That was the last Natsu said to everyone as he started to run away towards the staircase.
"NATSU!" Lucy yelled at him, causing him to stop suddenly and turn to look at her. Lucy smiled and lifted her hand in the air, index finger pointed up and thumb pointed out to the side. Natsu smiled getting the message and returned it for a few seconds before heading off.
