Hi guys I am here to write chapter 10 of can I take it back, hope you all enjoyed your holidays...for the new year I really hope to start getting back on this story like I use to be trying to update at LEAST twice a week so I'm really sorry for the hold up but I hope this chapter will make up for that and I also want to let you guys know that I have started a new story and I want you guys to check it out when you have the chance because I really think that it is better written than any other story so please go check it out. Like I said before and if I haven't said it I'm saying it now I do not own these characters even though I wish I did.

"Hey Janie, you said you wanted to talk and I figured it had to be pretty serious because you never want to talk and never tell me anything" Angela told Jane as she stood up once she saw her daughter walk into the restaurant Jane asked her to meet her at. Jane could hear the sarcasm in her mother's voice but considering the circumstances she took her mother's words a little to seriously.

"Look ma I'm really sorry for treating you that way I have been, you only ask because you worry and you shouldn't have to ask because I should just be able to tell you, and ma you can't understand how sorry I really am" Jane said and took a breath afterwards. Angela could see the serious look on her's face, she hadn't seen that look since Jane told her she wanted to go to the academy instead of college. "Ma I want to change that, I want to be able to tell you things that are going on in my life, maIhavesomethingtotellyou" Jane squezed in at the end.

"Jane you can tell me anything, you know that and you know that no matter what you tell me I will never think any less of you. You could tell me right now that you just killed someone and I would help you hide the body, I love you Jane. NO MATTER WHAT." Angela said to exagerate her point.

"Well I didn't kill anyone" mumbled quietly so Angela wouldn't hear her. Ma I'm terrified, I am so scared that I have disapointed you time and time again. I wasn't the daughter you wanted, I'm not girly, I don't care about what I wear, I don't go to church anymore. HELL, when you had money troubles, you went to tommy before you came to me. TOMMY MA! I can take that look of disappointment you gave me when I joined the force, or when Frankie said he wanted to follow in my foot steps and instead of dads but I am terrified that you will hate me for what I've done, And I can't take that ma." Jane said as she broke down in tears. "oh Jane I could never hate you and I am not disappointed in you, no matter how hard I am on you about you job, I am proud of what you do everyday to give all those victims and their families justice. I am proud to say my daughter, Detective Jane Rizzoli". Angela finished. "Ma thank you for that, you don't know how much that means to me, but I am not here to talk about my job ma. I need to say what I came here to say or I don't think I ever will."

"What could be so bad" Angela said to herself quietly.

"OH" Angela yelled as she looked up at her daughter who had a hand over her racing heart which was caused by her mother's yelp. Angela leaned forward and whispered as if not to scare her daughter more than she already had. "Are you and Maura dating?" Angela asked and Jane tilted her head as if she didn't understand what she had just been asked." Uh, UH" Jane started to stutter but was interrupted by Angela once again. "I don't know w. shehy you were so worried to tell me Jane, you made it seem like it was the end of the world, you know I love you and Maura's already like a second daughter to me, sure I might night understand it and sure I raised you as catholic but I will still support you both. You know maybe I'm not at a complete loss for grandchildren, Maura looks like she would love to have a child, even though I don't know how that would work between two..." Angela's rant was cut short By Jane. "MA! I am not here to talk about Maura and I either" Jane started. "So there is a Maura and you" Angela inquired. "MA!" Jane yelled once again. "Please, I need you to listen to what I am trying to tell you, It's important that you know".

"You're right Jane and I'm sorry, go ahead" Angela said as she gestured to her daughter.

"Ma I love you and I am going to need you through all this" Jane said.

"Come on Jane just spit it out already, I have to get back to the café". Jane looked up at the mother with tears in her eyes. "MA I'm pregnant" Jane whispered but she didn't need to say it any louder because her mother heard her loud and clear. "Jane" Angela said her daughter's name with a questioning tone. Jane looked up to see confusion in her mother's eyes but she also saw an emotion she didn't really expect to see. And that was HURT!

"Ja-Jane" Angela stuttered."I didn't even know you were seeing anyone". Angela said. "Why" Angela asked with tears in her eyes. "Why didn't you bother to tell me" Jane took a deep breath to answer her mother's question but was interrupted by Angela "You know what, it doesn't matter I just want to meet him" Angela said as she wiped her tears.

"You can't" Jane whispered. "Why the hell not" Angela yelled. Jane looked down at the table they were sitting at. She knew this was the do or die moment. "because I don't know who he is" Jane whispered. "excuse me" Angela yelled. "You can't meet him because I don't know who he is" Jane said a little bit louder but still looking down at the table. Jane expected yelling, cursing, crying, hell of the above from Angela, so when she didn't hear any of that she looked up, only to find that Angela was gone. Of all the scenarios she had thought of, she never thought that her mother would up and leave her when she needed her the most. Jane knew she couldn't cry there so she grabbed her coat and headed for the door because she knew that Maura was at home waiting to give her the support she wanted and needed right now.

Jane walked into Maura's house and immediately smelt food and that's when she burst into tears. Things shouldn't be like this; it should be the other way around. Her ma should be conforting her when Maura didn't want to be her friend anymore because she thought she was some slut. Jane ran up to the guest room and locked the door. She leaned against the door as she slid down it to the floor and just cried. Jane cried for what felt like hours before she heard a soft knock on the door. She knew it was Maura checking to see if she was okay. Jane wiped the tears from her face and got up off the floor that was starting to make her butt hurt. Jane opened the door and on the other side of it was Maura with a look of sympathy on her face. No words were spoken as Maura opened her arms and hugged Jan giving her the support she needed. Maura knew Jane would tell her what happened when she was ready. Jane broke down again in Maura's arms. "she just walked away" Jane cried. "She just walked away" Jane sobbed out again. Maura just held Jane as she cried. Maura couldn't believe what she was hearing. She couldn't believe that the woman she respected, the woman she thought of as a mother, the woman she had grown to know and love , the woman that would give her children the world if she could had just walked away from her child and that's something she couldn't respect.

"Come on Jane, let's go downstairs and get you something to eat" Maura said softly as she guided Jane out of the room.

"Do you think she will ever forgive me Maura" Jane asked softly.

"Of Course" Maura whispered
