Momoko POV

I wonder if this outfit is ok... I twirled my outfit in front f the mirror. I was wearing a pink skirt with a white shirt and a light pink cardigan. It has been a week already from the soccer match between Kaoru and Hiro. It has been a busy week. Rowdy Ruff Boys have destroyed things in the past week but always disappear by the time we get there. If only I could get a glimpse of what they look like! They probably still look like brats. But in the past week, Aki and I got closer and closer together after that day. He was acting less and less of a flirt and we didn't have many arguments anymore. Today was the day I had to go treat Aki with some food (though I kind of wanted to go spy on Kaoru and her date). Doesn't the boy buy the girl food? I looked at my outfit again and at the many outfits I laid out on the bed. I groaned. Why am I getting all dressed up for this? It's not a date! I sighed and picked up some of the outfits that were on the floor.

"Sister!" I heard Kuriko yell as she opened the door and plopped onto the pile of clothes on my bed.

"What? And don't make a mess of it than it already is!" I said trying to get her off my bed.

"Where are you going?"

"None of your business I said with a huff.

"Oh~ is it a date?" Kuriko said with a smirk on her face.

"N-no!" I said while blushing.

"Then why are there so many clothes on your bed?"

"I-I was just finding some clothes I wanted to wear!" I said feeling my face get hotter every second.

"Hm~" Kuriko said while getting off my bed.

"Oh by the way there's a boy outside the door" Kuriko said and stuck her tongue out at me before leaving.

That brat! She could have said that in the first place! I hurriedly put on my shoes and ran to the front door. I saw Kuriko talking to Aki outside.

"...She's going to take a while in the bathroom. She shouldn't have eaten so much for breakfast. She's like a pig. She gobbles everything up without chewing. You should better leave now and consider other girls rather than my sis-"Kuriko stopped talking after I covered her mouth but mumbled something else.

"Ok! That's enough candy for you!" I said while patting her head. Oh you're so going to get it when I get home! "Now off you go!" I said while I gave her a push inside the house and closed the door.

I then turned to Aki who was just smiling at me. I gave a shy smile and rubbed the back of my head.

"Kids these days huh?" I said

"Well your sister is cute" He said while giving me a smirk.

"Yeah well..." I said "More like an ungrateful brat" I mumbled. Aki chuckled and we began walking to the fast food place. We chatted about the simple things. We laughed and teased each other on the way to the fast food restaurant.

On the way to the restaurant, the streets got crowded more and more since it was on a busy street. It was so crowded to the point I got lost in the middle of the crowd. I turned to see if Aki was behind me but no dice. I frantically looked around me and I couldn't find him. I was a bit in a panic but I tried to reassure myself that he was probably at the restaurant already, so I decided to meet him up there. Wait what street am I on? I tried to look at the street sign but more and more people were blocking me. Everyone was moving along like they knew exactly where to go. Whereas I was a lost girl who was being pushed along the crowd. I was panicking more than ever now. I could feel myself sweating a little. Ugh! Where is Aki when you need him!

I then felt someone hold my hand and literally dragged me through the crowd. I looked up and saw Aki. He yelled "Where were you?! I didn't see you for a second and you were gone"

"Well...I didn't see which way I was going..." I said in a low voice. I felt like he was going to yell at me some more like a parent scolding his child not to run off but instead he sighed and then forcibly put my head onto his chest. "You were pretty scared huh?" He said in a low voice.

"Yeah" I murmured out. His warm chest made me feel safe and all warm and fuzzy inside. I wonder what this feeling would be called. I threw that thought away when we broke our hug.

"At least I found you; I saw your huge bow moving around." He said with a smirk. I pouted at him but he didn't see since he dragged me through the crowd. His back was faced towards me. I stared at his back since it was right in front of me. He has pretty broad shoulders though. Ugh what am I thinking? But we arrived at the fast food place in short time.

"You do realize you were on the same street as the fast food place right?" Aki asked. I then blushed in embarrassment which he found amusing. We waited in line for our food. He really didn't hold back! He bought three hamburgers, two large French fries and a large drink. I then ordered my things. While we were waiting, I could hear some girls 'whispering' loudly. Probably about Aki, since he is considered 'hot'

"Hey aren't those two cute?" Girl A said

"They are practically a match in heaven!" Girl B said

I wonder who they were talking about.

"They both have good looks so they fit each other!"

"They both are red-heads!"

"I wished I was matching with my boyfriend!"

They then went on talking about their boyfriends too each other. But I wonder who they were talking about. I scanned the room to see if there were red-heads in this room but there were none except for me...and Aki?! I realized who those girls were talking about and I looked down and saw that we were still holding hands! I blushed in embarrassment immediately.

"Um...Aki...?" I said while looking down.

"Yea?"

"Could you let go of my hand please?" I said in a low voice. His eyes widened a bit and let go of my hand immediately. I could see a little blush on his face. He was acting differently than the last time he held my hand. Maybe it was because he wasn't holding my hand intentionally? We were both blushing in embarrassment and didn't speak for a while though his hand felt really warm... Our food was ready and we sat down at an empty table.

"Um...I'm sorry...I really didn't mean to hold your hand" Aki said, breaking the silence.

"N-no it's ok..." I said. We were still eating in silence. I ripped open the packet of ketchup and accidently squeezed ketchup over my hands. I looked around the table to see if there were any napkins.

"There's some by the counter over there" Aki said while pointing. I nodded and went up to get a bunch of napkins. I then wiped the ketchup with the napkins by the counter. As I was walking back I slipped on a paper bag, scattering the napkins everywhere.

Aki then started laughing out loud, diverting everyone's attention.

"T-the way you looked like w-when you s-slipped was hilarious!" He said while laughing. "And you s-scattered the napkins everywhere!" He said, still laughing. I grunted at him and threw the leftover napkins I had at his face.

"I could have been really hurt you know?" I said

"But you're not" HE said while smirking at me. "You're standing up perfectly fine and your arm works"

"But I could have" I said as I stuck my tongue at him

"Oh don't be a kill joy" He then tickled me a bit until I begged him to stop. We then continued talking as if the awkward silence was a thing of the past.

Yukimi POV

I sighed. I have been having the same nightmares all week. Honestly, I fear of them. I was always drenched in sweat by the time I woke up. I couldn't sleep for over 4 hours each day. At least no one noticed it yet. I poured myself some coffee to drink. I was wearing my gray sweat pants and a white t-shirt that said 'I' don't care'. I then heard my doorbell rang. It must be Kurai. I told him where my house was and what time he should come by. I opened the door and saw him with a beanie on his head, a grey hoodie and dark grey jeans and a guitar on his back. I wasn't surprised that he had a guitar with him since he told me about him having one.

"Hey" He said

"Come on in" I said opening the door a bit wider for him to come in.

"Thanks" He said as he came into the house.

"Pretty big place you got here, is there anyone else in this house with you?" He said while looking around.

"Nope, just me in this big house." I said. He then looked over to me as if he was studying my expression but I was emotionless.

"Isn't it lonely?" He asked.

"Well yeah...at times but I have my friends around sometimes" I said while I felt a little smile creep up my face when I was thinking about Momoko, Kaoru and Miyako. He chuckled a bit (probably at how childish I look) and then looked around my house some more.

"You want anything to drink?" I asked.

"Nah I'm good" he said.

"Alright...My rooms' this way" I said as I walked into my room. He followed me into my room.

"Wow , a lot of instruments here"

"Yeah, you can have a seat on my bed"

"Alright" He then plopped down on my bed and was getting his guitar ready. I handed him a copy of the sheet music.

We started strumming the first few chords on our guitars. I felt myself being entranced by the song for the first time. The melody was so in harmony that I couldn't help but sing and so I did. I saw that this surprised Kurai and even myself since I didn't think I would burst out singing a song that I didn't add lyrics to.

We finished the song after a couple of lyrics later. It left us stunned to what we sang.

"You sing pretty well" Kurai said to me.

"Yeah, you do too" I replied back. I want to hear it again. I should set up the microphone so we can record it.

"Would it be alright if we recorded that?" He asked.

"I wanted to the same thing too" I said as I shot a smile at him. He grinned back and we set up the microphone and etc. We recorded an ever better version of the song. I later burnt the song on a CD so we each could have a copy.

"I bet Momoko, Miyako and Kaoru would love this" I said

"You know you smiled whenever you talk about someone you really care about or when you're talking to them" He said.

I was a bit taken back by this. "I do?" I asked.

"Yea, it seems like you care for them a lot. Like last week, you were grinning ear to ear about how to whistle. I seriously didn't think you had that side of you"

I could feel my cheeks getting warmer. It felt embarrassing on how someone was talking about how the way you act. Thankfully my embarrassment was not noticeable

"Then I will refrain from smiling" I told him, trying to mask my embarrassment

"Nah, I think you're pretty cute when you smile" He said as he shot me a little smile. Now I could feel my face getting warmer and warmer. It was a first to have a boy tell me my smile was cute (probably because I rarely smile). But at least I knew I wasn't the only embarrassed one since after he said that line he looked away and covered his face slightly.

"A-anyway, I should get home now" He said as he got up.

"I'll see you out the door" I said as I got up as well. He gathered his things and I walked him to the door.

"Thanks for the CD" He said.

"No problem" I said, back to my usual expressionless face.

"Maybe we could do this again sometime"

"Yea, we should" I said to him with a little smile which he grinned back.

We waved goodbye and I closed the door. I went back into the room to listen to the song we just sang again.

This was a long chapter! (Mostly brick and momoko though since the story for Yukimi and Brayden didn't work out so well .). The song that Yukimi and Brayden sang was a song that I made up. I wonder if I should put made up songs in the future, real songs or no songs at all for the future. I'll decide later. THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEWS!
