Those Who Fight

"I can still fight! Let me Erza, hell I'll even let Natsu help me!" Natsu grew a tick mark and butted heads with Naruto.

"The hell with that! If anything you can help me fight fishcake!" Naruto himself had tick marks.

"Oh yeah matchstick? At least Laxus never beat me with one punch!" Erza just smiled at their antics while Laxus had a small sweat drop.

'Do they even understand the situation?' He took off his head gear and his coat. "Who's it going to be?" Laxus cracked his knuckles and smirked.

"Naruto, Natsu. You two deal with the lacrima forming the Thunder Palace." Natsu answered her in his usual tone.

"We can't, we'll get fried by the lightning." Erza understood.

"Organic Link Magic, you didn't Laxus!" Said person smirked at Erza's declaration and replied it was true.

"Can I trust you guys to beat him?" She looked at both Natsu and Naruto as they nodded. "Fine then, I'll deal with Thunder Palace and leave the rest to you." Erza left through the entrance as the three had a face off.

(Fairy Tail Ost- Released Power)

"FIGHT!" Natsu leapt first and ignited his hand as well as his legs in a barrage of kicks and fists against the experienced mage. Laxus gripped Natsu's left arm and slammed him to the ground with a crack.

"He's not fighting alone bastard!" Naruto hit him dead at the stomach with his entire body. Laxus however conjoined his arms on Naruto's stomach and picked him up before slamming him with a lightning enhanced power bomb. Naruto spat blood from his mouth, Natsu took this chance to grab Laxus and flipped him over his shoulder.

Laxus skidded on the his heels as Natsu used his flames to speed up. 'Not bad but...' Laxus turned to lightning and went behind him. '...you're 100 years to early before you can beat me!' Laxus elbowed him back and then sent a powerful lightning blast at Naruto.

(Ost End)

"NARUTO!" Natsu thought Laxus obliterated his friend but Gajeel's voice told him otherwise.

"Don't worry, I've got him Salamander." Gajeel stuck to the wall dropped down with Naruto hung over his shoulder. "Can you stand Knight?" Naruto nodded as Gajeel let him go.

"Thanks." 'That spell from before did aa number on me. I have to be careful...Wait, did Gajeel just call me Knight?' Naruto groggily just got up.

"I hate to say it but all three of us need to work together to beat him." Natsu looked at him as if he was crazy. "Look at him, is he the same Laxus you know? No, he's willing to destroy us all." Laxus' eyes turned completely white and lightning danced around his body.

"I'll kill you bastards!" Laxus charged the three, not letting them get the chance to counteract. They managed to dodge his attack.

"Looks like we don't have much of a choice, Natsu. Let's do it!"

(Fairy Tail Ost-Shishi no hoshi rei)

"Salamander, we'll get close to him!" Gajeel and Natsu began trading blows with the mad Laxus. Natsu was sent back by Laxus' lightning enhanced uppercut, which left Gajeel more open to Laxus' barrage.

"Coral Pillar!" Naruto created a pillar made from coral. "Gajeel, try to get away from Laxus!" Gajeel managed to push himself away as Naruto gave Natsu a command. "Natsu break the pillar now!" Natsu used his fired enhanced fists to do it, then repeatedly tossed the broken parts at Laxus.

"Pathetic and futile!" Laxus blasted them all to pieces. Naruto smirked as Laxus let his guard down.

"Really? I don't think so! Gajeel now!" Now Laxus was surprised as Gajeel was just below him.

"Iron Dragon's Club!" Gajeel extended his club and hit Laxus on his face dead on. " Got you bastard. Gihi!" Gajeel suddenly ducked, as Natsu and Naruto unleashed their Dragon's Roar. "Oi! You trying to kill me idiots!?" Laxus slowly began to get up, which Gajeel saw and used his own Dragon's Roar.

(Ost End)

"Tough bastard. But we got him." Gajeel panted until Laxus' voice stopped them in their tracks.

"I don't think so." Laxus stood up as his shirt was ruined and he only got dirty from the fight they just had.

"W-what?" Naruto said.

"N-no way!" Natsu was in denial.

"You call yourselves Dragon Slayers, let me show how powerful one truly is. I had to hide this from the old man but I will reveal my true power to you." The remainder of Laxus' shirt was torn apart as his muscles and body expanded and scales were on his arms.

'No way...he's a Dragon Slayer!' All three thought as Laxus charged up a powerful attack.

"Take a real roar! Lightning Dragon's Roar!" Laxus sent a powerful attack which made the three go on the defensive. Naruto created a coral wall, with Gajeel and Natsu at his sides. They touched his shoulders and combined their magic to defend themselves from the attack.

The dust cleared and we see our three mages down on the ground. They were still alive and damaged badly, Gajeel and Naruto badly. Naruto mainly since the spell Laxus used on him a while ago still took it's toll and Gajeel took the brunt of Laxus' last attack. Natsu just about stood up.

"Gluttons for punishment you guys are. Let me show you the power of the guild masters who commanded Fairy Tail." Laxus was glowing and he placed one hand on top of the other. Soon a powerful light appeared as Laxus charged up a powerful spell. Fairy Law.

(Fairy Law Ost)

"With this I will destroy you all, all of Magnolia will fall!" He raged on as his power was still building up.

"That's Gramps magic." Natsu stated as the other two felt the power Laxus was radiating. Suddenly, Levy arrived, panting heavily and had a worried expression on her face.

"Laxus! Master, your grandfather, is on death's door!" Laxus' eyes returned to normal. The others were shocked at Levy's statement. "Please, go to him. Go see your grandfather before it's too late.

"This is perfect! Looks like I'm back in the running for guild master again!"

'Laxus, you damn bastard!' Naruto thought with Natsu growing enraged at this as well and Gajeel shocked to the core.

"Begone!" The light enveloped the whole town. A moment later, it is revealed that nothing happened to anyone.

(Ost End)

"It didn't work but why?" Naruto asked Levy who had no idea either. A voie behind them began to explain.

"I know why." Freed, holding his arm appeared before them.

"Freed." Levy went to him as the green haired man could barely stand.

"No one has been killed but the guild members are knocked from dealing with Thunder Palace Kurama is also helping by treating their wounds." This made everyone sigh in relief as Freed continued.

'Way to go fuzzball.' Naruto thought as his partner did something useful instead of his usual antics.

"You can lie but your magic can't, Fairy Law only affects those who the caster sees as enemies. Inside your heart you care about your friends, you inherited more than your grandfathers power." The Lightning Dragon Slayer once again gained his crazy look.

"SHUT UP!" Lightning surrounded his body once again. "I'm Laxus, not that old man's grandson!"

"We already know that bastard! Being Gramps' grandson has nothing to do with it. We never treated you any differently from how we treat each other, you're just being a jackass! In Fairy Tail, we're a part of the same family. Not Natsu's best move as Laxus eyes turned white again and he charged.

"Laxus!" Natsu charged Laxus with renewed vigour. They took the fight to the roof tops and Natsu was beginning to lose. They both became their elements, lightning clashing with fire. Natsu hit Laxus with a right hook, with Laxus countering with a left and then gripped Natsu's head, tossing him backwards.

"Lightning Dragon's Breakdown Fist!" Laxus punched the air, sending a lightning blast shaped like a fist at Natsu which hit dead on.

"Even if everyone in the guild dies, even if it disbands. You'll never be guild master!" Laxus simply sneered.

"I'll end you now then." Laxus raised his hands and formed a powerful lightning spear, getting ready to hurl it at the weakened Natsu.

"Laxus don't do it! In his condition, Natsu will die from that attack!" Laxus did not listen as he threw the spear which also doubled as a thunder bird. It however suddenly stopped and was directed toward Gajeel who turned his arm to a club.

'He turned himself to a lightning rod.' Freed thought and noticed Naruto wasn't by their side anymore as well.

(Fairy Tail Ost-Main Theme)

"Oi bastard!" Laxus turned around to see Naruto behind him with his arms joined but his arms separate. "Sea Dragon's Shock Wave!" Naruto used his magic to enhance his attack hit Laxus with a devastating shock wave, sending him towards Natsu.

"GO NATSU!" Naruto and Gajeel yelled at their comrade. Natsu connected with a barrage of fists, followed by a kick to the chin.

"Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!" Natsu's arms were ignited in a crossed motion. He ran forward and swung them, hitting Laxus with deadly precision, causing him to go airborne. "Crushing Fang!" Natsu scratched the blonde at his chest, forming marks.

"Iron Fist!" A powerful uppercut landed followed by a Flame Elbow. "I hope this brings you back to your senses Laxus. Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame!" Natsu made a large fireball which created an explosion, knocking out Laxus successfully.

"HELL YEAH!" Natsu screamed to the heavens as he beat Laxus.

(End Ost and a small timeskip)

Natsu, Gajeel and finally Naruto sat down on a bench within the guild, all three wrapped in bandages. "MJGJJSAFHCJCX!" Natsu's mouth was bandaged, so he could only speak in mumbles.

"Oi, calm down Natsu. We're too injured to participate in Fantasia." Natsu mumbled even more. "How the hell should I know?" Naruto and Gajeel could understand Natsu somehow, which was noticed by Lucy and Happy.

'Naruto speaks idiot, no surprise there. But that is.' Kurama thought as he saw the one who caused this trouble.

Laxus arrived at the guild, causing an uproar. He wanted to see Makarov, who managed to survive his ordeal. Erza allowed it, she could she the change in Laxus with one look at his face.

Natsu being who he was interrupted. He mumbled his words again but barely anyone understood him, causing the guild to turn white in embarrassment. "He said he won't accept the beat down he gave you since it wasn't one on one. He expects a fight again Laxus and frankly so do I." Laxus held out his hand as a sign of respect.

"Now he stops being a jackass. Idiot." Naruto sat back down as in a few hours Fantasia would begin.

(Orion's location)

"Zabuza escaped but I have his blade." Orion used a lacrima to contact Riku who sounded displeased, though he still spoke in monotone.

"Unacceptable, you are to find him and kill him. I need him dead for tarnishing our name. Fail me again and I'll allow Esdeath to torture you before I personally end it." Riku hung up on him, Orion felt like wetting himself.

'Esdeath I can handle but Riku, the devil himself would fear.' Orion took out his own sword. 'My own father fell to him after all.'

(Fantasia Parade Day)

A lot of the guild members dressed up for the parade. Gray and Juvia were dressed as a royal couple and created an ice palace. Mirajane came out of a flower then turned herself into a lizard. Lucy, Bisca and Levy stood together.

Natsu came walking out, using his flames to spell out 'Fairy Tail'. Naruto also beside Natsu, created the guild's symbol using water. Laxus watched from afar and smiled, he remembered the gesture he made when he was a child.

(Fairy Tail Main Theme-Slow Version)

"W-what?" His grandfather on top the stage made the gesture he used to give. The gesture itself was a message: 'Wherever you may be, no matter how far you are, I will always be watching.'

Laxus saw everyone else giving the same gesture in Fairy Tail. Even Naruto, who he had tortured with that spell of his. "Gramps." Laxus cried as he left, to a new journey.

(Ost End, unknown location)

'Damn him. Riku, you want to get rid of me because I know your secret don't you?' Zabuza was in a cave, blood coming out of his mouth. He had bruises and cuts everywhere, alongside a broken sword. He got up and noticed the rain.

'Some one will stop your mad ambitions, even Orochimaru was against them. I will expose you.'
