A/N:Long time since I last updated, right people? Yeah...My apologies, I've been focusing so much in school and other stories lately that it just... Yeah well. And the medication makes me a bit lazy, a bit more than I am already so yeah...

Disclaimer: I do not own Victorious...
Maybe I should just turn around and tell her I got detention.
Here was Jade, even though she didn't look like Jade. It made her feel so weird and vulnerable, so walls-free. She hated it.
Tori's worth it.
If she was honest, she was just doing this to share some time with Tori because she couldn't care less about her math's grades. If it was any other person she'd skip it and do other things- better thing than just study maths.
Green light.
Turn around Jade, don't go straight, don't pass the turn, don't pass the turn, don't you dare pass the- you passed the turn. Well done West.
There was no turning back and Jade knew it, so she hit the gas just to end with the trip already.
She arrived to the residence and knocked the door like the first time and, once again was totally relieved when Tori opened the door, and Tori seemed relieved too. Jade was about to frown in confusion, but as soon as Tori invited her in and she saw who was standing in Tori's living room she kinda understood.
There he was Tori's Aunt, a very well known (and religious) preacher. It didn't take rocket science to understand that Tori wasn't expecting him to be here today, or maybe at this exact time.
She introduced herself as Jade West, Tori's classmate.
Tori didn't give too much space for questions; she practically dragged Jade to her room, which said girl was totally grateful for. Deal with Tori's aunt the first day? No-oh, thank you.
"Sorry about that" Tori's voice said once the girl room door's was closed.
"Don't worry is cool" You totally save me from your Uncle, thank you.
"Okay, uhm, let me look for my book"
The books, right
Tori's parents seem to be totally okay with her. Sure, that was because they didn't see anything weird on her and, maybe, because she have brought lots of other people before too. She couldn't be the first student she tutored, right?
She met them when Tori's mom, Holly, entered the room asking if the girls needed anything and out of nowhere, a man's head appeared in the door frame. Jade's brows shot up in confusion, but Tori groaned, and that only could mean one thing.
"Hey Mrs and Mr. Vega" Jade greeted politely.
"You must be Jade, right?" her father asked. She nodded. "And you and Tori are friends, right?"
"Uh, yeah..." No. She had a weird feeling about this whole thing, and it got worse when Tori's dad came inside the room.
She heard Tori whispering an annoyed "not again" and she could swear she felt her crush rolling her eyes.
"You know Jade, I tried to get Cat to spill it, and then André and I saved Beck for the last because I was sure it was him"
Woah, woah, woah. Too many names in such a short time, besides, what was the point of all his rumbling?
"So" the man continued "I was just wondering... Do you know who Tori's boyfriend is?"
"Dad!" "David!"
Should I laugh or cry?
Jade opted for the first one. After all, she was a good actor and it was kinda funny... Mr. Vega's totally shameless question and innocent face, Mrs. Vega's 'you are unbelievable' s and Tori's mortified face... Yeah, it was pretty hilarious.
"No, sorry sir, I don't have a clue"
"Ow!"
And just like that, Tori's parents left the room. Jade was tempt to ask something that was really trying to slip out of her mouth "what the hell?", but tried to control herself and instead said "Your parents are cool"
Tori laid herself on her bed and sighed. Jade couldn't help but stare at her and her oh-so perfect body. Okay, okay, so Jade never wanted to be one of those chicks who liked boys just because they were 'cute'. Dude, she hated when people, girl's mostly, will go around giggling about how perfect a boy's hair is, or how his abs are so hot, or the way he smiles, oh-the smile- Crap. She had her good reasons to hate it. First, she didn't like boys, not at all, they were- at childish as it sounds- always sweaty or sticky and... And they had... they had that. That. That thing girls didn't, that's it.
Anyways, with Tori was different. She always thought those girl were so shallow, but now she kinds of understand. Tori's personality is awesome, she's a really good person, maybe a bit too good for her own good, but whatever it proof her point. Now, having that body, well yeah it made her hot and blah, blah, but overall it made her shine so, so, bright. In Jade's eyes she was the most beautiful thing on Earth- hell, the most beautiful thing in the Universe.
Her body just, somehow, fit with her personality: light. Yup, Tori's personality was light, according to Jade anyways.
"Now I'm sorry about that too" Tori's voice came from the pillows. Jade chuckled.
"It's alright, but now you have to tell me, who is that special person...?" the Goth said with the best smile and best teasing tone she could pull off.
"Oh, no don't you dare start that with me, I already had it from Cat, André and Beck. I'm not dating anyone, not seeing anyone, I'm single and totally happy to be, by the way" You heard that Heart?! Let's go get Brain and celebrate!
"Woah girl, okay then, let's go on with this numbers then, I don't wanna have to spend my summer near this things" Jade pointed to her books. Tori laughed and grabbed her pencil.
The next couple of days went by technically fine, Jade would go to school and then in noon she'd go to Tori's house. Holly insisted on them studying down in the living room, or the kitchen, so she could give them something to eat every once in a while, but Tori quickly, but politely, refused.
"I, I mean... If you're okay with it..." She told Jade.
Spending more time with you Vega?
"Fine by me" she tried to hide her emotion, and luckily succeed.
David kept insisting there was someone who was trying to 'steel his baby girl away from him' which made Tori roll her eyes and blush at the same time. Jade loved it.
It was kinda... cute actually, the way Mr. Vega cared so much for his daughter, not that what he was doing this whole "where's the boyfriend!" thing, was right, but at least he showed some interest.
Jade's dad did too... sometimes. Okay, is not like he didn't love her, it was more like the other way round. But she was wounded, she couldn't help it! If she left her in again he was going to break her again, for sure.
But of course, nothing could stay simple and peaceful in a teenager's life and Jade was no exception. On Thursday, a day before the test, while they were on Tori's room, Jade noticed something weird. Weird and maybe a bit embarrassing, or maybe it was just the way Tori had been staring at her for the past ten minutes.
"Uhm... is there something on my face?" she tried to make it sound like a joke, she really did! But it was so not-her and she had been acting not-her, not-Jade, for so long now that... Geez, it could have been worst...
This seemed to take Tori by surprise. She frowned a bit before shaking her head, probably trying to clear her mind.
"I was just thinking, never mind"
Lately, that same day Jade caught Tori doing the same thing: staring. Is not like she could get mad with the girl, Jade used to spend her whole math period staring at her, which was before they started drawing together. And when they were younger she'd stare too, in the hall ways, at lunch, in classes, Tori was always Jade's eyes unique target. The first thing she looked for when she arrived to school was that flawless smile, those dark eyes and chestnut hair. She was pathetic but couldn't help it!
"Uhm, Tori..."
"Oh, yeah, sorry" Jade watched as her dreamed girl's cheeks turned a little pinker.
She blushed... Oh sweet Jesus
"Jade, can I ask you something?"
I totally wanna go out on a date with you Tori!
"Sure" the Goth tried to keep her focus on her book, other way she was sure she'd totally zone out and start thinking about a bunch of non-possible dates with the girl next to her.
"Where are your extensions?" Jade closed her eyes and mentally cursed. She knew the question would come, but she was hoping it would take a little more time until Tori asked. Wrong.
"Uhm… home"
What? It was an honest answer, lame but honest. Tori nodded.
"They look nice on you" and there was that smile again.
Even though she noticed how the Goth un-Jade herself every time she went to her house, Tori sat next to Jade in Math's class.
It was exam day and Jade spent the whole night thinking instead of sleeping. Why did Tori ask her that if she was just going to accept that lame answer? Why didn't she keep questioning her? Was she mad? Did she know what was going on all the time and just needed?
" do I need to talk to you again?" Oh sweet…
"Sorry , I'm just a bit distracted" She could feel Tori glancing at her and she couldn't help that warm feeling in her chest. Tori glanced at her!
"Okay then, but now try to concentrate on your test"
"My w-what?"
Someone poked her ribs and she was prepare to exterminate that dared to poke her a second until she realized it was Tori's finger. She turned and looked at her.
"What?" Jade whispered, Tori nodded to the test. Yup, there was a paper over her desk so that must be it.
Thankfully she did pay attention in her tutor classes with Tori and she was able to do most of the exercise, some other took her a little more time and she erased everything more than once but by the end of the period Jade had her test done.
She handed it in and left the room without saying much.
The cherry on top of the cake was when Tori sat next to Jade in lunch time. Lunch time! She ignored all her friends calling, even Cat, she just sat there and ate. Eventually Cat came and sat in the same table too, she started asking what was up, if she was okay, you know thing that friends do. Not even five minutes have passed before those two guys who always sit with Tori walked to the table too.
"Uh… Hi" Robbie awkwardly said. Jade rolled her eyes; the boy couldn't be around Cat without getting all stupid.
"It's okay if we sit with you guys?" A dark skin guy asked. Jade only nodded without paying to much attention.
When she noticed everyone was a little too quiet she looked up from her food. One person needed to go, the table was full.
"It's okay, I'd go sit there" that Beck guys said.
"Sinjin get out of here" Jade snapped even before she could stop herself, she didn't exactly know why.
"What? But I wa-"
"MOVE!"
"Moving!"
"Can you tell me who are you? And, what have you done to my best friend?" Robbie asked her after class. There were some days in which they would walk home together, no it wasn't exactly all the time and they haven't done it in a while now but it always felt nice.
"What are you talking about geeky?" Jade chuckled.
"Geeky? Haven't heard that one in a while now… It's just, we used to hang out more often you know" Robbie started looking for something inside his pocket and when he pulled his hand out he had two chewing gums "Want any?"
Jade started at them, "Mint?".
Robbie nodded, "As always". Jade laughed before picking one, she unfolded it before putting in her mouth… She loved mint.
"Wait, what were you saying?" This entire gum thing totally got her lost, weird because she usually she paid more attention to what Robbie was saying.
"We don't hang out! Is like you don't want to spend time with me!"
Okay, maybe she had left him a little aside but… Oh dang it.
"Oh Robbie, you know I'm sorry! I don't do it on purpose I've been a little busy, that's it"
"Sure" He used the tone.
"Come on, don't be like that, we'd go to the cinema tonight, how about that?" Please say yes!
Robbie stopped walking and he seemed to be fighting a little with himself before giving up, "O-okay… Can we go to Nozu afterwards?"
Jade laughed, "Yup"
That's better
Robbie was the only friend she had, without him she was totally lost… socially at least. There was nobody who could really understand her and Robbie couldn't even, at least not totally but at least he was honest and when her parents divorced he was there to listen. Robert was a good friend.
A/N: Geez! I think is the longest I've written! I wanted to make it longer but if I did you'd have to wait like another week and I didn't want that to happen. Sorry if it took me too long, too many thing to explain… my fingers hurt, my head too (I manage to hit the pool floor REALLY hard… don't ask). I'd leave you with that guys, now I'm going to the pool 'cause I'M MELTING HERE IS REALLY, REALLY HOT! (94 F° IT'S REALLY HOT FOR ME I'M NOT USED TO THIS!). Bye guys!
