Hey friends, new chapter! I was really pressed for time this weekend but not to worry, I pulled through:)
Disclaimer: Yana Toboso owns Black Butler and all of its characters. I do not.
Warnings for this chapter: Uh, well I guess there is yaoi hinting but I don't see how that would be a big deal. This is a yaoi pairing fic after all. I'm sure you're all expecting much much more.
This is going to be half in Ciel's pov and half in Sebastian's. The divider will distinguish them. I'm telling you ahead of time so that I don't interrupt.
Ciel stepped out of the shower door, wisps of steam rolling off him. He shook his deep blue tinted hair and made a clear spot in the mirror.
His reflexion stared back at him with one eye closed. Ciel wrapped a fresh towel around his waist and draped the damp one around his neck after using it to dry his hair. He had been thinking about different tests for Sebastian and ended up taking a longer shower than needed. His cheeks were now pink from the heat still settling beneath his skin.
The image of his dripping wet hair and flushed face gave him the perfect idea for his latest test. 'Sebastian has already proven he would go to great lengths for me, now let's see how much he can hold back.' Ciel thought as he slipped on a pair of boxers under his towel in case Sebastian failed the test. He wasn't going to make himself actually vulnerable, it would just seem like he was.
With a quick wink in the mirror to boost his courage, he stepped out of the bathroom wrapped in his towel and headed to where Sebastian was reading in the living room.
What Ciel was about to do would contradict everything he believed he would never do.

Sebastian set his coffee cup down on the table beside the armchair he was sitting in and slid a bookmark in his newest medical book. Ciel had just caught his attention from where he stood beyond the wall.
Sebastian's cute sensors went into overdrive at the sight of Ciel timidly peeking out from behind the wall, hair shiny with water droplets making their way down his neck and rose colored cheeks.
"Ciel?" he said. "Is something the matter?" He felt his throat clench with the strain of holding back the urge to grab the adorable boy and squeeze him for hours. The healthy heart in his chest beat more quickly every second.
"Um," Ciel started with eyes downcast, "T-There's a huge spider on my clothes.. in the bathroom.."
It took a moment for Sebastian to comprehend what he wanted. When he understood, he immediately stood and made his way to the bathroom, ready to show Ciel all the different ways he could protect him.
When he got there, steam was still slightly fogging up the large mirror over the sink. Sure enough, there sat a spider on top of Ciel's small pile of clothes on top of the hamper. It was big enough to scare anyone with even a slight fear of spiders, but not so big that he couldn't handle it.
He left briefly to get a piece of paper, during which he noticed Ciel wouldn't leave his side, and when he came back he scooped up the spider on the paper. Ciel flinched a little when its legs made skittering noises on the paper as he dumped it into the toilet and flushed.
He noticed that the warmth had left the bathroom and Ciel was shivering from being in just a towel. Acting on an instinct be didn't even know he he had, Sebastian made to put his arm around him to help warm the boy up. He stopped when he saw the small flinch Ciel made and the struggling side glance his way.
It was getting dangerous for Ciel to be around him if he couldn't control his urges. 'I need to learn how to be more careful around him, especially when he's this cute and... exposed. That was a close one. I get the feeling he's testing me in a way though.' Sebastian thought to himself. "Why don't you put your clothes on and get warmed up. I'll make us some hot chocolate." he offered.
Ciel nodded and gave him a small smile in thanks before he shut the bathroom door.
X~X~X
Ciek let out a long sigh after he shut the door. His eyebrow was twitching from the embarrassment he just put himself through.
"Seriously, that was harder than I thought. Stuttering is unbecoming. He didn't even try to hide the obvious blush on his face when I asked for help! I swear, if he would have actually put his arm around me when I was shirtless, he would have gotten a black eye." he grumbled to himself as he finished getting dressed.
He still wasn't sure if he could trust Sebastian completely, he did waver in this test. He'd have to try something else to be sure. But Ciel was secretly glad that Sebastian had passed and part of him was excited for the next test even though it was likely to be very embarrassing on his part.
Aaaand done! See you guys next week:D Feel free to give me your suggestions and please review! I want to know what you thought.
