Hey everyone! I'm soo sorry for the delay in a new chapter, but with school, family, friends. Well in general, life things were tough to juggle.
On top of that, I just got over a breakup and things were hectic. I'm truly sorry.
Anyways, here's a little something for you guys, I know it's not long and very... confusing at some points but I would love to hear your thoughts on what's happening with Sky!
Disclaimer: I don't own the twilight characters, just my off story and Sky! Thank you :)
After catching up with everyone, Carlisle casually asked me to join him in his study to discuss some things about the wedding but I knew it wasn't about the wedding.
"What is this all about Carlisle? I know it isn't about the wedding so tell me." I said stubbornly with my arms crossed and my head held high.
He came about his desk, fiddling with some loose paper on the surface and then sitting down in his office chair. "Things have changed haven't they?" he asked while leaning over his desk, resting his elbows on top of his desk, poising his chin onto his folded hands.
"What do you mean changed? Things are better than ever between Embry and I. I haven't caused any problems, I don't understand." I was puzzled with his question. Nothing's changed, unless.-
"I mean your hunger, what have you been eating as of late?" Yeah he saw the changes, I sighed and answered him truthfully, "only human food, except for one time Embry made me go out to hunt."
"I see," was all he said while he jot down notes. "What about your powers? have those changed?"
"Y, yes-" "How?" I was cut off by my answer with his curiosity, he got up at the same time walking towards me.
"I can't change materials into what I want anymore, it ends up turning into something completely different." I was a little worried with how things were going then something escaped my lips.
"I also hear a voice inside my head," I whisper to myself.
"You hear a voice? What does he/she tell you?" Now Carlisle was full blown writing at vampire speed in his notebook.
"She's my self conscience almost, she told me about the imprint when it first happened. Also, she doesn't have the same voice as me, it sound's gruffer, as if it were a beast trying to speak in human tongue."
He nods at my response and keeps writing down notes. "I see, well I can't do anything for now because I don't have the slightest idea as to why things are changing the way they are. We'll just have to monitor your changes and see where that brings us," he says with a slight smile that doesn't reach his eyes.
Ah shit, things aren't going good if Carlisle's giving me that look.
I leave his study, my thoughts lingering on the questions he asked and the answers I gave him. What could this all mean? What am I changing into?
The next few days were going as planned, Esme was beyond ecstatic and Alice was running around telling everyone what to do as usual. I truly didn't mind the hustle and bustle, I was simply happy being a part of a wedding.
Carlisle kept giving me strange looks every once in a while and Edward noticed it too. Other than that we were living our merry little lives.
Today was the day we were meeting the priest to go over the ceremony. Everyone made it in, the Alaskan coven, Egyptian coven, Irish coven, Amazonian coven and last but not least Peter and Charlotte even though Alice was reluctant to invite them to her parents second wedding. They did invite the Volturi but they simply send their congratulations and apologized for not being able to make it. Even though the majority of our group didn't want them there. We didn't want them to catch wind of it and be upset for not being invited. Either way the coast was clear because Alice saw their decision before we sent out the invitations, she knew they weren't going to go.
As we were getting ready for everything, the people dropping off the flowers for the wedding were vampires as well, the European Coven that we didn't know much of because they were recently established. Everyone was excited to meet this new coven and to introduce themselves.
Everything was going great, we were placing the decorations with Alice bossing us around of course. That's when I saw him, bringing in a bouquet of the most beautiful exotic flowers I've ever seen. There stood the man that ruined everything for me, the man that took it all away. Philip, as he straightened out after putting down the flowers, he turned around and a lovely women walked towards him gesturing him in our direction. He gave her a passionate kiss and a nod, they both made their way over and introduced themselves. Embry felt me tense and held me tighter to him.
"Hello Cullen family and friends, we are your florists and we're happy to finally meet the great vegetarian coven and the man that started it all. My name is Philip, I am the owner of this business and coven leader. This is my wife and mate Nathalie, she is the co-owner of this business." They were both looking us over, then Philip's eyes landed on me and he held my gaze.
"Well ma petite chouette, I thought I would never see you again, Sky."
Reviews make me happy!
Don't forget to let me know what you think's going on with Sky.
Thank you soo much for reading! Hopefully it won't take me as long to post a new chapter.
