Chapter 10: the creative process
After their amazing experience at a trendy club near their school. Their newly found band soul searchers, were in the process of making it big in music history. Thanks to Kevin Matsumoto, he was the band's publicist. Making and scheduling events for the band. When it was time to get serious, they realized that they need protection. Form crazy fans, since they can't to use their powers on regular humans. While Hannah and the others were thinking of new songs to do. Renji went back to the soul society, to ask Kenpachi and soi fong a favor. "Lieutenant Abarai, what is favor that you wanted?" Asked captain of squad of two soi fong. "Captain Soi fong, what I ask of you. Is to be a bodyguard." he said. "Bodyguard? What is the meaning of this?" she asked curiously and intrigued.
"Some humans in the world of the living, along with ichigo and his friends. Have decided to form a band. And to have protection of the band form the fans" renji explained. "And why should I be a bodyguard for this band. You're a lieutenant of squad six, you have experience in combat." She said. "But captain, think about it. Since I am a part of this band we cannot take action with our swords. It will be too risky and dishonorable. " Renji went on pleading soi fong. "Please captain, I never ask favors of you at all, because I know your duty is to your squad." He said pleading once more. Soi fong thinks about it and says
"Alright renji, I'll do your favor. But if you or anyone else, starts fights within the band. Or letting your ego get the best of you, I will quit being a bodyguard". Renji's smile lit up happy, that soi fong accepted his business proposal. He deeply bows saying "thank you very much captain soi fong. I promise you want be disappointed"."You're welcome, renji. Oh and about this bodyguard position. Will anyone else join me?" she asked him. "Oh, yes. I'm headed to go ask captain Zaraki. About the position as well." He said in excitement. "Interesting, Kenpachi and I working together as bodyguards. I look forward to seeing how this works out." She said with a grin, walking back to her barracks. Renji ran to squad eleven barracks, where he found Lieutenant Yachiru Kusajishi. Drawing on the dirt with kenpatchi's sword.
"Lieutenant Kusajishi where's captain Zaraki?" renji walked up to Yachiru. She looked up smiling seeing renji. "Oh hi red pineapple! Kenny is in the back relaxing. He let me borrow his sword, so I can draw on the dirt." She said cheerfully, "my name isn't "red pineapple" it's Renji Abarai. And thanks." He said a little annoyed at the fact, Yachiru gave him that name. Because his hair looked like a pineapple. And it was red. Since he styled his hair upwards. He continues to walk behind the barracks, finding Kenpachi relaxing."Captain Zaraki sir. May I have word with you?" Said renji. Zaraki looked up and sees Renji with the little grin: "What it is that you want, Renji?" he says with the rugged voice. Renji clears his throat and asks. "I was wondering if you could become our bodyguards with Captain Soi Fon for our upcoming band project." Zaraki's facial expression changed a little and stood up. Dusting himself off, Zaraki straightened his captain's uniform and spoke.
"Hmmm, sounds interesting. So is that mean that Soi Fon and I will break some skulls along the way?" he grins as if he's into his murderous ways. Renji was very well aware of his murderous intentions, so he tries to calm Zaraki down and knock some senses into the captain. "You know captain, with all due respect, you can't just go out there and killing people. All we need for you and Captain Soi Fon to do is to protect us without resorting to violence." Renji sighs as Zaraki, looking at his also because of the fact that Renji ruined the moment of so called "fun". However, Zaraki understood where Renji was coming from. "Alright Renji, I'll take up the offer." Renji smiles. "Thank you so much, Captain!" Renji bows as Yachiru popped out of nowhere, saying: "Yay~! Kenny is gonna be a bodyguard!" She says cheerfully as she glomps on Zaraki's back. "L-Lieutenant Kusajishi?! When did you get here?" renji said surprised to see her. The last time he saw was out front of the barracks drawing.
"Oh, I was bored so I was in that tree listening in to the whole conversation." She said with a smile on her face, hanging on to kenpatchi's back. "That is very rude, lieutenant. You shouldn't listen on other people's conversation." Said renji. "Kenny doesn't mind right Kenny?" she said looking at Kenpachi with big sad puppy dog eyes. Kenpachi sighed while starching his head saying "it's alright I suppose. Just don't let it happen again Yachiru." she smiled and nodded. With that renji left, and headed to the world of the living to meet up with this friends. "Hey guys what's up" he said entering Hannah and shinji's house.
"Where were you renji? You just left without saying anything." Said Natalie. Renji looked around and notice that Hannah, shinji and keigo were gone. "Well I was asking captain soi fong and captain Zaraki to be body guards for our band. Where is Hannah, shinji and keigo?" he said looking around. "Hannah, shinji and keigo went to ask kisuke and yoruichi to our manager." Said ichigo. "Oh I see" renji said as he was going to, the kitchen getting a can of soda and sitting on the couch. "So what did captain soi fong and captain Zaraki say about being bodyguards" asked orihime curiously.
While opening the can of soda, renji says "oh they said okay. They are both very pumped about it. Although captain Zaraki I had to make sure. He wasn't going back to his old ways of murdering people." While the others were relaxing and house sitting for shinji and Hannah. Keigo and two of this best friends headed to kisuske's shop to see him and his childhood friend yoruichi. To ask them a favor. "Do you think they will say "yes"? I don't know what if they are busy" said keigo. "Honestly keigo think about it, what could kisuke could possibly be doing. All he ever does is sleep and be lazy." Said Hannah.
"Or he could be having sex with yoruichi ha-ha" said Shinji jokingly. Hannah giggled as she cling on to him, once they walked to the shop. They saw jinta and Ururu cleaning the front of the shop. "Hey Jinta and Ururu!" said Hannah waving at them as she held Shinji's hand. They looked up Ururu smiled and waved, as Jinta stood there holding the broom picking his ear saying "sup". "Is kisuke and yoruichi inside? Asked Shinji."Boss and his lady friend are inside. Watcha need?" said jinta. "It doesn't involve you two." Said Hannah trying to be polite, as they walked inside Tessai saw them and said "please wait here for a moment, I'll let the boss know you are here". They nodded as Tessai went inside the rooms saying "Boss, Hannah, Shinji and keigo are here. They said they needed to talk to you and Miss Yoruichi." After drinking his tea he said "okay, bring them inside." As Tessai left Hannah and her beloved followed along with keigo.
"Ah, Hannah, shinji and keigo. What a delightful surprise to see you three. What can I help you with?" kisuke said sipping his tea, as yoruichi sat next to him crossed arms. And looking at them as if she was mad or something. "We have come to ask a favor of you two." Said keigo. "A favor? Which is what?" asked yoruichi. "We want you two to be our manager for an upcoming band project we are doing." Said shinji. "Before you say anything else. We already have our bodyguards, its captain soi fong and captain Zaraki. " Said Hannah. "Seems like you all have thought this through." Said yoruichi.
"Who asked captain soi fong and captain Zaraki?" asked kisuke. "Renji went off to the soul society and asked those two himself. They both agree to the idea willingly. " Said Hannah. "And so, you want us to be the manger of this band project." Said kisuke. "Yes, kisuske. We are you asking you please." Said shinji. "We know that you two are not busy. Seeing that you two have a lot of time on your hands." Said keigo. Hannah slapped keigo's as he winced in pain. She said to him "don't be disrespectful. This is a business proposal".
Keigo nodded holding his head. Kisuke and yoruichi thought about it for a moment. Then kisuke looked at them sternly, as he pulled out his fan. His mood changed as he spoke saying "we would be delighted to be a part of the band project and your mangers". Keigo and Hannah were surprised at his sudden change of mood. Including shinji. But they were happy that they also, agreed willingly. As they left kisuske's shop, the three of them headed to the market to get some snacks for themselves and for their friends. "Was it just me or was kisuke bipolar." Asked keigo.
While strolling the down the aisles of the market looking to see what was good. "Actually my honey and I noticed it too. Right honey?" asked shinji as looked to Hannah. "Yea, it seemed weird. But still we have everything we need to form a band." she said with a smile. Hannah looked at the shelves, until one item caught her eye. "Hey honey why don't we get this?" she said holding a box of pocky. "That's a great idea honey!" he said happily glomping on her, and burying his face in to her chest.
She blushed deeply as keigo went ahead to pay for the snacks. Shinji and Hannah caught up to him. Then went home, by the time they got back they saw everyone was still there and renji was seen napping on the couch with a can of empty soda in his hand. "Why is renji acting like he's drunk?" asked Hannah as she was setting down the snacks on the coffee table. "When he got back from the soul society he took a can of soda tanked it. And he was out like a light" said Natalie. "Ha-ha that would have been priceless to see." Said keigo. Shinji was in the kitchen taking care of some dishes, as Hannah came by and hugged him from behind.
As he was blushing more he turned around and kissed her. After taking care of minor house chores, they headed to the living room and started to work on their next coming songs. "So what song shall we write?" asked orihime. "I was thinking something more upbeat and happy" said kon. "Or we could do a love song" Cassandra said winking and cuddling kon. He's blush was so noticeable he got embarrassed and hid in Cassandra's chest.
"Awww you guys are just too cute." Said rukia giggling. "Hehe thanks sis" said kon smiling as he got of his girlfriend's chest. "I got an idea" said ichigo "what is it ichigo" everyone said looking at him. "How about we do a song about we will always keep trying no matter what life throws at us" ichigo said pitching an idea. "That actually sounds good" said Hannah. Everyone liked ichigo's suggestion as they find lyrics to go with it. Three hours later they came up with the title and lyrics and tried it person had a song sheet with their instruments. Before they started rukia, woke up her boyfriend renji. When renji fell off the bed everyone resisted the urge to laugh. Rukia handed him his copy of the song and they started performing.

"That was perfect everyone. Splendid work" Hannah said happily. Everyone was happy that they were being productive and got a lot done. To keep the good work going they decided to work on another song, to perform at the next event that their publicist will schedule. "What other themed song should we do" asked Tatsuki. "Maybe a break up song? I don't know" said mizuho as she wasn't really too sure. "We could try that, but none of us had any break ups or hardships recently" said shinji. "It doesn't have to be about us. It can be about something else" said mizurio. "That's true. So shall we give it a try?" asked Hannah. Everyone nodded in agreement and tried it out. About another four minutes later they had successfully finished another song. And tried it out. Again each person had their copy and they started singing.

"Excellent work everyone. We successfully finished two songs in one day. I say we celebrate." Said shinji with a huge smile on his face. Everyone agreed to the idea, "how about we go out to dinner. And we all chip in?" suggested Natalie. "That's a great idea Natalie" said Hannah. They cleaned up their area. As shinji and Hannah got ready. Once they reunited with the others. They headed out to the door and enter the van that ichigo drove to Hannah and shinji's ichigo drove everyone sat in the back cursing and talking. Natalie sat next to ichigo as she turned on the radio. The song that every knew which was "payphone" by maroon five was playing and they all sang along to it. As it was already six o'clock they headed to genki sushi and each of them got their favorite foods. And as all couples do they fed each other their food. Everyone around them it was so cute and romantic. Such young adults having a good time and living life to the fullest.
