Chapter 9: Behind The Scenes Of Club LOL
At the dark cave, Teb was very disappointed that his two followers died. He looked at his cauldron and saw an image of Phantom Angel and Serena. His eyes were starting to glow with fury and focused on Serena. And finally, his eyes were focused on Phantom Angel.
"Phantom Angel, who are you exactly?" Teb asked to himself. "Where exactly are you? Once I will find you, I will find that guardian Serena and get her for this!"
"Pardon me, milord, do I come in a bad timing?" one of his followers asked.
Teb quickly turned around and asked, "What is it you want, Siren?"
"All I want is another chance, milord, to invade StarLily once again!" Siren replied.
"Fine, do as you wish...but you're going to regret it if you're going to get kill off by Phantom Angel. And you'll be facing the same fate as Amethyst and Black Krow. Got that?"
"Whatever you say, milord, and I thank you."
After Siren disappeared, Teb was still glaring at the image of Serena. Then, he wondered to himself and said, "I wonder where you are now, Serena...since your temple was completely destroyed once and for all!"
At the town of StarLily, Vicki and the others went to Club LOL in the evening. They heard a loud, beat music coming from the DJ's turntable. The animals, inside of the club, were dancing while they were listening to the beat. Even the pink axolotl named Dr. Shrunk was dancing to the rhythm. Nick and Serenity were dancing together when Vicki was dancing in solo and blended in with the crowd.
"Dude, DJ KK is amazing with the record beats, yo yo yo!" said Renee, the rhino.
"I agree, my muscles are pumping up with all this dancing moves, flexin'!" said Leonardo, the tiger.
Suddenly, Sammy and Jimmy entered Club LOL and listened to the music. Sammy pushed Dr. Shrunk aside while Jimmy was laughing at that animal. Dr. Shrunk moved a few steps away from them and continued to dance. And then, they pushed the dancing pair aside.
"Excuse me, lovebirds, move along!" said Sammy. While Nick and Serenity moved away from the twin brothers, Sammy and Jimmy were about to show them some moves. "It's time to demonstrate some of our dancing moves!"
"Yeah, let's show them, Sammy!" said Jimmy.
"Oh great, this I got to see," said Vicki sarcastically, as she was looking at the Slapjack twins.
"No talking!" said Sammy, pointing at Vicki. "Just watch!"
Sammy and Jimmy were starting to dance in a very odd way. Vicki, Nick, Serenity, and some of the animals were watching them. They thought that the Slapjacks' dancing moves were very silly or not so great. Sammy did the jump and flip technique, but he jumped and fell to the floor instead. Jimmy tried to do the one hand stand with his feet high up in the air, but he tumbled down and landed on Sammy. Everyone started to laugh at them out loud after they saw their strange dancing moves.
"Nice dancing moves, boys," said Vicki, clapping her hands. "You guys are keeping it reel big time."
"Oh yeah..." Nick grinned in an odd way.
"So, we goofed off on the last part, but it wasn't part of our dancing moves!" said Sammy.
"Yeah, we'll be back here tomorrow, you'll wait and see," said Jimmy.
"Oh, we'll see about that," said Vicki, rolling her eyes when the Slapjack twins left the club and went home.
The next day, Dr. Shrunk cleaned the floor with the broom and the mop. He even cleaned the chairs and the stage inside of the club. Until suddenly, he heard a noise somewhere inside of Club LOL. He looked around to see of where the noise was coming from.
"Hello, is anyone here?" Dr. Shrunk asked, waiting for someone to reply. Few minutes later, there was no response so he shrugged and continued to clean. "I guess I must be hearing things..."
While Dr. Shrunk was still cleaning, Siren appeared on top of the ceiling. She was sitting and watching him doing his job; and then, she snickered. Finally, she quickly disappeared from the ceiling.
Later in the evening, Vicki and the others had arrived at Club LOL. When they were inside, they saw Sammy and Jimmy were doing some silly dance moves again. The animals were only paying attention to DJ KK and not the Slapjack brothers. While they were dancing and listening to the music at the same time, nobody noticed that Siren was there at the ceiling watching them. So, she quickly sneaked up to the settings and cut one of the ropes down.
DJ KK was still playing around with the DJ's turntable. Everyone was starting to cheer and shout for joy. It didn't last long until something fell from the ceiling. It was the sandbag that fell to the stage floor. Luckily, DJ KK didn't get hit by it, he avoided it instead. Everyone stopped cheering and find out of who's doing that, but there's no one on top of the ceiling at that moment. While the music and the cheering started again, Vicki looked at the ceiling again and saw who it was that started the "sandbag incident." She spotted Siren who was heading to the different location.
While DJ KK continued playing those upbeat music and everyone continued to dance and listen to the music, Dr. Shrunk started to climb up the stairs to the ceiling to see if someone's up there. He walked very carefully and slowly on the platform without falling and held on to the rails. Suddenly, Siren was behind him and gave him the chills. When Dr. Shrunk noticed her from behind, he quickly tried to get away from her in hesitation. But she immediately caught him, started to tie him up and hang him in front of everyone on the stage.
Everyone started to scream after Siren threw Dr. Shrunk and hung him on the stage. DJ KK was terrified that he fell to the stage floor. Sammy and Jimmy stopped dancing and began to scream while they saw Dr. Shrunk who was now unconscious. Vicki, Nick, and Serenity rushed to Dr. Shrunk to untie him and got him down.
"Attention everyone, you must leave Club LOL and hurry!" Vicki announced, after she saw Siren heading to the backstage.
The animals rushed to the exit as fast as they could, including Sammy and Jimmy. Even DJ KK left Club LOL, Vicki and the others took Dr. Shrunk and got him out of there. Vicki told Nick and Serenity to take him to the hospital while she would take care of Siren at the club. They both agreed and took him to the hospital. Vicki looked around to see if nobody's here before she transformed into Phantom Angel.
Phantom Angel entered Club LOL as she opened the door. She looked around to see if Siren's nearby. Suddenly, the door closed by itself, and the spotlight was automatically on and turned directly at her. She knew that this was all Siren's doing.
"Well, well, if it isn't Phantom Angel, it's good to see you again," said Siren, walking to the stage.
Phantom Angel glared at her and said, "I wasn't expecting you to show up in the place like this! You started to frighten everyone, in the club, by killing off Dr. Shrunk! And I believe that is the most disgusting thing you ever did!"
"Ha! So, I ruined the fun AND the show, big deal! Since nobody's here, why don't we have a little fun?"
"What are you planning to do now, Siren?"
"Why don't you listen to my upbeat music? Now, shall we?"
Siren's electric guitar appeared right in front of her. She started playing with it and the sound waves knocked Phantom Angel to the wall. She tried to move away from the wall, but Siren's sound waves were weighing her down like magnet. Then, Siren played another tune, and it sent Phantom Angel to the ceiling this time. She almost hit her head on one or two spotlights.
"Ha ha ha, I see that you're enjoying my music, hmm?" said Siren, as she continued playing her guitar.
"Siren, I've had enough of your dreadful music of gravitation!" Phantom Angel shouted, as she tried to pull away from the ceiling.
"Good! You can settle down now."
After Siren played in a low key, it made Phantom Angel falling to the dance floor. She used her wings to fly and land safely, but they're somehow immobilized.
"Oh no, what's wrong with my wings?" Phantom Angel asked anxiously. "I can't fly and I'm falling really fast!"
"Thanks to my music rhythm, your precious angel wings won't be able to save you this time!" Siren replied. "And you're about to crash to the floor!"
Phantom Angel growled. "Siren, you're not going to get away from this!" She immediately took out the star compact before she slammed to the floor. "Angelic mirror reversal flash!"
When the star compact flashed the whole club, Phantom Angel's wings finally moved again and slowly flew to the floor. Her feet landed on the floor safe and sound. Siren wouldn't believe her eyes that she used her guitar to strike Phantom Angel down.
"Angelic boomerang!" Phantom Angel shouted, as her boomerang destroyed Siren's guitar.
"No, there goes my instrument!" Siren exclaimed, as she was looking at her damaged electric guitar.
Finally, Phantom Angel used her guardian staff to eliminate Siren and shouted, "Guardian light obliteration!"
After Siren was banished forever, Phantom Angel looked around the club to see any damage. If she spotted one, she could fix it in no time. Few moments later, she was very curious about something. Then, Serena appeared right in front of her.
"Hey Phantom Angel, what's on your mind?" Serena asked.
"Oh Serena, I was thinking about something..." Phantom Angel replied.
Serena blinked her eyes all of the sudden. "Oh really? Like what?"
One hour later, Club LOL was back in business. The animals went to the club and some of them came back. Even Sammy and Jimmy came back and started dancing with the excitement along with the animals. Few minutes later, Nick and Serenity had returned to Club LOL after they sent Dr. Shrunk to the hospital. To their surprise, they saw Phantom Angel singing a song on stage while DJ KK turned up the music with his DJ's turntable.
"Oh my goodness, I don't believe my eyes!" said Nick. "Is this for real?"
"It sure is!" Serenity replied. "I've never seen the crowd this big before!"
"Yeah, and I've never seen Club LOL becoming the full house before as well!"
"Psst, Nick, Serenity, over here!" Serena whispered, hiding one of the chairs.
Nick and Serenity looked around to make sure that nobody's looking. They went to the chairs where Serena was hiding, knelt down, and looked at her.
"Hey Serena, what's up?" Nick whispered.
"Guys, I think there's something you should know," Serena whispered to Nick and Serenity, as she started to explain everything to them.
"Oh wow, that is so cool!" Serenity exclaimed, as she tried to lower her voice, but she couldn't help it. "Phantom Angel saved not only the show, but she saved Club LOL from Siren!"
"Yeah, I'd say leave this to the chosen hero!" said Nick. "Siren may have ruined the show and Club LOL, but Phantom Angel saved the day!"
"That's right! After Siren was gone forever, Phantom Angel started to perform the song for just one night at Club LOL."
After Phantom Angel's song ended and the music stopped, everyone gave a round of applause. Some animals threw roses at her while she was waving at them. Then, one of the animals asked her if she could sing another song; and her answer was she would love to do that. As the music began, Phantom Angel sang another song to the audience. While everybody was dancing and listening to the music, Nick and Serenity joined them and watched Phantom Angel's performance.
Isabelle and Lottie arrived at Club LOL in a nick of time. Isabelle brought her camera to take a picture of Phantom Angel; and Lottie recorded the video of her performance, at Club LOL, with her cell phone. They both smiled and nodded at the same time. And everybody, in the club, had a wonderful time as if the night never ends...
