Chapter 10: The Two Villages

Impmon, Digital World

As soon as I said we were stuck, the group went ballistic. Luckily not on me, but on each other.

Ally was wailing, moaning about her 'Prada bags' and never seeing them again. PJ was using his phone and trying to get a reception but with no luck as he chucked the phone across the desert. Katrina was trying to get Cam to calm down as he was up in Luke's face; who was about a few seconds from attacking Cam. Bakemon was arguing with Agumon, and it seemed only Marianna and Tiguramon were not freaking out but staring at our group, upset.

I had never seen a team of Tamers go at each other's throat so quickly.

I looked around. We were in a desert level with endless plains of sand and scorching heat hitting us. I felt hot already and we just came into the world. I closed my eyes and started to think. Takato has been in this world a few times now and probably knows what he has to do. Since he's got that portal maker, he can get home safe with Jeri. However, that ADA guard...where did he go? Did he teleport with Takato and Jeri or did he get lost in-between. I know for sure he isn't here because it was just us. I was interrupted from my thoughts when Tiguramon and Marianna came over to meet up with me. Being back as my digimon self, I had to look up at both of them now since they were now taller than me.

"So, what do we do now?" Marianna said looking around and placing a hand on her eyes to shield herself from the sudden brightness. Tiguramon sat down beside her and I sighed.

"Well, we were gunna use that gadget to get us back to Japan. But clearly, that didn't work out. So...I have no freakin' idea." I scowled crossing my arms. "And Takato and Jeri are on their own. Figures."

"It is not helping worrying about that now." Tiguramon said calmly. "Takato has been in the Digital World a few times, yes? Well, he will know what to do. I would worry more about our group."

The three of us looked at our frantic group again. Cam and Luke were swinging fists and their digimon were trying to pull both of them off. Ally and PJ were sitting down shaking beyond belief, looking at the world around them. Katrina and Bowmon were wandering around.

"Some Tamer group this is." I muttered. I knew my group back home was a little rough around the edges at first but at least they seemed like they had their shit together. These guys just act like Ai and Mako when they were younger. Ugh...why me?

I walked over to Ally and PJ. Those two had no digimon with them and never been here. I had to roll out the welcome mat.

"Impmon...I'm totally lost here. There...is no signal-" Ally said slowly, putting her cell phone in the air-but I cut her off.

"We're in the digital world. This is the desert level. A you and PJ have to be careful here since ya don't have a digimon."

PJ stood up and cross his arms. Even though he was still the shortest in the group, the red haired teen was taller than me. "We can take care of ourselves. We don't need a digimon."

"Trust me, being stuck here without one ain't fun. There are alotta of things here that want to hurt you. It doesn't help that on the way over with Takato the giant dragon was mentioning some kind of disturbance here."

"A disturbance?" Ally asked. "Like bad digimon?"

I rolled my eyes. The stupidity was going to make me vomit.

"Yes shorty, bad digimon. Not just annoying ones like discount Casper." I jerked a thumb over to the white ghost Digimon. "But you guys need to get your act together. Especially you two meat heads!" I screamed over at the guys who were still fighting. In seconds they split apart, giving each other glares.

Luke finally came in to meet with our group. "So, we need to work together to get out of here then, right?"

"Pft, sure let's just dial a speedy and drive off into the sunset." Cam chimed in, rolling his eyes.

"Cam, he's right. We have to work together." Agumon retorted. The meat head replied saying he could take on anything in his way.

"Last time I checked, Cam," Ally began. "Tiguramon and Bakemon were the strongest here since one is a champion level and Tiguramon can change into Jaguramon. I would keep your stupid mouth shut."

"Guys, this is going to end up like those movies where everyone splits up and half of us die." PJ cried clutching a fistful of red hair.

I whizzed around. So he was the one who gave Lindy those paranoid ideas like that...Huh, that explained a lot.

The sand beneath the our feet started to rumble and shake. I felt the tingling sensation a digimon was very close and shouted to move back. The sand in front of us rose high like bread baking then broke apart. A digimon creature came out. What the hell was that thing? It was like a worm but with spikes all over it and metal mask over its head. Nothing I've ever seen before...

"Yo! Anyone got info on this guy?" Luke yelled while commanding Bakemon to send out an attack. Marianna yelled out as I threw a flame at the digimon. Surprise, it did nothing. Awesome.

"Metalwormamon! Ultimate, special attack Metal Quills! Ew, it looks so gross."

"Not all digimon are stuffed animals!" I hollered before retreating backwards. A few rookies and a champion were not going to do much. When Cam stood his ground against the digimon, I inwardly groaned. That idiot!

"Yo! What do ya think you're doin'?!" I shouted but he didn't hear me. Why was he so God damn stupid!? Without thinking, I pushed Cam out of the way and gripped on the metal thorns that were sprouting out from Metalwormmon. I gasped when the digimon was diving underground and I held my breath. Clumps of dirt hit me and I felt us starting to go up again. I ran along the digimon as soon as we broke the ground and threw a flame at it's head.

Nothing was working. I jumped back down and watch the group dive out of the way from another tackle from the ultimate. I landed beside Cam who was getting sand out of his jacket. He looked like he was in one piece.

"This doesn't change a thing, you know that."

I didn't reply.

"Ok, I'm going to suggest we run!" PJ shouted as he sprinted away from Metalwormmon. I growled, as much as I hate to retreat, we had no other choice. Our group made a break for it to the nearby jungle. Maybe if we get off the sand, it will stop following us.

It was pure luck that we made it into the jungle without much trouble. We jogged further into the jungle until Marianna shouted that we should be safe. Everyone stopped to catch their breath. I jumped up to a tree and scanned the area. I saw some rustle further ahead into the jungle. Narrowing my eyes, I drew a flame. Of course something else was here! I turned around and shouted something at the group but I felt something hit the back of my head and everything went black.

"Wake up."

The voice was new to me. It sounded female and almost like...Renamon's voice? I started to remember that I was in the digital world and the Canadian Tamers were probably in trouble. I opened my eyes to find several Renamon crowding around me with special amour over their tails and feet. I felt restraints on my arms and I groaned. I was captured. Finding my voice, I spoke but felt uncomfortable that it came out in a groan.

"Where am I?"

The one Renamon had darker purple gloves and talked in a louder voice. In her paws was a spear. She bashed it on the ground narrowing her eyes at me.

"You shall not speak unless you are called upon to speak. You shall not meet or see any of your companions until our leader gives you permission and you must address the leader as 'Mistress'. She is a very important digimon in this world."

I laughed. This was rich, a snotty nosed Renamon is telling me what to do? I don't think so, not while I'm still alive.

"Yea, I got a problem with that foxy-I don't shut my mouth unless I want to-" I felt a diamond shard whiz past my barbed tail. I growled.

"How dare you use this profound language in our presence! Bite your tongue." cried one to the left but I stuck out my tongue.

"Up yours!"

"We shall take him to our leader right now. She shall give us permission to kill this pathetic creature." The Renamon on the left kicked me over. I twisted around angry.

"Hey, who ya callin' pathetic? I'm not the one runnin' around like a stupid pet slave!"

I was greeted by more diamond shards which whizzed past me and pinned my red gloves to the bamboo wall behind me. I knocked my head back and felt dizzy from the impact. I looked around to find myself in a hut. A few pieces of furniture were tucked in a corner and the walls were decorated with various cloths and tapestries. Two Renamon were on both sides of me and one that talked to me first was in front. They were talking among each other while I was trying to find a way out. I had to be careful. These digimon were pretty smart to take me out that easily. My luck wasn't getting any better since getting to this world.

The shackles that held me up came undone and I dropped to the floor on my hands and knees. I stood up and looked behind me to find one of them having a spear to my head while another spear was in front me. I wanted to attack now but I was out numbered. They started to lead me to another room.

The next room was decorated as a throne room. There was gold decorating the walls, and various jewels covering the treasures held at the front of the room. I was a little amazed at how much stuff was here. There was a gold chair decorated with diamonds and jewels at the front with a Renamon sitting at it. She was wearing a deep blue robe with gold trim and a mask covered her fox face. A staff was placed in her lap and two guard Renamons were at her side. This must be the head honcho I thought glaring at her. Two ice blue eyes met me in return.

"Mistress! We brought you the leader of that group." One of the guards dragging me in spoke and made a bow. I scoffed.

"Woah! Leader?" I asked weakly and laughed. "Hah! I am the best looking out of everyone but-"

"Silence, you scum." The Renamon in the throne said coldly and stood up. She spoke again, but with a softer tone.

"Impmon, I have ears all over the digital world and there is a soft whisper spoken of two half digimon and half humans. A hybrid they call them. I have news that both of their digimon forms was Impmon," I didn't dare look at her but twitched my ears out of instinct. She gave me a careful look, "Could you be the one? Answer this and we will show you your friends." With a simple tap of her staff on the ground, a tapestry with gold thread lifted showing the Tamers tied up and looking at me with fear in their eyes. I looked in and saw Luke, Ally, PJ and Marianna. Although, Cam, Agumon, Katrina, Bowmon, Tiguramon, and Bakemon were missing. Where were the others?

"Impmon get us out of here!" PJ called but was kicked back by one of the Renamon. I growled feeling my fur stand on end.

"Where are the others?"

"What others? We only found these humans. Answer my question." The leader Renamon sat down, crossed her leg over the other.

"I dunno what ya talkin' about foxy. Never heard of a half digimon half human." I couldn't let these guys know about me. Digimon hating humans is a very real thing and a hybrid like myself would be at the top of 'to kill' list. I saw the 'Mistress' frown and spoke in slight anger.

"There is a deep sent of human on you. Don't think I haven't noticed." I shook my head and sniffed my arm. God dammit I thought angrily, she was right. I growled and lunged forward but the spears blocked me and I was held back. The Renamon in the throne laughed harshly.

"I will take that as a yes. Curious...how a thing like you came to be," she let her chin rest on her paw. "We are not here to kill you, although we are in a dilemma of our own. You see there is a Gabumon tribe over on the other side of the jungle and they stole my precious gem stone. They stole it and we are forced to fight for it back. However, they are cowards. We are going to use you and the humans to help us. They also hate humans as well and would love to capture them. Besides, I think you would like to look for your 'other friends' do you not?"

I didn't see much of a choice. Either say no and probably die, or agree and buy some time to figure out how to get the group out and away from this crazed Renamon village. I agreed but pointed a finger at the mistress Renamon.

"But ya gotta promise that you'll will let these guys go." I smirked thinking of my mega form. "Or else ya'll be facin' a pissed off me in my Mega form." I grinned and with my fangs and red eyes I flashed, I heard a gasp from the guards. Marianna hollered.

"Yeah! Beelzemon isn't someone to mess with!"

"Let them go." The 'Mistress' nodded to the guards and they untied the others and walked over to me. "You shall accompany with me for supper and get prepared for tomorrow's battle against the Gabumon." Behind the mask, I could tell she wasn't phased by my little show but I did make her tense. That was all I needed to do for now.

Our group walked down the narrow hallways and I realized we were in some kind of temple. Various markings decorated the hallways and guards of Renamon were stationed motionless. I was lead into a room with a king sized bed and large pillows. This is how a prisoner is treated? They have messed up priorities I thought and in a few moments I saw PJ open the door.

"Impmon, meet us in Ally's room. We have to talk". PJ muttered before leaving and closing the door. After a few minutes of looking around, I started to walk to the far door on the right and opened it to find everyone in the room looking at their D-Arks expect Ally and PJ. I sighed seeing everyone was not hurt.

"So, what's up?" I asked walking in and Marianna showed her baby blue D-Ark to me.

"I can't get a hold of Tiguramon and neither can anyone else. I'm worried about her."

"Before, we got some kind of a message from Bakemon but he was suddenly cut off. We got it saved as a recording though." Luke smirked and held up his D-Ark and played the video with Bakemon's view.

"Where is Luke? I miss him."

"We must have been ambushed. This looks like some kind of cell." Agumon chimed.

"My head hurts a lot." Katrina said, looking at Bakemon. Bowmon was whispering something into her ear but Cam was the loudest.

"Hey you assholes, let us out! I'm gunna hand out a huge can of whoop ass when I see your coward faces!"

Everything went black and I saw Luke and Marianna give each other a look. Ally hugged Marianna comforting her while PJ said we should try to escape. Luke looked at me.

"Could you change into Beelzemon? You did that thing with your eyes..."

I shook my head. "That's just for show. I probably couldn't do that again even if I tried. Trust me, if I could have changed I would have done that awhile ago. I'm going to take a wild guess that one of the Renamon knocked me out and captured us."

Marianna nodded and explained that after I was knocked out everyone got separated from the chaos of the Renamon. I learned that they were tied up and put into a cage while I was kept out until I woke up.

"We should go to that dinner thing." Luke suggested and we all agreed. If not, they probably would have dragged our butts over there anyway. As we walked, the guards were waiting respectively at the doors and lead the us through a hallway and some stairs. Finally we were at a huge table with the leader at the end.

"Enjoy the meal humans and Impmon." She said before taking a seat. I sat down uneasily beside Ally and Luke and took some of the food. I wasn't too hungry though as I felt uneasy around this Renamon.

I had a feeling the digital world would find out about hybrids. That kind of talk doesn't really go quiet. Just as many humans hate digimon, the same goes the other way. Look at bird fire brain, he hated humans so much he was willing to make me kill kids! I really hate to see what a sicko digimon wanted to do to a hybrid like me if they ever found out...

The meal was dull other than the leader or as she wanted be called 'Mistress' explaining the background of the Gabumon. A long time ago they were friends but they got into a huge fight on their faith and now their against each other taking stuff from one another. I didn't listen really, I was trying to figure out how to escape during the battle tomorrow. The Renamon would be too busy to keep us in line.

After dinner, Ally hung back to me and apologized for Cam's behavior. I shrugged saying he's a jerk anyways but she sighed.

"I will try to talk some sense into Cam, after all he is my cousin."

"Woah! Back up, Cam is your cousin?" The small teen nodded and gave a smile.

"Yea, he's my dumbass cousin and we have nothing in common. He's a jerk."

"Ya know," I remarked. "I would have never guessed you two came from the same family."

Ally shrugged. "My parents passed away when I younger and my uncle took me in. Family can suck sometimes but I'm glad I don't live in an orphanage. But, don't tell everyone that okay?"

"Uh, sure, whatever." I replied and left to my room.

The next day arrived where we would attack the Gabumon village. The Tamers had little idea on fighting. They were given spears but I told them that as soon as the battle started, we try to get past everything and make our escape.

"What if those Renamon find out?" PJ asked, sweating through a helmet one of the Renamon threw at him. It barely fit him and he couldn't see properly. I shook my head.

"Really unlikely kid. And take that damn helmet off. Freakin' look like toy solider."

I noticed everyone was nervous as we travelled through the forest squished between some Renamon. I tried lightening up the mood but apparently, joking about dying earns you a good smack from a shield and a few death threats. These mon should lighten up I thought looking around. I looked and saw PJ upchucking in the forest. Wishing I had not seen that, I stuck to Marianna who had a frown etched on her face. I noticed she was walking very close to Luke and was holding hands. I wanted to make a jab at their relationship but I held it. It probably wasn't worth the hassle.

"We are near the village of the Gabumon." A guard announced stopped several feet in front of me.

We came to a clearing where a swamp area greeted us. Several planks of wood were all over the place making bridges, houses and odd pathways. Bamboo sticks with wood held the village huts high above the gross swamp bog looking very unsteady. I saw it looked more simpler than Renamon's temple village and had more of an organic feel. The largest hut was in the centre and looked to be two stories high. I assumed was their 'leader' lived.

Looking closer, I saw a Gabumon in a wooden mask. Several more were posted on corners of bridges having planks of wood and twine wrapped around their bodies. Two of the bridges were occupied but some Renamon running in but I knew that we could not make our escape yet. Plus, I could feel some other Digimon inside the village. Could they be the others?

"DIAMOND STORM!" A few Renamon called out and attacked a few huts. With that and a few war cries, the Renamon stormed into the village while we ran with them. I took a sharp left and ran into a unoccupied hut that was damaged from the initial attack. Shouts and more war cries came from the Gabumon and I sighed.

"And there goes the cavalry."

I got Luke and Marianna inside while PJ was lost on me. Ally was not seen either. Cursing, I asked the love birds where they went. They told me once the shit hit the fan-they couldn't find anyone. I growled.

"I sense the others including Tiguramon and Bakemon in that centre hut. We have to make it over there. Let's go."

We travelled carefully through the bridges and huts, using them as a cover from the Gabumon's attacks. Setting a few Gabumon on fire, we scurried into a hut we had to go into. I prepared another attack.

"Get ready guys." I commanded. Slowly, we entered the hut and saw several shattered pots and cloths ripped to pieces. No one was present but something was off to me. I then felt someone jump on my back and fell to the floor. The Gabumon were ambushing us! I heard Luke scream Marianna's name and kick a Gabumon off her. I took care of the three Gabumon quickly and asked if the duo were alight. Before they could respond, several more Gabumon stormed in. I lit several flames and told the two to make a break for it. I would hold them off for now.

"Go! I got this!"

Gabumon Village

"Where do we go now?" I asked loudly, the sound of the battle was going to make me deaf. Luke grabbed my hand firmly.

"This way." He muttered and went across the bridge. Inside, we looked behind and found that no one was following us to our relief. Inside the larger hut, we found it had a few large room and a staircase to the left. As soon as we did, footsteps thudded from ahead of us. I clutched my spear ready to fight. I looked at Luke and nodded my head.

Several Gabumon emerged from the staircase and had daggers, and swords. Luke growled and took a jab at them with a spear. Nervous but letting my anger get the better of me, I slashed one to its death. The battle was short, and we had almost killed the last Gabumon however, a dagger whizzed past and impaled into my right leg. Looking down and screaming I staggered holding the wall for support. Tears poured from my eyes as I swore in Spanish and cried for Luke.

I saw Luke become unnaturally angry at the sight of me. Enraged, he killed the last one with a wrath I had never seen before. I was actually a little scared of him but I was going to start slipping into shock soon. I breathed heavily trying to bite back my tears. I had never been hurt like this before. Trying to play it off, I limped towards him up the last step of stairs.

"Ow, I'm okay Luke." I tried to speak but he hushed me.

"No your not. C'mon we have to get help."

PJ came up the stairs holding a shield and having a pale expression planted on his face. I wonder how many Gabumon he killed I wondered sadly. This was a little messed up, I'm for fighting to protect others I love but fighting just for a stupid jewel? It wasn't right and worst of all was that we were all forced to fight.

Luke commanded PJ to go get help and I watch PJ speed off back down the stairs. Maybe he can find Impmon. That guy can take care of himself but the thought of leaving him back there made me feel a little guilty. I slumped on the ground breathing heavily.

"Marianna!" Luke cried holding me. "Stay strong babe. We are going to get you out."

"Luke," I smiled feeling light headed. "Don't leave me ok?"

"Never." He replied firmly.

Gabumon Village

"Hey Impmon! Up here!"

I saw PJ waving his arms wildly in the bridge above me. "Marianna's been stabbed!" I told him to find Ally and have them meet Marianna and Luke up there while I ran away. PJ protested saying Marianna needed my help but I disagreed.

"We still have to find the others PJ!" I hollered back.

I sped through some Gabumon and saw an adjacent hut to where Marianna and Luke were stationed. Stepping inside, I could sense everyone else here but was thrown across the room by someone. I stood up on my feet throwing a flame when I saw it was Cam. He held up a hand.

"Woah! Sorry! I thought you were a Renamon!"

"Impmon!" Katrina cried throwing her arms around me. In shock I let her finish the hug without much to say. She had some tears in her eyes. "I'm so glad we found you. The Gabumon were holding us here to protect this jewel thing! We wanted to leave but there were guards stationed outside. Some Renamon are attacking this village!"

"That was us! They forced us to fight with them." I spoke and looked around. It was a more elaborate hut with a chair decorated with some twine and leaves. Beneath the chair was a chest with what I would guess was what the Renamon tribe was after. I saw Agumon, Bakemon, and Tiguramon run towards me asking about everyone.

"Ally and PJ are fine, but Marianna is hurt." I faced the blue and white Tiger Digimon who narrowed her amber eyes into slits.

"I will tear out the throats of whoever had done that."

"Look, we gotta go. Not that I don't love a battle as bloody as this." Bakemon explained tossing the chest into Cam's hands. "But, I need to make sure Luke is ok."

We all exit the hut where I found the others and saw that the battle was dwindling down in a way. Digital code was being absorbed by whoever was surviving and I felt a little sick to my stomach watching it. We met back up with Marianna, Luke, and PJ.

"Dammit! They're after me!" cried Cam as he started to sprint with several Gabumon hot on his trail. "I'm getting this chest out of here, Agumon help me out!" He threw the object to his partner and caused the Gabumon to follow him.

I examined the wound. It was bleeding a little but at least it wasn't leaving a gaping hole. I looked at Marianna who was getting paler by the second. I asked how she was doing.

"Give me a few shots of vodka and I'll be great." I laughed weakly at her stupid joke and told her she had the right attitude. Snorting, she mentioned that she learned from a certain purple imp.

"Marianna climb on my back." Tiguramon ordered her Tamer. "No objections. I will carry you."

From below, I saw Cam running with Agumon without the chest, and I assumed they took care of it. The Gabumon were not following them anymore. We all made a break for it to escape the Gabumon village. Marianna holding on to Tiguramon tightly. I could hear her sobbing in pain from the bouncing of Tiguramon. Luke's eyes were puffy red. No one really blamed him because Marianna was getting paler by the second and they saw blood running down her leg where the knife was still impaled in. The blood was getting on Tiguramon's fur coat but she didn't mind.

"Is that everyone?" Asked Katrina with concern. I frowned. No, that wasn't. We were still missing Ally.

The bridge we crossed was very unstable as several attacks from both tribes broke it down. I saw it wobble unsteadily. I looked further past the bridge and there was Ally finishing off a Gabumon panting.

"ALLY!" Screamed PJ and the others joined in. She looked up and throwing her weapon away, made a break towards us. I bit my lip hoping the bridge wouldn't give in but to my luck, a Gabumon threw a last minute attack at the bridge and Ally was caught in it. She stumbled down on the ground and the bridge unwind and swayed. She tried crawling but stopped as soon as the bridge was threatening to crumble.

"Bakemon! Get Ally, that's an order!" called Luke but Bakamon protested. "I don't care Bakemon! I'm not giving up on friends like that!" I was about to charge forward but a flash of silver light sparked from Luke. Once the light stopped flashing, I saw it was like a crest with a crown symbol. Everything started to slow down as everyone saw Bakemon glow a deep black color.

CREST DIGIVOULITON ACTIVATE

"Bakemon Digivolve to…Phantomon!"

I watch Bakemon change into a larger phantom like being with dark grey cloths and a red hood concealing his face. The scythe that he held was glowing and suddenly dark bubbles wrapped around Ally holding her steady. With a motion of his scythe, Phantomon brought Ally away from the collapsing bridge and she landed in front of us panting. Others rushed to ask if she was alright but I watch Luke look at his partner with a shocked look.

"Bak-Bakemon?"

"It's Phantomon now, Luke. Don't worry, Ally is safe." He spoke, red eyes now gazing at Luke. His voice changed becoming more deeper and calmer.

"C'mon we have to go now!" cried Cam running through the forest with everyone running behind him. I glanced back at the village that was destroyed from the battle. A bitter taste entered my mouth. This was senseless fighting and a lot of mon were deleted from it. I turned on my heel and caught up with the group with ease. Casting my eyes, I spotted a cave and told everyone to go inside.

Everyone followed and walked in the cave. The smooth sound of water echoed in the cave that had the light of water bouncing off the cave walls. I watch everyone sit down, exhausted from the battle. I spotted a few herbs outside that I know can help heal a little. Tearing them out of the ground I walked back inside. Phantommon was floating silently beside Luke as he talked to Marianna softly.

"We stopped the bleeding." Luke explained as I crouched down and frowned. The tights she was wearing was torn apart and the one with the wound in her weak leg was bare and had the material wrapped around as a makeshift cloth. Stuck in the centre was the dagger. I sighed.

"Here, we gotta take it out." I grabbed the dark hilt of the dagger but Marianna protested.

"No! It will hurt more!"

I growled losing my patience . "If we leave that thing in, ya gunna die! Do ya want that?"

She sniffed and held Luke's hand and closed her eyes tightly. "Just take it out then!"

I swiftly took it out and ignored Marianna's cry of pain. I shoved half of the purple color herb to Marianna.

"Eat it. It's gunna slow down the pain." I took a piece of the blue colored leaves and chewed it in my mouth. It was a special herb that I used when I got hurt. Spiting the herb out, I mashed it into the wound explaining what it did to Luke so he wouldn't freak out on me. Marianna sniffed swallowing the herbs and complained it didn't taste good. My sarcasm shined.

"Yeah, cause it's supposed to taste like candy."

"Will she be alright?" Luke stared at me with his dark blue eyes. I shrugged.

"I dunno. I aint a doctor but she's gotta rest. Keep an eye on her."

"Impmon? Is she alright?" I saw Cam lying down on the wall looking forward and having what I thought were tears in his eyes but he blinked and they were gone. The whole experience was stressful to everyone since they never had to fight or battle like that before. Ally and PJ were curled up beside Katrina who was listening to Bowmon comfort them.

"I think so." I explained quietly lowering my head down.

We all retreated to our own section for rest. I curled up a fair way's away from the group and thought about being here in the Digital World with toots. That seemed so long ago, even longer than when I first saw her in the fall last year. Who knew I would end up falling for her? I tried to let myself sleep, dreams of meeting her replaying over and over in my mind.

Author's Note: I'm really fighting against the clock to have this updated before Digimon Tri (tomorrow). I never thought through why Tiguramon orignally was in danger, Ally was more likely to be killed in that battle hence, me changing the character's spots.
