Los Angeles:
Cedars-Sinai Hospital:
Cris had been admitted with a busted hand, broken ribs, a concussion, busted knee, and a bruised kidney. He was in pretty bad shape.
He knew that he needed to either get the money back, or try to raise it to get himself out trouble, this was all Natalie's fault, he thought.
And so he called anyone and everyone who owed him money, and told them it was time to pay up.
But he knew deep down that it wouldn't be enough. And he knew he couldn't call "Mr. C", Cris owed him money too.
Llanview—
La B:
FBI, Philly Field office, Ally speaking. How may I direct your call?
Ally, its Agent Delgado.
Hello, Ally said.
Can you get me Jed, Tomas asked?
Hang on, Ally said.
Jed, Agent Delgado is on the phone for you, Ally told her boss.
Thanks, Jed said and picked up the phone.
Tomas, Jed said.
Jed, I am requesting permission to open an investigation on Cris Vega. You should be receiving a packet with all that I have, Tomas said.
Hang on, Jed said as Ally brought a packet into him.
He looked through what Tomas had sent and had to curse. This Vega was in deeper than anyone thought.
Tomas, your request is granted. Let me know what you need and when. Also let local law enforcement know, Jed said the said goodbye.
Next Day-
Las Vegas:
Natalie had a big day planned. They would be moving on with their trip tomorrow, so she had things planned.
Morning momma, Calleigh said.
Morning mom, Cayleigh said.
Morning to you too, she said to her daughters.
You two ready to go, Natalie asked?
Yes, where are we headed first, Calleigh asked?
Breakfast silly, Natalie said with a laugh.
Calleigh and Cayleigh hadn't heard that laugh very often over the years, and they knew that it had to do with their dad.
So they went for breakfast, they then headed back up to their room to grab swim suits and towels; then they headed to Wet N Wild.
That afternoon, they went to Zoological Botanical Park. Then it was supper, a movie packing and finally bed.
Llanview:
LPD-
Bo, Tomas said.
Tomas, what's up, Bo asked?
I wanted to let you know that I have officially opened an investigation into Cristian Vega, Tomas said.
Let's start digging, Bo said.
I want to start at the beginning, Tomas said.
And so he and Bo started at when Cris was born and worked their way to the present.
Llanfair:
Mom, Nash said as he walked into Llanfair?
Yes Nash, Viki asked?
There is a small moving van pulling up outside, Nash answered.
At that Viki walked outside. She wondered why it was a small truck.
I am looking for a Viki Davidson, a Ben Davidson or a Jessica Brennan, the driver said.
I'm Viki Davidson, Viki stated, just as Jess came out of the house.
I'll lead him over to Natalie's house mom, Jess said.
Natalie's New Home:
Jess led the way to the house and directed the movers to leave everything in what was to be the living room.
As they were leaving, Viki and Ben arrived.
Where is the rest, Ben asked?
This was all the movers said was loaded in LA. The driver said that when they stared loading, that the only heavy furniture was the twins' beads, Jess stated.
Just then Cord, Kevin and Joey showed up.
Jess, I want you to make a list of what furniture is missing; then go and purchase that furniture, Viki said.
Shawn, Shannon and Kelly will help too Jess, Cord told his sister.
So Jess called her sisters in Law; told them she'd pick them up and headed out. She also picked up the money from Asa.
Philly:
Jess, Shawn, Shannon and Kelly went from store to store, purchasing furniture and arranging for its delivery to Natalie's house.
Llanfair:
Later that evening-
Ben and Viki were just waiting for the others to arrive. Viki knew how her family would react when hearing about Clint.
Asa and Renee were the first to arrive.
Has he called again, Asa asked?
No, and I'm not sure what to think, Viki said.
Ben, how are you holding up, Renee asked her son?
I'm pissed, because his calling has stirred up trouble. I thank god that Natalie isn't here yet, you know how she felt about Clint, Ben stated.
I know Ben, Renee said as Bo, Nora, David and Matthew came in.
Hi grandpa, Matthew said to Asa.
Matthew, Jess called.
Yes, Matthew asked?
We have some movies upstairs for you younger ones to watch, Jess said.
Okay, Matthew said; then he and Jess went upstairs.
Next to arrive was Kevin and Shannon. Kevin knew what this family meeting was about, Clint Buchanan.
Joey and Kelly arrived soon after with Duke.
Card, Shawn and the girls were the last to arrive.
All the teens and the younger ones went upstairs to watch movies.
After all the kids were upstairs and out of ear shot Cord asked:
Mom, what's going on?
Clint called her the other day, Viki said.
What did he want, Joey asked?
He wanted to know how Natalie and Jess were; and he wanted to see them, Viki said.
Like Hell, Cord stated.
I agree, Joey said.
Mom, he's up to something. I mean we haven't heard from him since after I was born, Jess said. So why contact us now?
You need to tell them about yours' and Tomas's investigation, Nora whispered to Bo.
I know, Bo whispered back.
Everyone I have something that I need to tell you, Bo announced.
We have opened an investigation into Cristian Vega, Bo said.
What do you know, Viki demanded?
All I can tell you is that we are looking into a few things, as well as whom he's been in contact with, Bo answered.
Later that evening:
Ring, Ring, Rii ii iii ng…
Hello, Viki said.
Mom, Natalie said.
How are you honey, Viki asked?
The girls and I are enjoying our trip east, Natalie said.
We'll be in Salt Lake tomorrow evening, Natalie told her mother.
Natalie honey, your dad and I have a question. Where is the rest of your furniture, Viki asked then she and Ben waited?
Cris took everything but what belonged to the girls, and my clothing, Natalie admitted.
How, Ben asked?
The girls were gone at school and I was at work, and when we got home everything was gone, Natalie said.
That louse, Viki said. Don't worry Natalie, your furniture has been taken care of.
Mom, Natalie said. She never wanted to take advantage of her family.
Natalie honey, Ben said. I know what you're thinking, and you can stop thinking that, you're not taking advantage of us.
