chapter 10
Ruby and sapphire were walking through the park, ruby lead sapphire to the bench that was overlooking the lake with the setting sun reflecting off of. Ruby sat down holding sapphire close, sapphire leaned her head on rubys shoulder mumbling "this is so beautiful" ruby looked down at her "you are too" sapphire blushed kissing her softly before sighing, "please tell me that we're not going to be broken apart after the summer ends" ruby looked down at her "of course not baby, we've already been together for almost a year now sapph I can't think why I would end this now" sapphire nodded smiling softly looking up when ruby picked her chin up "sapphire when we first got together i promised that i wouldn't leave you without a good reason and that i would be by your side through thick and thin until you push me away." sapphire nodded starting to tear up. Mumbling "you're too good for me" ruby shook her head "no i'm not sapph, you deserve so much more than i could ever give you sapphire" sapphire smiled softly giving ruby a soft kiss chuckling when ruby pulled her onto her and into her lap. Sapphire smiled softly leaning into ruby resting her head on the taller girls shoulder, ruby looked down at her "do you want to walk around for a little before we go?" sapphire smiled softly getting up and letting ruby grab her hand walking around with her for a while before they went back to rubys house. They just hung around for a while before they got into rubys bed, ruby turned off the light holding sapphire close to her and after being absolutely sure that sapphire was dead asleep she mumbled "i love you sapph." before tying to go to sleep herself.
