Chapter 10 – Duo?

Loren and Eddie just got their permission to be together and all they've felt was pure happiness. Nobody can ruin their mood and they determined not to let anybody to seperate them. They're gonna stick together and no one can stand on the way of their love. The celbration has been interrupted when the guest of the dinner walked up to them.

Guest: Sorry for disturbing the celbration, but you. – he pointed at Eddie. – You have a great voice. Can I talk to you for a minute?

Eddie: Thanks, but who are you?

Jake: My name is Jake Madsen and I have a company called Jake Madsen Managment. We're looking for special talented persons, like you. My quiestion is do you want to be famous?

Eddie: Me?! Of course! Yes!

Jake: Well then here's my card. Be at my office at noon tomorrow and we can talk about your future.

Eddie: I'll definitely be there.

Jake: OK. It was nice meeting you…

Eddie: Eddie Duran.

Jake: Eddie. Now I have to go. See you tomorrow Eddie.

Jake walked back into the house leaving an excited Eddie and Loren there. He grabbed his stuffs and then left.

Eddie couldn't believe what was happening to him. He hasn't just won back his love but he's got an opportunity to make his dreams come true. Ever since he started working at the restaurant his life keeps getting better and better. He met the girl of his dreams and now he has a chance to show the world his talent. After Jake left he looked at the girl he loves. He rushed over to her and picked her up. He happily spun her around and after placing her back to the ground he brought her into a kiss.

Loren: Eddie, I'm so proud of you. I knew you could make it.

Eddie: Yes, but I couldn't have made it without you. I love you so much.

Eddie snuggeled Loren closer to him and kissed the top of her head.

Loren: What do you mean? It was all you, not me.

Eddie: Yeah but ever since I met you my life keep getting better everyday. I owe you every successes I've achieved.

Loren: You don't owe me anything. You wrote that song, you sang it not me. Maybe I've helpped a little, but the hard work is all on you Eddie.

Eddie: I love you. I love you. I'm the luckiest guy on earth to call you my girl.

He leaned into a lingering kiss and wrapped his arms around her frame. Loren placed her hand Eddie's left cheek and pulled his head closer. She ran through his hair with the other and deepened the kiss. Eddie bit Loren's bottom lip asking from entrance into her mouth. Loren separeted her lips and Eddie instantly slide his tongue between them. The air became needed so they pulled away. Eddie kept giving Loren small kisses from her jawline down to her neck.

Loren: Wanna spend the night?

Eddie: I'd love to, buut…

Loren: But what?

Eddie: I don't think your dad would be happy about it.

Loren: I'm sure he doesn't mind. He just gave his permission to us being together, so why wouldn't he let you sleep here?

Eddie: Because I'm gonna sleep with you, in the same bed.

Loren: Nothing like that will happen. We're just sleeping in each other's arms. Don't you love waking up besides me?

Eddie: Oh, I do. I really do waking up to your beautiful face.

He said and pecked the tip of her nose.

Loren: So isn't it worth a try?

Eddie: OK. Let's do it.

He held her hand and interlaced their fingers together. They walked into the house only to see Nora and Trent cuddling on the couch while watching TV.

Loren: Hey mom, dad!

Eddie: Hey Mr. and Mrs. Tate!

Trent and Nora: Hi guys!

Nora: Is something wrong?

Loren: No, I just wondered if Eddie could spend the night here?

Trent: Oh I don't think…

Nora put her hand above Trent's and gently whispered.

Nora: Trent. - She then turned back to them telling them her decision. - Of course he can! Does he have cloths to sleep in?

Loren: Yes. He's left some in my closet from earlier.

Nora: OK.

Loren: Well thank you guys! Good night!

T&N: Good night!

Loren took a hold on Eddie's hand and literally dragged him upstairs. Once they reached her room, Loren made sure to lock the door and pushed Eddie on the bed. She climbed on the top of him and kissed him with full passion. They got into a hot make out session and now Loren's tugging the hem of Eddie's shirt while his hands rubbing her back under her shirt. As the kiss heated up Eddie knew he had to pull before they would do something they'll regret later.

Eddie: Lo… Lo… slow down.

Loren: Sorry I have just caught up in the moment.

Eddie: No problem.

Loren than stood up and walked into her closet. She couldn't make eye contact with him after this. She knew how she felt about him. She loves him with all her heart and wants to give herself to him completely and she thought he wants the same, but it seems like she was wrong.

Eddie noticed Loren's weird behaviour so he went after her. He stopped at the door of her walk in closet and crossing his arms he just watched her packing her stuffs. The entire time he was watching her she's been trying the fight back her tears, but she didn't succedd. Tiny tears began flowing down on her cheeks. Eddie wanted to hug her from behind, but she instantly flinched as he touched her.

Eddie: Lo what's the problem?

Loren: Nothing! I'm fine.

Eddie: Yeah, you seem to be fine. Lo just tell me what's wrong?

She slowly turned around and Eddie cupped her cheeks with both his hands.

Loren: Eddie you don't want me? – Whispering.

Eddie: What?! Why would you say that?

Loren: Cause you didn't want to sleep with me. It said to me that you don't want me.

Eddie: Of course I want you silly. I love you with every fiber of my being. And the reason of me pulling earlier is not that I don't want you. It's just that I don't want rush things with you. I don't want you to do something you'll regret later. I want our first time to be special. It will happen when the time comes OK?

Loren: OK. So do you find me attractive?

Eddie: Course I find you attractive. You are the sexiest woman I've ever seen. – He said slowly leaning in conecting his lips to hers. – Now go take a shower! I'll get your bed ready.

Loren's lips turned into a smile and she gave him one more peck before walking into the bathroom. While she's been there Eddie as he told got the bed ready and get some night cloths from the closet. He changed into a gray muscle shirt and brown sweatpants. He climbed into the bed and waited for Loren to come out. He's tried to stay awake but he has a rough behind him and he needs to get some rest if he want to give a good first impression. Meanwhile Loren has come out of the bathroom and noticed that Eddie had already fallen asleep. She tiptoed to the bed and quitely slide in next to him. Eddie seemed to be dreaming about her cause his arms wrapped around her waist and he pulled her closer.

Next morning

Eddie woke up early cause he was nervous about his meeting with Jake, but when he had woken up his eyes were greeted by a beautiful Loren. This immidiately made his lips turn into a smile and he just watch Loren sleeping peacfully while he stroked her cheek. After a few minutes her eyes fluttered open.

Loren: Good morning!

Eddie: Good morning beautiful!

Loren: How long have you been watching me?

Eddie: Just a few minutes. But I've been up for an hour now.

Loren: Why didn't you sleep?

Eddie: I can't. I'm nervous about today.

Loren: Ohh Eddie. You're gonna be great! You have great talent and Jake will see that too.

Eddie: Do you think so?

Loren: I know so. - Now she was the one who cupped Eddie's cheek and ran through his hair with the other. – Jake would be a fool not to sign you.

Eddie: I love you.

Loren: I love you too… What time is it?

Eddie: It is quarter to eight.

Loren: Then we have 4 more hours left. Wanna rehearse some songs?

Eddie: Sounds great, but first this. – He said pulling her into a fierce kiss.

Over that 3 hours Eddie and Loren have rehearsed songs and wrote some lyrics down that they came up with during the session. The time's gone fastly and now they're on their way to Jake's office. Eddie's hands are wavering and he has a tight hold on the wheel. Eventually they arrived and Eddie parked the car. They exit the vehicle and walked into the building together holding hands. Jake was already in his office waiting for them.

Jake: Eddie, Loren I'm happy you guys made it.

Eddie: Wouldn't miss it for the world. – He said while shaking Jake's hand.

Jake: So are you ready?

Eddie: I think so.

Jake: OK. If you need an instrumente you can use one of these in here.

Eddie: Thanks!

Eddie walked over to the guitar and picked it up. He played some chords, tuning in before starting the song. He felt ready so he played the melody, but when he opened his mouth nothing came out. He tried again, but failed as well.

Loren: Jake, could you give us a minute?

Jake: Sure!

Jake walked out and Eddie threw the guitar angrily to the couch.

Eddie: I told you Loren! I told you something's gonna go wrong.

Loren: No, Eddie you're just nervous that's all. You need to calm down and then overawe Jake OK?

Loren placed her hands on Eddie's chest and started drawing circles with her finger, trying to get him calmed down. He was still tensed, so Loren decided to light up the mood with some music.

Loren: C'mon just sing with me!

Loren started humming the melody of the first song they wrote together and it seemed to be working. Eddie's body slacked and he started smiling again. He caught up with Loren and together they got lost in the music and when they finished they heard clapping behind them.

Jake: Wow! You guys are great together! Have you ever thought of becoming a duo?

What do you think what will they say? Will they become a duo?

I know it's been a while since I had lost updated this story and I'm sorry for that. I just got into the others and I've been just busy. Hope you like my new chapter! I'm working on a new one for Life besides Hollywood. Please if you want me to continue review. I haven't gotten a lot of them to my other stories and this is telling me that you don't like them.
