"Hey guys. Guess I lost internet for not all that long. I have it back so I'm going to be putting up three chapters to make up mainly because I was going to be putting two chapters up on Christmas eve. But anyways after today I'll be going back to putting up a chapter every Monday.
"Hmm Good morning Nats- oh god its cold. Where's Natsu? Natsu!?" She asks getting out of bed searching for her missing boyfriend who was apparently not at her apartment even though he's never up at 7 in the morning. "Huh even Happy is gone? I wonder where those two went if they went to the store that wouldn't make sense considering no stores are open this early." she ponders to herself still wondering where the two went getting her clothes and changing into them. As she finishes changing she throws her pajamas into the hamper smirking. "Once we are able to do renovations I want to do something for Natsu hehe." she giggles to herself as she hears the door open.
"Hey Luce you up yet?" he asks entering the living room.
"Yeah I got up about 15 minutes ago where were you I couldn't find either of you guys." as she finishes she notices a lack of a blue fuzzball of an exceed as she enters the living room. "Where's Happy?" she asks as she notices flowers in his hands along with two train tickets.
"He's at the guild. Sorry I didn't wake you up before we left but you were really tired yesterday so I thought it was better to let you sleep." He says handing her the bouquet of flowers.
"Hey Natsu how did you know to pick these flowers?" Lucy asks looking at the carnations longingly.
"I asked Mira to help me I'm really not that good at that kind of stuff." He says looking at her with a frown scratching his head "Hey Luce try to be happy OK? I know that today is a bad day for you but" he gets cut off by Lucy looking up into his eyes with a bright smile on her face.
"I know Natsu I have to face this day like I would any other right? Life is a never ending adventure so all we can do is do what we want right?" She asks hugging him as he has a look of shock "What? You look shocked isn't what I just said what Fairy Tail is?" As she finishes Natsu looks down to her before pressing his lips against her forehead. "If it wasn't for you I wouldn't of realized what an adventure truly was I wouldn't even be here hugging you." As she finishes she ends her embrace and starts to head out.
"Luce where are you going ? The train to Acalypha doesn't leave until 9:30 we've still got 45 minutes before we need to leave and you're probably hungry right?" as he finishes she turns around with embarrassment on her face. "Hey I'll make you some cereal OK?" he says standing up and getting her breakfast as he drinks a bottle of hot sauce.
"Thanks Natsu this is the first year since my mother's death that I'm happy on this day. Are you ready?" she asks finishing her cereal in 15 minutes.
"Sure lets go." he smiles as they walk out hand in hand.

"Wow there's not many people here huh." Natsu says as they sit on a bench waiting for the train to get there.
"I guess not .I wonder why? Its normally packed for Acalypha everyday." she explains slightly worried about her boyfriend because of his motion sickness.
As the train gets to the station they hand the conductor their tickets and get in the train to wait for it to head to their destination. As soon as the train starts they notice something is off. "Eh I'm not getting motion sick?" Natsu questions not feeling sick in the slightest as Lucy turns her head to look at his mark noticing it was glowing slightly.
"Natsu I think it has something to do with you mark." Lucy states while he had a confused look plastered on his face. "Natsu your mark I gave you is glowing I think that as long as I'm alive you won't get motion sick anymore." She explains tilting her head.
"Wait do you know something about our marks that I don't?" Natsu asks in bewilderment as Lucy just nods.
"In that book it said that sometimes the mating marks can help their partner. An example they gave is that once the dragon slayer's mate gets their true mark they can't die from loss of magic because in the mark has an amount of magic to make sure that if they loose their magic it will keep them alive until their magic gets restored. It also seems that for the dragon slayer if their mate doesn't also have their greatest weakness they loose their weakness. Meaning for you when I'm around you won't have trouble with transportation" Lucy explains as Natsu gets a giant grin on his face.
"Wait so I will be able to ride transportation Luce?" he asks as he comes to the realization before realizing the first part of the explanation.
"That's right but I can't be too far away from you or it wont work like I just said." She states as Natsu's face turns sad. "Natsu whats wrong?" She asks as she moves closer to him.
"I never thought of you losing all your magic and that it could kill you. But at least now you won't ever be able to die from it." he says before a bright light appears on the opposite seat.
"Hey beautiful where are you headed today?" asks the familiar voice of Loke in his usual suit and tie.
"We're headed to Acalypha to visit my mom's grave why?" she asks as Natsu wraps his arm around her waist his jealousy seeping through whenever Loke calls her that.
"That's actually good that you're going there I have a special request from both Aquarius and Cancer." he states nonchalantly as the two look at each other confused. "They want you to summon them so they can see Layla's grave after all they haven't seen her since a year before her passing." Loke states looking at them.
"Sure I can do that for them after all they were my mom's spirits first. Tell them I'll summon them once I get to her OK?" Loke then nods and disappears back into the spirit world.
"I really wish he would stop calling you that." Natsu grumbles as he kisses her cheek.
"I know but you don't have to get jealous my mark proves that I'm yours and that nothing will come between us remember Idiot?" she states as she teasingly bites his mark.
"I know that weirdo but I still don't like it." he says before returning the tease on her mark.
"Hey Natsu do you mind if I take a nap before we get there?" she asks as she rests her head on his lap closing her eyes
"You know you could wait for my response instead of just doing it." he teases as he brushes her hair back while rubbing her side as she slowly falls asleep. "Just a little bit before I finally met her mom huh?" he asks himself as he looks down at his sleeping princess.

"Hey Luce wake up." Natsu whispers as he shakes her awake.
"Hmm are we there yet?" She asks as she realizes they aren't on the train anymore but on a bench in a park.
"We got into town about a half hour ago but you wouldn't wake up weirdo." he explains as Lucy stands up grabbing the flowers from Natsu's hand. "So I'm guessing you're ready Luce?" he asks as he gets up and grabs her hand with her leading the way to the grave getting there within a half hour.
"We're here."She says standing in front of a small cemetery near the Love and Lucky guild. "Do you want to come in with me just in case I start crying?" she asks as Natsu grips onto her hand tighter as she finishes talking.
"I'll go with you OK?" he says as he lets go of her hand following behind her before she sets flowers on a grave and sitting down before Natsu sits next to her putting a hand on her shoulder. "Just talk I won't say anything OK?" he says as Lucy looks behind her to Natsu with a straight face.
"Hi Mom I'm sorry I haven't been here in a while I've just been so busy at the guild. I really wish you were still alive, then you could meet my boyfriend Natsu in person." As she talks a tear falls down her face which Natsu wipes away from her face before she continues. "Hey mom remember when you would say that because I'm a princess I would find a prince that would love me as much as I loved him?Well you were wrong about that, I didn't find a prince to love. I found something better. I fell in love with a dragon and he loves me more and cares for me more than any prince could." she finishes as she puts her hand on top of his that was on her shoulder. "I still can't believe it's been 7 years. It's been seven years of not you being there to help me. I felt so lost with out you all these years. I just wish you were alive so that I could have you meet all my friends at the guild and meet Natsu. I love him more than anything I would do anything for him and I know he would do anything for me but still you aren't here to meet him and that's what hurts most of all." As she finishes she starts crying into Natsu, who grabs her back and head pulling her into a soft embrace as rubbing her back trying to calm her down.
"Luce it's OK everything's going to be OK." He says calmly holding tightly not letting go at all.
After five minutes of Lucy crying and shuddering in heavy breaths into her boyfriend's body she stops and looks up at him. "Thanks Natsu I don't know what I would do without you here." she says while Natsu wipes away the tears on her cheeks with his thumbs. "I think I should let them here now huh. Wait I can't summon two at once how should I do that?" she asks while looking at the two keys.
"Use the magic reserve in the mark. Because the magic is in your body it counts as celestial magic so it should work but try not to use it too many times." Natsu suggests as Lucy tries it.
"Open Gate of the water barer, Aquarius. Open Gate of the Crab, Cancer." as she finishes two bright lights shine and out comes both Cancer and Aquarius. "Wow that actually worked. Aquarius Cancer I'll give you two time alone with mom me and Natsu will be waiting at the entrance OK?" she asks as they nod both knowing how she was able to summon both at once.
As Natsu and Lucy get to the entrance they turn to look at the grave where the two spirits were talking as Natsu wraps his arm around her shoulder trying to comfort her so she doesn't cry again. "Hey Luce you're feeling better now right?" he asks as Lucy rests her head on his shoulder.
"Yeah there's still some more I want to say but I want them to talk first." she says looking at the grave.
"I didn't realize that your mom died the same year that Igneel and the other dragons went missing." Natsu states looking at her face that had it's color returned to normal.
"I know I should've told you but you know it's hard to talk about my mom." she explains as Natsu rubs her back hoping not to see her cry again
"I know. I'm just glad that you're OK now." As he finishes the two hear the sound of a stick breaking behind them when they turn to see what it was.
As they turn around they come face to face with Lucy's father. "Lucy what are you doing here?" her father asks as he looks over to the cemetery noticing that the two spirits were there.
"I'm here because it's the anniversary which you should know." she states slightly angry at seeing her father.
"I know Lucy that's why I'm here to see your mother." he says while noticing the pink haired boy holding onto his daughters waist in which Lucy notices. "Even though I do see her every day here I still wanted to see her today." he says before Lucy's gaze towards her father became soft.
"OK fine I guess do you want to at least talk about something while Cancer and Aquarius talk to mom." she says as her father looks at Natsu.
"OK. Who is this boy?" he asks looking at how they they were standing together.
"He's my boyfriend Natsu Dragneel. He saved me from the Phantom Lord incident, twice, which you caused" she says looking at her father who was looking apologetic.
"Look Lucy I know I've done wrong to you many times and I am truly sorry." Her father apologizes as he looks at both of them apologetically.
"I will accept your apology on one condition. You never try and take her away from my family Fairy Tail again. In the past few months she has gained so many friends that I never want to see her lose." Natsu says glaring up at the father of the love of his life.
"I promise that I will never do that. Especially now that she is happy on a day that she has never been happy since Layla passed." he says as he notices Lucy's mark. "If I may ask what is that dragon with its tail wrapping around a key for?" he asks causing Lucy to blush.
"Its the mark that Natsu gave me the first time we" she gets cut off by Natsu's hand in front of her face before he takes of his scarf showing his.
"I also have a mark. Because I'm a dragon slayer I was taught by a dragon to use magic but I also took on certain traits like enhanced hearing and smell. The reason why we both have these marks is that the first time we had sex I had to mark her as my one and only: my mate. Its a sign to show that I will always love and protect her and it also makes it so that if she loses all of her magic it wall keep her alive until she can get her magic returned to her." as he finishes Lucy and Natsu notice a smile on her fathers face.
"Wait You aren't made at me knowing that I've had sex before I got married?" Lucy asks shocked that her father is smiling.
"No I'm not there's no reason to be. I don't own you you're your own person now. You've grown up to be as beautiful and stronger than your mother it's your own choice to make. If you want to take anything away from this I want both of you to know that I'm happy for both of you. I can tell tell that Lucy loves you Natsu. Promise me to keep her safe as much as you can." he finishes as he starts walks off back towards his guild.
"I thought you were going to go to her grave today?" Lucy asks before her father turns around.
"I already did that this morning I never step into the guild without doing that. I came here because one of the others said that they say a young woman that looked like Layla in the cemetery crying with a pink haired boy holding her close. So I decided to see you and see if I could make amends for everything." He finishes as he heads to the guild.
As Natsu and Lucy turn around to the cemetery they turn to see Cancer and Aquarius coming towards the two. "Thank you Lucy for letting us talk to Layla again we miss her just as much as you do if not more." Says Aquarius who is smiling with cancer looking happy also.
"So I guess you two should head back but why do you two look so happy? I was crying when I got done." Lucy asks with confusion on her face.
"We were crying but we're happy because we could finally be near he again after 8 years." Aquarius says before noticing the pair. "Hey Lucy looks like you finally have a boyfriend huh? Looks like Leo wasn't lying after all." Aquarius states before the two spirits vanished.
"Ugh why does she have to be like that?" she asks as the two walk back towards the grave. "I guess I should finish this and then head back home huh?" she asks again while sitting down in front of her mothers grave with Natsu beside her with his hand on her shoulder.
"Hey Luce after you're done there's something I want to say but you finish talking." he says as Lucy holds her hands together as she shakes her head.
"Hey mom I hope you had a good talk with Aquarius and Cancer. Ever since I became a Celestial mage I've gotten more of the golden keys and just like you always taught me, I treat each and every one of them like my friends. I actually have 10 of the 12 keys. The only two that I don't have are Pisces and Libra. All the spirits have very strange personalities. One of them Leo, I know him as Loke because he was in fairy tail as a member for a while before I was able to get him back to the spirit world. He has a tendency to call me beautiful which Natsu gets jealous about but I'm try to get him to realize that he shouldn't pay him no mind but he won't listen but that one of the reason's I fell in love with the idiot huh? When those two were talking to you I saw dad and he apologized for everything he did especially trying to take me away from Fairy Tail. I just hope that nothing bad happens to Fairy Tail for a while. But knowing My guild problems will arise sooner than we think that's why I love the guild though other than most of my friends there are so caring especially Levy she's really smart and has been helping me work on my novel, she's been such a good help. I think you would've liked her if you were still alive. But I know that if you didn't die I might not of wanted to join a guild. I know its bad to think this but it might have been fate with everything that has happened in my life especially getting saved by Natsu the first time. I fell for him the moment he saved me and told me to come with him to fairy tail. I love him so much for everything he's done for me. We're practically living together me him and an exceed Happy who is basically a blue flying cat. We're actually planning on turning his small hut into a house but we're slightly short on money. I know we could've asked dad for the money but me and Natsu agreed we want to get the money ourselves. If you were still here I know you would like Natsu. I know you wanted me to grow up proper like I was rich but I never liked that lifestyle. I never would have wanted to marry someone like dad. I now that being with Natsu I could never want anything different now. I do want to marry him and start a family with him even though he can be an idiot. I'm just not sure if I can do it with your you help mom I don't want to be lost on what I need to do again. I just know that you would love my friends and the love of my life. I wish there was some way you could tell me what I need to do do but I know you can't. Just promise to look over me and my family OK." As she finishes she feels tears falling down her cheeks as she turns to face Natsu. "Natsu I miss her so much. I just don't know if I'm doing the right thing." she sobs as he pulls her into him to calm her.
"Luce listen to me. If you are doing want you want then I know you are doing the right thing." he finishes and realizes that Lucy has stopped crying. "Luce are you OK now?" he asks as she hugs him.
"Yeah you said you wanted to say something right?" she asks putting her hand on his should like he did with her.
"Yeah thanks Luce I'll try and be quick." he says before sitting straight up. "Hey I'm sorry if you've been looking down from up there worried about Luce since she joined Fairy Tail. If you did it's probably because of how infamous we are. Even though we are I think that Lucy made the best choice from when she first joined to now she has grown extremely strong. I know she can protect herself but I still want to protect her. I just don't want her getting hurt. I promise that as long as I'm with her I'll do my best to protect her as much as I can. I know that Luce wishes that we could've met but by what she says you were a good mother to her. I don't think she really needs to worry about raising our kids once we do have them. I know that if she raises them like she was raised they'll turn out fine. I just hope I will know what to do after all I was raised by a dragon. I never knew my actual parents but I hope I won't do wrong by you. I think it's time for us to go me and Luce will try to come back soon but we might be busy so we'll at least come back here once a year especially once we have kids." As he finishes he looks to Lucy who had a big smile on her face.
"Wow Natsu I didn't think you thought like that." She says as he gets up and pulls her up with him.
"Really Luce I'm not that much of an idiot." he says walking out of the cemetery with his arm over her shoulders.
"Hey wanna get some lunch before we head home?" he asks noticing a restaurant.
"Yeah I am starting to get hungry. Mind if I chose for once?" she asks looking at the selection of 3 restaurants.
"Sure what ever you want I'll pay for it." he says noticing her eyes look at a small restaurant that looked to serve pasta.
"I think I want some pasta for lunch." Lucy states as she starts pulling Natsu towards the small Restaurant.
As they go into the restaurant they get seated at a small booth next to a window with a view of a small river. "Wow the view is really nice huh Luce?" he asks as the waitress come to see what they want for food.
"So do you two know what you want or should we just do drinks for now?" the waitress asks looking at the couple.
"We'll just do drinks for now we don't know exactly what we want yet." Lucy says smiling at the waitress before continuing. "I'll have some water." she says looking at Natsu who was thinking.
"I'll have some water too. Because I doubt you have any hot sauce." Natsu states causing the waitress to laugh.
"OK I'll be right back with your water." she says giggling as she turns to walk away.
"Why do so many restaurants think I'm joking about drinking hot sauce?" Natsu asks to Lucy who was looking around the restaurant.
"I think it's because normal people wouldn't drink hot sauce on a daily basis." Lucy states as the waitress comes back to the table with their water. "I think we know what we want now." Lucy says as the waitress puts down their drinks.
"OK so what would you two want?" she asks politely.
"I think I'll just have some regular spaghetti." Lucy says politely as the waitress writes it down before turning to the yawning pinkette.
"Do you guys serve anything spicy?" he asks getting a weird look from the waitress. "What? Did I say something weird?" he asks before the waitress starts to speak.
"Oh we do have some spicy meatball lasagna if you'd like." the waitress states as she turns to Lucy. "By the way miss you remind me of a woman who got me this job about 20 years ago." the waitress states as Lucy looks puzzled by this statement.
"Oh? Do you know what her name is?" Lucy asks as she takes a sip of water.
"I believe her name was Layla Hearfilia. She was a celestial mage." The waitress states as the couple look at the woman in shock. "Do you know what a Celestial mage is?" she asked before Lucy starts to talk.
"Yeah I am one." she says as both show their Guild marks. "And I also Know Layla she's my mom." Lucy states as the waitress looks at her.
"Wait Lucy?" the waitress asks in shock. "I can't believe it's you. You really have grown to look as beautiful as you mother." The waitress states smiling before walking off to give the cooks their order.
"Well that was a shock huh Luce?" Natsu asks looking at his girlfriend who look slightly upset causing him to go to the same side as the table as her. "Luce you OK?" he asks looking at her and placing his hand on her shoulder.
"Yeah I just feel weird right now. I think it's because she seems so familiar but I just can't place it." she continues as Natsu gets up before he presses a kiss on her forehead. "Thanks Natsu." Lucy smiles as Natsu goes back to his seat.
"No problem. I just wish you would come out and tell me when something's bothering you." Natsu states with a sigh as Lucy has a slight smile on her face. "Looks like our food is here." Natsu says looking at the waitress coming towards them with their food.
"Here's your food you two." the waitress says with a smile setting down her food looking at the two.
"Hey before you go do you mind if I asks you something?" Lucy asks the waitress.
"Sure ask whatever Lucy." the waitress says smiling looking at the pinkette starting to eat while listening in.
"I feel like I've met you before but I don't remember. Have I ever met you?" Lucy asks curiously as she takes a forkful of her spaghetti.
"I doubt you would've remembered me. You were only 5 the only time I met you. It was actually at this same spot we met for the first time. You and your mother came here to eat while your father had some business here in town to take care of so you two came here to eat. I guess you've always been a wild child. The prim and proper life never did suit you. I hope you two have a good life together in the guild." the waitress says before walking away.
"Wait how did you know we're together?" Lucy asks before she stops walking.
"I can tell just by how you two look at each other." She explains smiling before continuing to walk away as Lucy started eating.
…...
"Hmm. Natsu the train doesn't come for another hour what do you want to do?" Lucy asks as Natsu finishes paying for their meal.
"I dunno wanna just wait at the station and talk?" Natsu suggests as he wraps his arm around her shoulder as they walk out of the restaurant.
"Sure why not?" She says as they walk through the small town a getting to the station and sitting down in about ten minutes. "I kinda wish I knew that waitress' name." Lucy says as the two sit down on a bench.
"I know Luce but I doubt we will see her again." Natsu says before continuing. "Hey how you feeling after everything today?" he asks as Lucy looks up at him.
"Actually pretty good. Hey once we get back wanna head to the guild there's something I want to talk to Levy about." Lucy asks as she nuzzles up to Natsu so his arm falls down to her side.
"Sure I just hope Lisanna isn't mad anymore." Natsu states earning an angry grunt from Lucy. "Oh someone jealous hmm?" Natsu asks in a joking tone earning him an elbow to the gut.
"Well slightly you two grew up together. I just don't want her to flirt with you." Lucy states as she closes her eyes. "I know I shouldn't get jealous about it but I am I just don't want to loose you." she says solemnly.
"Luce you do realize I never registered her flirting even when we were younger. You know you don't have to worry about loosing me." Natsu says rubbing her side.
"Mmh that feels good Natsu. I know I don't have to worry but I always will."
"I know. Hey I just thought of something." Natsu says as Lucy yawns.
"Oh boy better call Juvia." Lucy remarks as she smirks.
"Funny Luce." he says as he rolls his eyes. "What I was going to say was that have you noticed that Lately that Gajeel has been talking to Levy a lot?" Natsu asks as Lucy turns to look at him.
"I have noticed that but I didn't pay it no mind why?" she asks as he smirks.
"I think that within a year they'll be together." He says as the train enters the station.
As they got in their seat they continue talking "Why do you think that?" she asks laying her head on his lap.
"I dunno It just seems that way. When you're talking to Levy I'll probably talk to Mira about that and see what she thinks." he says as Lucy closes her eyes.
"OK but for now I want sleep." she states as she falls asleep with her boyfriend's hand rubbing her back.
