Chapter 10

Authors note: This is just a little family filler chapter, I've got some more lined up for you guys soon! Sorry for the delay :)

It was exactly a month since Lacey and Brooklyn had been born, Sam was back at work and Andy was at home with the children. Andy was lying on her bed in her bedroom reading whilst Josie, Jerry, Brooklyn and Lacey all slept around her on the bed. Slowly Brooklyn's eyes began to open, "Hi" whispered Andy softly, gently lifting her daughter into her arms, being careful not to startle the baby or wake any of the others.

"Hi baby. Would you like mama to tell you a story?" She laughed quietly as Brooke threw her tiny fist in the air, waving it around "I'll take that as a yes" she said gently before starting with the story, "...Then he lay down close by and whispered with a smile, "I love you right up to the moon - AND BACK.' The End." Andy whispered once she had finished. "Night, night Brookie. I love you right up to the moon and back" she said giving her a kiss on the forehead as Brooke sighed peacefully and closed her eyes once again.

When Sam came home later that evening he walked into the house but couldn't find Andy anywhere. He started making his way through the house calling Andy's name as he went. He finally found her curled up on their bed fast asleep. Josie and Jerry were both awake and were playing quietly on the floor, Brooke was still sleeping soundly and Lacey was wide away, waving her arms around and making cute baby noises. He silently picked Lacey up and pulled the covers up over Andy, tucked the pillows in around brooke a little more, kissed both of their heads softly before taking Lacey out of the room and motioning for Jerry and Josie to follow him out of the room.

"We don't want you guys waking mama up now do we?" Sam whispered making his way downstairs and placing Lacey in her baby chair and turning the tv on for Josie and Jerry, before going into the kitchen to get them each a bottle of milk.

"Here we go, Daddy's got some milk for you!" said Sam re-entering the living room and picking Lacey back up and handing Josie and Jerry their sippy cups. He sat on the sofa, holding Lacey in his arms and began feeding her the milk. Just as Lacey finished the milk Andy came down stairs, "Hey babe" whispered Sam, not wanting to wake Lacey who had fallen back asleep.

"Hey, I didn't hear you come in." Andy replied.

"You were fast asleep when I came in and Lace, Jer and Jose were awake, I didn't want them to wake you so I brought them downstairs."

"Thanks Sammy," said Andy sitting down next to Sam, placing Brooke in her baby chair and lifting Jerry onto her lap. "She looks so peaceful!" She whispered to her husband, stroking the top of Lacey's head and pressing a kiss to the top of Jerry's.

"Yeah... she does" Sam commented as Josie climbed onto the sofa beside him, kissing his wife and children on the head.
