"I will" was all I said before I started waking up but before I was completely gone I heard Gene shout "MAI GO DOWN THE CREEPY CORRIDOR, JOHN'S DOWN THERE AND NEEDS HELP TAKE LIN-SAN WITH YOU"
Chapter 9 – Coming to the Rescue
-Mai's Pov-
I jumped up after wakening from my dream only to knock over Naru and Mr Takigawa onto the floor before running out of base whilst shouting "LIN FOLLOW ME, JOHN NEEDS OUR HELP".
With that me and Lin ran out of base and towards the creepy corridor were we saw John passed out on the floor and the creepy chick that put me in hospital going towards him.
Looking over to Lin I nodded to him for him to call his Shriki to get her away from John-san before running over to him, making sure he's fine and not injured but hey my name wouldn't be Mai Taniyama if I didn't at least get injured whilst helping another.
As I neared closer to John-san, the ugly face monster saw me and decided to make a attack towards me which once it hit caused me to go flying into the wall behind me whilst also winding me as well.
"MAI" I heard Lin shout before passing out, once again.
-2 hours later-
Waking up I came face to face with John's face as he looked down at me, smiling I sat up before pulling him into a hug "John-san I'm glad you're alright"
"I'm fine Mai-Chan, how are you though?" the young priest asked whilst hugging me back.
"I'm happy because I can remember you again" was all I said before we hugged each other for another 10 minutes before pulling away as Naru and Lin walked through the door followed by everyone else.
