Santana sipped her beer and felt weird, a tingle in her throat, and her hands itched at her neck. Brittany looked dazed and confused, her blue eyes glazed over as she held her hand over her mouth and shook her head.
Santana turned to Brittany and asked, "Are you okay?"
Brittany shook her head, her blue eyes widened with fear.
"Are you going to be sick?" Santana asked, she took Brittany's hands off of her mouth.
"Santana is my girlfriend." Brittany said in a loud voice, her expression pained. No one seemed to hear her under the dim lights and loud music.
"Brittany!" Santana covered her mouth and pulled her out of the crowded room into the kitchen, anger vibrating with the beat of the music, "How could you?"
"Santana is my girlfriend." Brittany repeated, people in the room looked to stare at the girls in confusion, mainly figuring Brittany was just being stupid as usual.
"Brittany please stop!" Santana hissed. She glared at the others in the room and they all ran, not wanting to cross her.
"Santana…" Brittany was tearing up, "I can't… something happening…." Brittany's words became broken up, she shook her head.
"What are you doing this to me for? I thought we agreed to wait until I was ready? Isn't me being faithful enough?" Santana demanded, holding back tears.
"I have to tell everyone." Brittany said, "I can't help it, you need to find Quinn and Tina…"
"Why should I find them?" Santana demanded angrily, her throat still tingling, her hands scratching wildly at her arms, she didn't notice though as she glared at her girlfriend.
"They can stop this, it's magic, please SANTANA NOW!" Brittany collapsed on the ground, holding her head, "NOW! I CAN'T TELL, PLEASE!"
Her shouting attracted attention as everyone crowded around the kitchen, Santana ran out, listening to Brittany with one last look of concern.
Suddenly she had the urge to tell people her darkest secret. The one she kept hidden out of shame for years, the same one Brittany was blurting out. She bit her tongue and ran as fast as she could until she smacked into a sandy haired girl.
"Move!" Santana snapped at Sugar.
"Why? Got a secret to spill?" Sugar was giggling, "Because you know, it's hilarious, that you're in this huge gay denial. I mean it's why you aren't fucking the whole football team, right?"
Santana stared at Sugar in shock, not knowing how to respond.
"After all Santana, the spell seemed to work on your little girlfriend, telling the secret that would hurt you the most. You're afraid aren't you?" Sugar mocked.
"GET OUTTA MY WAY!" Santana pushed Sugar over onto the ground and shouted, "TINA COHEN-CHANG, QUINN FABRAY!"
She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see them both looking at her in confusion.
"Santana why is Brittany in the kitchen holding her mouth and hyperventilating?" Tina asked.
But Quinn was staring down at Sugar who hadn't moved, she was holding the spot where Santana had pushed her and groaning. It clicked in her mind, she lunged forward, grabbing Sugar.
"Sugar Motta, what the hell did you do?" Quinn said as she grabbed the girl with one hand and held her suspended in the air, "Are you a witch? Did you do something?"
"I-I...NO!" Sugar said in shock.
Quinn didn't see Santana walk away and say, "I need to tell people everything, everything."
Tina did though and ran after Santana, "NO WAIT!"
Quinn was shaking Sugar, "REVERSE THE SPELL SUGAR!"
Sugar started laughing between shakes, "It's not reversible, it can't end until Santana spills the secret, once she does, she's going to be ruined, and it'll be broken."
"We can suck the power out of you!" Quinn hissed.
"That process will take hours when you have minutes. Looks like she's already gone." Sugar smiled, "It's not like she's going to be hurt….not physically."
Quinn dropped Sugar hard this time and ran after Tina and Santana.
But it was too late.
The crowd of students were turned to Santana, because she whistled for them. They watched in awe, angst, and curiosity as she looked at them all.
"I have a secret." She whispered.
"Santana!" Tina said suddenly, she grabbed the latina and started to drag her away from the crowd.
"I never liked having sex with Noah Puckerman or the rest of the football team. I don't play for that team." Santana announced, whispers could be heard throughout the room.
Brittany popped out and said, "Because she's a cheerio and you all have tiny dicks."
Everyone laughed, figuring this was Santana dissing them. Brittany went over to Santana and helped Tina drag her away as she kept rambling, "I WANTED TO KILL MYSELF LAST YEAR!"
Silence throughout the room, no one laughed, no one made a sound.
They all looked in awe and amazement at the latina, who was now free from Brittany and Tina's grasp, they stood in shock too.
"I was afraid of the looks and the pain I lived through every day, I even cut my arms, and wore things to cover it. I was so afraid. But I'm okay now. But you guys scare me." Santana closed her eyes, the spell still making her spill the dark secret, "I just do this to fit in, I love cheerleading and Brittany, but hate being a bitch. I hate it."
With that she collapsed to the ground. The room around her shook with applause from students. Some were whispering about how brave she was, others saying they could relate. Brittany was tearing up and kneeling down to stroke Santana's hair. As it turns out...she had outed herself, for something completely different.
Quinn felt numb, and Sugar was next to her now crying, "I'm going to get killed…"
"You deserve it, for what you tried to do." Quinn snapped.
Sugar turned and walked away. Quinn walked over to her friend who was still crying gently on the ground and knelt down with Brittany, "Was that the secret?"
"Yes." Santana was crying, glad she wasn't announcing she was gay, and glad that everyone seemed so...easy going about her past depression.
"Why didn't you tell me last year?" Quinn whispered, "I want to help."
" You scared me too, we were competing," Santana sniffled, and sat up, the crowd of students still watching, she turned to address them, "Go on and party now that I admitted it. I want anyone to uh, who feels that way to find help, that was the point. With the holidays coming up the glee club and cheerios are doing an awareness thingy…"
The crowd clapped again, and went back slowly to the party.
After a while Santana was sitting on the couch surrounded by the glee club, Puck was looking at her in concern.
"You and Brittany?" He asked.
Santana didn't answer.
"Because it's cool, I should've figured it out S. I'm sorry I was such a dick earlier, I'm happy for you," Puck continued, "But you could've told me, I'm your friend before anything else."
"I know." Santana smiled, "I know."

Sugar stumbled out the door, hurting physically everywhere after being handled by the Slayer, she could feel the thoughts in her mind being invaded as Terri probed them.
It was the wrong secret, how did this happen? Sugar thought to herself, brushing tears away from her eyes as she continued to walk on the now empty streets.
"I don't quite know." Terri's voice was right behind her, Sugar jumped and turned slowly to see Terro glaring at her.
"Master I am so sorry! Please, it was a mistake, I can fix it…"
"I think you can't. I gave you chances Sugar, I gave you many. This is the second time you have disappointed me." Terri said angrily, she moved forward, her face contorting into the vampire form, and bared her fangs on the last word.
Sugar stood frozen, watching as Terri moved closer to her, close enough for their faces to be touching, and grinned fangs and all.
"See, I wanted a powerful witch, not a clumsy one. But it is okay, I have another plan. I just need your magic to do it. But I found this neat little spell that can suck the magic right out of you!" Terri beamed, "It'll suck the magic out and turn you to a shriveled little prune girl." Terri giggled and shook her head.
Sugar cringed and leaned away, she concentrated hard.
"I won't do it." Sugar snapped. Her hands conjured up a ball of fire and she blasted at Terry's midsection.
Terri was thrown back with a grunt, landing on the hard cement beneath her. She looked up at Sugar, eyes wide with disbelief.
"How dare you?! You sniveling little brat!" Terri cried out, she stared down at the red dress, burnt to a crisp and revealing her pale stomach, slightly singed.
"I refuse to bow down to you!" Sugar squeaked. Terri got up quickly and ran as fast as she could at Sugar.
Sugar concentrated hard again on her goal, to get home, twirled on the spot, and vanished. Terri ended up running through the air, hands grabbing at nothing. She snarled to herself angrily.
"DAVID!" Terri called out, her largest and perhaps meanest goon stepped out of the shadows, fear in his eyes.
"Master?"
"I need to know, how many were lost when you went to recruit for our army?" Terri demanded.
"Just one. But we still managed to capture two or three for your approval." David bowed his head.
"See, this is how I like it. Of course one loss is alright but we gained more." Terri said calming down, "I want you to turn them, all of them, and get that Sugar girl to me. I want her gone."
"Yes Master, as you wish." David bowed his head.
