The forest woods were quiet, much like that rooms throughout the house, each lit by the sun's light coming in through the window. It was a beautifully perfect morning for , everyone was still asleep. Well, everyone except for Zeper of course, who was just beginning to wake up.
He still felt something touching his hand when he was fully awake. Was something in the bed with him? He carefully lifted the blanket to the bed and saw 98 holding onto his hand, sleeping soundly and cutely. Sighing in relief, he should've known by now that the Manaphy loves sleeping either against or with him.
He laid there still, waiting for 98 to wake up, afraid to wake her up himself.
Meanwhile…
"Are you sure this is the place they fled to Lucian? I really doubt that they would trust another human being just like that." Said a man that was in front of Zeper's house standing next to his Lucario. The man was around 6'2, maybe even taller. A bit muscular as well. All matched with tight blue jeans and a blue shirt. Black hair as well. You know, the typical man wanting to beat the crap outta ya just for fun.
"I know its here. Thats at least where the trail leads to. It goes and centers all around this place." Lucian, the Lucario, answered to his trainer.
The man decided to do a little investigation around the front and back yards of the house. The front yard was an average front yard with a big lawn. The backyard was a field with a big tree, good for napping under, next to a garden. Not too much, yet not too little. But then the house that had a grey paint to it and stood 3 or 4 stories high, maybe even had a basement, was starting to say that this place was a rich place to live out a life. It was huge.
He began to near the door, grabbing the door knob getting ready to shoulder open the door. That was until he noticed he was being watched by someone. But for how long had he been being watched for? He never even noticed him just standing there… Weird.
"Who are you and what business do you have here?" Genji asked, trying to obviously get to the point quickly. To his right was Star, his companion that he would never depart from.
Star didn't look too happy either. As a matter a fact, he had ready a leaf blade just in case the Lucario decided to attack, or even the man himself. All he knew was that he didn't belong here.
"Tell me." The man said as he let go of the doorknob and faced Genji. "Have you seen a set of 4 around here? Two of them are Zorua, one is a Manaphy, and the last is a Raichu. My buddy here says that they fled to here. But this doesn't seem likely."
"No, Zeper doesn't have any pokemon that I know of. Especially not no rarities." Genji answered, keeping on his guard. He saw something shining from the sunlight in the man's pocket, something that he was holding. What was it though? It definitely wasn't a pokeball. It was a flat piece of metal. Was it… A knife? He kept eyeing at the his pocket in case.
The man gripped whatever the object was, smirking. "Well, Lucian here has tracked down all four of their auras to this exact location. You should just tell me now, we don't need any trouble here now do we?"
At this, Genji was surprised. He never met any of the new four pokemon Zeper had, but he definitely didn't expect it to be the four that the man was talking about. He called Star to stand off guard, with a confusing look, he followed his command. "Look, we don't want any trouble at all, you can trust me on that. But we really doubt it is Zeper with your pokemon. He isn't one to take what isn't his."
"How can I really trust your telling the truth. Maybe you're trying to keep me away." The man looked at Lucian and gave him a nod. Lucian nodded after and his hands began to glow with blue aura with light forming between the two hands. It was an aura sphere!
Lucian fired the blue ball out in front of him, but it wasn't aimed at Star, it was heading straight for Genji. It only took Star less than half a second to react and he jumped into the path of the moving sphere, getting hit back into Genji who caught him. The blow was harsh and had completely taken out Star, that Lucario must have been a monster to do that much damage to Star without even trying.
Genji was terrified.
AN:Well I'm starting to have a bit of fun now. Introduced an antagonist I think its called. If you all haven't noticed yet, I'm trying to make the chapters longer than usual now. But either way, The story has now hit 10 chapters. A nice waypoint. So I hope you all enjoy your readings, the cliffhanger, and the next chapter. Luck to one and all! Bye!
