If that's how Ino wants to play, then so be it. I smoothed out the wrinkles in my shirt, held my chin high, and walked confidently into my English class. Everyone was reading silently out of their textbooks. I walked over to take my seat and Tenten looked up at me.

"Well aren't you looking confident." I sat down without looking at her.

"Ino's going down. I don't care if I need to go to Hell. I'm bringing her down with me." I stared ahead in absolute determination.

"Whoa, what happened?" Tenten leaned forward and whispered in my ear.

"What happened isn't important. What's important is what's going to happen."

~Reluctant Apology~

I spent the rest of the day mindlessly going through the motions of class. All I could think of were the different ways I could get my revenge on Ino. Cutting off her hair would be too difficult, and spreading a false rumor could get me expelled. I need something a bit more...subtle.

I walked up the path to my dorm and saw what looked to be senior student council members walking in and out. They certainly weren't any of my dorm mates, and they were dressed far too casually to be adults. I went up to one. He was tall, thin, and had glossy black hair and thin wire rimmed glasses.

"What the hell is going on here?" I asked rudely. He turned towards me and stared at me as he pushed his glasses further up the bridge up his nose. Any higher and they'd be in his forehead.

"Routine inspection, Ma'am. No one is allowed in until we're done." I scoffed at him. This must be the inspection Tsunade ordered.

"Hey!" I shouted at a boy who was carrying a box of my stuff outside. "That is personal property, I demand you put that down right now!" He stared at me and paused, startled. I walked up to him and grabbed the box.

"I'm sorry, I've been ordered to search through everything." I glared at him some more.

"If you don't put it down, the only thing that's going to be searched through is the woods when they try to find your body." I yanked the box out of his hands and went inside to put it next to my couch. The inside was trashed, as if it could get messier than before. My belongings were strewn about the living room floor. Someone's going to die. A few moments later, I heard a whistle blow and four or so students walked down from upstairs and outside. The boy with glasses from earlier walked inside and up to me.

"Seeing as you're the only one here, I'm going to assume you're in charge. While we haven't found anything against the rules, we have become aware that the condition in which your dorm is being kept is unsuitable." He scribbled on a piece of paper and handed it to me. "I am assigning your building to a week's worth of detention, starting today, and running through Friday, during which time you will all be responsible for the clean up of this building. You will be monitored by a senior student council member. Good day." He turned around and walked in the opposite direction. I stood in the center of the living room with the slip in my hand and just started yelling.

"Good day? That's it!" I looked at the clock, 3:10. According to the handbook, detention would begin at 3:30 and end at 5:30. I quickly gathered all of my belongings and put them in boxes. I don't need anyone else seeing all of my stuff. I sat down on the couch and waited for everyone else to come in. I felt like an ass every time I told whoever walked through the door that we had received a week's worth of supervised detention. A few people smacked Hidan after I sort of explained what happened, I left Ino out of course. She's mine to deal with.

The building gathered itself in the living room. We seemed to be a bit smaller than every one else, topping out at what seemed to be nine people, ten including myself. Definitely a small group. I was on the couch semi-squished between Deidara and Hidan. Who the hell said they could sit here? It's my damn couch. Five minutes before our scheduled detention, the same guy with wire framed glasses and a disappointed look on his face showed up.

"Why the hell are we even doing this, yeah?" I turned towards Deidara and I elbowed him in the side.

"If we don't they're going to kick us out." He signed and rested his chin on his hand.

"Alright. You have two hours each day until Friday to get this place clean, so I suggest you start now. If I see anyone goofing off, I'm writing your names down." Hidan was silently mocking him, and I stifled a laugh. "This is a serious matter!" He turned towards Hidan and crossed his arms defensively, clipboard in his left hand.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever."

"Don't make me write your name down!" Hidan waved him off and got up and went into the kitchen. Sassy. Everyone scattered and went to clean various parts of the first floor. I took the kitchen, it seemed to be the most tame.

"Since you've been blatantly disregarding my authority, you can clean the bathroom." I looked over my shoulder and saw Hidan arguing with the student council officer.

"Fuck no! I am not doing that." The student council officer tapped on his clipboard with his pen. "Oh fuck you!" He angrily stomped up the stairs. I've never heard anyone swear as much as he does. "Fuck this shit!" I heard him shout again once he reached the top of the stairs.

"What an idiot, hm." I looked over towards the microwave and saw Deidara peeling back the duct tape. The microwave door swung wide open. He pulled the plug from the back and jabbed a screwdriver into one of the latches and started fiddling around.

"It's not like you're any better. You're an idiot, too." I picked up some paper plates off the table and threw them into an empty trash bag.

"Hardly, at least I'm capable of forming whole sentences without swearing. I'm pretty sure Prince Charming over there has a vocabulary of less than a hundred words, hm."

"At least he looks like the gender he identifies with." In all honesty, Deidara's only feminine characteristics were his short height and long hair. He paused with the screw driver for a moment.

"Whatever." He continued to fiddle around. There was a small click, and a small toy building brick fell out and bounced across the floor. "Tobi..." He whispered to himself and threw it in the trash. Deidara slammed the microwave shut, and it stayed shut, before he started to scrub the duct tape residue off of it. Maybe I took my insult a little too far. I don't want to apologize, but...

"Look, I didn't-" He ignored me and walked off into the mysterious door near the stairs and pulled out a rustic looking vacuum. He began vacuuming the living room, which effectively drowned out any apology I might be able to muster up. Man, I really screwed up. Wait, why do I feel bad? This is weird. I finished scooping the papers off the table. I wiped it down with a dish cloth I found underneath the kitchen cabinet. It was kind of a nice table. Dark wood and rustic looking, either that or it was just scratched to hell. I straighten the chairs out and dusted off the seats. Well, the kitchen looks significantly cleaner, even if it's still pretty disgusting. The problem is, how then hell am I supposed to wash the floor, or the counters, or anything.

"Miharu!" I heard a cheerful voice shout from the stairs "Tobi's room was clean, so Tobi cleaned yours! I took out all the trash!" He held up 3 or so black trash bags stuffed full. Wow. That was actually really nice of him.

"Wow." I said, genuinely shocked. "Thanks, a lot, actually. That was really nice of you." I couldn't tell, but I imagined he was grinning under that mask of his. He walked the rest of the way down the stairs and brought the trash bags out. I stopped what I was doing and walked up to my room. I opened the door slowly and peaked in. The trash was certainly all gone, and the floor had even been swept. I'd still need to wipe down the walls, but it was a vast improvement. With all the furniture in here, it could be pretty comfortable. I closed the door. Across from me I could see Itachi silently cleaning his room, two doors down, the door to Hidan's room was wide open and he was sorting through some large leather bound books. I didn't know he read. I walked up and grabbed both sides of the door frame and leaned in. I caught a quick glimpse of the cover. Jashinism. I wonder what that is. He turned towards me and smiled a bit.

"It's looking pretty good in here if I do say so myself. At least there's enough room for more than one person." I thought back to the time I helped him with his math, it was cramped as hell.

"It's a hell of a lot better than cleaning the bathroom, I'm just happy I got that the fuck out of the way." He looked around his floor at the empty space. "You know, with all of this extra space, we might be able to arrange a late night visit if you're interested." I looked on his dresser and saw a small TV/DVD player combo and I got excited.

"Oh! You mean like a movie night? I love movies." He closed his eyes and rubbed his forehead. Maybe my excitement is a little bit annoying.

"That's not what I meant." He stood up and walked towards me. I looked towards the ceiling, pondering what he said.

"What do you mean then?" He crouched in front of me, just enough to be level with my face. His eyes were slightly closed, giving him a heavy lidded look. He must be tired. I inhaled a bit, and I could smell him. Wow. That's nice. He's shirtless too, I could practically feel the heat radiating off of him. I shivered just a hair. His eyes are up here, resist the urge to look down.

"I think you know damn well what I mean." He smirked a bit and I thought a bit more, and then it clicked when I realized that he was giving me a really impressive set of bedroom eyes. I stood up straight and covered my mouth as I felt excess blood beginning to pool in my cheeks. Oh boys. "There you go." He patted my head and I walked off a bit clumsily without saying anything. Oh boys. I shook my head rapidly and walked back downstairs.

I looked over by that mysterious door near the foot of the stairs. I've been here for two weeks, and I still don't know what's in there. I opened the door hesitantly and walked in. It was dark, and smelled like a basement. I felt on the side for a light switch of some sort. The walls were unfinished and I could feel a wall stud and the paper covered insulation. I flipped a light switch and an old dangling light bulb on a cord flickered on. The room seemed to be a pantry of sorts, there were dried noodles everywhere. Like, cases of instant ramen, everywhere. Every. Where. By the time I leave here, I'm going to have extreme hypertension from the diet.

There were pine wood shelves lined with cleaning supplies, canned food, toilet paper, everything you could imagine. It almost seemed like a little mini store, except darker, and creepier. Against the far left wall was a mattress, bed frame, and other furniture that looked identical to what everyone else had in their rooms. Looks like that's mine. I walked up to it and visually inspected the pieces. It all looked new. The mattress was wrapped in plastic, and the furniture looked immaculate. I certainly lucked out, there's nothing grosser than a used mattress without a mattress cover. I heard the vacuum in the living room stop and I hid behind a shelf full of toilet paper. The last thing I need now is an awkward conversation because he won't listen to my apology. Deidara walked in, and put the vacuum against the wall, next to a bracket that held a mop and a broom, Near that was a five gallon bucket and a half empty bottle of floor cleaner. He walked out and shut the door while turning off the light. I can't see anything now. I used my foot to feel in front of me for any shelving or stray bottles.

"Ow!" I kicked my foot into some type of large heavy bucket. I switched on the lights and grabbed the broom, mop, bucket and cleaner. I swear to god this kitchen is going to be beautiful when I'm done. I silently cleaned the kitchen top to bottom. It was relatively small, so it wasn't a difficult task. The smooth tile cleaned up really easy when I used the floor cleaner full strength. The bottle said to dilute it, but the grey stains told me otherwise. It was 5:15 when I finally finished. I looked over in the living room quickly and saw Deidara take out the last trash bag to the dumpster outside. Now's my only opportunity. I quickly grabbed the two stuffed bags I had filled with old leftovers and junk from the table and ran out to the dumpster. The sun was setting and everything was a gorgeous shade of creamsicle orange. Deidara flung the bag into the dumpster and turned around. He saw me, looked at the ground, and then continued walking. I stepped in front of him and he tried to go around me.

"Look, I'm sorry I insulted you. I was just joking around and I didn't mean anything by it." He looked up at me.

"Whatever, don't mention it, hm." He still sounded upset.

"I really didn't mean it." His expression didn't change. I dropped my trash bags and pushed up the corners of his mouth using my fingers. "Come on, I said I was sorry, be happy, or at least grumpy like you always are." He swatted my hands away.

"Oh shut up Beansprout." He smirked and walked away. That's more like the Deidara I'm sick of seeing.
