Hello again everyone! So I was hoping to get this done a little sooner but life happens and I got a bit busy with things. But I finally got to finish this chapter, albeit late for Loki's birthday (if no one knew when it was, I didn't either and ended up looking it up on the Marvel wiki and it said December seventeenth—which is convenient given this story is set in December haha!). Anyways, enjoy!

-Chapter Ten-

Loki came awake with Saia's scent all around him. He could feel her warmth cuddled up next to him as he opened his eyes to the darkness to see her eyes still closed and her breathing still soft and even. He had to admit he was surprised she had come to him again last night though he wasn't complaining either. He actually liked having her sleep next to him. It was comforting and since she'd been doing so, he hadn't had any nightmares plague him at night. Instead, his dreams had been pleasant; some being of his memories as a young kid back in Asgard with Thor and his friends growing up to more sensual dreams with him and Saia.

Suddenly Saia gave a deep breath and sigh as she started to wake and stretch before going still beside him. He kept still waiting to see what she'd do. Would she try to sneak away like before? He saw her eyes starting to open in the dark and quickly shut his waiting for her reaction.

Saia opened her eyes to look at Loki's closed in the dark. She wondered if he was awake since all the other times he had been. Studying his face for a moment and feeling his arm still wrapped around her waist, she got an idea and gave a small smirk. She moved just enough to place a kiss on his lips lightly and teasingly. His hand moved up her back slightly as he pulled her towards him and kissed her back before rolling so she was pinned under him.

"I figured you were awake," she chuckled as he broke the kiss and looked down at her, raising an eyebrow. She gave a smirk up at him.

"Are you teasing me?" he asked.

"Maybe," she replied still smirking.

"You know that will cost you," he spoke as he kissed her lips again before kissing along her jaw to her neck then up to whisper in her ear. "Especially since you came to my bed."

Suddenly a couple of the dogs gave a bark and the sounds of a couple of them standing and shaking with their tags clinking got Saia's attention. Loki turned his head slightly to look over his shoulder as one of them jumped up on the bed and barked again. He knew what was coming next.

"I should go let them out," Saia spoke up and Loki gave a soft sigh before rolling off her and let her up. She raised an eyebrow at him for moving aside without hassle this time but figured he realized she best let the dogs out so he didn't have to clean up any messes they made.

Laying there listening as Saia got up and went out of the room to let the dogs out, he gave a sigh before getting up and going down to the bathroom to splash some cold water on his face before heading down to the kitchen where Saia was filling the bowls of water and food up. He gave a slight sigh before helping fill up a couple of the water dishes she handed him then went to check on the dogs when she asked him to go ahead and call them back in.

Helping her make breakfast like usual and setting the table, Loki sat eating his breakfast quietly with her as the dogs ate their food and drank down their water. When finished, he put his plate and glass in the sink with hers.

"Guess I better go get to work on my order," Saia spoke up as she started heading for the hallway and paused looking back at him. "Maybe you can sketch out a few more ideas to do and get them ready to burn into? And we can check to make sure the varnish is all set up and dry on your other one so we can get that one ready to put up to sell."

"Sure," Loki replied inclining his head slightly before following her down the hall and to his room where he got dressed while she headed to hers to get dressed. They got on their coats, hats, and boots and headed outside with the dogs, going to the garage.

Flipping on the heater, Saia grabbed out her figurines and set them down on the table then went to check out Loki's piece he finished. "It looks like the varnish is pretty dry now," she said flipping it over in her hands with a smile. "But just on the safe side we'll let it sit another day." She gave him a smile. "This certainly will sell pretty well." Loki gave a half smile before she put it down to the side and picked up another blank piece. "Why don't you make a few more with sketches to get ready to burn into?"

Inclining his head again, Saia handed him the piece of wood before going over and getting out her figurines she still needed to work on more as Loki grabbed the pencil she'd given him to sketch out his drawings on the wood. They worked in silence for a while, Saia glancing up at him every so often. She noticed he seemed very focused on his work though there was a slight furrow on his brow. She raised a slight eyebrow at him remembering earlier that morning when they'd woken up and he'd seemed in a playful mood until the dogs had barked to go out. And he'd been rather silent while making and eating breakfast too.

'Hmmm,' she thought to herself as she looked back down to her figurines and continued working on them.

As lunchtime approached, she set the figurine she'd finished down and looked up at Loki again. He'd gotten a few more pieces sketched and had taken the wood burner and started in on one of his pieces to do. She watched him for a moment before he paused and looked up at her.

"What?" he asked furrowing his brow at her.

"Nothing," she replied shaking her head. "Hungry for lunch?" He inclined his head slightly. "Alright. Why don't we take a break then and get some lunch?"

Setting the wood burner down and unplugging it, Loki grabbed his coat as Saia did after switching off the heater then headed for the door. Saia whistled for the dogs to follow and they headed inside. She had him make an easy lunch with her and as they sat and ate, she noticed he seemed more quiet as he looked towards the window and seemed to give a silent sigh. There seemed a distant longing look in his eyes.

"Is everything okay?" she asked as she sipped her tea seeing him looking away.

"Hm?" he asked as he looked back to her, his cup in his hands as well. "Oh yeah. It's nothing."

"Uh huh..." she said raising an eyebrow at him as she set her cup down and pinned him with a look. "What's got you so quiet today?"

"It's nothing. Really." He looked to the tea in his cup. She reached forward and grabbed the top of the cup and pulled it out of his hands without spilling the tea and set it down.

"Tell me Loki," she said giving him a look that said she wasn't going to leave it be until he told her.

"It's my birthday today," he replied with a sigh.

"Y-your birthday?" Saia asked raising an eyebrow in surprise and blinked at him. He just nodded. "Why didn't you tell me it was?"

He gave a shrug. "It's not really that important."

"Of course it is important," she replied. "It's the day you were born." He just gave a shrug. "So then how old are you exactly?" She remembered he'd said he was over a thousand years old before.

"I'm a thousand forty eight," he replied as he picked up his cup again and sipped his tea.

"Damn. I still can't picture living that long," she replied looking at him. He still only looked to be around her age though but she was curious and furrowed her brow a little. "Exactly how does that translate in equivalent to human years?"

Loki raised an eyebrow at her. She really wanted to know? "It would put me somewhere in my late teens to early twenties."

Saia gave a slight cough as she sipped her tea a little quickly upon hearing that. She patted her chest and cleared her throat. If that put him in that young, that meant she was older than him in human years. "So technically you'd be younger than me in age exchange?" she asked as Loki raised an eyebrow at her reaction.

"In equivalent, yes," he replied inclining his head. "But I'm not a child if that's what you're thinking." He took a sip of his tea again. "Our aging rate is very different from yours."

"I didn't say you were a child," she replied sipping her own tea again. "Besides, you certainly don't look it anyway." He raised an eyebrow at her. "And a lot more mature than some people I know."

"Like Brent?" Loki asked sipping his tea again.

"Yeah he's a selfish, immature ass," she replied with a small snort.

"So why'd you go with him then?" Loki didn't know why he asked but he was curious.

"He put on a good show of being nice and a gentleman," she replied sipping more of her tea. "Once we started dating, his true colors started to shine through little by little. I finally got tired of his shit after a while and dumped him. Of course he didn't like that and he's made sure to chase away anyone else since then."

"Sounds like he needs his ass kicked." Loki gave a small smirk at the thought.

"Maybe," Saia shrugged then gave him a raised eyebrow seeing his smirk. "Oh no. He doesn't need that type of kicking. He might be an ass but he doesn't deserve something so severe it'll kill him."

"Who said I would kill him?" Loki took another sip of his tea.

"That smirk on your face," she replied raising another eyebrow at him. "Promise you won't kill him?"

"You have my word," Loki promised with a nod. He meant it too. When it came to promises, he didn't tend to go back on them.

"Thank you," she replied with a soft sigh and finished off her tea and stood before taking her glass to the sink. "But seriously, you still should have said it was your birthday."

"Like I said, it's not a big deal," Loki replied standing as well and taking care of his cup after finishing his tea too. "Besides, all Thor ever wanted to do was celebrate with drinking the day and night away."

Shaking her head with a small sigh at him, Saia headed back towards the hallway with Loki following. She gave a whistle for the dogs as they got on their coats and hats again and headed back outside to the garage to work on their projects a little longer. Saia kept stealing glances towards Loki as he worked quietly on his pieces while she continued working on hers. She had several thoughts going through her mind about his birthday and what he'd said about Thor always just wanting to drink. Did Loki not like that kind of celebrating? He kind of reminded her of herself since even though she drank, it was occasionally and never enough to get wasted. Even on her twenty first birthday she only decided on a couple of drinks to enjoy the night. Poor Dante had taken the opportunity to drink himself sick on his though and regretted it. She remembered he'd sworn never to get wasted again, which was one of the reasons why her father had hired him as bartender at the pub. He knew Dante would be responsible after that and watch out for anyone else that he felt had had too much. That and practically half raising him as well with Saia like a son too since his parents hadn't been the most ideal either.

'Hmm...' she thought to herself as she thought of something and silently nodded to herself on her decision.

As dinner time approached and Saia decided to call it a day with work and they picked up their mess, Saia gave a whistle to her dogs to shoo them outside. She paused at the doorway as the dogs piled outside into the snow, barking and yipping.

"Go ahead and stay here for a moment," she said as she turned back to him as he zipped his coat back up after she'd shut the heater off and put on her coat. Loki raised an eyebrow at her confused. "I'm going to go let the dogs back inside and grab my keys. We're going out."

Raising an eyebrow at her as she turned and went out the door and shut it behind her, Loki blinked confused of what she was planning. But he figured he wasn't going to know until she came back so he waited until she returned.

"Where are we going?" he asked as she went over to her snowmobile and unhooked the trailer and scooted it to the side after handing him his goggles and put hers on as well.

"Into town," she said as she got on and started it up as she hit the button to open the garage. "Come on and get on."

Raising his eyebrow at her again, Loki slid the goggles on and put his gloves on before sliding on behind her. She maneuvered the snowmobile and headed out into the darkness towards town. Once there, she parked outside of her father's restaurant. Loki raised an eyebrow as he got off with her and followed her inside.

"Oh hey Saia. Tom," Dante said as they came in and over towards the bar area. "What brings you here?"

"Getting dinner," Saia replied and Loki furrowed his brow slightly glancing at Saia. She glanced at Loki and gave a small smile. "I figured it would be a nice change for a moment."

"Oh alright," Dante grinned. "Enjoy."

Inclining her head, Saia turned and headed towards a table with Loki following and sat down after taking off their coats and put them on the back of their chairs. "Oh hey Saia," the waiter said as he came over with a couple of menus. He looked to Loki and raised an eyebrow. "Haven't seen you around before."

"Oh hey Mark," Saia replied taking one of the menus as Loki took the other. "This is Thomas. He's visiting from out of town."

"Ah well welcome," Mark spoke up pulling out a notepad from his apron pocket with a pen. "Can I get you anything to drink?"

"Um...maybe just a glass of Merlot," Saia replied and looked to Loki as he looked at his menu a little confused then up at her. "Might as well make that two." Mark nodded writing it down but gave Loki a look. She knew it was the look that was given just before asking about seeing a driver's license for age. "Believe me, he's old enough."

"I'll get that right in for you then," Mark said with a chuckle then turned and left.

"What was that all about?" Loki asked a little confused.

"Here, alcohol isn't given to just anyone," Saia replied as she looked down at her menu a second then back up at him. "Here you're supposed to be twenty one in order to legally drink. It's that way in all of the states of America. In other countries, age can vary unless it's banned due to religious reasons. And here you have to show proof of identification for obtaining alcohol."

"Proof?" Loki raised an eyebrow still confused.

"Like a driver's license or ID card," she replied as she set her menu down and pulled out her wallet and driver's license and showed him. "One of these. This also allows you to legally drive too after taking a driving course and passing it." She gave a slight pause. "But that's only after you show further proof of who you are with a social security number and birth certificate and anything else they want to ask for."

"That sounds complicated," Loki said furrowing his brow again as she put her license away and her wallet back into her inside coat pocket. "Why not just use your family name as proof?"

"It's what the government does to keep track of people," she replied with a shake of her head. "Besides, there's way too many people to just go about saying you're such and such and your family is so and so." She gave another shake of her head. "Unlike in the past when there wasn't as many people and all that would have worked. Not nowadays."

"Hmm..." Loki furrowed his brow slightly as he looked down at the menu again as Mark came back with their drinks and some water to go along with it.

"Ready to order?" he asked.

"Um..." Saia started to say as she looked at Loki still looking over his menu. "Maybe another moment."

"Alright," Mark replied with a nod and turned heading over to another table.

"You know what you want?" Saia asked looking at Loki.

"Exactly how does this work?" he asked raising an eyebrow at the menu and flipped through it.

"You pick the meal you want on the menu and whatever it says with the side dishes that's what you get," she replied reaching over and pointing at one of the items. "So like if you wanted the steak here, you get a choice of potato and vegetables with it."

"Choice of potato?" Loki raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. You can can choose French fries, diced potatoes, mashed potatoes, loaded mashed potatoes, or a baked potato. But just one choice." She gave a pause. "And the meats are cooked to order so should you want it rare to well done, that's your choice."

"Hmm..." Loki furrowed his brow looking over the various items to choose from again as Mark returned.

"Think of what you might have wanted?" he asked pulling out his notepad again.

"Yeah I think I'll have the salmon dinner this time around," Saia said with a nod.

"Alright." Mark wrote it down on his pad and took her menu and put it under his arm before looking to Loki. "And you?"

"I'll have what she's having," Loki replied. Saia raised an eyebrow at him.

"I'll get that right in then," Mark said with a nod taking Loki's menu after writing on his pad again and left.

"Are you copying me?" Saia asked sipping her wine.

"Figured you would know what was good," he shrugged in reply and sipped his own wine. He gave a look at it before sipping it again. She gave a shake of her head at him.

"Hey Saia. Tom," Dante spoke up as he came over to their table. "Mind if I join you for a moment while on break?"

"Sure." Saia gave a nod to the empty chair to her right and Dante took a seat.

"So how are you liking it here Tom?" Dante asked looking to Loki using the shortened version he'd asked if he could use last time they were in. "Hope she hasn't been too hard on you." He gave a grin at Saia.

"You are so mean," Saia said with a playful grin at him and smacked his arm lightly.

"It's what little brothers do," Dante replied with a grin back at her then looked to Loki. "You have any siblings?"

Loki went to say no remembering the fact that Odin had lied all these years to him but stopped himself remembering how Thor constantly had called him brother up until their mother died and then when he'd pretended to die at the hands of Kurse. "Just one," he replied sipping his wine.

"Oh? Brother? Sister?"

"Brother." He could see Dante was about to ask if he was older or not. "Older."

"Cool! So you're like me then," Dante grinned. "Got to give our older siblings a little hell once in a while." He turned and grinned at Saia again as she shook her head smiling. "Speaking of which, I still got to find you a birthday present sis."

"But my birthday's not for another couple of months," Saia replied. "You have time."

"Yeah but I want to make sure it's great," Dante said with a slight pout.

"You know anything you get is fine goof." Dante just gave a grin.

"Hey when's your birthday Tom?" Dante asked turning to Loki again. "I'll get you something too."

"Today," Loki replied after raising an eyebrow at Dante then sipped his wine again.

"Today? Really?" Dante blinked looking at him then looked at Saia. "Why didn't you tell me it was his birthday the other day? I'd have gotten something."

"He didn't tell me either until earlier today," Saia replied giving Loki a pointed look that he raised an eyebrow back at.

"Well happy birthday then!" Dante gave Loki a grin. "How old are you?"

Loki gave Saia a glance as she raised an eyebrow at him. "Twenty seven."

"Oh so you're only a couple of months older than Saia and a few older than me. Cool!" Dante paused and looked up towards the bar. "I should probably get back to work before Sam gets after me for taking too long."

"He's in his office as usual?" Saia asked. She knew her father worked a lot but sometimes he'd be at home relaxing, letting Dante run the place too.

"Yeah. I'm surprised he hasn't come out yet to say hi," Dante replied with a nod as he stood up. "Probably busy with paperwork as usual." Saia nodded. "Well guess I'll catch you two later then."

Saia gave a nod again as he headed back to the bar. Loki sipped his wine some more as she turned her attention back to him and shook her head. "Little brothers I tell you," she chuckled. She looked up as Mark came back with their food in hand and set it down in front of them.

"Enjoy," he nodded as Saia nodded to him in thanks before heading off to check his other tables.

"So...?" Saia asked after Loki had taken a couple of bites.

"It's good," he replied with a slight nod.

"Good. 'Cause if not, I'll go get after Justin," she chuckled taking another bite of hers. Mark came back a few moments later asking if things were good, which Saia nodded before he left and let them eat.

As they finished up their dinner, Mark returned with a plate that had a piece of chocolate cake with some vanilla ice cream on it and set it down in front of Loki. Loki raised an eyebrow in confusion at it. Even Saia raised an eyebrow but realized who had gotten it.

"Don't tell me," Saia spoke up looking to Mark. "Dante?"

"Yeah he said to bring some," he replied with a nod and looked to Loki. "I'm guessing it's your birthday?" Loki inclined his head and Mark smiled. "Well happy birthday. Enjoy." He handed Saia the bill added up then turned and headed to another table again.

Loki looked down at the cake and ice cream with a furrowed brow. Saia gave a soft chuckle while shaking her head slightly at Loki's confusion. "It's cake and ice cream silly," she said as he looked up at her still confused. "It's a typical birthday treat. Go ahead and try it. It's good." She grabbed her spoon she still had and reached across the table and took some of the cake and ice cream and popped it in her mouth.

Looking at the dessert, Loki took his spoon and put some cake and ice cream on it before taking the bite. The coldness of the ice cream combined with the chocolate cake made for an interesting flavor but it kind of reminded him of the hot chocolate and whipped cream Saia had given him too.

"Good?" she asked. He inclined his head before taking another bite.

"Well look what the snow blew in."

Looking up, Saia turned to see her father coming over to their table. "Hey Dad." She gave a smile as he gave her a kiss on her head. "Finally come out for some air from the sea of paperwork?"

"Yeah I needed a small break," he replied then looked to Loki. "Cake and ice cream?"

"It's his birthday," Saia spoke up as Loki took another bite.

"Really now?" Sam raised an eyebrow at Loki as he inclined his head. "Well then, happy birthday." He gave a slight pause. "I'd ask how old but I'm sure it's old enough."

Loki raised an eyebrow at him as Sam gave a soft grin and Mark came back to get the payment for the dinner. Saia handed him her card and the bill before he went to go get that taken care of. Suddenly there was a clatter that came from the kitchen and Sam turned his head towards it and gave a sigh.

"I'll be back," he replied with a sigh and turned heading for the kitchen.

"Sounds like someone dropped some dishes again," Saia said with a sigh herself as Loki finished up his cake and ice cream and she drank the rest of her wine. Loki finished off his wine as well.

"Is it always this busy?" Loki asked furrowing his brow as he looked around at the place. The other day it had a few people in it but not a whole lot. Now it was pretty packed.

"Usually dinner tends to get more people yeah," Saia said then looked up as Mark came back with her card and the receipt. She gave a smile as she signed it for him and handed it back.

"Have a good evening," Mark spoke up with a grin to them both then nodded to Loki. "Nice meeting you. And hope your birthday is good for the rest of the day."

"Thanks," Loki replied with a nod at him before he turned and headed off.

"I guess we should get headed back home," Saia said as she stood and grabbed her coat and put it back on after putting her card back in her wallet. Loki followed putting his coat on and she headed up towards the bar again where Dante was at.

"Hey did you get your dessert?" Dante asked with a grin at Loki. He inclined his head. "It's the least I could do on the spur of the moment."

"Thank you," Loki replied with a slight nod. And he meant it too. Honestly it was one of the first real nice things he'd gotten in a while for his birthday besides Thor dragging him to the taverns to drink.

"No problem," Dante replied with a grin then looked up as Sam came over with his coat on. "Are you leaving boss?"

"Just walking them out," Sam replied looking to the two. "And get some fresh air for a moment."

"Ah alright. Hey see you two later alright? Enjoy the rest of your birthday Tom."

Heading outside, Saia and Loki put on their hats, gloves, and snow goggles again. Saia went over to the snowmobile to start it up when Sam spoke up quietly to Loki.

"You know I don't have much say in what she does with her life since it is hers to do with what she will," he said just outside the door and Loki turned to look at him. "But I can see you're taking care of her and I thank you for that." Loki gave a blink at him as he unzipped his coat a little and pulled out a small rectangular box from an inside pocket and handed it to him.

"What's this for?" Loki asked looking at the simple wooden box that had the clasp closed on the front so it wouldn't fly open.

"A present," Sam replied with a soft smile. "Go ahead and open it when you get home." Loki gave another blink but nodded and stuck it into an inside pocket of his coat as Saia came back over after having started the snowmobile. Sam gave her a hug and kiss on her forehead. "Drive safe out there."

"I will Dad," she replied with a chuckle. "You know I do."

"Take care." Sam nodded to Loki again. "And happy birthday."

Heading over to the snowmobile, Saia got on and Loki right behind her. She gave a little rev of the engine as she put her snow goggles down and nodded to her father as he raised his hand and gave a wave and took off down the street heading for home. Loki leaned closer to her a little as they wound through the pathway to home wondering the whole time what was in the box that Sam had given him.

Getting back to the house, Saia pulled into the garage and parked the snowmobile and both of them headed inside the house while she let the dogs out for a few moments. Loki hung up his coat and pulled out the box before heading down to the living room while Saia said she'd be right back and headed down the hallway to her room.

Sitting down on the couch, Loki looked to the box in his hands and turned it over. There was nothing special about the darkened finished wood on the outside to give it away what it was. So he opened the clasp holding it shut to find a knife with an ivory hilt a few inches long made out of what appeared to be some sort of bone. There was a wolf carved into it that was howling up at the sky that had what appeared to be a cloud and a small bolt of lightning carved in as well. A leather sheath covered the blade that was a few inches in length as well. He gave a blink as he picked up the knife in its sheath and set the box down before pulling the blade from the sheath.

"What do you got there?" Saia asked as she came back into the room and over towards him with her hands behind her back. She gave a blink as she recognized the knife in his hands. "That's...did my dad give that to you?"

"Yeah," Loki replied with a nod as he looked at the knife still. He studied the handle and furrowed his brow slightly.

"Wow. You should be lucky," she spoke up and he looked to her furrowing his brow more in confusion. "That's been handed down in his family for a few generations. It usually goes to the first born son. Since he was an only child, he got it. And since I'm his only daughter...well..." She gave a slight pause as Loki raised an eyebrow at her. "It's a symbol of the Thunderwolf line. The wolf howling at the thunder cloud for Thunderwolf."

Loki gave a blink at the knife remembering the words Sam had spoken upon giving it to him. Was this some sort of approval on something from him? He furrowed his brow a little wondering why he hadn't given it to Saia but given she had said it was usually meant for the first born son...

"Um...well...it's not a whole lot and all," Saia spoke up and Loki looked from the knife up to her again as she stood there hands still behind her back. He furrowed his brow at her as he sheathed the blade and set it back in its box. "I was going to save it for Christmas since that's what I got it for but I figured since it was your birthday and all too...well...here."

Bringing her hands forward to reveal what she had behind her back, Loki looked to see a book in her hand and a metal box with pencils drawn on the outside of it. He furrowed his brow slightly again as she held them out to him and he took them.

"What are these for?" he asked as he opened the cover of the book to find a blank page inside and flipped a few more blank pages then looked to the pencil box before back to her.

"It's a sketchbook and some proper sketching pencils with various leads to draw with," she replied. "After seeing your drawings the first time, I kind of ordered them. That's what those packages were I got the other day."

Loki gave a blink at the gifts. It reminded him a little of the books that his mother would get him for his birthday, especially when he was younger. "Th-thank you," he spoke up looking at her and gave a soft smile. Again, he honestly meant it.

"You're welcome," she replied with a smile herself then looked towards the front door. "I better go let the dogs back inside."

Turning she left the room, leaving Loki looking at the gifts. He could hear the dogs come back inside and the sound of Saia filling their bowls with food. The sound of soft footsteps brought his attention up as Saia headed past and back down the hallway again a couple of moments later.

"Hey Loki? Will you come here a minute?" Saia called from down the hallway. Loki furrowed his brow slightly as he set the sketchbook and pencil box down next to his notebook and binder and shut the box with the knife before getting up and going down the hallway to her room where the light was on.

Coming inside the room, Loki raised an eyebrow at her standing there at the end of her bed. "What did you want?" he asked.

"I...have another present for you," she said looking at him as she came over and shut her door and turned to him again. He raised an eyebrow at her as she stepped forward and looked up at him.

"Like what?" he asked though with what was going on, he had an idea immediately what it was. She reached up and tugged the front of his shirt so he leaned down a little and kissed him on the lips softly.

"Me," she whispered as she broke the kiss, whispering it against his lips. He raised an eyebrow at her as she let go of his shirt and pushed him backwards to the end of the bed and he half fell back into a sitting position as she straddled his waist kissing his lips again. He ran a hand up to the back of her neck into her hair as he deepened the kiss and wrapped an arm around her lower back pulling her closer to him.

Breaking the kiss, Saia pulled back from him a little and tugged up on his shirt and he let her pull it off him and toss it to the floor. He reached for hers and pulled it up off her adding it to the pile before unhooking her bra and slid it off her as well. He gave a purring growl as he kissed her chest before pulling back and went to pick her up in his arms.

"Nope," she said with a smirk as she stood up and he furrowed his brow at her. She pulled him to his feet before pushing him backwards along the side of the bed and down again so his head landed by the pillows and straddled his waist again. She gave him a kiss again before whispering against his lips. "This time, I'm going to make sure you are satisfied."

Running her hands down to his waist, she undid his jeans and tugged them down. He helped to wriggle out of them and his boxers before she stood up and took hers off before straddling his waist again and leaned down kissing his lips. He ran his hands up from her waist to her shoulders and one hand up into her hair as he deepened the kiss. Then she broke the kiss, and started kissing down his neck. She felt him give a shiver and an audible moan as she kissed the side about halfway down where she'd noticed three freckles that were there before in an upside down triangle. Obviously that was a very sensitive spot on his neck.

"Mmmm. Did I find a weak spot of yours?" she purred against his neck in that spot as he shuddered again. "I did didn't I?" He gave another shudder as she kissed him again there and he gave another moan as she felt him get more aroused.

Kissing down further to his chest, Saia kissed it just as he'd done to her. He gave another shudder as her lips kissed and caressed him much like he did to her. Never had any woman done something like this to him. They'd always demanded he pleasure them.

Giving a gasping moan as she kissed down to his arousal, the feel of her warm lips enveloping him was enough to make him want her more. He threaded his hands into her hair as she pleased him for several moments, sending waves of pleasure up through him. When he felt himself nearly over the edge though, she paused and pulled back before lightly nipping him. That earned a moan out of him as he flexed his fingers against her head.

Sliding up along him as she kissed her way back up to his lips, she smirked teasingly at him as he looked up at her with his glazed over eyes. She had an idea to make him do what he'd done to her the time he'd showed her how much stamina he really had. Moving her hand down as she leaned over him, she reached back and wrapped it around him and smirked as he gave a slight jerk.

"Say my name," she purred at him and squeezed him a little as she moved her hand up and down him once.

"Saia," he moaned as she squeezed him again. He realized what she was doing just like he'd done to her with teasing her before taking her again.

"Mmm...again," she purred as she squeezed him again. He moaned her name again and even she gave a shiver at how her name rolled off his tongue in his moan. "One more time." She gave him another squeeze and smirked with his breathy moan as he gripped the blankets in his hands this time at his sides.

Shifting again as she sat back away from his lips and moved to straddle his waist again, she guided him into her as she slid down over him until she fully sheathed him inside her. She gave a moan as he did. Then she leaned forward and captured his lips again as she rocked her hips back and forth against him. He gave another moan at the feel of her taking control and started to wrap his arms up around her shoulders as she broke the kiss and sat back a little. He gave a furrow of his brow up at her as she took his right hand and placed it up against her chest over her heart as she put her own right hand against his chest over his heart. She gave a soft smile as she returned to rocking her hips against him and moaned.

Loki gave a moan himself as she continued rocking herself against him. Never before had a woman done this for him either. Especially putting his hand to her chest so he could feel her heartbeat just as she had her hand to his to feel his really made him feel connected to her. Even though her heart beat faster than his, it still brought to him the sense of her connecting with him like no other woman did before.

Feeling her slow a little more as she leaned over him and moving her hand holding his to her chest to support her beside him, her hair tickling his chest lightly, he moved his hands down to her waist. Then sliding them down to cup her butt, he lifted his hips as she came down on him to match her movements. She gave a moan as he hit a sensitive spot deep within her before he leaned up and captured her lips in a kiss.

Feeling her as she finally went over the edge, Loki thrust up into her a few more times before letting himself go as well. The rippling pleasure that spread through him made him moan as she did before she collapsed down on him, panting against his shoulder and neck where it was sensitive on him. It caused him to shudder a little more as they lay there catching their breaths, feeling each others' hearts beating in their chest.

"Satisfied?" she asked in a whisper against his neck before kissing his sensitive spot and felt him shudder.

"Mmmm maybe," he replied with a soft moan as she kissed him again. He had to admit that for once he actually did seem to be.

"You're welcome," she smirked against his neck before sitting back slightly and looked down into his blue eyes.

Loki looked up into her green eyes gazing back at him glazed over with passion. But there was something more deep down in them but he couldn't put his finger on it. And the way she'd taken her time to make sure he was satisfied instead of just like every other woman just wanting their own satisfaction. It touched him in a way that nothing else did. And honestly, it warmed his heart a little in ways he couldn't explain either. Not to mention that she had tried to make his birthday nice with taking him to dinner and giving him gifts that she knew he'd enjoy.

Reaching up to cup her cheek with his hand, he pulled her down to him and kissed her softly and gently. She deepened it and he threaded his fingers with his other hand in her hair that fell down and tickled him slightly again across his neck.

Breaking the kiss, Saia laid her head down against his shoulder as he gently massaged his fingers against her head, fingers still threaded in her hair. She gave a soft sigh feeling his heartbeat against her chest knowing he could feel hers as well. The feelings she had for him were overwhelming her mind as she laid there in his arms. She wanted so much right then to say the words that she loved him but she knew that he obviously didn't feel the same way back. His words of wanting to still find the loophole in the banishment and get back to Asgard echoed in her mind from the other day when he had talked about it.

'Just forget about it,' she thought to herself as she continued to lay there as he moved his hand down to trace his fingers lightly across her bare back. She would just enjoy the moment and the time spent with him.

Loki gave a soft sigh as she laid there in his arms while he lightly traced his fingertips across the smooth skin of her back. He still had to admit that he hadn't expected something like this from her. And the fact he felt satisfied and strangely peaceful just laying here with her. It was like the other day when she'd been upset and he had drawn a bath for them and she'd just laid there, head on his chest, quietly listening to his heartbeat. Never had anyone stirred feelings like this up in him. Then again, no one had taken their time to just enjoy doing simple things to him either. It really confused him what to think about it all.

'She's just another mortal,' he thought to himself with a soft sigh as he continued tracing his fingers across her back lightly. 'And I still need to get back to Asgard. There's no other way around it.' She gave a soft sigh in his arms. The words of her little friends with benefits deal echoed in his thoughts as well. 'Just another mortal...'

Suddenly the sound of something clattering down the hall got Saia to raise her head quickly and look towards the door with a groan. Loki paused in his light caresses on her back. She put her forehead back on his shoulder a moment before starting to get up.

"I better see what they knocked over," she said with a slightly agitated sigh. Loki reached up and pulled her back down for a kiss before letting her go and she raised an eyebrow at him. He just smirked as she shook her head and got up, grabbing her robe from the back of the door and went to go out and see what happened.

Laying there listening as he heard Saia talking to her dogs and picking up whatever it was they did, he couldn't help but raise his hand up above him and look up at it. His thoughts were still scattered. But he gave another shake of his head before dropping his hand again and got up to go see what was going on.

"They just knocked over the kitchen chairs," she said as he came down to the kitchen to see her picking up the last chair and set it back upright and looked to her dogs giving semi-guilty looks. "You guys are goofs you know that?" She gave a couple of them rubs on their heads. "Can't exactly get super upset towards them." She gave a pause as she looked at him. "I could use a shower."

Giving a smirk, Loki went over and picked her up in his arms. She gave a slight eeping sound as she wrapped her arms around his neck and he carried her down the hall to the bathroom. Setting her down on the sink, he turned and started the water and getting it warmed up before turning to her and undid her robe before pulling her forward and she stood back up. He slid the robe off her shoulders before pulling her into the shower with him and under the warm water, giving her a kiss. She gave a raised eyebrow at him when he broke it giving her a smirk before reaching for the soaps and handed hers to her.

Washing up and rinsing off before getting out and drying off, Loki then picked her up after putting her robe over her shoulders and carried her down the hall to his room and set her on his bed. She gave a blink at him a little confused for taking her to his room.

"Are you really not satisfied?" she asked raising an eyebrow at him.

"Mmm...yes and no," he smirked back at her as he leaned down towards her. "But we did make a mess of your bed." He smirked more. "And you'll just come to my bed later on anyway." He gave a slight pause. "Besides, it's my birthday. Don't I get whatever I want?"

"You have a point," she replied then smirked at him as well and yawned a little. "Well since the dogs are fed and everything's shut down for the night and it's getting late..." She didn't have to finish as Loki smirked and pulled her to her feet before pushing her robe off her shoulders again. Then he picked her up and took her to the other side of the bed and set her back down again.

Going back around to the other side after flipping off the light and shutting down the door to a crack, Loki slid under the blankets next to Saia who'd already gotten under them. He reached over to her and wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her to him as she gave a slight eeping sound.

"Someone seems eager for me to be in his bed," she spoke up with a raised eyebrow at him in the dark.

"Says the one who gave herself to me as a present," Loki replied with a small chuckle and smirked at her in the dark.

"W-well I...I just..." she started to say feeling her cheeks turn warm at his comment but he only chuckled before kissing her.

"Get some sleep," he said after breaking the kiss and pulled her closer again and she gave a blink before tucking her head up under his chin and wrapped her arm around his waist as well, enjoying the comforting warmth he gave off.

Laying there quietly, Saia listened as Loki's breathing evened out softly, feeling his breath lightly against the top of her head. She could feel the soft throb of his heart beating in his chest against her forehead close to his chest and along her arm and hand still wrapped around his waist. She couldn't help but smile softly to herself of how he really seemed to have wanted her there next to him and insisting on it, even if his excuse was the fact it was his birthday and he was supposed to get what he wanted on his special day. Of course, she also had to give a soft smile at the surprised look on his face when she had told him she was one of his birthday presents. It was something she'd never done before for anyone, not even Brent. And the look on Loki's face after making sure he'd enjoyed himself really did leave her feeling good, especially afterward when she just laid there in his arms and he held her close while running his fingertips lightly across her back. It certainly made it seem like they were more like true lovers than just the friends with benefits proposition she'd made.

'If only,' she thought to herself as she gave a silent sigh and curled up closer to Loki and closed her eyes still enjoying his warmth. She'd just enjoy it for now and deal with whatever happened later on. She still hoped that maybe he might warm up more and there might be a chance for him to love her back some day.
