THe Town of Moonbright

Moonbright, a town located on the edge of a mountain, wasn't like any other town in the kingdom of Fiore. Unlike most towns, where people usually would interact and conduct certain businesses with each other during the day and sleep during the night, Moonbright was the exact opposite. Moonbright's citizens were nocturnal, preferring to spend their time enjoying the sweet and silent tranquility of the night to the the day, Moonbright citizens would spend the hours of the sun asleep in their beds, which is rather difficult to do so as spending all their time in the dark has given the citizens a small sensitivity to the light, so that's a bit of a problem, but the people don't seem to mind. At night, when the moon rises into the sky Moonbright operates like any other town, adults get up and go to work, children would go to school, people get married have kids, the works. The Moonbright is located in a specific location where the moon is positioned in such a way that it provides a substitute source of natural light, allowing the people of Moonbright to embrace and enjoy the night. And once a month, the town, the town would blow up in celebration as the moon becomes full,and people would gather in the town's square, located in the dead center of town, where the people would hold their Moon Harvest festival. The Moon Harvest is a celebration dedicated to all of the joy and greatness that the moon brings to the town every month. The people would make their own costumes to represent the night, they would also camp out in the town square(where a giant emblem of the moon is engraved into the ground) and sing and dance. Yep, this town seemed to absolutely peaceful, so why the hell would they require the assistance of a team of wizards to help them with a volcano?

Ross's POV, The Trains Bound for Moonbright

Grrrrrrrr,god listening to her every second of every minute of every day is REALLY starting to piss me off, more so than usual! And it doesn't exactly help when you're laying on your side trying to hold back the urge to vomit.

"*groans* can't. Take. Much more- *burps* ohh man* I groaned, damn that's one drawback to being a Dragon Slayer. I had completely forgotten about the motion sickness.

"*laughs* you really are pathetic human, you can't even stomach a simple train ride." I really wish you had a body so I could kill you.

"*laughs* you should see the look on your face, it's priceless!" roared Gajeel, which doesn't make any goddamn sense, cause he's a fucking Dragon Slayer himself. Awwww why isn't he getting sick?

^Explanation- You see for some reason Gajeel's motion sickness is not actually seen until the Second Day of The Grand Magic Games. Also before that, Gajeel had undergone extreme training in order to increase his power, so please don't chop my head off if he doesn't suffer from motion sickness.

"Hey leave him alone Gajeel" said a sympathetic Lucy, "He's already got enough to deal with without you piling on. What with that annoying dragon spirit he has inside of him, she must be giving one massive headache"

"Well when she puts it that way, it sounds like i'm trying to kill him." Please stop talking, please just stop talking.

"Juvia wonders what it's like to have someone living inside you." said Juvia, who began to blush. Wait, she's not thinking what what I think she is is she? "Then again, Juvia should know better. At one point her beloved Gray was inside of her". Yep, I knew it.

"Hey, let's try to keep this story clean!" said Lucy franticly.

*Fourth Wall Shatters* And now Lucy has shattered the fourth wall.

"Well Juvia" i said, straining to pick myself up. "If you must know, it *burps* being able to use Dragon Slayer magic, it's like having that constant condescending parental figure attacking you 24/7. *groans* And she…. is sometimes able to control some of my body functions."

"Like how?" asked Gajeel, and almost immediately I started to punch myself in the face, and since I was too weak to stop myself, lucy had to restrain me.

"Like that. According to her it what she calls "positive" reinforcement. Honestly Ross I don't see how you could've thought merging souls with a Snow Dragon was a good idea." said Lucy.

"Well Lucy if I hadn't merged souls I would still be dead and stranded in Purgatory. PLus, I got magic now, and I got to meet you guys. Especially you Lucy" I said with a faint smile. Lucy looked rather shocked, but not as shocked as Juvia and Gajeel

"YOU WERE DEAD?!"

"Hmm, I guessing you forgot to tell them didn't you human. I expected nothing less from you." Bellaruse I swear to god.

"Yep, he was dead, and as it turns out so was his dragon."

"but. But. But he's cute" said Juvia, which very well shocked me. Last time I checked, she would never say anything like that to any other guy besides Gray. I think I was the only one who realized it, Gajeel was too focused on the fact that I was dead, and Lucy was focused on making sure that I wasn't about to vomit all over her.

"Oh lovely, i'm going to be dealing with this for the rest of the -" I started, but I stopped, because either my esophagus just got shorter or I REALLY am about to vomit, "Oh god. Lucy open the window. OPEN THE WINDOW!" I yelled. Lucy quickly leapt to the window in a panic, and opened the window, then she grabbed me and hung half of me outside of it, and then, well you know

"*vomits*" That went on for about a couple of minutes, maybe I should've eaten that steak earlier. After waiting a few minutes, You know, just to make sure there wasn't any leftovers, I started to smell off. Bellaruse noticed it too.

"Bellaruse" I said, still straining from the motion sickness, "Do you smell that?"

"I feel that human. I can sense a strong magical presence near by. It's strong, and it feels so…..familiar" Familiar? oh god what does she mean by familiar.

Unknow POV

"Master! Matser! Master!" yelled a peppy young woman prancing and jumping towards the edge of a cliff. SHe didn't look any older than 19, with copper-colored haired, and baby blue eyes. SHe was wearing a raunchy looking outfit: a skin tight black shirt, showing off some of her cleavage, a tiny red tie around her neck, skinny gray pants, and a pair of high heels. The last noticeable feature was the mark on her left cheek. THe mark took on the shape of a red demonic looking blade, surrounded in flames, suggesting she may be part of a guild," Master, I Have great news" said the girl, stopping as soon as she reached the edge. When she arrived, a lone figure could be seen sitting on the edge.

"...you'd better have a good reason for interrupting me when i'm meditating Aria" said the cloaked figure

"I do master, I do. Do you remember that trip to you took a couple days ago." said Aria, leaning in to her master's ears. Upon hearing this, the cloaked figure turned to face the young girl, exposing half of his face, which had taken on the appearance of a dragon:Blue scales, a sky blue eye, and a set of fangs

"You have my attention." he said.

"*giggles* weeeeelllllll as per your order, we've been searching town after town, searching for any signs of another Snow Dragon Slayer, but so far we've come up with nothing"

"This story better get better"

"I'm getting there, give me some credit master" The dragon faced figure replied only with a scoff, "We'll as it so happens, one of the grunts has located a traveling band of mages heading straight towards Moonbright, and at least two of them are Dragon Slayers-*gags*" Suddenly the figures dragon hand was wrapped around the girls tiny neck, crushing her windpipe and blocking her airway.

"Do not toy with me girl. Finding that Dragon Slayer is my top priority."

""*Wheezes* I- I- I'm not….lying. They're here to answer the job request the people from Moonbright sent out a couple of months ago. they're….traveling with two female mages. They're about to arrive on the next train here." she said trying to pry her master's scaly hand off of her throat. But she need to, suddenly her master's nose began to twitch, and he released his grip, dropping his subordinate the ground.

"*moans* what's that smell." He said, "Oh that sweet, sweet smell. I recognize that scent all too well." Then the sound of a horn rang out in the distance, and the cloaked man look down to see an approaching train heading to the town below, heavily damaged by fallen molten rocks.

"You were right. There is a Snow Dragon Slayer coming, and he's brought a friend." he said in more aggressive and savage tone, "Oh sweet heavenly bliss, the time has almost come."

"The time for what master?" The man grabbed his cloak and ripped it off of his person, revealing more of his Dragonized body: Half of his body, starting from his upper left torso, making it's way down the center of his chest, and ending at his right leg, was covered in blue dragon scales. On his back was the same mark his female subordinate had, except this one was pitch black.

"The time has come for Heretic's Blade to act." he said, then he turned back to the girl lying on the ground, before the sound of the train's horn went off signaling it's departure, "And act fast, because it looks as if whoever he's with just forgot to drag him of of the train."

"Why would they need to drag him off of the train master?" asked Aria

"Dragon Slayers suffer from motion sickness Aria, meaning if I don't get him off of that train" as he spoke, a ball of ice began to grow in the palm of his hand,and continued to grow until it was the size of a giant boulder, " Then I can't truly become a Dragon. SNOW DRAGON ICE BALL!"

Ross's POV

Hmmm, i'm not sure if i'm hallucinating this or not, you know because of the motion sickness and all, but it appears as if there's something heading straight towards us. I don't know what it is, but it looks big and white, and it glistened in the sunlight-

"DAMNIT HUMAN, GET THE HELL UP!" Too late though, because something had actually hit the train, sending multiple train cars crashing forward on top of each other, and sending me flying across the car I was currently in, until everything stopped.

""HOT DAMN, I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER" I yelled at the top of my lungs, so very fucking glad that i'm not suffering from motion sickness

"Yeah, yeah congratulate yourself on not messing yourself later human. Right now we need to get off of this train train before something else tries to kill us."

"Oh yeah, like what?" Like magic(literally) a giant flaming ball of molten rock came flying in through the ceiling at least two feet from my person.

"Oh gee, I don't know, maybe the whole reason we came to this fucking town." Oh right, the volcano. Oh shit, the volcano. I quickly sprouted my Snow Dragon Wings and smashed my way through the roof of the car and flew back to the train , well not before I checked to make sure that there weren't any injured civilians.

I had to remind him, he's was about ready to charge off without even checking to make sure. Luckily, no one was leaving on the train.

*sighs* Why must you criticize me Bellaruse.

Because you're a dumbass, that's why! NOw get back to the story.

Alright, alright, so after I checked the train, I flew straight back to Moonbright….or what's left of it. The town had been completely devastated. Pieces of houses were scattered across the streets, which were covered in giant ass craters big that were probably big enough to fit a litter of bears. The buildings that weren't smashed to bits were lit on fire, and spreading fast.

"Ross down here!" I looked down to see Juvia calling to me while she was dousing the flames with her Water magic. Then came a loud crash and Gajeel came flying out the side of the wall clutching Lucy in his arms, with scorch marks all over his body "GAJEEL, LUCY" That wasn't the worst part, it's what came after that was the worst. Emerging from the hole came a huge hulking monster, with lava dripping from it's pores and it's gaping mouth. As soon as I saw it, I dove straight towards it and smashed it into the ground with a powerful SNow Punch, but that also made my hand catch on fire.

"AHHHHHH, HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT, MY HAND'S ON FIRE" I screamed as I ran back and forth. I tried putting out the flame with my Snow magic, but the damn thing wouldn't go out. Usually my magic would be able to quell fire, but when I tried to put it out, it would just reignite. So i dropped to the ground and started rolling, hoping that would put me out. I may have gone a little overboard with the screaming, so Gajeel slammed and Iron Club on my hand.

"WOULD YOU SHUT UP?!" yelled angry and burnt Gajeel.

"...yeah i'm good, thanks. Let me heal you up" Well, I was, until another molten ball of fire came smashing to the ground, breaking into a million pieces and revealing two more of those Lava creatures, "But apparently, that's gonna have to wait. We gotta take these guys down."

" You idiot!" said an angry Lucy, "I can't believe that you left us here to fight these things ourselves"

"Umm, I was stuck on the train, motion sickness, soooo" I said making a balancing gesture with my hands.

"Umm everyone, Juvia doesn't want to alarm you but.." Juvia meant well, being being made aware that we were surrounded by a huge horde of lAva creatures that was quickly approaching.

"Oh great, there's so many of them." said Lucy

"Ok guys what exactly are we dealing with here?"

"Well here's what we know: They're made of lava, heavily resistant to fire, although none of us know any fire magic" God thing Natsu isn't here then, or maybe it's a bad thing, I don't know, "And if we try to physically hit them, it'll set you on fire, no matter what." said Gajeel, transforming his arm into a blade

"Even if you've got water or Snow magic?" I asked looking to Lucy, who in turn showed me a scorch mark on her leg.

"I tried kicking it." Oh Lucy.

"It took all four of us just to take down one. Juvia recommends a new plan of attack."

"I have a plan-" I said drawing my bow, charging it up with my Snow Dragon Slayer magic, "ATTACK, SNOW ARROW!" I screamed as that first arrow pierced it's enemy, freezing it on contact."*chuckles* well since that worked, let's rock." I charged towards the first bunch of creatures I saw, with the others following suit.

OPEN GATE OF THE GOLDEN BULL: TAURUS" yelled Lucy summoning Taurus to the battlefield

"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Taurus roared as she sank his ax into the frozen Lava creature.

"Juvia and Gajeel will take care of the other, you two focus on these ones over here." ordered Juvia, but honestly I didn't have time to argue about it, "WATER SLICER" yelled Juvia, creating a wave of water scythe blades and striking a large portion of the Lava creatures.

"Nice one Juvia, but it's my turn. IRON DRAGON SCALES" As Gajeel covered his body head to toe in Dragon scales, me and Lucy continued our fight with our set of Lava creatures. While the strategy was working at first, using my bow quickly became useless when I...ran out of arrows *laughs* guess I should've bought some some more huh?

"You think?" Not in the mood Bellaruse.

"SHit! I'm out of arrows. LUCY, how you holding up?"

"HOW DO YOU THINK?" she yelled grabbing one of the Lava creature with her whip and slamming it into a couple fore of them, " This is insane, I've never fought this hard before.

"Well get used to it, there's a lot more where this came from.SNOW DRAGON ROAR" II yelled out, hitting the Lava horse with a torrent of snowy fury. But with each one that fell, another one rose in it's place. One of the creatures lunged towards me and pinned me to the ground, igniting both of my shoulders on contact, causing a detrimental amount of pain. As it rose it's claw to strike me down, Gajeel quickly knocked it off of me, but setting his shoulders on fire in the process.

"Jeez your dragon's right you are pathetic." he said, changing his arm into its Iron Dragon Sword form, slicing it's way through his enemy, "You can't even go two seconds without getting pinned down by an enemy, HAHAHAHAHA" He was so full of himself right now he hadn't even noticed the lava creature standing behind him, until I hit it with a Snow Dragon Snowball Barrage.

'Looks like you can't go a second to actually try to be cautious." I said with a smirk. Gajeel stuck his tongue at me. "So, is that all of them?"

"Yeah, it looks like it." said Lucy, carrying a couple of fresh burn marks on her arm, with Juvia chiming in with a couple on her back. I placed a couple of snowballs onto everyone's wounds and began to focus on the damage. After a minute, their wounds were completely healed.

"*laughs* that's gonna come in handy having a healer in our group." said Gajeel.

"Juvia thanks you Ross."

"Thanks, but it was nothing really. Nice job Lucy" I said turning to face her, " You managed to take down a couple of those things without the use of you spirits, well until this big guy showed up." I said pointing to the pervy hulking frame presiding over Lucy

"3Well what can I say? I couldn't help but feel the need to protect dear Miss Lucy and that Incredible bod her hers.3" he said eyeing her Cleavage, making Lucy somewhat uncomfortable.

"Well thanks Taurus I appreciate it." she said. Then the sounds of clapping filled the air.

"Bravo brave wizards. Bravo." The voice was coming from up above us, and on top of one of the building we saw 5 figures standing closely adjacent to each other, all of them wear an article of clothing bearing the same mark: A blade surrounded by flames, "It seems that you've managed to defeat most of my guildmates. How very fortunate for them, but unfortunate for you."

"Why is that unfortunate for us? no it's just down to the five of you." Gajeel said.

"Because, compared to us" the figure in the middle, with the cloak concealing his entire body, waved his hand, and one of his subordinates created another Lava creature out of thin air, only to have it destroyed with a single swipe of his hand, "These things are mere ants"

"WHo the hell do you think you are" Lucy demanded, but all that did was make the figure laugh, along with his comrades.

"You have never heard of us? Such a shame. The dragon chose you and she's never even told you the story of how we came to be?"

"Oh no, I knew it was them, I can't believe it's them"said a frightened Bellaruse, and that's not good.

"Bellaruse, you know these people?"

"Yes. Th-they-they're Heretic's Blade. They're a dark guild, whose sole purpose is to worship my teachings and spread my knowledge throughout the world"

"Wait, you had more than one disciple?" I asked.

"That's right. And the man standing in the center, that man" She directed me to the cloaked figure, "That is the first person I ever taught Snow Dragon Slayer magic to.
