By the way Malia is still 4 mths old.
Stiles Pov.
It was about 5:00 am in the morning when I woke up by the sound of a baby crying.
"What does she want?" Derek said, sounding like he had a hangover and was about to cry at the same time.
"Food," I said. I could feel Derek's breath hitting my neck. I could feel his warmth. His arm was under my head, it was the perfect pillow. His other arm was on my waist, and his body was behind mine. I didn't want to get up but I had to.
I picked up Malia from the cradle, and was on my way down to the kitchen. We were on our way up to my room again when she was done eating. She had already fallen asleep in my arms. Her tiny hands were holding my t-shirt tightly. When I tried to put her in her crib she made low complaining sounds, so I decided to take her to my bed with Derek and me.
I pushed Derek a little, and he slowly opened up his eyes. He smiled when he looked at me and his smile got even brighter when he saw Malia.
"She didn't want me to put her down, so I thought she could sleep with us," I whispered.
"I think that's her way to tell you that you are her new mother," he said and laughed. I just stared at him until he stopped laughing.
"Move," I said.
We laid as we did before Malia woke up, but this time, Malia laid right next to my chest.
Derek woke me up, shaking my arm. I wanted to say good morning, but ended up grunting. He looked at me, looking like he wanted to laugh, but he just looked at me awkwardly.
I heard a slight cough.
It came from someone behind Derek's head, and it most definitely sounded like my dad.
Crap.
I closed my eyes, hoping that he wasn't there.
"Stiles Stilinki, please explain to me why you two look like newlyweds," my dad said while laughing heartly. He was obviously out of his mind, but he was good at hiding… or so he appeared.
Derek stepped out of the bed while clearing his throat.
"Your friends are waiting downstairs, sleepyheads," he said, and walked out.
Derek looked at me, and I could see that his ears were quite red. "Lets get up," he said and ruffled my hair and smirked at little.
Malia's hands held my t-shirt in a tight grip, and I tried gently to loosen her grip, but with no luck. She immediately started crying.
Derek came out of the bathroom dressed and ready to go downstairs. He walked to Malia and lifted her up. Malia got quiet and just looked at Derek, and suddenly smiled. Derek started playing with her, and I went to the bathroom to change. When I got back Derek had already changed Malia, and stood with Malia in his arms, ready to go down.
"Ready?" he asked. Malia answered for me.
"Dada!" she said with a happy and energetic voice, clapping her hands together.
H"I'll take that as a yes," he said, looking at Malia with a huge grin. He opened the door and walked down the stairs. I took a deep breath and followed him. But I was shocked Malia had called me Dada.
Scott, Allison, Lydia, Isaac and Derek with Malia were on the couches when I came in. Everything was so awkward. Everyone stared at Derek who played with Malia. It was a rare sight, so everyone took a good look.
Suddenly, Derek stopped tickling Malia, and looked up. The atmosphere got even more awkward. Scott started laughing hard, and Allison tried to shut him up, but with no luck. Derek coldly looked at him and growled. Malia was about to cry, so Lydia took her, and this time it was her turn to look coldly at Derek and Scott.
"Congratulations dickheads, you made a baby cry! You must be really proud of yourselves," Lydia said while taking Malia in her arms.
Allison and Isaac laughed and Scott and Derek looked at me, with guilty eyes.
"Morning," I mumbled.
"Good morning, Mommy," Scott said playfully. Sometimes he was like a puppy. A nice, weird, big, friendly and overprotective puppy.
Sometimes I imagined ears and a tail on him, and on the other werewolves, but I decided not to tell them, and I decided that long ago.
I'm proud of my decision, but I would love to see their faces if I told them.
"Something happen lover boy?" I asked and grinned. My dad came out of the kitchen with a bottle of milk in his hand and a plate of sandwiches in the other. He laid the plate on the table, took Malia and left the room.
Apparently he could feel something coming up too.
Isaac started, "We have found them… or well, they have found us."
"The Alpha pack," Scott said.
Everybody had serious faces, and the atmosphere got tense.
