Jazmine had been staying for the hospital for a couple of days now. She was kept under strict observation, but that was under her parents orders instead of her doctors. Jazmine hated it. It wasn't like she was planning on jumping out the window of the hospital or anything. She knew that suicide wasn't an option, even before she attempted it. On that day, she felt like she lost control of her thinking. Her brain just told her to end everything.

Jazmine grabbed her sketchpad and started drawing. Maybe if they saw her drawing happy things, they would finally let her out of here. She decided to draw a flower. Jazmine sat and started drawing. She first drew the stem, then colored it in with her green colored pencil.

"I'm glad to see your still drawing."

Jazmine looked up to see a familiar face. "Huey…."

Huey walked in the room and sat next to her. "Hey…" He handed her a bag " I assumed you were tired of hospital food, so I got you a veggie burger. "

"Thank God. " Jazmine quickly opened up the bag and unwrapped the burger. " You're the best. "

" You're welcome…" Huey smiled lightly at her. "So,...uh..."

"This is probably awkward for you." Jazmine said, taking a bite out of her burger. " But I know what you're going to say; Suicide is never the answer, I'm an idiot for even attempting to do it, blah blah blah. "

" I actually wasn't going to say any of that." Huey sat next to her. " I came here to apologize. "

"You did?" Her eyes widened. She has known Huey for ten years, and he has never apologized to anyone in his entire life. Or at least, never to her.

" Yeah." Huey sighed, his normally scowling face looked sincere "I should have believed you when you said you didn't sleep with Tremon...I'm sorry Jazmine."

"No, No." Jazmine reached over and held his hand. "I should of told you what was going on…."

"Why...didn't you tell me?" Huey asked, hurt in his eyes. " Or anybody?"

"As soon as what happened to me happened ...I just wanted to forget all about it." Jazmine admitted. " I wanted to sweep it under the rug, like an insect. But then...all of this happened."

"Jazmine, you don't need to go through these things alone. " Huey held her hand, looking into her eyes. " Cindy, Riley, your father, and I, have ALWAYS been here for you when you needed us. That's NEVER going to go away. So, you don't need to hide anymore."

"I'm sorry…" Jazmine looked away from him.

"Don't be." Huey turned her face so she was looking at him. "We're going to help you get through this. Tremon was arrested last night. Your hospital results came back positive. There is no chance in hell that he is going to walk out a free man. "

"Huey, remember the trial?" Jazmine sighed. "It took until a few years after his trial to finally be exposed, but he's still out free. And Tremon has MONEY, so he could probably afford the best lawyers around."

"Jazmine, I swear to God that I will not let Tremon continue to walk around Woodcrest. " He held her close to him. "Even if I have to kill him myself." He thought to himself.

"Promise?"

"I promise." He pulled away from the hug, and leaned in to press his lips against hers. Jazmine wrapped her arms around his neck. Even though they were only broken up for a few days, it felt like an eternity.

"God, I missed you." Huey said when he pulled away from the kiss.

"Awhhhh…" Jazmine smiled.

"What?" Huey raised his eyebrow.

"That was the first time you've said that without me pestering you!" She giggled.

Huey sighed, kissing her forehead. " I'm glad you're getting back to normal."

Cindy had stayed up until 3 a.m at her keyboard. In middle school, she discovered she had a talent besides basketball; it was writing songs. Her mother made her play piano when she was younger, but she hated at the time. She decided to start playing it again when it came to writing songs. She had a decent amount of followers on SoundCloud. Normally, she rapped about partying, clubbing, guys, and her father. This time, she wrote something more serious and personal.

I find it funny how a smile can hide a broken heart,

And how the masking of your feelings is a secret art.

Would you have seen it coming? I know she hides it well;

The whole world is really under this girl's tragic spell.

Thinking nothing of the glare in her big brown eyes;

Little do they know, they're a great disguise.

She wakes up, watches the sun rise,

Starts reeling off the bucket loads of sad lies.

"Are you alright?"

"Yes, " she replies.

No one can hear the scream of her internal cries.

She thinks there's no hope and no faith left to give.

Feels no reason and no purpose for her soul to live.

How could you take this girl, and make her feel secure?

Then go grab your mates, and make her feel impure?

'Cause now she's damaged forever and her thoughts are stained;

With every memory you gave her you should be ashamed.

Did you like it when you heard her screaming out in pain?

I bet the thought of it, is driving her insane.

One of the worst crimes that you could commit;

And for what? Just for your own selfish benefit.

And now she's thinking, "do I even deserve to live?"

'Cause what you did there is no way she could forgive.

She was so innocent, until that event,

You made an indent, on her presence.

Now she's forced to travel down her life on this path.

Guess you really didn't think of the aftermath.

Was it intentional?

Are you delusional?

Did you understand what you were doing at all?

What a waste of such a precious girl I will admit.

You took advantage of her and now you've ruined it.

And I just hope that one day she will recover;

And a genuine smile she will discover.

Sometimes the outside, it don't mean a thing.

'Cause this girl she's beautiful when you start digging in.

And I'll admit that, there's nothing left to say.

But I promise that everything will be okay.

And just remember that I'm here for you whenever.

It's gonna be that way with us forever.

'Cause you know that I'm never really very far.

And when you hear this song, you'll know who you are

So I hope you cherish the words that I wrote for you.

And I admire you for everything you've been through.

You are stronger than you'd ever know I promise you,

Just think back at all those awful things, you know it's true.

You're still standing here, healthy and alive,

And if you truly believe I know that you'll survive.

After numerous recordings and do overs, she finally got the tape the way she wanted. She was going to make sure Tremon truly knew how bad he fucked up her best friends. She wanted Jazmine's bullies to feel like shit for tormenting her. And most importantly, she wanted Jazmine to know how much Cindy loved and cared for her (no homo). She went to her soundcloud and uploaded the song. She even promoted it on all social media accounts. When she woke up in the morning, her phone was full of notifications.

Many people were flooding her instagram and soundcloud comments saying how much they loved the song and how they felt awful for Jazmine. Some of the people that were giving Jazmine shit even apologized. As much as Cindy appreciated people apologizing, it was too late. The damaged had ever been done.

Cindy's scrolling was interrupted when she got a message from Jazmine.

"I heard the song you made. I am so thankful to have you as my best friend. You've been my biggest cheerleader throughout all of this. I don't know what I would do without you. 3 3 3"

Cindy smiled at her best friends message. Even though more evidence against Tremon was out and he was locked up, the storm wasn't over. There was still court. Tremon had lots of money, and nine times out of ten, the rich get out with a slap on the wrist. If they really wanted Tremon to go down, they would need to get more evidence.

(A/N: The song Cindy sang is called "stolen innocence" by Courtney Parker! )
