Faster paced action in little to no time! Ok I don't know if that actually made much sense, but here it is! For those with time issues about this chapter, I just want to say Disney Town time in pretty non canon, so…uh…yea… sorry, I'm bad at talking, even if it is like this! I don't own Kingdom Hearts! But wouldn't it be cool if I did? Oh, and school's out tomorrow where I live, so here ya go!

"It's still the same…" I murmured as I walked through a festive looking world. My Keyblade was still mostly black and getting worse by the hour. Dismissing the weapon, I started looking around. Now that I look at it, this place looks like its celebrating something.

"Outta the way, slowpokes!" A voice called from behind me. I didn't even have time to turn around when the owner of said voice pushed me out of the way.

"Agh!" I skidded to the ground but quickly got up to see a someone dressed in a black and purple superhero suit. He stopped and ran back over to me.

"You gotta watch where yer goin', pipsqueak!" He yelled at me, putting his hands on his waist. "But I suppose I can forgive ya if you vote for me."

"Vote?" I asked genuinely confused.

"That's right! You've gotta vote for ole' Pete here-err, I mean" He jumped back, putting his violet cape to his face. "You've gotta vote for, the rouge racer, Captain Dark!" Captain Dark…. I really don't know if I should be offended by something like this. We suddenly heard a shriek coming from down the street.

"What the-"

"Don't worry!" Pete, or, Captain Dark yelled, running to the direction of the cry. "I'll save you! Just have your votes ready!"

"I don't think there's anything wrong with checking it out." I said to myself. With someone like 'Captain Dark' out there helping, I'll probably do a lot more then watch. Running over, I saw Captain Dark talking to a woman who looked like she was in distress.

"Now what is it Clarabelle?" He questioned.

"Oh it's just horrible!" She cried. "These monsters are invading the dance floor! They're not giving anyone a chance! I want them out!" I looked over to the multi colored squares, finding all kinds of unversed swarming there. Each time they had stepped on a few squares, a trap door would open up on an actual player, sending them down a chute and shooting up beside us and off of the floor. For someone who hated them I had to admit, they were really tearing it up out there.

"Monster you say!?" Captain Dark squealed, clearly terrified. "Um well..." Clarabelle put her hands on his hips, waiting for an answer. "It's just dancing, right? Then it's something I can handle- I mean... You're in luck, lucky citizen! For I, Captain Dark, will help all voters in their time of need!"

"I guess you're the only help we've got Pete..." Clarabelle shook her head and sighed, letting him on the dance pad. So his name really is Pete. He jumped forward and clumsily rolled as he reined some martial art moves.

"All right you lousy creatures, prepare to submit to the jam!" He yelled. I had to put my hands over my face in embarrassment for him. This guy was a real joke. Two seconds later, he was in the air, landing right beside me. I sniggered as he jumped back to his feet. "Hey, what's so funny?!"

"You're so hopeless, it's laughable!" Clarabelle started, thoroughly irritated. "It's impossible!"

"Um, excuse me." I intervened, getting her attention on me. "But, can I try? I just need to defeat those unversed, so I'll be out of your way soon."

"Ha!" Pete roared. "If Captain Dark can't do it, what makes you think you can do something?"

"Leave her be Pete!" She yelled at him. "You've been moooooore than useless today!" She started pushing him away. "Now, now deary, you can step up any time you'd like. Do your best out there!" She turned away from Pete and flipped a switch near the machine, stopping it. I peered over and found the unversed not moving at all. Stepping on, all unversed eyes turned on me, even some bystanders who were kicked off before. The contestant names were wiped off one by one as an empty strip was left in its place.

"It's Yami." I answered before they could ask. "My name is Yami." Immediately, the word Yami was inserted. Lights flashed as the music started from the beginning.

"Just stick to the rhythm and the patterns that glow before the monsters can." I heard Clarabelle behind me. "You're allowed to jump out of the way before the trap door opens up on you. Now bust a mooooooove!"

"Break a leg!" By the way Pete had said that, I don't think he was playing around. The unversed started swarming with the music as I tapped my foot on the glass floor. Feeling the rhythm, I caught sight of the first glowing floor piece. In a flash, I was on it before the unversed were. A trap door sprung under the nearest one. Summoning my Keyblade, I destroyed it before it could cause any more trouble around the area. I found one unversed stepping on a piece before me. Flipping back, I pulled a one handed hand stand on another piece before the trap door was activated on me, then destroying the unversed and jumping on another piece, destroying the other two left from the trap door.

"She's great!" A contestant cheered.

"She's okay…" Muttered Pete. Within minutes the floor was cleared with me standing in the middle. The few contestants there cheered for me.

"That was amazing!" Clarabelle mused on the sidelines.

"She wasn't all that!" Pete shouted, trying to get back on the dance floor. "I-urgh- I bet I can beat this- agh- chump right now." I noticed the name Captain Dark on the board next to my name. The music started back up again as he scrambled on the stage. My body weight weighed down the glowing piece that I happened to be stepping on, causing a trap door to send Pete shrieking down and back up beside the area. After a second of silence, there were cheers for me. Stepping down, Clarabelle took my hands in gratitude.

"Oh thank you very much!" She grinned at me. "I'm Clarabelle Cow. You've got my vote!"

"What!?" Pete screamed.

"I'm sorry." I said. "Vote?"

"Why yes." A voice said. We all looked to a person wearing a red ball gown.

"Queen Minnie!" Clarabelle said. Queen!?

"Ah…!" I started to bow before she stopped me.

"There's no need for that." She laughed. "Call me Minnie. And congratulations on your vote."

"Um, if I may ask, what's the vote even for?" I asked.

"It's for the Million Dreams Award." She replied. "It's part of our Dream Festival. We all vote for whom we think is the most exemplary citizen."

"Word on the street is you get a nice prize for winning!" Clarabelle noted.

"So that's what he wants it for…" I concluded. Clarabelle patted my back.

"You're a shoe-in now!" She assured me, glaring at an angry Captain Dark. A little while later, I was led to the front of a stage, where the winner was to be announced.

"Who do you think's gonna win this year's Million Dreams Award?" One person asked.

"Boy, oh, boy! I hope it's the guy I voted for!"

"I voted for him too!"

"Now that we got so much business in the shop, maybe we'll be number one!"

"Wow, Unca Scrooge sure would be proud of us if we actually won!"

"Yeah, an' I bet Unca Donald would be pretty surprised too."

"Hello, everyone, and thank you for waiting." Queen Minnie started, walking on stage with someone else. "Now, it's time for us to begin the main event of our Dream Festival- the Million Dreams Award presentation."

"Heh!" Pete chortled. "Just skip to the part where you say my name! This is a shoo-in!" I shook my head at him as Minnie continued.

"Oh, how very exciting! This year we have multiple winners. The Million Dreams Award goes to…Ventus, Aqua, Yami, and Terra. All four of you!" My eyes widened as the cheers rang out through my ears.

"Terra, Aqua, and Ventus?" I sputtered. "They were here?!"

"Whaddaya mean!?" Pete ran through everyone and hopped on stage. "There's gotta be a mistake! Everyone voted for Captain Dark. I made sure!" He turned to us. "Now, go on, tell her!" I looked away, finding that everyone else had the same idea as they turned their heads themselves. He started getting angrier before he got an idea. "Better try the other one!" in a matter of seconds, he went to the side of the stage and came out dressed in a lighter version of his Captain Dark outfit.

"I…I'm not even going to question that." I said to myself.

"Wearin' the mask of peace and hope…comes the fearless defender and leader of this town! It is me, Captain Justice!" I completely turned around out of embarrassment for him. This was just too much.

"Pete, we counted the votes very carefully." Minnie tried to console him. "Ventus, Yami, Aqua, and Terra won. Oh, Pete, I think you tried to do something good, but you were doing it for the wrong reasons, and you went about it the wrong way." She smiled at him. "Still, a couple of citizens must have thought you had goodness in you, because you actually god a few votes. They knew you were looking out for them." What can I say? I felt sorry for the poor guy.

"Big whoop! I don't need their lousy votes." He said. Well then! "Just cough up my prize!" As he made a grab towards the Queen, I stepped forward. Minnie however, had the situation more than handled.

"Pete!" She scolded. "They voted for you because they believe in you and care about you. How could you look down on that? I've tried to forgive a lot of things you've done, but this is too much. Now you've finally crossed the line."

"Like that matters to me. Besides, what are you gonna do about it?"

Minnie turned away from him. "Ha! I'm going to let you cool off for a while! Guards!" At that moment, walking brooms came up to the stage and proceeded to carry Pete off stage. Never underestimate a queen. I thought.

"Hey! Let me go!" He shouted. "What!? You can't- no- hey, easy!" As soon as he was out of sight, we resumed.

"Would the four winners, Ventus, Yami, Aqua, and Terra, please come up and join me on stage?" I hesitantly walked up on stage, expecting to see the three.

"Where…?" I started.

"Oh dear, it looks like our other three winners couldn't make it here today." I breathed a sigh of relief at her words. I don't think I'm ready to see them just yet. Minnie looked to me and smiled. "Perhaps you would like to accept the award on their behalf. After all, you've been so kind to so many here at the Dream Festival. So now, I hereby present the Million Dreams Award as a token of how much you matter to us. Congratulations!" Everyone cheered as I thanked them.

"Thanks everyone." I said. "I really mean it."

"And as an extra treat, we've created something special- an ice cream flavor just for you. Rainbow Chip Ice Cream!" She handed me an orange and purple striped Popsicle with white wafers sticking out of it in the form of ears. The front has a comical winking face of many colors on it.

"Oh, I wish I had my own ice cream flavor!" Someone said.

"What's it taste like?" Another asked.

"Go on, try it!" The talking died down as I took a small bite.

"Wow…" I beamed. "This is better than anything I've ever had…" It was true. It had many flavors mixed into one, but they blended in to make one amazing flavor. It truly deserves the name Rainbow.

"We're all glad you enjoy it." Minnie said, overjoyed. After the rest of the festival was over and everyone left, I sat down beside a bench, looking at the scenery.

This place is so peaceful, I thought. I'll have to visit here again, no matter what. Maybe even with friends this time. Sometime after I left, I noticed a world with only a castle there. Could that be…? I quickly landed there and looked around.

"This is it!" I realized. This is Yen Sid's castle! I knew it!

"Pardon miss." I turned around to see two people walking up to me. One had full body armor and another had a magicians outfit. "Sorry to bother ya, but the name's Goofy and this here is Donald-"

"Goofy!" Donald bonked him on the head. "We don't have time for that!" He looked to me. "Is your name Yami?" I blinked twice in surprise.

"Um... Yes." I answered. "But how did you-"

"Master Yen Sid knew you would arrive here soon. He requires your presence."

"O-of course..." What would someone like him want with someone like me? We walked up the long flights of stairs and finally made it to the top of the tower, where I had finally met Yen Sid the great and powerful.

"Yami." He said, his voice echoing with pure wisdom. Ok, maybe I'm over reacting a bit.

"M-m-master Dis Ney, sir." I bowed to him. My eyes widened as I realized my mistake. "I-I mean Master Sen Yid- I-I mean-" He silenced me by putting his hand up.

"Be calm, child." He quelled my panic. "You are under the tutelage of Xehanort, are you not?" I nodded slowly. "With whom else?"

"Um..." I stopped there. I developed a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. Like something horrible was going to happen soon.

"Well?" Donald nudged me. "Answer the question."

"Gawrsh." Goofy worried. "Do you think she's alright?"

"Well...I...you see..." I started to stammer, getting a light headed feeling.

"If it troubles you so, feel free not to answer." He finally freed me from the question. Why couldn't I just say it? What's wrong with me? "It appears as though time is not on our side."

"What do you mean, Master?"

"Eraqus' star. I am sensing it flicker. I fear it does not have much time left before it dies out completely." My heart skipped a beat. Master Eraqus looked like the picture of perfect health, light lover or not! I may be completely wrong and there may be many other reasons, but I think the only thing left is...

"Is he... Going to be struck down?" I asked in a tiny voice. He closed his eyes, breathing out. That had to be a yes. "But, by who?" Please, anyone but Vanitas.

"Xehanort, maybe with the assistance of the young wielder Terra as well." I heard both Donald and Goofy gasp as I didn't say a word. How could I when someone says my Master, the one who brought me in under his wing from the kindness of his own heart, would kill someone? Not to mention Eraqus' own bright and shining prodigy would be assisting in this. "I am aware that this may come as a shock to you, but there may still be time to prevent this. My magic has located Terra and Eraqus in the Land of Departure. But you must make haste-" I was out the door and speeding out to Terra's home world before he could say another word. It took some time, but I had finally made it. The first thing I had seen was Master Eraqus in pretty bad shape with Terra coming closer to check his condition. I breathed a sigh of relief.

"So there was nothing to worry about after all. A bit sick is all…" I laughed, noticing Master Xehanort come out through a portal. See, I was over reacting. "Master Xehanort will help the situation." But why in all worlds did I still have this horrible feeling?

"My own heart is darkness." Eraqus said, deeply saddened.

"He needs some help!" I concluded, racing forward. When I got to ground level, I deactivated my armor and started to run over. Surely Master Xehanort will know what to do. "Maste-" I stopped cold when he gathered a lethal looking amount of darkness in his hand, and...struck Master Eraqus... My eyes didn't widen, and my jaw didn't drop, but I still didn't quite believe what I just saw as he disappeared into light. There was only one word I could think of at that moment, and there I said it.

"M-Master?"
