So, here's part 1 of the 50th! Hope you enjoy!

I realise this is in the middle of a story so Part 3 of When Danni met Alex will be posted when this is done :)

~0~0~0~

The Doctor and Clara headed into the National Gallery, towards a set of double doors being guarded by two armed soldiers. He was still annoyed about UNIT picking up his TARDIS with a helicopter, what if they'd damaged the paint work? It had taken ages to get the TARDIS to the shade of blue he liked. Kate Stewart and her little friend with the very nice scarf were quickly following as Clara leant it close.

"Did you know her, Elizabeth the First?" She whispered.

"Unified Intelligence Task Force." He answered instead, the way he always would when she'd ask questions about his past. Thankfully her human brain couldn't hold all the information it learnt after her little travel in his time line, so he hadn't had to explain anything she might have seen.

"Sorry?" She asked as he glanced down at the wax-sealed envelope in his hand, apparently from the long dead queen herself.

"This lot. UNIT. They investigate alien stuff. Anything alien."

"What, like you?" She asked with a cheeky grin.

"I work for them." Clara blinked, surprised.

"You have a job?" She couldn't even imagine him doing anything else, let alone work for a living. The guards held the doors open and they headed straight for a large painting covered in a white sheet.

"Why shouldn't I have a job? I'd be brilliant at having a job." He defended, even though he knew that wasn't strictly true. Saying that, he'd done all right in the toy department when he'd gone to visit Craig. Of course he could have a job.

"You don't have a job." She laughed and he waved the letter at her.

"I do. This is my job. I'm doing it now." He insisted. Why was it so hard to believe? She didn't know about the chickens.

"You never have a job."

"I do. I do." They stood in front of the painting as two more soldiers pulled the sheet off the top of it, revealing something the Doctor never thought he'd see again. His hearts plummeted at the sight of the burning Citadel, the orange sky black and thick with smoke.

"Elizabeth's credentials, Doctor." Kate stated solemnly, knowing what the picture showed.

"But, but that's not possible." Clara breathed, the image meaning very little to her, but the layered effect of the image throwing her completely.

No More.

"No more." The Doctor repeated, those two words had haunted him for so long.

"That's the title." Kate explained.

"I know the title." He snarled. How dare they show him this! How dare they even have this!

"Also known as Gallifrey Falls." Kate continued. As she had been taught, she had to keep all emotions out of her work and if she hadn't she wouldn't be in the position she was now.

"This painting doesn't belong here, not in this time or place." The Doctor muttered.

"Obviously." Clara replied.

"It's the fall of Arcadia, Gallifrey's second city." He told her quietly.

"But how is it doing that? How is that possible?" She walked away from his side and up to the painting, reaching out to see if she could touch the surface, "It's an oil painting in 3D."

"Time Lord art. Bigger on the inside. A slice of real time, frozen." His voice turned to a dangerous whisper as he continued to stare at it. She walked back over to him, standing by his side.

"Elizabeth told us where to find it, and its significance." The Doctor reached down and took her hand in his, surprising her. His grip was tight, like he was scared.

"You okay?" She asked but he didn't turn to her.

"He was there." He whispered.

"Who was?"

"Me. The other me. The one I don't talk about." The room seemed to empty around him as he stared darkly at the picture. The picture that encompassed everything he'd done.

"I don't understand." Clara said worriedly. It was easy to forget how old he was, he didn't look much older than she did and it would slip from her mind that he wasn't her age. But in that moment, all 1300 years weighed down on his shoulders and she could see them all.

"I've had many faces, many lives. I don't admit to all of them. There's one life I've tried very hard to forget." He whispered, "He was the Doctor who fought in the Time War, and that was the day he did it. The day I did it. The day he killed them all. The last day of the Time War. The war to end all wars between my people and the Daleks. And in that battle there was a man with more blood on his hands than any other, a man who would commit a crime that would silence the universe. And that man was me."

On a desert planet, so many years ago and yet so far in the future, the man the Doctor didn't admit to walked slowly, carrying the burden of his decision on his back, in a brown sack he had found in the TARDIS. He was heading towards a dilapidated barn, the place he'd decided to complete his act, pushing the seemingly heavy door open and walking over to the centre of the room. He placed the sack on the floor and untied it, pulling out box covered in gears and Gallifreyan symbols. He touched the top of it, causing the inner workings to whir to life as he examined it.

"How, how do you work?" The War-Doctor wheezed, his voice hoarse from under use, "Why is there never a big red button?" There was a scurrying noise from outside the door and he stood up slowly, opening it to find nothing but sand outside, "Hello? Is somebody there?"

"It's nothing." A female voice replied. He spun quickly, alarmed to see two women at the box, one on top of it with blonde hair, another cross-legged on the floor, ginger and smaller than her friend.

"It's just a wolf." The blonde added. He rushed over.

"Don't sit on that!" He hissed angrily, grabbing her by the arm and pulling her off the box.

"Why not?" The blonde asked.

"Because it's not a chair, it's the most dangerous weapon in the universe." He ranted, dragging her towards the door and throwing her out the barn. He turned to get her companion to find her back on top of the box as if he'd never moved her.

"Why can't it be both?" The blonde asked, "Why did you park so far away?"

"Didn't you want her to see it?" The ginger girl asked and he looked down at her.

"Want who to see?" He asked, confused and a bit exasperated.

"The TARDIS." The blonde whispered, drawing out the 's', "You walked for miles, and miles and miles and miles and miles." The girl stood up, walking past him as if she was walking all that way.

"And it doesn't matter." The red-head continued, "Because she can see everything, so she'll see this. She loves her thief, she watches him always." She stayed on the floor, much calmer than her friend.

"I was thinking." He explained.

"We heard you." They both said in harmony, the blonde turning to stare at him.

"You heard me?" He asked, slightly horrified. Did they know what he had done, what he was going to do?

"No more. No more." The blonde repeated, voice low.

"No more." He whispered, the words echoing hauntingly in his brain.

"No more. No more." The blonde girl mocked, stomping her feet as she stormed around like a child.

"Stop it." He barked but the girl didn't pay any attention.

"No more." She kept repeating.

"Oh, stop it." The red-head snapped and the blonde did, pouting childishly, "Sorry, this is what happens when we have to be two people. The madness has to go somewhere."

"Who are you?" He asked her as the box began tick, the cogs speeding up. He dashed over to it.

"It's activating. Get out of here." He told the two, reaching out to grab it but it burnt him, the casing seemingly warming up due to the mechanisms inside, "Ow!" He dropped it again and it bounced slightly on the floor.

"What's wrong?" The red-head asked him.

"The interface is hot." He explained, looking it over but not touching it. How did it work?

"Well, I do my best." The blonde boasted, interrupting him.

"There's a power source inside." He continued, pausing as he heard what the girl had said, "You're the interface?"

"They must have told you the Moment had a conscience." The red-head replied, sounding slightly confused as to why he hadn't know that before.

"Hello!" The blonde girl waved, "Oh, look at you. Stuck between a girl and a box. Story of your life, eh, Doctor?"

"You know me?" He asked her, surprised by the fact she seemed to know her name.

"We hear you." The ginger replied, "All of you, all squashed in that head of yours. I wanted to choose a face important to you, but I couldn't decide which one so I chose both."

"They're from your past." The blonde girl hopped down off the crate she had pulled herself onto, "Or possibly your future. I always get those two mixed up."

"I don't have a future." He replied mournfully, turning away from her.

"I think I'm called..." She trailed off, trying to form the words, "Rose Tyler. No. Yes. No, sorry, no, no, in this form, I'm called Bad Wolf. Are you afraid of the big bad wolf, Doctor?" She asked, flirting with him.

"I'm just your Danni-Girl." The red-head told him, "No other names here, I'm afraid. Not that you call me, anyway."

"What's a Danni-Girl?" He asked despite himself and she shrugged.

"I haven't the foggiest idea." She replied with a frown, "Can't you work it out though, Doctor?"

"Stop calling me Doctor." He told them, trying to snap but all of the fight was gone from him. The warrior he'd regenerated into had slowly lost his drive, but he knew he wasn't the Doctor anymore.

"That's the name in your head." The blonde one said.

"The man you want to be." The red-head added and he looked away, glancing down at the box on the floor.

"It shouldn't be. I've been fighting this war for a long time. I've lost the right to be the Doctor."

"Then you're the one to save us all." The Doctor nodded with a little laugh.

"Yes." He replied and the blonde rolled her eyes.

"If I ever develop an ego, you've got the job." She exclaimed. The Doctor stood up, almost knocking Danni-Girl over and stood in front of Bad Wolf, looking her deep in the eyes.

"If you have been inside my head, then you know what I've seen." He whispered, "The suffering. Every moment in time and space is burning. It must end, and I intend to end it the only way I can."

"And you're going to use us to end it by killing them all, Daleks and Time Lords alike." Bad Wolf summarised.

"We could," Danni-Girl told him and he turned to face her, "but there will be consequences for you."

"I have no desire to survive this." She smiled sadly. This man intended to use them to kill all these people, and he could see it was wrong. They had to show him that there was another way.

"Then that's your punishment." She decided sadly, "If you do this, if you kill them all, then that's the consequence. You live." He sat down on a discarded tire, Bad Wolf appearing next to him.

"Gallifrey." She stated, "You're going to burn it, and all those Daleks with it, but all those children too. How many children on Gallifrey right now?"

"I don't know." He murmured, the images of children he'd never met dancing through his mind, all them lives he was going to destroy... would have to destroy.

"One day you will count them. One terrible night." Danni-Girl had appeared by his knees, playing with the hem of his tattered leather jacket. She seemed sad, much sadder than her counterpart. It was if all the joy of the conscious had been placed into one, and the sadness into the other. Bad Wolf didn't seem to care about anything but convincing him to change his mind, while Danni-Girl seemed to see the devastation his decision was going to bring.

"Do you want to see what that will turn you into?" Bad Wolf asked, nudging him when he didn't answer, "Come on, aren't you curious?" A large gush of wind filled the barn as a swirling vortex appeared in the air in front of them.

"We're opening windows on your future." Danni-Girl explained.

"A tangle in time through the days to come, to the man today will make of you." The two girls looked up just in time to see a fez fly through, landing with a thud on the floor, "Okay, I wasn't expecting that." They both turned to look at Danni-Girl, who shrugged.

"Don't look at me."

England 1562, the TARDIS landed in a meadow, a river flowing majestically past it, shining in the bright sunshine. The doors opened and a white horse galloped out to the cry of 'Allons-y!'. The Doctor, Ten, rode out with Queen Elizabeth I on the back and Danni in front of him. The two women were laughing in delight. He pulled the horse to a stop, turning it around so they could see the TARDIS.

"There you go, your Majesty, what did I tell you? Bigger on the inside." He boasted. She tightened her grip around her waist as he leant on Danni's shoulder.

"The door isn't." Elizabeth replied with a smile, leaning on his back, "You nearly took my head off. It's normally me who does that."

"We should move somewhere more comfortable." Danni piped up, secretly seething at the grip the Queen had on the Doctor, but as she valued her own head she couldn't do much about it, "Poor Arthur Two here must be knackered with the three of us on his back."

"Arthur Two?" The Queen asked, amused by the younger girl. Most people would cover up their red hair around her, worried that she'd be angry at another ginger but the girl didn't seem to care. She was almost as intriguing as the Doctor.

"We've already had a horse called Arthur." Danni explained as the Doctor directed Arthur Two over to a white and purple tent. The Doctor hopped off first, then helped the Queen down before Danni, keeping her hand in his as they headed towards a picnic laying in waiting and some cushions. They all made themselves comfortable, then the Queen laid with her head on the Doctor's stomach, nursing a golden goblet of wine. Danni narrowed her eyes slightly but didn't move to stop her.

"Tell me, Doctor," Elizabeth asked with a sly smile, "why I'm wasting my time on you? I have wars to plan." The Doctor rolled his eyes, thankful she couldn't see him.

"You have a picnic to eat." He replied and she looked up at him.

"You could help me." He reached over and picked a red grape off a bunch, holding it to her lips.

"Well, I'm helping you eat the picnic." He deflected, trying not to wince as she ate it from his fingers. Danni shifted next to him and he wanted to reassure her that he was just playing up for the Queen.

"But you have a stomach for war." She reached up, stroking his face, "This face has seen conflict, it's as clear as day."

"Oh, I've seen conflict like you wouldn't believe. But it wasn't this face." He shook his head, "But never mind that, your Majesty. Up on your feet. Up, up." He jumped up, knocking her over slightly as he did.

"How dare you? I'm the Queen of England." She exclaimed.

"I'm not English. Elizabeth, will you marry me?" He knelt down in front of her, Danni's eyes widening in shock as he took the Queen's hand.

"Wait, what?!" She shouted angrily before she could stop herself. Elizabeth didn't notice, instead was beaming in joy.

"Oh, my dear sweet love. Of course I will." She moved to kiss him but he jumped off his knees, smiling triumphantly.

"Ah, gotcha!" He cheered.

"My love?" Elizabeth asked, confused.

"One, the real Elizabeth would never have accepted my marriage proposal." He listed off, "The real Elizabeth would know it's either Danni or nothing." He turned to Danni, who had her eyes narrowed, waiting to see where he went, "Two, the real Elizabeth would notice when I just casually mentioned having a different face. But then the real Elizabeth isn't a shape-shifting alien from outer space. And," He pulled out a crudely made device out of his pocket, the top turning before it dinged like a microwave, "Ding."

"You mean you were planning this?" Danni exclaimed, "And you never thought to tell me about it?! I am English, she is my bloody Queen!" This was the problem of jumping around, if she wasn't there at the beginning of an adventure she never knew what was going on until someone told her.

"What's that?" Elizabeth asked shrilly.

"It's a machine that goes ding." Danni sighed, shaking her head in disbelief as it dinged again, "Made it myself. Lights up in the presence of shape-shifter DNA." It dinged again and he read the readings, "Ooo. Also it can microwave frozen dinners from up to twenty feet and download comics from the future. I never know when to stop."

"Are you going to keep it away from chickens?" Danni asked him and he turned to her, offended.

"You make one device that blows up chickens once and no one lets you forget it!" He moaned and she shook her head.

"No, we won't." She promised him. The Queen looked between the two, confused by the accusation and the banter.

"My love, I do not understand." She stuttered.

"I'm not your love, and yes you do. You're a Zygon." He stated slowly, leaning in slightly closer as he boasted about his find.

"A Zygon?" she repeated.

"Oh, stop it. It's over." He exclaimed, "A Zygon, yes. Big red rubbery thing covered in suckers. Surprisingly good kisser. Think the real Queen of England would just decide to share her throne with any old handsome bloke in a tight suit," He straightened his tie as the horse whinnied. Elizabeth's eyebrows shot up and Danni followed her gaze to see the alien the Doctor had just described where Arthur Two had just been stood, "just cos he's got amazing hair and a nice horse?" The Doctor turned to see the Zygon stood there, "Oh."

"Oh, poor Arthur Two." Danni said with a sad look. She hoped the horse was okay, she loved Arthur Two.

"It was the horse." The Doctor turned to Danni, alarmed, "I'm going to be King." Danni nodded and he grabbed her hand, "Run!" He cried, pulling both her and the Queen along towards a rundown wall.

"What's happening?" Elizabeth demanded.

"We're being attacked by a shape-shifting alien from outer space, formerly disguised as my horse." The Doctor explained.

"What does that mean?"

"It means we're going to need a new horse."

"It means you better find Arthur Two!" Danni corrected, "You're going to marry yet another woman, I want my horse back."

"Your horse?" The Doctor hissed as they watched the Zygon disappear from view.

"Yes, my horse." Danni hissed back.

"Where's it going?" Elizabeth asked. The Doctor moved over to her, taking her by the arm.

"I'll hold it off. You run. Your people need you."

"And I need you alive for our wedding day." She pulled him into noisy kiss, him tensing under the assault before she ran off towards a forest.

"Oh, good work, Doctor. Nice one. The Virgin Queen? So much for history." Danni smacked him hard on the arm and he turned to her. She glared then ran off towards the Zygon, still intent on saving the Queen, "Oh, good work, Doctor." He repeated angrily, "Stupid, stupid... Danni! Wait!" He chased her out and down a hill, pulling out his device as he joined her. It began dinging wildly as they rushed through the trees and the Doctor skidded to a stop, turning and seeing a rabbit sat on a stump.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Oh, very clever." He walked up to rabbit, "Whatever you've got planned, forget it. I'm the Doctor. I'm nine hundred and four years old. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous. I am the Oncoming Storm, the Bringer of Darkness," He ranted, kneeling down in front of it, "and you are basically just a rabbit, aren't you?" Danni joined him, cooing over the animal as she scooped it up in her arms, "Okay, carry on. Just a general warning." She placed a kiss on her nose, "Oh no, no rabbits in the TARDIS!"

"No marrying old English Queens." Danni countered and he sighed in defeat. He wasn't winning this one, was he?

"Doctor!" Elizabeth cried from somewhere beyond them and he jumped up.

"Elizabeth!" He cried, running off. Danni held up the rabbit to her face, using both hands to hold up the rather heavy animal.

"I shall call you Sebastian." She decided, giving it an escimo kiss, "Yes I will." She shifted him, holding him tightly, "Come on Sebastian, let's find us a Doctor and a Queen." She set off in the general direction the Doctor had headed, managing to find him realtively quickly stood to one side at two versions of the Queen circled one another.

"A Queen would feel compelled to admire the skill of the execution, before arranging one." One of them taunted as the Doctor shook the device, putting it up against his ear.

"It's not working." He snarled.

"One might surmise that the creature would learn quickly to protect itself from any simple means of detection." One Queen declared.

"Clearly you understand the creature better than I. But then, you have the advantage." The other replied smugly.

"One's the Zygon?" She asked him and he nodded, "And we don't know which one?" He opened his mouth to reply as a swirling vortex appeared in the air, pulling the Elizabeth's gaze off each other. The Doctor pushed Danni back before dashing in front of the Queens.

"Back, both of you, now!" He commanded loudly, "That's a time fissure. A tear in the fabric of reality. Anything could happen." He explained ominously, looking up at it with a look of horror that quickly changed to a look of confusion as a red hat came toppling out, landing by his feet with a thud, "For instance, a fez?" Danni sighed, turning to Sebastian and shaking her head.

"Oh Lord." She exclaimed in exasperation, "This should be fun." She walked over as Ten picked up the fez, putting it on. She looked up at the fissure, "Oi, Spaceman!" She cried, "What have you done now?" Ten pulled her back.

"Don't do that!" He scolded. She looked at him, opening her mouth when she caught sight of the fez, "One day you'll be able to just walk past a fez."

"Never going to happen." He replied.

"-mooo!" A voice cried as a man fell out of the fissure, falling to the floor with a larger thud than the fez had. Ten pushed Danni behind the two Elizabeth's as Eleven stood up wearing a purple outfit she'd never before.

"Stay quiet." He warned as Eleven brushed himself off, completely missing her. She loved the new outfit, she must have helped him pick it out. Then he added the bow-tie.

"Who is this man?" One Elizabeth asked and Ten looked him over suspiciously.

"That's just what I was wondering." Ten replied.

"Oh, that is skinny." Eleven replied instead, looking over himself critically as he turned to the side. He looked down at himself, "That is proper skinny. I've never seen it from the outside. It's like a special effect." He walked over and grinned up at himself, "Oi!" He knocked the fez off his head, "Ha! Matchstick man." Ten leant in closely, Eleven mirroring his moves as he figured out who he was.

"You're not." Ten trailed off, reaching into his pocket to pull out his screwdriver. Eleven did the same and they both paused for a moment before reaching in and pulled out their respective screwdrivers. Eleven smirked smugly before popping out the end and Ten frowned as he pushed out the top. Why was his bigger?

"Compensating?" Ten asked him and Eleven frowned.

"For what?" He asked as they pocketed their screwdrivers again.

"Regeneration." Ten shrugged, "It's a lottery."

"Oh, he's cool. Isn't he cool?" Eleven mocked angrily, offended by the accusation. Danni forced a laugh down, even Time Lords were sensitive about that apparently, "I'm the Doctor and I'm all cool. Oops, I'm wearing sandshoes." He pointed dramatically down at Ten's feet.

"What are you doing here? I'm busy." Ten hissed, pointing behind him. Eleven noticed the two Elizabeth's and grinned, moving over to pick the fez up.

"Oh, busy. I see. Is that what we're calling it, eh? Eh?" He flipped it on, placing it on his head and smiling at the two woman, "Hello, ladies."

"Don't start." Ten warned, walking over to him.

"Listen, what you get up to in the privacy of your own regeneration is your business." Eleven whispered.

"One of them is a Zygon." Ten pointed out and Eleven grimanced comically.

"Urgh. I'm not judging you." He replied.

"I am!" Danni exclaimed. There was no need for her to be hiding anymore, right? She stepped out, stroking Sebastian absentmindedly, "Do you both need to flirt with the killer alien? Really?"

"I wasn't flirting with the alien!" Ten defended. She rolled her eyes.

"You tried to ask it to marry you!" She snapped back before turning to Eleven, "And you..." She trailed off at the look on his face, one step from bursting into tears. She blinked, surprised at his reaction and passed Sebastian to his Tenth self, "Sweetie? What's wrong?" She walked over and placed a hand on his arm.

"Danni?" He whispered and she nodded, confused.

"Yes?" She replied, bewildered as he pulled her in for a hug, wrapping her arms around him and rubbing his back soothingly as he clung to her, shaking, "Hey, it's all right." She comforted, glancing over at Ten who looked just as confused as she did. She turned back to Eleven, "Sweetie, what's wrong?" She tried again and he pulled away, throwing her a grin as he forced the tears back.

"Nothing." He promised, "What's with the rabbit?" he motioned over to Sebastian and she took him back off Ten.

"It's Sebastian." She replied, "He's my new pet." The time fissure reappeared, ending the conversation as the two Doctor's turned to it, pulling out their glasses to get a better look. They both noticed the other's action and grinned, pointing between them happily.

"Oh, lovely." They both said before turning to the Queens.

"Your Majesties. Probably a good time to run." Eleven told them, taking his glasses off.

"But what about the creature?" They both asked simultaneously. Ten turned to face them.

"Elizabeth, whichever one of you is the real one, turn and run in the opposite direction to the other one." He pointed two different ways and they both nodded.

"Of course, my love." They both said as one ran towards Ten, holding onto his lapels tightly.

"Stay alive, my love. I am not done with you yet." She pulled him in for a kiss before rushing away.

"Thanks. Lovely." Eleven nodded with a slight glare, pulling Danni up closer to him. The other Elizabeth ran up to him, grabbing him in much the same way.

"I understand. Live for me, my darling. We shall be together again." She pulled him into another kiss before dashing off in the opposite direction as her counterpart.

"Well, won't that be nice?" Ten replied quietly, not really knowing what to see. Eleven eyed him angrily before turning to watch the last Elizabeth run away.

"One of those was a Zygon." He pointed out and Ten nodded.

"Yeah."

"One of them was the bloody Queen." Danni snapped, stroking Sebastian to calm herself down. Ten smiled guiltily at her, running his hand through his hair.

"Yeah..." Eleven interrupted him apologising by pulling Danni in for a kiss of his own, causing Sebastian to let out a squeak as he was squished between the two. Danni replied instantly, smiling at the feel of his lips on her. She hadn't seen Eleven in a while and she loved when he kissed her. He pulled back with a similar sad face as he had before and she frowned, worried. Why was he so sad to see her?

"Doctor, is that you?" A female voice called from the vortex and Danni frowned.

"Who the hell's that?" She asked, not recognising the voice. Eleven turned to it, ignoring her.

"Ah, hello, Clara. Can you hear me?" He called up.

"Clara?" She asked, "Who's Clara?"

"Yeah, it's me. We can hear you. Where are you?" The voice asked.

"Where are we?" Eleven asked, turning to his younger self.

"England, 1562." Ten called up to the voice.

"Who are you talking to?" Clara asked.

"Myself." They both answered, turning to look at each other, amused.

"And me!" Danni called, "Although they won't tell you that!"

"Can you come back through?" Another voice came through.

"Kate Stewart!" Danni cried, instantly recognising the woman's voice, "It's me! Hello!"

"Physical passage may not be possible in both directions. Its." He trailed off, an idea coming to him, "Ah! Hang on. Fez incoming!" He chucked the fez into the vortex.

"Nothing here." The Clara girl answered after a small pause.

"So where did it go?" Ten asked lowly.

"Can you remember any other fezzes popping up in your past?" Danni asked them and they shook their heads.

"Okay, you used to be me, you've done all this before. What happens next?" Ten asked Eleven.

"I don't remember." Eleven simply replied.

"How can you forget this?" Ten motioned between the two of them, annoyed. This was the man Danni kissed? Why on Earth would she do that?

"Hey, hang on. It's not my fault. You're obviously not paying enough attention. Reverse the polarity!" They both aimed the screwdrivers at the fissure and proceeded to reverse the polarity, causing nothing to happen. Danni sighed, stepping in between them.

"It's not working." Eleven stated, confused.

"You're both reversing the polarity." Danni pointed out, something Ten seemed to have also realised but Eleven was still oblivious to their very obvious error. Even she had noticed the moment they had started, it was wonder he could put his shoes on the right feet. She glanced down, yep, the right feet.

"Yes, I know that." Eleven told her.

"There's two of us. I'm reversing it, you're reversing it back again. We're confusing the polarity!" Ten exclaimed as another man fell out the fissure, someone Danni didn't recognise. The two Doctor's tensed at the tattered old man, with white facial hair and a fez in hand.

"Anyone lose a fez?" He asked, holding the hat up. Both Doctor's placed a hand on Danni, pushing her back and closing in, blocking her from the man as they glared at him.

"You. How can you be here? More to the point, why are you here?" Ten asked as the man smiled, clasping his hands behind his back.

"Good afternoon. I'm looking for the Doctor."
