Sometimes it seemed that all Peter and Wade knew how to do was fight. Peter wanted to take it all back. It upset him to think that Wade didn't realize that Peter loved him, not hated him. But their last fight made it hard to believe that they didn't hate each other.
"Oh just shut up Wade! No one wants to hear it! No one wants to hear anything from you!" Peter shouted.
"Oh-oh excuse me! I didn't realize that I was so terrible to you!" Wade shouted back. Peter gave a frustrated yell and threw a pillow at Wade's head. Wade stared at him for a minute then stalked out of the room. Peter knew some slamming sounds then nothing.
When he had looked around, he saw that Wade was nowhere to be found in the house. Now Peter sat on their bedroom floor, waiting for Wade to walk through the door. Waiting to apologize, to take it all back.
