Brave it Out
Summary: The boy was so much like her as a child that it scared Naruto. He was ignored, bullied and no one helped him, they just watched or laughed. She would try to find a way to go home later, because now, she had a Dame to help. FemNaru.
Beta: CeresNamikaze (No one is perfect, so maybe you can find an error here and there!)
Just a warning: FemNaru, AU
Just so you know (Pairings): So, Naruto's future husband... Well... It is between Hibari and Tsuna, so choose your guy!. Anyway, about Hinata, she will mostly stay with Mukuro, but give your opinion on who she should be with XD
Just so you know (Pacifiers): I just noticed a few weeks ago that I forgot to make the Arcobaleno's pacifiers glow every time they are near each other (in the same town). I'm so sorry! *bow* I completely forgot that, but while I was reading the manga again I remembered this small detail... From now on, the Pacifiers will glow, and if I forget to write it again, well, imagine that their pacifiers glowed... U.U
I don't own KHR or Naruto, Amano Akira and Masashi Kishimoto does!

Fon
Fon sighed as he looked from Reborn to Colonello.
"Tea?" He offered.
The two Arcobaleno narrowed their eyes. A rifle and a green gun were now pointed in his direction. He should have expected this reaction the moment he meet Naruto. But he had thought it would take a while before the girl father and her other godfather - for Fon was her mother's chosen and Reborn was her father's - found out who she was and what her connection to Uzumaki Kushina was.
He thought it would take a while for the two to find out the truth because of Kawahira. Fon had been lucky to have found her before Kawahira did something to stop her from seeing him.
The silver haired man had been Kushina's older brother figure. She was always talking about him and always took a little of her free time to visit him. The man had been against the idea of having the red-haired woman working with the Vongola, but she was stubborn and convinced him to let her be Vongola Nono's Second Sun Guardian. Fon didn't know how he reacted to the fact that she was going to get married to Colonello, but it wasn't difficult to imagine.
"Talk." Reborn said, narrowing his eyes.
While Naruto and the Young Vongola Decimo watched their friends fight over the position of left-hand man (which was the first time Fon heard about such thing), Reborn and Colonello had noticed Fon presence in one of the trees, watching them from afar.
Reborn had narrowed his eyes; much like was doing now, before grabbing his head in pain. Fon, knowing that all the sealed memories he had about Kushina were being unsealed, decided to take the Hitman away. The last thing he wanted was for him to start shooting everything and everyone he saw in rage. Just like he had done when they found out Kushina had disappeared. The Hitman had been rather irritable that time and there was little that didn't make him furious.
Actually... Most people who knew the red head and had a deeper connection to her had a few extreme reactions. The Nono Vongola entered in depression, thinking that his precious daughter had been kidnapped. Brow Nie Jr. stopped speaking, and most of time you would find him staring at nothing. Xanxus and most members of the Varia - who had loved (admitting it or not) Kushina as if she was their older sister - had gone in rampage. Colonello, like Nono, had entered in depression before he decided to get out of it and start looking for his fiancée. Fon himself had been the only one that didn't do anything extreme, or had any other type of reaction.
Fon, it seemed, was the only one who remembered a little something Kushina had left to them in case she disappeared like that.
Because she was sure something like this was going to happen one day.
It too had been Fon who helped Nono seal the memories of those who reacted more violently to Kushina's disappearance. Though they made sure that their memories would come back in case Kushina came back... Or in this case, if something or someone related to Kushina appeared in front of them.
Colonello had followed him as he brought Reborn to the hotel that he had been staying with his young student, I-Pin. Reborn, stayed unconscious for a few hours before he woke up and joined forces with Colonello, who decided he was tired of waiting the Storm Arcobaleno talk about Naruto.
"I don't know what you want to hear Reborn."
"Bullshit!" Colonello growled. "Since when had you known about Naruto, kora? About my daughter, kora!"
Fon shook his head. "I meet her after Reborn. So if you are insinuating that I have known her for years, then you're wrong." Colonello relaxed a little, though Reborn didn't show any signs that he would be doing so too. "And about Kushina..." Both Arcobaleno gripped their weapons with force. "I have no idea where she is or what her status is. Naruto doesn't known too. She is an orphan from birth."
Reborn hummed. Fon was sure he already knew about it, Naruto must have told him.
Colonello, on other hand, paled. His hands were trembling.
"Y-You can't possibly be saying -"
"She isn't dead." Fon interrupted him. Reborn gave a small nod, his eyes showing a little of recognition. Since the Hitman now had his memories of everything related to Kushina, he must have known what he was talking about. "We would have felt it if she was. She isn't dead."
"The seal." Reborn said, lowering his gun. It glowed and Leon was back to his spot in the Hitman fedora.
Fon nodded.
Colonello placed his rifle away and shook his head. "What are you two talking about, kora?!"
Fon sighed and looked at the blonde. "Sit, it will take a while to explain."
Hinata
The Elemental Continent, known to be divided in Countries that operated as separate political entities and all of them were monarchies, ruled by a Damiyo who stand equally in rank with a Kage, the leader of Shinobi Village.
To someone from Tsuna's world, the Elemental Continent would be easily compared to the feudal Japan in many aspects; specially because those countries maintained balance between themselves through nothing but power and treaties were periodically signed, but they were generally not worth much more than the paper they were written on.
Naruto, was born in one of the Shinobi Villages and had wished more than anything to be the Kage of her village, that was her dream (Though since she was focusing her attention on Tsuna and the others, she completely forgot her desire to go back to her village and turn her childhood dream real... But this wasn't important at the moment).
The village she was born was Konohagakure, a hidden village of the Land of Fire that was founded by Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara. The village was one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries and its Kage was called Hokage (which, at the moment, was a woman called Senju Tsunade).
The village was well known for its powerful army and the clans that which resided on it. And the only two people in the whole village, who were the only ones that could say they truly were Naruto friends were members of two of those clans.
Hyuuga Hinata had always been a lonely girl. She was shy and had difficult to make friends. Her father thought she was weak and pathetic and her little sister thought she wasn't worthy of anything. But there were people who saw her inner fire, her hidden strength, that not even she could see.
Her mother had been one of those people before she died a few weeks after Hanabi's birth, then there was her old mentor and teacher Yuhi Kurenai and last, there was Uzumaki Naruto... The person who held her loyalty and admiration... Her leader, hero, confident, best friend and older sister figure...
She meet Naruto when both of them were seven. It was a few weeks before the Academy started and that day, Hinata was in the park with her cousin, but of course, he had left her alone to do Kami knows what and it didn't took long for a few civilians children to start bullying her.
She remembered crying and closing her eyes and the next moment, all she could hear were cries and screams and then, when she opened her eyes, she was greeted by the image of a grinning blonde watching proudly as the civilians run away crying for their parents.
"Yeah, run away your bunch of cowards!" The blonde had yelled loudly.
Hinata had stared at her with awe.
She knew who the blonde was. And well, who didn't? She was well known to be hated by mostly civilians adults, shop keepers always kicked her out from their shop, others tried to hurt her (and some were successful), the civilians children mocked her and bullied her nonstop and the major part of the Shinobis ignored her existence (much like Hinata's clan did).
Hinata always wished to be like her... People treated her like she was nothing but trash, they abused her and ignored her... But the blonde never lowered her head. She was always strong and smiling. She would even prank those who did something bad to her as revenge.
The blonde turned to her with a grin so bright that even the sun would bow in front of it, and patting Hinata's head she said;
"Don't worry. I won't let they hurt you anymore."
"Why?" Hinata asked; her voice a little louder than normal.
Naruto had opened her mouth to speak when a shinobi, a Chunnin, approached them and interrupted her. He kicked the blonde in the stomach, throwing her in the ground with a small groan, and grabbed Hinata's arm with a sneer.
"Please, Hyuuga-sama, keep away from this vermin. What would your father say?" And he started to walking away, bringing her with him.
Hinata had stared at the blonde, who had stood up and was waving to her with a sad smile, till she couldn't see her anymore.
The next time she saw the blonde was when the Academy started. They were in the same class and Hinata was more than surprised when she heard the blonde name being called by the teacher. The teacher, for his part, had been a little hesitant when calling the blonde, but he repeated the question he had made to the others students.
"Why don't you introduce yourself?"
Naruto had grinned and got up from her chair as she said proudly: "My name is Uzumaki Naruto! I like ramen and my dream for the future is to be the first female Hokage, dattebayo ~! If I can't then I will be the best kunoichi ever, better than Tsunade, so I can make my parents proud of me!"
Hinata, for the first time in a long time, felt angry when all the other students (aside from a few Clan Children) started to laugh and mock Naruto, saying mean things like "What a pathetic dream...", "How ridiculous, a vermin like you Hokage?", "Parents? What parents? She is an orphan!", "I heard her mother was a whore and her father a drunk bastard!", "My mom told me she is a demon!", "My mom told me to stay away from her because she is a monster" and others comments similar.
Naruto hadn't even moved when they insulted her, but the moment they started bad mouthing her parents she snapped.
Hinata would never admit it, but she had wanted to clap and laugh in delight when there was a yellow flash and Naruto beat all the ones who insulted her parents to a blood puddle.
Her admiration for Naruto grew more that day.
The teachers, hadn't taken her reaction well and Hinata noticed that they always tried to sabotage Naruto. Actually, they did sabotage her. Because of this, Naruto was considered the Dobe or Dead Last of their class. Hinata noticed that they would teach wrong, they would ignore her questions - or sending her away for making questions - and she too noticed that Naruto gave up and just decided to observe it when the teachers taught one of the other students and when she was alone, she would review everything she had learned.
But to everyone she was still a Dobe. And all the teachers that treated her bad? Well, let's just say that Naruto had a talent to have them get fired. How she did it, Hinata didn't know nor could she prove that it was the blonde. But she knew it had been Naruto's fault.
One day, after Naruto failed the Graduation Exam for the first time, Hinata decided to talk to her. Finding Naruto had been difficult and to her surprise, she found the blonde playing Shogi with the Heir of the Nara Clan.
When the blonde noticed that she was hiding behind a tree, Naruto grinned. "Hi, Hinata-chan!" She had said. The blonde had asked if she wanted to join them. The Nara Heir - Shikamaru - had shrugged, lazily, when Hinata asked if he didn't mind and the boy only muttered a 'You're not very troublesome' before pointing a place where she could sit.
"Hum... Y-You never told me why you helped me?" Hinata had asked after a moment of silence.
Naruto frowned, as if trying to understand what she was talking about and turned her attention away from the game to stare at Hinata. The Hyuuga Heiress had looked away a little uncomfortable before she heard the blond laughed.
"You still don't know? Hinata-chan! You're my friend! I will always help you, hadn't I been doing it since that day?"
Hinata's eyes widened. This time, she was the one confused. What was Naruto talking about? Her last interaction with the blond had been that day on the park.
Shikamaru snorted. "She is talking about how she stole your clan scrolls, made copies of a few techniques and left the scrolls to you."
Hinata felt her heart jump at this and looked at the blonde who now had what could be only described as a sheepish grin in her face. She had thought one of the servants had taken pity on her and left those scrolls for her. Hinata never showed what she learned from those scrolls to her father or to anyone else in her family, but because of her she could say that she is almost as good fighter as her prodigy cousin Neji.
"Why?" She asked with tears in her eyes.
"You're my friend aren't you?"
Hinata gave Naruto a small grin a she cried. "Y-Yeah."
After that; Naruto, Shikamaru and her started to meet up after the Academy. They would talk, watch clouds, they studied (though Naruto tried to escape), prank the people who tormented Naruto, play Shogi, eat Dango or train. They were great friends and their team work was flawless.
They were there for each other. Shikamaru and Hinata, specially, were there when Naruto most needed them.
They were there when she failed the Academy for the third time because she had too much chakra and couldn't do a single Clone. They were there when she decided to prove that Mizuki was a traitor. They were there when Mizuki told Naruto that the reason she was hated was because the Fourth Hokage sealed the Kyuubi on her. They were there when Naruto defeated Mizuki using the Shadow Clone technique. They were there when she found out that the injuries Mizuki had caused on Iruka couldn't be healed and Naruto's older brother figure died in her arms.
They were there when the teams were formed and Naruto ended with people who would never appreciate her. They were there when she came back from a mission on Wave, crying for the lives of two criminals. They were there when she defeated Kiba. They were there when she beat some sense on Neji. They were there when she stopped Gaara from destroying the Village. They were there when she cried for the Third, after he sacrificed himself for the village.
They were there when she introduced her new teacher - the famous and well respected Jiraya - and when she invited them to come to a mission to find Senju Tsunade. They were there when she disappeared while fighting Sasuke. Her teammate and a traitor.
Now her and Shikamaru were glaring at a very much drunk white haired pervert, waiting for him to notice their presence.
"What do you want brats?" He asked.
Hinata and Shikamaru shared a look. So he wasn't as drunk as they thought. He was still lucid.
"We need your help to find Naruto." Shikamaru said, lazily as always.
Jiraya sneered. "She was declared dead, brats. Only a pool of her blood was found." The white haired man said with a depressed look.
Hinata narrowed her eyes and with a growl, she actived her Byakugan and hit him in a few points that she knew would hurt. The man, surprised, was thrown to ground and beside her; Shikamaru crossed his arms and too narrowed his eyes.
"Jiraya-sama... Didn't Naruto sign the Toad Summon Contract?" Shikamaru asked making the man look at him with wide eyes. "Is her name still there?"
The man eyes widened before he slapped his forehead and took his Summon Scroll, opening it.
And there it was.
The name they loved so much.
Uzumaki Naruto.
The white haired man gave a relieved laugh. "She is alive!"
Hinata smiled. She could hear as Shikamaru sighed and muttered something like: "Troublesome blonde, always making me worry."
She ignored him because... If Naruto's name was still in the scroll then this meant she was still alive. So there was a chance. They could find her! She could see her friend again!
"Now the question is..." Shikamaru muttered making her and Jiraya look at him. "Can we summon her back with the Toads' help..."
Hinata clenched her fits, completing his line of thought. "Or we will have to go where she is?"
And to Hinata... It didn't matter which one came to be their best opinion. All she wanted was to find her friend again.
Jiraya
Jiraya, liking it or not, lost the count of the mistakes he made in his fifty years of life. And most of those mistakes, he counted as regrets.
He could never convince Tsunade that his love for her was real, he left his first students - the Ame Orphans - to death even though he could have brought them to Konoha with him, he was blind and didn't see the monster his best friend and rival was turning into nor could he stop Orochimaru from betraying their village - betraying everyone that cared for him - and breaking the already frail heart of his teacher, he never told his favorite student how he loved him like the son he never had, he didn't help Kushina when she came back from Kami knows where (for she had disappeared for a long time and only Minato, Inoichi and the Sandaime knew where she had gone to) and begged for him to find a way to send her back to the arms of the man she loved and the father of her child...
He waited for too long to ask her to forgive him after he refused to help her - for he thought she had been cheating on Minato - and was a coward since he ended asking Minato to send his message to Kushina. The blonde did as asked, but only because he didn't want his young sister in all but blood to be stressed because of an old pervert...
Jiraya never stayed in Konoha after the death of his favorite student. He ran away like a coward he was and used the excuse that he needed to focus on his spy network and didn't have the time to take care of Kushina's child. He never came back even though the Sandaime asked him to, though he did send money to the child who was Minato's goddaughter and the child the blonde had loved as if she was his own daughter.
He didn't teach Naruto as he should when he finally came to see her... He almost lost his chance of making things right and taking care of the blonde...
And he didn't do as the Sandaime - Hiruzen-sensei - wanted, he didn't bring Naruto to see the only person alive in their world who would do anything for her and would - and still do - love the blonde more than anything... Though after the small encounter he had with two Genins this morning, he was adding two more to the list. Who knew that Naruto had loyal friends like those?
Well... Anyway, Jiraya made many mistakes and had a infinite list of regrets, but all he wanted at the moment, was to see that ramen obsessed blonde again. To give her the scrolls Minato left to her (for the man wanted her to have his Jutsus)... And to tell her about her incredible godfather and her beautiful mother. Both who, if they had the chance, wouldn't have left her and would have found a way to send both her and her mother to where her father was.
When Hyuuga Hinata and Nara Shikamaru, who few knew were Naruto's best friends since the girl was little, came to him asking (demanding) that he helped them to find Naruto, he was ready to refuse them and he wanted to refuse them. Were they crazy? Didn't they know that Tsunade declared her death when Kakashi came back with the news that the Uchiha boy had been successful in fleeing the village and that the only thing they found from Naruto was a piece of bloodied cloth of Naruto's jumpsuit.
He was depressed and he just wanted peace.
Minato was going to kill him when he finally reached the afterlife (if he even saw his student there. He had sold his soul to the Shinigami after all). The man would be furious with him for not taking care and keeping an eye on his precious goddaughter and niece.
The Hyuuga girl then acted rather aggressively - though he had needed to be hit - before the Nara boy showed the genius his family was well known for and asked if Naruto's name was still present in the Summon Contract.
Jiraya almost asked the Hyuuga girl to hit him again.
He couldn't believe he forgot something like that. He had even told Naruto that one of the ways for her contract with the Toads to be broken was if she died. Then her name would disappear from the Summon Contract.
How stupid he was?
So he brought the two teens to the Summon realm. Like this, they could talk to Pa and Ma - the Great Sage Toads - and find out how they would go to Naruto or bring her to them. Though, while Pa looked for Naruto and found out where she was, he left the teens with him while he visited an old friend and ally in a special room on the Mount Myoboku.
Jiraya sighed and shook his head before he looked at the bed where a motionless and pale figure was sleeping peaceful. He had been sitting next to the bed for almost twenty minutes now and he just didn't know what he was going to say. Last time he came to visit, it was to bring bad news with him.
"Hey... I brought news... Naruto is alive, but she is still far away from our reach right now..."
He touched the woman's forehead and closed his eyes. He opened his eyes, bringing his hands away from the woman forehead.
"I need to find Naruto's friends..." He chuckled. "And what loyal friends she has... The Hyuuga girl looked like she wanted to kill me for not looking for Naruto as I should." Jiraya shook his head and place a hand in his white hair.
"Jiraya-boy..." He turned his attention to the entrance of the room, staring at the small and familiar Toad that was looking at him with a gentle smile. "Come, Pa wants your presence in the room and I think those two children aren't feeling very comfortable in the middle of a group of unknown summons."
Jiraya took a deep breath and got up from the chair he was sitting on. He nodded toward Ma and thanked her, though; before he walked away from the bed he gave the sleeping woman a last smile, this one having a little more feeling.
"Don't worry... I will find your daughter and who knows... Maybe she found her way to her father like you wanted. Brat is lucky like that." He smiled. "I will come back later to tell you if we were successful in bringing Naruto back or if he could send her friends after her."
He turned away, following Ma who started talking about the two clan Children that were waiting for them along Pa.
Jiraya never noticed when the woman's fingers moved.
Shikamaru
All he wanted, ever since he was a child, was to be just another average shinobi, making an average living. He'd marry a regular girl who wasn't super pretty or super ugly, have two kids, a girl and then a boy, retire when his daughter got married and his son became a successful ninja, and spend the rest of his days just playing Shogi or Go,... A nice, carefree and leisurely retirement... And then he'd die of old age before his wife.
Yup, that's the life he wanted.
But then he had to befriend Uzumaki Naruto.
And it was impossible to be an average shinobi and have an average life when you're Uzumaki Naruto's friend.
He met her when they were both four years old. They had bonded over Shogi and Go. Naruto had been so small and lonely that time. She was good at forcing a smile and making others believe she was happy, but even Shikamaru, a boy that refused to socialize with other children and mostly stayed alone, could see that she was breaking little by little.
The day he asked if she wanted to learn how to play Shogi, was the day she declared him to be her new friend. And he stayed with her ever since, like a cloud that always accompany its sky. He watched her from afar, took care of her, he would be there when she needed someone to talk. And he protected her from herself, though this job got easier when Hinata joined them.
Though, sometimes, Shikamaru liked to think that the Hyuuga heiress had been somehow pushed toward Naruto.
He sighed, looking at the two small toads (Who would have thought that they were the famed Great Sage Toads) sitting in front of them. The male toad - Fukasaku - had his eyes closed as he hummed to himself in thought and the female - Shima - was serving tea to Hinata and him while Jiraya got sake. Or he thought it was sake, the smell coming from the bottle Jiraya's was holding was rather different from the ones that came from the types of sake his father or Asuma drank.
"It is possible." Fukasaku said after what seemed hours of pure silence.
Jiraya had brought both him and Hinata to the Summon realm after they found out that Naruto's name was still present in the Summon contract. From what Jiraya had said, the Toad Sages would be the only ones who could tell them if it was possible for them to go where Naruto was or if they could summon her to the Toads home (which he had yet to find out how the place was called).
"Which option is possible?" Hinata muttered next to him, nervously. He looked at her by the corner of his eyes and placed a hand in her right shoulder.
Ever since the Sasuke's Retrieval mission, when Hatake Kakashi came to the village with a bloodied piece of cloth of Naruto's favorite orange jumpsuit, Hinata started acting a little out of character. Not that he blamed her. Life was a little dull and... Well, lifeless... Without meaning, when Naruto wasn't with them and they didn't know if they would ever see her again.
The two of them, Tsunade, Jiraya, Gaara (Even if he didn't know her all that well. As if an invisible force was bring the red head toward her) and young Konohamaru had been the most affect by her disappearance. The civilians hadn't been happier, Kakashi didn't seem to care about his student and Sakura... Well, Sakura too didn't care (though she was angry with Naruto for not bringing her precious Sasuke-kun back) and was still trying to convince Tsunade to take her as the woman apprentice. Though he doubted it would happen. Tsunade had her eyes on Hinata and the Slug Princess refused to teach someone who would always insult and abuse the girl Tsunade considered to be her granddaughter (not that she would ever admit it out loud) and the girl who was her distant cousin (From what he found in the library one day, Tsunade's grandmother was a Uzumaki, so Tsunade was somehow related to Naruto).
"It is possible to go where Naruto is. But..." Fukasaku frowned.
Shikamaru felt like sighing again. There is always a 'but'.
"But I doubt we can send you Jiraya-boy. We will need your chakra to send someone -"
"We will go!" Hinata shouted, but was ignored for the moment.
"- to Naruto."
He placed a hand over Hinata's mouth, stopping her from saying anything else. He gave her a look, warning her to stay in silence till the right time for them to speak. Right now, they should listen.
Jiraya rubbed his temple. A small confused glint in his eyes. "Wait... What do you mean, Pa?"
The old Toad sighed and shook his head. "Jiraya-boy, Naruto has been sent to another dimension all together. And I am not wrong, we checked more than one time."
Shikamaru felt a headache coming.
Another dimension?
He groaned as Hinata did the same beside him.
Only Naruto would find a way to end in another dimension.
Troublesome blonde. He thought with a small chuckle.
"You, much like Naruto, are a Toad Summoner, and because of this are connected to our realm. You too know how Naruto's chakra feels since you taught her, I am wrong?" Jiraya shook his head. Fukasaku nodded his head satisfied. "We will create a seal to send someone to Naruto which will be powered by your chakra. And since you know how her chakra feels, it will be easier to find her. And we can't summon her to us because we don't know which dimension she is residing. There are millions, billions or even more, dimensions out there. Do you understand?"
The three of them nodded.
Shima smiled and looked in his and Hinata direction. "We will be making the preparations to send you two to Naruto, since I think you are eager to see her again. It will only take a hour or two." They nodded and her smile widened. "You better pack for your journey. Though, you should talk to your Hokage first. Jiraya-boy will bring you back here after we finish the seal and everything else."
"We will, thank you Shima-sama." Shikamaru nodded while Hinata bowed a little.
The two young shinobis shared a look and grinned.
Naruto, we are coming for you.
Shikamaru watched as Senju Tsunade finished her second bottle of Sake. The woman muttered something under her breath and shook her head before slamming the bottle on the table and looking at him with, and if he wasn't so observant he won't have noticed it, hopeful eyes.
"So Shima and Fukasaku can send someone, in this case you and Hinata, to the place where Naruto is?"
"Yes, mam." He nodded.
Tsunade hummed. "Good... If anyone asks, I will tell them you were sent to a mission outside of the Fire Country... Though I won't announce that Naruto is alive, it is safer for her..." She muttered the last part so Shikamaru thought he wasn't meant to heard it.
Though, he was curious now... Naruto would be safer? Safe from what?
He narrowed his eyes. He would have to think about it later and maybe ask Naruto if she knew what this was about when he saw her.
"Shizune!" The young medic-nin that was standing not too far from them, holding a small pig in her arms, jumped. "Yes, Tsunade-sama?!"
"I want you to gather every single medical scroll you can find in the library, make copies of them... Oh, also, do make copies of my personal medical scrolls."
"Not Taijutsu?"
"No." Tsunade shook her head. "She already has her own Taijutsu style."
Shikamaru blinked before he understood what was happening. He smiled as Tsunade ordered Shizune to also get scrolls to Naruto. Since she was sure the girl would need it, even if the blonde haired woman was sure it was Naruto who stole some of the scrolls in the Hokage library.
"Is the medical scrolls for Hinata?"
Tsunade smirked and turned her attention to him as Shizune walked out of the office. "I like the girl. She is a little shy but I heard from Naruto that she is interested in being a medic and that she has the perfect chakra control needed for the job, and the fact that the girl is a Hyuuga is a bonus in my eyes. With that eyes of hers, she is going far in this job."
He nodded.
"Now brat, go. You will have to talk to Shikaku and..." She smirked. "And tell your mother that you will be away for Kami knows how long."
Shikamaru groaned.
"What a drag..." He muttered, bowing to Tsuna before walking away from the officer. He stopped in the corridor, blinking his eyes as he looked around.
Was he daydreaming or did he really saw someone there?
Shikamaru sighed for the 87th time as his mother continued ranting about how he should act in a mission outside of the country, how he couldn't be lazy and lay around watching the clouds... She said more, but he stopped listening at some point. He just heard a few words that came from her mouth, it was like: Blahblah lazy son and Tralala irresponsible son...
His father, who was standing next to him, patted his shoulder making the black haired boy to look at him. The next thing he knew, five scrolls were throw in his arms. Lazily, he blinked his eyes and stared at the scrolls before turning his attention to his father who smirked.
"Tsunade-sama sent a message to me. Those are a few scrolls with our family jutsus and other jutsu I think you should learn. Take them with you. There is clothes, a medical kit, weapons and a few more things on the scrolls too."
Shikamaru nodded placing the scrolls on the table next to them. He then sealed them in his arm (He wasn't an expert when it came to Fuuinjutsu, but he knew enough from the times Naruto taught it to him and Hinata).
His father looked at his mother for a second. "Though, even knowing where you are going. I think that it is better if your mother continue thinking that you will be going to another country..." He sweatdropped. "I don't want to see what she will do if she finds out that you will be going to another dimension."
His mother raised her hands. "Are you two idiots ignoring me?!"
They both sighed, groaning when she hit them.
Troublesome woman, they thought.
Hinata
Hinata entered in her family compound, ignoring all the guards, relatives and even her little sister (Her little sister who acted in her snobbish way till she noticed Hinata hadn't even spared a glance in her direction). She had only a few simple goals in mind at the moment, the first of them, entering the Hyuuga's Library and stealing - copying - as much scrolls as she could.
Something told her that she would need those scrolls. Even if she didn't use all of them.
Hinata made two Shadow Clones (Which Naruto had taught to her and Shikamaru after the day the blonde stole the Scroll of Sealing) and ordered them to copy as much scrolls as they could while she placed a Genjutsu and a few seals in the entrance of the library so no one would enter there. Really... Everyone talked about how Naruto was stupid, but if it wasn't for the blonde, Hinata would never know how to do any of those things.
After almost one hour, when she thought she already had enough scrolls, Hinata dispelled her clones and sealed all the scrolls her the clones had made. She then got rid of the Genjutsu and the Fuuinjutsu in the entrance, actived her Byakugan to see if there was anyone out there and walked away.
She entered in her room, got a few clothes and weapons and created a single Shadow Clone, it would stay in her place for a while, giving her time to get out of the compound, find Shikamaru and go to Tsunade's office and see if Jiraya was ready.
"Yo!" Shikamaru said as she walked in his direction.
Hinata waved to him, stopping for a second and frowned. By the corner of her eyes, she saw a familiar white fabric not too far from them.
Hinata blinked.
Was that Konohamaru?
"Hinata..." Shikamaru said, pointing in the direction where they saw the white fabric, which they recognized as a white scarf. "Did you see..."
"Yes I did, wasn't that Naruto's self-proclaimed minion?"
The lazy boy snorted at the name and nodded, looking at her with curiosity. "Do you think he is planning something?"
"I... I really hope he isn't. After all, Naruto taught him the art of pranking."
The two teen shivered.
"I-I think it is better if we go to see Tsunade-sama."
Hinata nodded. "Yeah... Let's go."
Konohamaru
Uzumaki Naruto was and will always be Konohamaru's hero and big sister. So when Hatake Kakashi came one day, saying that she was dead, he refused to listen. He refused to believe. Because his hero would never let herself be killed by someone like Uchiha Sasuke - that traitor -, she would never lose for Konoha's favorite prodigy.
So he started training. If everyone was going to lie to him, then he would get strong and find Naruto himself. He started training in his family style, learning one or two earth jutsus and making sure he had good chakra control. Konohamaru too decided to prank anyone who dared to show even a little of happiness over Naruto's disappearance - "death" - and he also started gathering information.
He wasn't the best spy around, but one day he would hear someone saying what happened to his hero.
And this day finally arrived.
Konohamaru narrowed his eyes a little when he noticed the smiles on their faces (Although the lazy boy wasn't really smiling... But whatever). He then decided, suspicious of Naruto's friends when they disappeared for a few hours and came back with smiles, to follow the lazy boy in hopes of finding out why they were like that. Those two had been as depressed and sad as him after Naruto disappearance.
The lazy boy - a member of the Nara Clan if he wasn't wrong -, entered in the Hokage's officer and started his report. Konohamaru had to stop himself from yelling in euphoria and crying in relief when he heard the Nara boy telling the Hokage that Naruto was fine and had been sent to another dimension and that someone called Jiraya (he had heard this name before. Wasn't he the guy Naruto called an old pervert?) would send him - the Nara boy - and a girl called Hinata to where Naruto was.
Determined, Konohamaru started running, just before the Nara boy walked out of the Hokage's office.
He entered in his house, ignoring his mother and Uncle when they called him and asked how his day had been so far. Konohamaru then started packing everything that he thought to be useful, though he did follow Naruto's words from when she explained what a shinobi should bring with them when going to a mission outside of the village.
When he felt he was ready, he ran from his room, almost tripped on his Mother's cat, and then took off in direction of the Hokage tower (And again, he ignored his mother and Uncle' calls, only saying a small Bye! as he passed by them). When he reached the Hokage Tower, the boy jumped over the secretary (that old hag!), who tried to stop him by screaming like a banshee, and kicked the door of the Hokage's office open.
The Hokage, her assistant and a white haired man jumped, turning their attention in his direction. The brown haired boy was very surprised to see that the Hokage's ANBU guards hadn't tried to attack him. But maybe the Hokage had dismissed them for a while or so he thought.
"What the - Konohamaru! What do you think you are doing brat?!" The Hokage - Tsunade - yelled as she slammed one of her fits against her table, breaking it.
"I want to go too!"
Honey brown eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about, monkey boy? Go where?"
He ignored the insult, and looked in her eyes. "I want to go after Naruto too!"
The white haired man grabbed his arm. "Don't be stupid brat. You're staying here in Konoha."
Konahamaru shook his head and started trying to free himself. "No! I will go after boss!"
"Sarutobi-kun," The black haired woman, who was Tsunade assistant, smiled at him as if he was a five years old child. He gave her a glare. He was ten! Ten years old! "you're not even a Genin yet. It won't be safe, so you must stay here in Konoha."
"No!" He yelled. "I want to see boss again! I'm a shinobi and I can protect myself! So let me go you old pervet! Pedo!"
The white haired man growled. "What did you -" Before he could finish, he was interrupted.
There was sigh. "How troublesome..."
The group turned to see two teens (Naruto's friends, Konohamaru thought) staring at them, one with confusion in her unique pearl like eyes and the other with irritation in his dark eyes.
"D-Did something happened?" The girl asked.
Tsunade took a deep breath. "It's nothing… Close the door and we will start." She looked at Konohamaru and pinched her nose. "Very well then… Jiraya, let the brat go." The white haired man sighed and let go his arm as Konohamaru stuck his tongue at him. "He will accompany Nara Shikamaru and Hyuuga Hinata in their mission to find Naruto."
"So that's why he was screaming, he wants to go with us..." He heard the girl - Hinata - mutter to the boy - Shikamaru - standing next to her.
"We will have to work as babysitters now? What a drag... "
The black haired woman blinked and looked at the Hokage with disbelief. "Tsunade-sama you can't be serious!"
"Do you think I want him to go? Because I don't." The blonde Hokage snapped. "The problem is that he is Naruto's so called minion, do you really think he will just stay here if I said so?"
The black haired woman, Hinata, Shikamaru and Jiraya sweatdropped while Konohamaru grinned as all of them answered at the same time. "No."
Tsunade nodded. "Good, now... Jiraya, what you were going to say before Sensei's grandson interrupted us."
Konohamaru gave a sheepish grin as she glared at him for a second.
Jiraya sighed and nodded before he started talking.
Hinata
While at Tsunade office, Jiraya explained what he would be doing. He and the Toads created a seal that would send them (as in her, Shikamaru and Konohamaru) to a place that was close to Naruto localization. The seal would then open a type of door between the two dimensions that would make it possible for Naruto to Summon the Toads (for they discovered that she couldn't summon them nor could any of them appear next to her when they liked it).
Jiraya then brought the three of them to the Mount Myoboku (The Toads' Summon Real) and told them to stand in the middle of the big seal that they found draw in ground. They did as they were told.
Jiraya then took a seat on the ground and closed his eyes, his body glowing with pure chakra as he took a deep breath and started a series of hand seals that were so fast that Hinata couldn't identify. He continued doing that for a few minutes before he bit his thumb did one last hand seal and slammed his hand on the seal that started glowing.
He raised his head, looking a little tired as he grinned. "Tell Naruto to Summon one of the Toads. And... And tell her that I'm sorry... For everything."
Hinata wasn't sure what he meant by that, but she didn't have to ask since the bright light coming of the seal blinded her for a second and then she felt like she couldn't breathe anymore and her head started killing her. Around them, she noticed, there was nothing more than a tick purple smoke.
She only started feeling better after what seemed to be hours. And when the smoke cleaned they found themselves between a very different group composed of four babies (was one of them wearing a cow outfit?), a fluffy brown haired boy, a grinning black haired boy, a glaring silver haired boy, a bloodthirsty black haired boy (who made Hinata think of Uchiha Sasuke for a second before she dismissed the thought) and a very familiar looking blonde haired girl wearing a orange bandana around her forehead.
"H-Hinata? Shika? Is that Konohamaru too?!"
Hinata felt tears forming in her eyes as she looked at the blonde in front of her. Blinking her eyes and letting the tears stream from her eyes, Hinata was the first of the group to move, being followed by Konohamaru who gave a loudly sob as they ran in the blonde direction.
Hinata threw her arms around the blonde and hugged her closer, crying out loud and telling her how she missed her and how the blonde had to promise to never disappear again.
At that moment, when Naruto laughed and hugged her back, Hinata felt like she had found her path back home. She felt free and alive because she could feel once again that familiar and always welcoming force touching her body. That feeling of gravity bringing her back to Earth. And it was wonderful, Hinata thought. It was wonderful and she hadn't noticed how lost and alone she felt without her precious gravity, without her Earth. Irritated and worried, yes, but nothing else. Never alone and lost.
She didn't know if it was Naruto absence or the thought of never seeing her again that made her feel like that, but Hinata didn't stop to think about that.
It's not like she would lose Naruto again.
She refused to lose her best friend and sister again.
"A place where someone still thinks of you, that's a place you can call home."

Coming For You
I'm back with BIO!
Hello people! Missed me? I'm sure you did! Don't be shy.
Anyway…!
First, I would like to say that it took all this time to update because; One) I was having a major writer block. Two) I lost My Pen-Drive with all my stories. And Three) I found my Pen-Drive, but it betrayed my trust and destroyed all my hard work! All my archives were blank when I tried to open it! It was horrible! T.T I lost everything! (Though, I did have copies of some of my fics my computer…). And then I had to start rewriting everything... *sigh*
Hope you liked this chapter and how I portrayed Hinata. She's still shy and everything, but I wanted to make more useful than the CanonHinata from Naruto (I said, Naruto, not Naruto Shippuden)… And what do you think of Jiraya, Shikamaru and Konohamaru? I was having a few problems writing them…
I don't think I have anything more to say…
Well… If you have any question or whatever, send a PM to me, I will answer. :3
Again… Hope you liked this chapter.
And don't forget to Follow, Favorite or Review!

PS: If someone would like to help me so I won't be making more mistakes when using Italian (Like I did in Lambo chapter... And I need to correct it), please tell me. :)
