Kakashi was woken by the sound of several voices around him, sitting up he noticed a commotion around Sakura's bed. Getting up instantly he raced over to Sakura, dropping his book in the process, rudely pushing a few startled nurses aside. Looking down at Sakura's face he noticed it had no hint of colour, her cheeks no longer had that rosy tint he loved so much, they no longer seemed to liven up her face. Her lips had turned a light shade of blue. Kakashi reached for her hand and gripped it tightly, instantly noticing just how cold they were against his. Looking down again he noticed Sakura's eyes had opened ever so slightly, staring into her eyes he noticed how they no longer had that sparkle that he had adored so much, but rather they just held pain and sadness. Kakashi's grip on her hand tightened slightly. Biting down on his lip he tried desperately to keep himself from crying in front of her, he had to be strong for her. Releasing his grip from her hand he moved closer to her, carefully placing his hand on her face he gently started stroking her pale cheekbone. Sakura slowly turned her head so she was facing Kakashi, tears present in her eyes.
"Kakashi, I .. I ..Love you." she whispered softly.
"Sakura" Kakashi begged, tears threatening to fall. "Please don't leave me! I need you. I love you!"
"It will all be okay, I promise." Sakura said with her last breath.
Kakashi's heart stopped in that moment, not able to control his tears anymore they just flooded out, staining his cheeks. Kakashi didn't know what to do, this is the second person he has lost that he had cared about so much, his dad being the first. Kakashi's heart ached at the painful memory of losing his dad and now he lost Sakura.
Several nurses rushed forward towards Sakura pushing back a distraught Kakashi aside, another nurse grabbed Kakashi's arm and pulled him back and led him to the door and out of the room. The last thing Kakashi could heard before being pushed out the door was Sakura's heart machine, but not that reassuring beat, that had given him hope, but rather the sound of it flat lining.
The moment the door closed Kakashi broke down, the one person he actually started to really care about was lying in the room in front of him with no heartbeat and there was nothing he could do, he had failed to save her once again. If he could trade his life for her he would, but no matter what he did nothing would bring her back. Kakashi got up and walked over to a nearby chair and slumped into it and looked out the windows and noticed a Sakura tree just outside, blossoming its beautiful pink flowers. Kakashi's mind was suddenly filled with all the memories that he and Sakura shared, from the day that she was assigned to his team to this very day. There was one particular memory Kakashi would never ever forget.
"Kakashi" Sakura giggled."Stop it! PLEASE"
"Never" He said with a laugh and carried on tickling Sakura.
Sakura erupted into laughter. "KAKASHI!" Sakura yelled trying to wiggle away from Kakashi, but didn't manage to get anywhere.
"Oh sorry don't you like it when I tickle you?" Kakashi asked with a grin. "How about when I do this" Kakashi said rolling on top of Sakura and placing his hands on her hips and gripping them tightly, slowly lower his face towards her so he was just inches away from her lips, teasingly biting his lip and inched his face forward so their lips were just touching. Sakura gasped. Kakashi pulled away and chuckled softly. "You're too easy" he said with a wink.
"You want to see easy?" She asked mischievously. Sakura pushed Kakashi off of her and got on top of him in a straddling position. Kakashi laughed inaudibly.
"Sakura it will take a lot for me to seem 'easy'" Kakashi said playfully.
Sakura chuckled and leaned towards Kakashi stopping at his ear, her lips just touching his ear and whispered. "After I'm done with you, you're going to wish that was true." Pulling away quickly she pulled Kakashi's mask down and revealed his lips, the lips that she desperately yearned to feel all over her body. Her mouth moved towards his lips, giving his bottom lip a slight lick and a nip while her hands trailed down his sides until she reached the lining of his pants, Kakashi gasped in surprise.
"Sakura" Kakashi gasped.
Sakura chuckled. "I thought you said you weren't easy?"
"I'm not" Kakashi said with a wink and quickly grabbed Sakura by the waist and pulled her towards him. "You've had your fun, now it's my turn." Kakashi's brought his mouth hungrily to Sakura's and kissed her with everything he had, at this moment nothing else in the world mattered except her. Kakashi pulled back and looked into Sakura's beautiful emerald green eyes admiring the way they sparkled when she was happy. Leaning back in he kissed her one more time and then rolled off of Sakura and lay next to her.
"Kakashi" Sakura moaned "No fair..."
Kakashi chuckled softly and turned to face Sakura. My word was she beautiful when she was flustered.
"Oh please, you love...
Kakashi memory was abruptly interrupted by the sound of someone calling his name. Opening his eyes he noticed that he was lying back in Sakura's room like he had never left, Kakashi instantly looked over to Sakura's bed expecting to see a lifeless Sakura, but instead his eyes locked with two gorgeous emerald ones.
