(A/N: Hello everyone, welcome back to One-way out of Shibuya!
First off, there will be a major, and I mean freaking MAJOR time skip.
And in that time skip, don't think any major events happened please.
They are rather minor events, and I mean minor.
Also, I do not think I have been very clear about the time set.
One-way into Shibuya was set about mid summer. This story is set a week after. Penelope said in the previous chapter that she started school in "a few weeks". Considering that fact, it might've meant it's been a bit over a week or shorter since the TWEWY characters arrived. So for Penelope, school would start in about 2-3 weeks, so the time for this chapter area now is mid to end of Summer Break.
However, school for Penelope starts in this chapter! And then…a week later, new students arrive, but who?
Like usual, I OWN NOTHING. That means I do not own TWEWY or any of the games mentioned or referenced. I only own Penelope and her friends as well as her Grandmother and Sheridan belongs to BENDROWNEDISOUTTHERE.
*From chapter 7, I didn't realize I forgot to mention this but, I was referencing Kingdom Hearts with the Sea-Salt Ice Cream and the fact that in Tokyo Disneyland (or something along the lines of that) you could get Sea-Salt Ice Cream I think.

Chapter 10: Summer's End, School Begins
(Timeskip to the evening before school begins)
Penelope was talking on the phone to Sheridan.
"Hey Sheridan! You ready for school tomorrow?"
"Kind of. I'm nervous."
"How come? I'll make sure Sakura doesn't bite you."
"That's not it, its just…I'm worried about school being hard."
"Sometimes, school tends to be hard, but you'll pull through! I know it."
"And I'm a new student! What if I don't fit in?"
"Fitting in doesn't matter when you already have friends. Besides, I'll be there! So will Roselyynn, Yami, Saki, Circi, Hikari and Mortimer."
"What about Leo and Melody?"
"Leo goes to St. Michael's and Melody goes to St. Ursula's sadly."
"Whoa…their parents are THAT wealthy?"
"Leo was able to get a scholarship to go to St. Michael's. Melody on the other hand was able to go to St. Ursula's because her family can afford it."
"Wow…"
"Penelope! What's taking so long?" Joshua shouted from the other room.
"What's up?"
"Joshua's being a brat, like usual. Anyway, I'll see you tomorrow!"
"I have a question though."
"Yeah?"
"How about we walk to school together?"
"Fine by me."
"Alright! See you tomorrow!"
"Bye."
Penelope hung up her cell phone as Joshua impatiently opened the door.
"What Joshua?! I have to get to bed early tonight! You can take care of yourself, can't you?"
"You promised you'd make dinner."
Penelope frowned.
"Can't you do that yourself? I have school in the morning for crying out loud!"
"You yourself said you'd do it."
Penelope smiled.
"Well, sorry, Joshua. I'm breaking that promise. Goodnight!" The Reaper shut the door upsetting Joshua.
The Composer sighed. "Sheesh, it wouldn't be all that late if she did as she promised."
(The next morning)
"L R LR STOP & DASH & UP & TALK BBABS…" Penelope's alarm went off (It was playing Remote Controller BTW)
Penelope jumped out of bed and immediately took a shower, changed into her uniform, got her bag and grabbed breakfast before getting her phone.
Then she soon realized she was going to be late if she didn't get out now.
Immediately slamming open the door, Penelope quickly remembered her key before thrusting it into her bag, exiting and slamming the door before making a run for it.
The noise had woke pretty much everyone up except Beat.
"Sheesh…no need to make so much noise…" Neku yawned.
(Shibuya High, yes I used that name, I couldn't come up with anything)
Penelope managed to get to school 20 minutes early from all that running. There, she met her friends at the gate.
"Hey guys, morning!"
"Penelope-chan!"
Penelope turned to see Coco and Hype.
"Hey!"
"Who are they?" Sheridan asked.
"I haven't properly introduced anyone yet, huh?" Penelope asked, panting a bit from all that running.
"Sheridan, these are my friends Coco and Hype. Coco, Hype, this is Sheridan."
"Nice to meet you!" Sheridan said happily.
"Hey Penelope?" Yami asked.
"Yeah?"
"Where are Josh…?"
Penelope clapped her hand over Yami's mouth. "I haven't explained to them about what happened yet! Coco might go crazy if she finds out, considering how much of a TWEWY fan girl she already is."
Yami nodded.
"Oh look, its Peneloser with her buddies."
Penelope frowned. "I swear to…Sakura, leave me alone."
There was Sakura, giggling with her friends.
"Where's those game character friends of yours?"
Penelope narrowed her eyes, knowing she had to lie in front of Hype and Coco to keep them from knowing.
"Pardon? I have no clue what you're talking about."
Sakura frowned. "You do, Miss White. Remember? Or are you too stupid to understand."
Penelope would've blasted at Sakura with intense flames, but decided against it.
"ATTENTION STUDENTS, HOMEROOM BEGINS IN 10 MINUTES, REPEAT, HOMEROOM BEGINS IN 10 MINUTES." The intercom rang.
Penelope and her friends walked into school.
(Inside)
Penelope checked the class lists, finding that she was in Class 1A as well as Sheridan, Circi and Hikari.
She then got her schedule and went straight to Homeroom.
Upon entering, she got a seat by the window and when everyone came in; she found that 5 seats were empty.
"Man…this is going to be a long day."
(With Neku, Shiki, Joshua, Beat and Rhyme)
"Considering Penelope isn't here to scold us, maybe we should find everyone else." Joshua suggested.
"What? Why?"
Joshua frowned. "Because, Neku. We've made no contact with them for the past few weeks, so why not?"
"YOU HAVE."
Joshua sighed. "I meant "physical" contact, Neku."
"Well you really should've made that clear, Joshua."
Joshua went quiet before dialing a number on his phone and impatiently waiting.
"OH FOR THE LOVE OF…" Neku began but couldn't finish as soon as he received a glare from Joshua.
"Never mind that…"
(Shibuya High)
Penelope was listening to what her teacher was saying, recording everything down. Yes, it was her sophomore year here at Shibuya High, but in case any routines had changed, she wrote everything down carefully.
One thing that the TWEWY characters were unaware of it that Penelope tended to be quite the Perfectionist. Yes, the usual, gaming Reaper Officer was a perfectionist. However, she didn't take it to the extreme, but she wanted to be as precise and detailed as possible, considering that she didn't want to break her reputation as a good student, and her teachers had liked her for her eagerness to learn.
Another big reason Penelope even recorded these detailed notes was in case her friends forgot to record something down (yes, they were supposed to take notes, not on everything, but what the Teacher recommended.).
Suddenly, Penelope's phone went off, interrupting the class. "I thought I turned my phone off…?"
"Is something wrong, Ms. White?" The teacher asked.
"Sorry. For some reason, my phone went off. May I be excused for a moment?"
The teacher dismissed her, causing her to get out of her seat and into the hall.
Upon entering the hall, Penelope pulled her phone out of her pocket and tried turning it off, but something wouldn't let her, so she had to answer the call.
"Penelope's cell, Penelope speaking."
"Penelope, where are you?!" An angered Joshua asked from the other end.
"I'm at school! Why won't you let me turn off my phone?!" Penelope whispered quietly back.
"You could've said you were leaving."
"Are you deaf or something?! I told you last night I had school."
"Well you should've been more serious about it."
"I was serious! I'm missing important notes thanks to you, so bye!"
The call wouldn't end.
"Dammit! I don't have time for this!" Penelope thought to herself.
"I'll deal with you when I get back, okay? Please just let me hang up!"
"Fine." The call ended, and Penelope's phone clicked off.
Upon walking back into class, her Teacher asked, "What happened?"
"Satin happened." The Reaper Officer answered before going back to her seat and returning to taking notes.
(Penelope's House)
"Hey Joshua?" Neku asked, hoping to not annoy or tick him off in any way or form.
"What."
"Who were you talking to?"
Joshua glared at Neku. "Penelope. Why?"
"Doesn't she have school?" Shiki asked from looking up at her own Cell Phone.
Joshua crossed his arms. "Apparently so."
"Well that explains all the noise she made this morning." Neku grumbled, being reminded of his rude awakening.
"And considering we have nothing to do today, I guess we'll join her."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?!" Neku shouted in anger and confusion.
"Yeah. I jus' don't get it, man." Beat added.
Joshua giggled. "You'll see."
"This is why I don't enjoy getting caught up in his plans or ideas."
(Later)
(Shibuya High- Gym)
For the beginning of the year, in P.E., Penelope and her classmates always had to do a fitness test. The first part was stamina, which involved running.
Now Penelope was able to run for a while without getting tired and this was the same for flying (which kind of explains how she was able to quickly avoid those attacks), and she was faster than some of the boys.
She was also almost as fast as her crush, who was Sakura's boyfriend (and had broke her heart multiple times, but she drowned that out with beating the crap out of Final Bosses in her games.). The guy was a complete jerk and tended to tease and make fun of Penelope, but she didn't give a damn.
She then managed to catch up to him.
"Oh, hey, White…" He saw her wings.
"What's with the black skeletal wings on your back?" He asked.
"It's hard to explain."
"What, did they get stitched onto you or something?" He teased.
"No, I was forced to become a Reaper." Penelope responded, annoyed that she had to answer that question.
"Oh, no wonder I recognize those things."
Penelope rolled her eyes before finishing her last lap at the same time as him.
"You're getting faster, but you won't be faster than me." The boy bragged.
"Oh shut it Ouji*."
The boy, Ouji, smirked. "Face it, Penelope. You will never be better than me, ever."
"Arrogant son-of-a…" Penelope huffed, deciding to not finish her sentence.
To be even more of a jerk, Ouji rudely tugged on one of Penelope's wings, and she yelped. Making it worse, her classmates laughed at her (except for Sheridan, who was her only friend in this class right now.)
"Jerk." Penelope mumbled under her breath.
"Are you always teased like this?" Sheridan asked.
Penelope sighed. "Yeah. I'm always the "nerd" and the "Teacher's Pet" around here."
"Oh…Wonder what Joshua would think."
"He probably would make fun of me too, knowing Joshua."
"Yeah…good point."
(Meanwhile)
(Shibuya High)
"Now explain to me why I was supposed to register you all for school?" Mr. Hanekoma asked.
"Its boring staying around the house all day. It feels like death." Joshua answered.
Neku sighed. "You know Penelope is a hardcore gamer, right?"
"Yes, but she has locked up her game cabinets."
"Still…Why?" Mr. Hanekoma asked.
"I was also wondering about what she exactly does." Joshua added to his statement.
"I'm not going to be in your class though, right?" Rhyme asked.
"I think you might either be a freshman or you'd be in the Eighth Grade." Shiki answered.
"I'm thinking Rhyme will be in the same Homeroom but not the same classes. And we start next week, right?" Neku asked Joshua.
"Yeah."
"What? We have to go to school? Aw, man!" Beat sighed.
"Beat, you do realize we were registering for school, don't you?" Rhyme asked.
"I don't think I was payin' any attention…"
Neku sighed. "Of course…"
As Penelope was walking to English at the time, she noticed Neku, Shiki, Joshua, Beat and Rhyme as well as…Mr. Hanekoma, leaving the school grounds.
"What the…?"
"What's wrong, Pen-Pen?" Coco asked.
"Nothing."
(A short while later)
(English)
(Penelope's POV)
As we are assigned to our seats, I find that one seat next to me is occupied by Ouji and the other is empty.
Then the teacher instructs to start taking notes, and I immediately do so.
I hear Ouji mumble, "Teacher's pet."
I sigh before I begin to work.
(Timeskip to the end of the day)
School's over! Before our Homeroom Teacher dismisses us, he says, "Class, next week, some new students will be joining us.
I tilt my head. "New students already? That's different."
"Remember, these are your assignments for tonight unless you finished them during Study Hall."
I smile. I'm free for the night…oh wait. Ugh…Joshua.
That will probably take away some free time. That's when I hear Ouji say to a friend, "I know what White will be doing."
"What?"
"Probably talking to her video game friends."
I put my head on my desk.
Ouji, you have no flipping idea how freaking accurate you are.
(Later…)
(Penelope's House)
(Nobody's POV)
Penelope finally got home, tired from the school day. She opened up the door with her key, and found her house was strangely quiet.
Walking in and shutting the door after pulling her key out.
Then she saw Neku, Shiki, Joshua, Beat and Rhyme reading…? And Mr. Hanekoma was strangely there too.
"Oh…hey? I'm back!"
Penelope received a glare from Joshua.
"Shh. Quiet."
Penelope frowned. "He isn't that bad, like stupid Ouji."
Crossing her arms, Penelope went into her room and began talking to her friends on the phone.
Then the door slammed open and light was struck at Penelope.
"Penelope. I SAID QUIET. You're being noisy."
Penelope sighed. "Just a second…"
Pulling her ear away from her phone, Penelope glared at Joshua.
"How was I being noisy? Do you know how stressful my day has been?"
"Just be quiet."
The door closed.
Penelope continued talking but at a whisper tone.
"Sorry Yami. I have to be "quiet"."
Yami also spoke quietly. "Oh…okay. Why?"
"Joshua."
"At least he isn't as bad as Ouji. Ouji is a complete jerk."
"I know. I need to get over him."
"It will be hard. Ouji is one of the cutest guys in the school."
"I don't care. He's a jerk, and I know that."
"And who are you talking about?" Penelope stared at the open door and noticed Joshua.
"I'm trying to be quiet, I swear!"
"I'm aware of that."
"Okay, but just how close were you to the door?" Penelope asked.
"Not telling. I'm just curious."
"I'm talking about a guy from school."
Shiki popped her head in.
"Ooh! Is he cute?"
Penelope sighed. "He's a jerk. Now can I continue talking please?"
The door closed again.
Penelope stared at the wall.
"I have to go. See you tomorrow, Yami!"
"Bye!"
Penelope lied on her bed. "Life…is a complete jerk."
(A week later)
(Monday)
Penelope woke up and did the usual routine, and had more time today.
"Penelope?"
Penelope frowned at Joshua, who was strangely awake. "You should be asleep."
"No. I can't."
"Why not?"
"School."
Penelope began laughing and Joshua raised an eyebrow. "What's so funny?"
"You? Going to school? Okay listen, I'm not stupid."
Joshua frowned. "Neku and the others are going too. We registered on your first day."
"Registered?"
"They can't be the new students."
Penelope stared at the Composer, and her noise ears appeared, aiming at him.
"Yoshiya, I mean it. I'm not stupid or gullible. Stop messing with me."
Joshua smirked and before Penelope realized what he was doing, Joshua yanked hard on one of her noise rabbit ears and she yelped.
"OW! You little brat!"
Penelope immediately switched into her Cuniculus Cantus form.
"If you ruin my school uniform, I will erase you." Joshua threatened.
Penelope's eyes widened upon realization he was wearing a school uniform…which looked like the male one for HER school.
"Why are you wearing a uniform?" Penelope questioned, bearing her teeth.
"I told you. I have school."
Penelope switched back to normal and decided her eyes were playing tricks on her.
"I'm leaving early."
"Bye then."
Penelope left out the door and saw Sheridan waiting.
"Sorry if I kept forgetting to walk with you to school." Sheridan apologized.
"Its fine."
Sheridan looked at Penelope and saw her hair was kind of messy.
"Did you forget to brush your hair?"
"Hm?" Penelope began to run her hand through her hair in panic.
"God…Ouji will friggin make fun of me worse than normal if I look like this."
"Its fine. It's not that bad. Let's go."
As the two began walking to school, Joshua peeked out the window and sighed in annoyance.

(Homeroom)
(When class starts)
"Good morning everyone." The teacher greets.
Penelope was sitting up straight in her chair, and she heard Oji say, "Teacher's pet." Quietly.
"If you've forgotten, last week I said we would have new students joining us, and they're here today."
Penelope heard the door open and she immediately turned white.
"HOLY FLIPPING…HE WASN'T KIDDING."
"Please welcome Neku Sakuraba, Shiki Misaki, Daisukenojo Bito, Raimu Bito and Yoshiya Kiryu."
Beat twitched at his real name being mentioned.
The teacher assigned them to the remaining seats. "Yoshiya, you may sit next to Miss White."
Penelope was silent.
"Good morning, Penelope."
Penelope froze and then she fell onto her desk, falling unconscious from the nightmare that had just fallen on her in the grasp of this unbearable reality.
"Um, sir?" Ouji asked.
"Yes Mr. Sakae?"
"Penelope just passed out."
"Oh dear. I wonder what happened. Could you take her to the Nurse's office?"
"Why would I take the Teacher's Pet to the Nurse's Office?" Oji asked in anger.
"Mr. Sakae."
Ouji huffed before getting Penelope out of her desk and up to the Nurse's office.
Penelope was wondering subconsciously why this had happened to her.
(A/N: There's the tenth chapter! First…
*Ouji- I am under the impression this means "prince" in Japanese. I am also under the impression his last name, "Sakae" means "prosperity" or something along this lines of that.
And now Penelope has to deal with the TWEWY characters as classmates! How can her life get any worse? (Ouji making fun of her for it I guess.)
Fun Fact: Ouji, like how Sakura is Jo Dee's OWOOS counterpart, Ouji is Caspian (An OC I haven't brought up), who Penelope often tends to be attracted to, depending on the circumstance, or vice-versa. He was originally going to be called Caspian, but I decided I should use the Japanese word for "prince" instead.
