Author's Note: This is a double update. Plese red Chapter 9 first.
"Why you," the one in the pink tee growled. Suddenly, he's scowled turned into a sinister smirk. "I got an idea," he spoke lowly, "how would you like to take a dip?"
Your eyes widen and the man's smirk grew even wider. You heard the blonde and your childhood friend calling your name in worry as the man in pink already loosening his grip.
"Aoi!"
You felt your body slipping from the clutches of the man, falling down towards the lake. His grip on your shirt was finally gone and you fell straight down. You let out a grunt and quickly grabbed the guys on the ankle. The man yelped and started to fall forwards. You flung the guy into the lake and quickly clamped on the edge of the rocky cliff.
You heaved a sigh, thinking you were safe, but suddenly you felt something kicked your fingertips, peeling your fingers off the ledge of the cliff. You let out a shriek of shock, along with a deeper, yet girl scream. You started falling head first to the lake, still in your state of shock and another body fell over you. You gasped seeing light locks of blonde, a white dress shirt and black trousers. Suoh Tamaki.
Not long after, your body crashed in the cool water, fish scattered away to prevent getting hurt. Your body sunk in the depth of the water, your eyes stung with the sudden intrusion of lake water, making your eyes squint shut. You let out a cough, making the water bubble, floating to the surface of the water. Once you got your senses back, you start to move your arms and kick your legs, swimming towards the orangey lighted water. As soon as you head hit the cool air, you threw your head back and greedily gasped for air, while keeping your head surfacing the water. Soon, blonde hair surfaced and the male took in large amounts of needed oxygen.
"Stay underwater, dumb ass!" you snarled and dunked the blonde's head back into the water.
You let out a growl and swam towards the bank of the lake, where the other hosts were, plus the two guys who assaulted the girls from the cliff. The guy in the pink shirt, complete soaked, with a couple of bruises, understandable, but what made you raise your brow when you saw the guy in the hoody, having a very beat up face.
You pushed yourself up as soon as your palms gasped the grass land. You slowly stood up, completely soaked, from head to toe. The Shadow King threw you a white fluffy towel and you caught it without difficultly. You wrapped it around your wet body and your eyes averted to your childhood friend.
The brunette was looking down, your brown fringe covering and shadowed her face. You could see the small girl was slightly trembling and you didn't understand. Whenever you got into fights back in middle school, Haruhi was never like this at the aftermath of your cuts and bruises - she just treats them for you and lightly scolds you. Well, it also had to be the fact she never seen you fight, but when she did, she would instantly stop you and that's before anyone gets hurt.
"That was a dirty trick, kid!" you heard a snarl from the guy in pink, making you snap your head to the said man and glared at him and the twins slapping him on the head.
Soon, the blonde got out of the lake and slowly walked over to you. You twisted your body slightly, to glance at the second year.
"Kyuoya, please take these gentlemen away," Tamaki told the vice-president, in a surprising calm tone.
"Yes, of cause," the raven answered, shoving a dry towel, out of nowhere and handing it to the drenched one. He politely asked them to leave with a murderous smile, sending shivered down the two men's spine. They scrabbled away and all of a sudden the air became a lot tenser. "The girls went back to the hotel and I called I doctor. He should be arriving any minute now," the Shadow King informed the blonde and getting a thanks from his friend.
"I'm fine, you guys," you assured and rubbed your aching jaw, "I don't need a doctor."
You let out a sigh and were about take a step when Tamaki called you. "What were you thinking?" he growled, making you completely turn to your senior, "You know you're not like Honey sempai, you're not a martial artist. Why did you confront them? What made you think you would stand a chance, you, against two boys?"
Your face darkened and you're eyes squinting into slits, dangerously glaring at the man in front of you. "It doesn't matter that they were guys and I was a girl. I was there and they needed help," you rebutted, "and for your information, I was perfectly fine before you tripped over me."
"That's no excuse!" you heard your childhood friend yell at you. You snapped your head behind you, seeing an angry, yet worried Haruhi. "Don't forger you're a girl! You don't have the same physical strength as them! Why do you always get so emotional deprived and never think about the consequents?" the brunette hollowed, eyes getting slightly glassy.
Haruhi's outburst shocked everyone. Never had they seen her, this angry or even raised her voice. They were shocked indeed, but not as much as you. You weren't just shocked; you were hurt and felt much betrayed. You don't understand why your childhood friend is being like this. You don't understand why she raised her voice at you. She never did, not even when you come to her with a bruised face and a bloody nose. Yes, she scolds you, but never like this. Haruhi was always kind, motherly and considerate, especially to you. Then why is she being like this?
"You change Haruhi," you chocked, as salty tears stung your eyes. You finally had the conclusion towards the brunette's different behaviour and it angered you and the betrayal in your heart flared into an enormous flame. "You change, Haruhi," you stated again, but this time in a growling manner, "and it's all because of this damn Host Club!" Tears rolled down your tan skin as your pointed your accusing finger at the boys. "You were never like this! You never yelled at me, even when my condition was even worst then this!" you yelled as angry tears kept on rolling down face, "I thought you knew me! You know there was no one could help those girls! You know I'm capable enough to beat them up! You know that! Why did you change, Haruhi? Why did you forget who I really am?"
The brunette froze, her face displayed shock and horror and guilt was dunked all over her body. She shouldn't have yelled at you. She knew you were fragile and hated change, even the little slightest, and she felt very hypocritical. Images of your devastated expression at the last day of middle school and when you knew you had to move away from your childhood friend flooded her mind. She remembered why you get into fights. How could she forget? The struggles of not having parents and the guilt of not saying goodbye to a loved one, until it was too late because of your stubbornness.
"Aoi," Haruhi whispered your name as she drew out her hand, but you paid no attention to it.
"I don't think I did anything wrong and frankly I don't really care. Have you all forgotten? I'm a delinquent!" you stated and wiped away your semi-dried tears, "I'm sure Haruhi and Kyuoya sempai could tell you how many times I got suspended in one semester." With that, you walked past the Host Club, towards the forest.
The boys called for you was about to run after you, but Haruhi stopped them. "She needs time alone," the brunette told them, head hung low and right arm stretched out, as a barrier. Her hair shadowed her face, but the other hosts could see their secret princess was worried and very guilty. They stared at the brunette in worry, bit didn't say a word. They understand she needed her space too and the little fight among you and the small girl was a bit too much for her. The hosts decided to go back to the Ootori's villa and wait for you to come back on your own.
"Ta-dah! Here you go!" the small third year cheered, as he present different types of ways cooked fish, "Don't they look yummy?"
"I apologise that there weren't any cooks to help you cook, sempai, Haruhi," the second year told the two as he sniffed the delicious aroma.
"It's no big deal! We appreciate for letting me and Takashi stay here," the third year assured the raven with a sweet smile, while Haruhi just replied with an unenthusiastic, 'yeah'.
Suddenly, the double doors of the dining room opened, revealing the tall third year with his usual poker-face.
"Takashi!" the small blonde cried excitedly and jumped onto his cousin, "You're back!"
The other third year just nodded replying with his usual dull, 'yeah'.
Mori walked over to one of the large windows and carefully placed the eldest on the ground. He stared out the window, along with the other third year and slightly frowned at the cloud filled weather.
"It's awfully gloomy out there, huh?" Honey stated as he stared up in the black clouds, "It looks like it's going to rain."
"It's not just gloomy outside, it's pretty gloomy in the dining room as well," sighed Hikaru and glanced at the brunette, who is now sitting on one of the chairs, "just look at Haruhi."
"Come on, Haruhi, cheer up," Kaoru said, "Aoi would come back any minute, consider the weather."
"Yeah," the girl spoke dully and sat properly on her seat, "let's not wait for her. The food is getting cold."
The hosts glanced at one and other, before sitting around the dining table filled with food. The atmosphere is thick, awkward and tense, all because of a certain brunette. She's looking down at her lap and look closely, a dark cloud has formed above her head. The other hosts side glanced at each other, not sure what to do or say. What can they say? Their secret princess just had a fight with their other princess. It may not be big, but it defiantly affected the brunette - and possibly you - quite a bit. They can't just cheer her up. They're guys and this is a girl thing.
"Let's eat," Honey finally declared and gave an awkward grin.
Everyone started to dig in, but very cautiously. Haruhi, on the other hand, grabbed food after food, stuffing it in her mouth, but of cause politely. Her friends could clearly see the usual glutton is eating her guilt and sorrows away, but obviously, it's not working.
"Haruhi, don't you think you had enough?" the blonde second year asked the brunette, "If you feel that guilty, just talk to Aoi."
The girl paused and placed her bowl and chopsticks down. She didn't say a word, but just stared at her bowl of half eaten rice in front her.
"Nice going, Boss! You brought up Haruhi's sorrows!" Hikaru harshly whispered at the dumb blonde, making the second year gasp and widen his eyes in horror.
"Hehe, Haruhi, actually, um, I was just-"
"Should I really go talk to her?" the brunette asked softly, just ting off the second year, "I never raised my voice at her, even when she broke her arm once."
The room became silent; the only thing was heard was the soft taps on the glass window from the rain. Nobody really knew the answer; it was something that Haruhi had to decide herself.
"I mean I was so worried and frightened when I saw her fighting with those guys," she spoke again, " and when I saw her getting thrown off the cliff made my heart stop beating." Haruhi fisted her frilly dress and tears stared to drop from her eyes. "I never want to see her hurt, I never did, but I had never gotten this scared," the brunette muttered out, as the other hosts listened intensely, "but, but when I actually seeing her getting hurt with my own eyes, seeing how will her bruise and injuries would be formed, I felt so useless because I couldn't stop the fight, I could t help her."
The girl hiccupped and squinted her eyes shut, letting tears freely drop and roll out of her eyes.
"Haru-chan, I think you should talk to her tomorrow," the small blonde advices the brunette, "Aoi-chan would come back, but now she needs time to think."
"Yeah, let her cool off a bit," the elder twin told the brunette.
"Now she probably wouldn't really want to listen to you, even though you were worried more than we did," the younger twin explained.
"Wait, you guys were worried?" the girl blurted out and snapped her head up, looking at each host individually.
"We were all worried," the blonde second year chuckled softly and took a sip of his water.
"We started to get worried as soon we heard she was in trouble," explained the elder ginger.
"Yes, but also quite amazed she beat them up," the younger gingered nodded, "Tamaki sempai's speech was pretty useless telling the truth."
An arrow shot through the blonde's chest and he gasped, his ego completely bruised.
"Totally," agreed the other twin, "not a martial artist, ha! Man, Aoi could really throw a punch and her reflexes are awesome!"
"Yeah!" chirped the small martial artist, "For a person without any training, she sure does have excellent reflexes!"
Haruhi finally smiled and the hosts' unsaid secret mission 'Make Haruhi Feel Better' was a huge success!
"Thanks guys," the brunette smiled, the weight on her chest slightly lifted. She turned to the owner of the filler and asked to be brought to her room.
You sighed as you looked up at your reflection on the mirror. You stared at you tan lean figure, which is wearing a dry oversized white shirt. You stared at your slightly tanned face, with damp hair sticking on it. You stared into your sharp golden-orange eyes, seeing a smaller reflection of yourself in your pupil. Your guilt filled eyes, your understanding golden-orange eyes and your happy filled sharp, golden-orange eyes.
You recalled what you heard in the dining room and relief and happiness filled your heart. 'I'm such an idiot,' you thought and the corner of your lips uncontrollably hitched up into a lopsided goofy grin.
You turned off the tap and using the already damp towel, that the Shadow King gave you, you wiped your face.
"Man, who's room is this?" you muttered to yourself, "I was so in a rush to get to the toilet, I just ran into any random room. I should have cooked that fish a bit longer."
Suddenly, you heard the bedroom door click open, making you gasp and widen your eyes. "Shoot!" you caused and placed the towel over your damp hair.
You slowly open the bathroom door and walked out, seeing a tall, lean figure sitting on an arm chair, while drinking a bottle of water.
"I apologise, sir, I didn't mean to intrude," you told the man and bowed.
"Don't be silly, it's just me," you heard a familiar calm sickening voice.
"Ootori?" you breathed out as the man finally faced you. His grey eyes stared into your golden-orange ones and you finally let out a sigh and pulled off the towel off your head, knowing very well you probably will regret and take back what you're going to say. "Sempai, I'm sorry," you apologised, slightly lowering your head, "I didn't mean to make everyone worry."
The raven raised a brow, but then turned into a small smirk. "Thanks, but it wasn't particularly worried," he told you and took a swing at his water, "but I did had a hard time separating Hikaru and Kaoru from the punk wasn't thrown in the water. They almost beat him half to death." The man chuckled and stood up, placing his bottle of water on the small table in front of him.
Your face twisted into an uneasy scowl and slouched slightly. 'So that's why he looked so bruised and beaten up,' you grown inside your head.
"And because of you," the Shadow King spoke again, snapping your attention back to him, "I had to send each girl a bouquet of flowers to apologise. They've been looking forward for this trip and I didn't want to disappoint them."
Your lips went into a straight line and then took a deep breath. "I'll pay you back for the flowers," you groaned, already regretting what you had said so far and possibly whatever you say in the near future.
"Each bouquet cost me fifty thousand," the raven informed you and reached for the lights, "that's a grand total of six thousand yen."
"You know I could have just gone to the girls' individual room and apologise with a little show," you stated with a groan, "and who the hell buys flowers, which is going to die in a day or two for that much money?"
"Still so snappy, even though it was partly your fault," the second year darkly chuckled and slowly turned off the lights.
Your eyes snapped in alert, having an uneasy feeling in your gut. "Why did you turn the lights off?" you questioned your senior, getting quite uncomfortable.
The raven smirked and turned to you, eyeing you up and down, pausing at your unbounded chest. "If you really want to," he started with a slightly growling tone and bent down to your ear, "you could pay me back with your body." You froze an dropped the towel; eyes widen and heart beating three times faster. Kyuoya, using your state of shock, quickly grabbed you by the wrist and pulled you onto the bed. He hovered over your slim body, as you lied defencelessly under him. "Surely you aren't so naive that you think a person's sex doesn't matter," he stated lowly, staring into your panicked golden-orange eyes, "you left yourself completely defenseless against me."
You eyes widen and slightly gasped, but soon, your eyes sparked into mischief and your lips twitched into your infamous lopsided smirk. You circled your arms around the Shadow King's neck and pulled his upper body down. Faces centimetres apart, breaths mingled with each other and eyes staring at each other.
"I guess you're right," you purred lowly and racked your fingers through Kyuoya's soft raven hair, "I debt is a debt. My body is all for your use, Kyuoya."
The raven's eyes widen and breathe stuck on his throat. He stared at your mischievous golden-orange eyes, trailing down to your tall nose and cherry tinted lips. 'Those lips, curved into that lopsided smirk. They look so...' Kyuoya thought, having a very hard time to look away from your lips. He could not understand how you became the dominate one and so charming. He was always in charge, but now, he's like a deer stuck in headlights.
Your smirk grew wider and leaned towards the second year's body, your large chest touching his, nose millimetres from each other. Kyuoya, on the other hand, became slightly panicky. His heart raced three times faster as he stared in your alluring sharp golden-orange eyes. He gulped the lump developing in his throat, his Adams-Apple bobbed stiffly.
"Come on," you purred and leaned closer, nose grazing each other, "take me."
The Shadow King uncontrollably leaned his face closer, nose kissing each other, lips millimeters apart and from the slightest movement from anyone of them, their lips will meet. He stared into your suddenly hypnotic eyes, not able to look away.
"Kyuoya," your angelic voice rang into his ears, making the raven shiver, "my body is yours, Kyuoya."
