I apologise for not updating this story! I feel terrible. However, I promise that I will update it everyday now. I have all the drabbles planned out so my promise is not in vain now! This one is another Jaken oneshot. I honestly don't know why so many people hate on Jaken.
Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha.
Ever since Rin followed Sesshomaru, Jaken had one fear. That he would be forgotten about.
He knew that Rin had her flaws. She couldn't fend for herself and had to rely on Jaken or his Lord for everything. She never walked anywhere, or she would get tired easily; instead she rode on Ah-Un while the other two walked. She had caused so many problems; she was too cheery, she was at a disadvantage during fights and was constantly used as a hostage to harm his Lord.
Despite all that, Rin could cheer everyone up after a long day. She defended both Sesshomaru and Jaken when other humans insulted them and she had a way of making everyone happy. She was willing to do anything to help Sesshomaru or Jaken when they needed it, and her stubbornness, while a pain, could fend enemies of until Sesshomaru arrived to save her.
Jaken he would always be second place to Rin; but when Rin sent him that toothy grin of hers, Jaken knew that Rin wasn't the enemy. She was just a child. Rin was a a nuisance but Jaken knew that without her, he would be useless.
Sesshomaru did need a babysitter for the girl.
Jaken would never be forgotten.
