Here is a new chapter, I lost my train of thought on where this story was gonna so I'm gonna try to complete this story soon!
Summary: Tommy and Kim has returned to his home in Reefside and he as revealed to Kimberly his Dino Thunder Lair
Tommy's House
Tommy carefully made his way out of his basement and upstairs to his bedroom where he placed Kim's body down on top of the spread.." Hey Beautiful."
Kim's head rolled to the left and right
" It's time to wake up."
Kim's eyes blinked open a few times before they focused on Tommy.." You were...I never put two and two together...how many does that make it now?"
" Four."
Kim closed her eyes and smiled as her hands came into contact with both of his arms and she brought them up until they landed on his shoulders.." You are a true Rainbow Ranger with so many identities." Kim stated as she made eye contact with him
" True, but only the closest ones knows how I got to where I am today."
" So Please tell me how you ended up with a Command Center in your basement."
Tommy manuevered his body onto the other side of the bed and he made himself comfortable and Kim soon followed by laying her head on his chest and her hand clasping his left one.." It all started when I was chose to go into business with well known scientist Anton Mercer..
An hour later
While Kim absorbed the entire story that Tommy just told him, she realized that even though she had her struggles and he did as well after all he could've died twice the first with the explosion and then the coma and she wouldn't have known it as she herself was dealing with illness.." After hearing about what you have been through Tommy and you already know what I've been through, I just hope we can rebuild each other up and stand by one another."
" We will and I really meant what I said Kim, your stuck with me." Tommy applied
" And that goes double for me." Kim acclaimed as she leaned up a little and placed her lips against his then she moved back down to her previous position
" Hey Kim."
" Hmm."
" Does your family know about your condition."
Kim shook her head no
" You never told them."
" At that point in time whenever they decided to call me I told them that I was doing good and they never offered to come down and check on me they just took my word for it and I felt like if I had told him that something was inside my brain driving me to brink of insanity they would've had me committed in a psych ward." Kim explained
Tommy had nothing to say yet because he knew Kim wasn't through yet so he started to rub his hand up and down Kim's back
" I had an option to submit myself to an outpatient pysch ward but Landy stepped in and she made me her top priority and she really got me through my worst bouts, but there was still the point of when I just wanted to end my life and Landy had me on watch 24/7 and then I realized that if I could show Landy I was doing better I could get away from her and you know."
" Well from now on we will talk it out and try not to repeat any of this ever again." Tommy stated
" I give you my word Tommy, now that I got the help I needed to keep that voice away." Kim applied as she adjusted herself and she was now laying on her stomach with her head propped up on her hands that was placed against his chest.." Even though you said that I would have freedom to be what I used to be, I know that you won't do anything in your power to not help me through this, I just hope the burden doesn't wear you down."
Tommy brought his hand up and slowly fingered the strands of her hair.." It will be hard sometimes but this ordeal won't defeat us Kim, we will help each other no matter how small or how big the issue is."
" The main issue is your friends."
' Your Friends' Tommy thought to himself as he inhaled deeply then exhaled.." They are regretting their actions."
" I can't just forgive them yet, their looks of pity and the fact that they simply didn't care enough to check up on me just like my parents didn't ."
" Well how about we get you something to eat and then we can either take a nap or go touring around Reefside."
" My vote is for the first option, you can show me what Reefside has to offer tomorrow maybe."
" Okay, you rest for a while and I'll be be right back."
" Alright."
Tommy got up from the bed once Kim moved onto the other side of the bed, then he headed on out of the room
Kim closed her eyes and sighed as she made herself comfortable
Downstairs
Tommy found two cans of Campbell's Chunky Sirloin Burger Soup for the two of them to eat, so he opened them up and pour both cans into a microwaveable bowl and side stepped over to the microwave, Tommy opened the door and set the bowl inside and closed the door back just as the phone rung
" Incoming call from Oliver Residence."
Tommy quickly pressed the numbers on the front panel and then he pressed start before he hurried around the table and over to the wall phone.." Hello." Tommy asked after he pressed the green button
" Hey Son, what's up."
" Nothing much, I'm about to eat in a few minutes."
" Oh, well I'll just get straight to the point then."
" Okay."
" I just heard a bit of unsettling news."
" What kind of news mom." Tommy wondered as he made his way over to other side of the kitchen near the mircrowave
" That my son didn't call and tell me or his father that he was in the hospital." Mrs. Oliver exclaimed
" I'm sorry mom, but I will explain everything to you and dad later this evening."
" Fine Tommy..I won't pressure you but just be careful."
" Always am Mom." Tommy applied the mircowave time expired
" Okay, I love you son and you take care of yourselves..talk to you later goodbye." Mrs. Oliver stated as she hung up the phone
" Love you to." Tommy whispered to the dial tone as he removed the phone from ear and stared at for a few seconds as his brain caught up to her underline hint.." She knows that Kim is here." Tommy put the phone down on the counter top.." I wonder who told her, but at the moment that is not my first priority." Tommy mumbled to himself as he quickly got the soup out of the mircrowave into two bowls with two spoons placed inside the soup
Upstairs
Kim had just got down using the bathroom when she heard the steps creak underneath Tommy's weight marking, so she crawled back onto the bed and folded her legs just as Tommy came into the room carrying a tray.." Hey."
" Hi."
Kim smiled genuinely as Tommy placed the tray on the bed and then he settled down next to her.." That soup smells good."
" Yes it does and here is your bowl."
" Thanks Tommy."
" Your welcome Kim." Tommy decided not to tell her about the phone call just yet, so the two lovers said their grace and then they both started to eat their soup...
