Wade walked into Lavon's kitchen with Wyatt and looked at Annabeth. "Where is Zoe?"

"Work I guess. I haven't really seen her. Is she supposed to watch him today?"

"No I'm off but I haven't heard from her in two days. She won't answer my texts, calls, nothing. That's not like her especially since Wyatt came along."

"Like I said I haven't seen her. We've texted a few times but I haven't spoken to her."

Wade sighed and shook his head. "Alright."

"Hey guys." Lavon said walking into the kitchen

"Hey" Wade said

"Hi" Wyatt waved

"Sweetie, have you seen or spoken to Zoe?"

"I saw her at the Butterstick yesterday morning. Why?"

"I haven't seen, spoken or texted with her since the other night."

Lavon looked at him "What did you do?"

"Why do you think I did anything?" Wade asked

"Because Zoe has not gone three hours without seeing how he's doing in the time that he's been here. So I'll ask you again, what did you do?"

Wade sighed "We might have kissed."

Lavon hung his head and sighed "Wade"

"What? It wasn't all me, she did it too."

"What happened after that?"

"She ran off."

"I'll talk to her." Lavon said

"No, I'll talk to her." Annabeth finally spoke up

"Thanks. The social worker is coming today to check up on us."

"Are you going to end the foster care?" Annabeth asked

"Yeah if I can."

"Then you can change his last name right?"

"Yeah" he smiled "He can officially become a Kinsella."

"That's great, we'll have a party."

"Without Zoe."

"No, I'm going to find her now."

Annabeth left the house and Lavon just shook his head at Wade.

"Shut up. She kissed me just as much as I did her."

"Alright."

Annabeth walked into her house and saw Zoe on the couch. She stepped in front of her and put her hands on her hips.

Zoe looked up "Yes?"

"What is wrong with you?"

"What did I do?"

"Don't give me that innocent act. You kissed Wade and now you're avoiding him."

"He has a big mouth." Zoe sighed "I don't want to talk about it."

"Why?" She asked sitting down next to her

"Because I don't."

"Well he's very upset about this."

"Well I have feelings too." She snapped

Annabeth was shocked at Zoe's outburst. "You still have feelings for him."

"I don't know, I'm scared."

"That he's going to cheat?"

"No, I'm over that. I trust him. But I have never felt what I felt for him with anyone, not Joel, not my college boyfriend, no one. Those feelings scare me."

Annabeth put her hand on Zoe's shoulder. "This is something you need to figure out for yourself but can I say something?"

"Of course."

"I have never seen you or Wade happier than when you were together or even now when you are just hanging out with him and Wyatt. I never understood you and Joel, you looked and acted happy but something was missing."

"Chemistry, sparks, any kind of passion."

"You two always seemed more like brother and sister. You guys were…"

"Boring, you can say it."

"Little bit but that's in the past. You need to figure out your future and if it involves Wade and Wyatt."

Zoe nodded "I know, but I don't know if I can. I need time."

"Ok, but you can't avoid him and Wyatt."

"I'll have everything figured out soon. Wyatt makes everything harder though."

"How?"

"Seeing Wade with him makes me want to be with him. But I can't tell if it's just I want to take care of Wyatt, if it's just seeing Wade with him because the whole babies make guys hotter or if it's just that is what I want with my life. Is Wade and Wyatt my perfect picture?"

Annabeth smiled "As much as I want to answer that for you, I can't."

"I know, I'll figure it out."

"Good and you do remember that the social worker is coming today right."

"Crap, I forgot, he'll be fine."

"He's canceling the rest of the foster care today, he's making it official."

Zoe smiled "I know, he told me that last week."

"I'm so proud him, he has turned his entire life around."

"Yeah he has." Zoe smiled

"Well I have to run, keep thinking." Annabeth got up from the couch and walked towards the door. "I'll be back tonight, we'll do girls night."

"I will, have a good day. Can't wait for tonight."

Zoe paced every inch of Annabeth's house that afternoon. She was weighing her options and she still came up with nothing. The only thing she knew is that she needed distance from Wade and Wyatt. As much as she hated to do that and as much as she was going to miss the baby, she needed space and time to clear her head. Seeing Wade with Wyatt never made her options to clear. It just made Wade more irresistible. She really needed to think about what she wanted in life and what her new perfect picture was. One thing she did know is if she got into a relationship with Wade again and it didn't work out, not only would they suffer but so would Wyatt and she didn't want to do that to him.

Annabeth came home later that night and went in search of Zoe. She knocked on her bedroom door and waited for an answer.

"AB?" Zoe asked

"Yeah, can I come in?"

"Yep."

Annabeth went in and sat next to Zoe on the bed. "Do any thinking?"

"I did a ton of thinking."

"And what did you come up with?"

"I definitely need space."

"You're leaving?"

"No, I'm not doing that again but I can't spend every day with them and get a clear picture of what I want. It's not just Wade and I that I have to worry about. If we get together and fail, it will hurt Wyatt too."

Annabeth nodded "Ok, so how are you going to avoid them in our tiny town."

"Well I can't avoid them completely. I can see them around but I can't do just the three of us. It's too dangerous."

"I get it, good luck with that."

"Thanks."

"How are you going to tell Wade?"

"I'm gonna call him. I want to see how the meeting went today anyway."

"Oh right, let me know. I'll be downstairs."

"Sounds good.

Zoe picked up her phone and called Wade. He picked up on the third ring.

"Zoe, are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine, how was the meeting?"

"It went well, he's officially mine." He beamed

Zoe smiled as well. "I'm so glad, congratulations."

"Thanks. So what's up? How have you been? I'm sorry about the other…"

"Stop." She said "That's the other reason I called. I want to talk to you."

"About the other night?"

"Yeah, that really freaked me out."

"I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking."

"It wasn't just you, but it really got me thinking and this is going to sound familiar but I need space to think about that. I'm not leaving town don't worry but I can't be around just you and Wyatt. I really hope I'm not thinking too much of this but from the way we've been lately we've been getting pretty close."

Wade thought before he spoke, trying to make sense of what Zoe was saying. "I agree and you're not thinking too much into it. I was getting the same impression. I understand you're still unsure."

"It's mainly because of Wyatt. I don't want to hurt him or us again. I really need to make sure this is what I want. You know, my perfect picture."

"Yeah, I remember that. Don't worry take all the time you need." He responded kind of short.

"I'm sorry."

"It's fine I'll talk to soon I guess."

"Yeah, soon. Bye Wade."

"Bye." He hung up quickly and then looked at Wyatt. "She is crazy. Do I even want to get back with her?"

Wyatt crawled over to him and put his hands up for Wade to pick him up. "Yes" he said once he was in Wades arms.

Wade looked at him and smiled "That's a first. I guess you're answering my question."

"Yes." He repeated

"You're right, I do. I guess the big question is does she want us." Wade sighed

"Yes." Wyatt nodded this time

"We'll see." He kissed his cheek "Want dinner?"

"No" he laughed

Wade chuckled "I thought we were over that?"

"No" he said again with a grin.

Wade shook his head. "You are definitely mine."

Wyatt just laughed as they left the house and walked to Lavon's.

"Hey-oh." Wade said entering the house.

"Hello Kinsella Men, how are you?" Lavon asked

"We're pretty good. Just talked to Z-O-E. She is distancing herself from us because once again she doesn't know what she wants."

"Again? What's her issue now?"

"She doesn't know if Wyatt and I are her perfect picture, said she doesn't want to hurt him if it doesn't work."

"Well that makes sense. It's also something you need to think about from now on. Random girls are a no now."

"I know that but still."

"I get where she's coming from."

"Yeah, but she can't be around us, that's so stupid."

"I doubt that will last long and I am not about to try and figure out how Zo, Z-O-E's mind works."

"Woey?" Wyatt asked.

"Nope, Lavon." Lavon smiled trying to distract him

"Von." He smiled

"It's still messed up."

"Wade, give her a couple days. This is a big decision for her. Because I'm sure she's thinking long term. Is this." He pointed between Wade and Wyatt. "What she wants forever. Which you need to think about too."

"I didn't think about it in that specific way. Wow." He ran his hand through his hair.

"Yeah, can you see you and." He paused and looked at Wyatt "Big Z and Wyatt forever."

"Yeah." He answered quickly

Lavon looked at him "Wade, it's a big decision."

He thought for a moment. "Yeah I guess it is. I love her and I want to be with her but you're right, it's something to think about." Lavon nodded. "She's so good with him and he loves her and she looks hot with my kid." He smirked

"Wade."

"Right, sorry. That's not important."

"No, it's not. Wait, did you say you love her?"

Wade laughed "Yeah, you can't tell me that you didn't know that."

"Well yeah I did but I didn't think you did."

"I know it and so does she. I told her in May." He said pretty confident

"Care to share?"

Wade smirked and sat Wyatt on the counter with some fruit. He took a deep breath and told Lavon the whole story.

Lavon had the biggest smirk on his face when Wade was done. "I'm so proud of you man."

Wade smirked back "Thanks, not that it did much." He shrugged

"Oh stop it, you know that girl loves you."

Wade just nodded and looked at Wyatt who was shoving the last piece of banana in his mouth. Wyatt looked up at him "Da" he smiled.

Wade just beamed at his son. "Yeah" he tousled his blonde hair.

"Just give her some time Wade. This is a lot to take on." He looked between Wade and Wyatt

"I know, I get it. Thanks for listening, I got to get him down for a nap before he becomes more of a terror than he already is." He chuckled

Lavon smiled "I love Daddy Wade."

"Yeah yeah. I'll see you around." He said picking Wyatt up and turning towards the door.

"Bye Wyatt." Lavon waved

Wyatt waved back "Bye"
