(London, Earth 2006)
The two cats raced away as fast as they could, trying to get away from the men with nets in the dead of the night. The scampered down the alley as they were chased. The two cats had heard rumors about the two-legs with nets. The cats that were taken by them, NEVER came back.
"Which way do we turn Socks?" the smaller grey she-cat said to the larger black and white tom. They had come to a dead end. The alley was practically empty. Nothing they could easily jump on to get over the high fence.
"I-I don't know Ruby!" the tom said in a panicked voice. They heard a noise and turned to see two large two-legs with nets. Before they could do anything, the two-legs had caught them and were dragging them back to a van. They were roughly put inside a cage and thrown inside. The outside of the van said "Riley's Animal Control" but the logo on the inside of the doors was a big "C" for Cybus Industries.

(Orbiting Earth, 5 billion A.D.)
Cinderheart stepped out of the TARDIS and Spottedfang followed not far behind. They marveled at the scenery of the space station they were on. They had never seen anything made by two-legs from the future! Everything was shiny and bit retro (though they didn't know that). The medicine cat stepped out and leaned against the TARDIS smiling.
"Whoa!" Cinderheart said in awe, "When are we?"
"It's the year five billion. Right now we're in a space station orbiting the earth." he said with a smug look.
"Guys! Come check this out!" Spottedfang said looking out the window of the viewing platform. The two walked over to see the Earth below.
"It's amazing..." Cinderheart said. This is the second time she had seen the earth like this, but it's still amazing. But then something happened. The sun grew brighter and larger. Spottedfang and Cinderheart took a few steps back and their ears flattened. "M-medicine Cat? What's going on?" she asked a bit nervously.
"Your sun is a star. And currently, it's expanding to become a red giant before it supernovaes." the Medicine Cat said.
"I'm sorry can you explain in terms WE understand?" Spottedfang asked.
"Your Sun is coming to the end of it's life cycle." he said.
"WHAT?!" the two companions said.
"Is that why we're here? To stop it?" Spottedfang asked hopefully.
"Nope." he said simply, "This is meant to happen. Every star eventually dies, they have to. Change is what keeps the universe going. It's the one constant. Nothing lasts forever, but when one door closes, another opens."
"B-but if it's expanding, the Earth is going to get caught in the fire! You said that's what stars are made of. The Earth is going to get destroyed! All the creatures on there too! What about them?!" Cinderheart pleaded.
"Nothing's living on the earth anymore. It's uninhabitable now. The humans left long ago. They knew this was going to happen even during your time! They took many of the other inhabitants of earth with them too. Like your kind." he said with a smile.
"T-they took us with?" Cinderheart said feeling a bit touched.
"Yep!" the Medicine Cat said, smile widening.
"But what about all those things they did to the clans from the legends? And they took their pets to the grave with them in Egypt. I know you want us to respect them, but why would they?" Spottedfang asked.
"Any species capable of great good can also be capable of great evil. There is a dark and light to everything." the Medicine Cat said.
There was a long silence before Cinderheart broke it. "Dispite it being the end of the world, it really is beautiful. Thanks for taking us." she said and Spottedfang nodded in agreement.
He turned to look at them. "Eh, it was nothing." He said with a half smile. Suddenly he heard something, footsteps. He turned towards the sound. He heard a voice that seemed fimiliar. "I'll be right back, you guys keep enjoying the view."
He walked over toward the sound and the voice got louder. It was deep and male. He heard a higher voice as he got closer. When he looked around the corner he saw the source of the voices, and he froze. It was him. He saw a tall man wearing black pants, a green long sleeve shirt, and a black leather jacket. It was the Doctor. 'No.' he thought to himself, 'I can't let him see me! This is bad!' The Medicine Cat knew this was not the time and place to meet the Doctor again. It would cause a lot of paradoxical problems for both of them plus their companions.
The Doctor had been talking to his companion, when he turned his head and saw the Medicine Cat. The Doctor's eyes widened and his smile fell as he saw him and the medicine cat quickly ducked out of sight and ran back to his companions. He could hear footsteps coming closer. When he saw Cinderheart and Spottedfang, he skidded to a halt.
"You two, get back inside the TARDIS. Now!" he said with slight panic.
"Medicine Cat? What's going-" Cinderheart started but was cut off as the Medicine shoved her and Spottedfang towards the TARDIS door.
"No time to explain! Just get in!" he said looking behind him. He could still hear the footsteps. He followed his companions inside and made the TARDIS silently dematerialize.
The Doctor came around the corner just as he saw the Medicine Cat's TARDIS faded from existence. A hint of sadness filled his eyes for a moment. Rose came around the corner after a few minutes.
"Doctor, what was that about?" she asked giving him a confused look.
"Oh, nothing...I...just thought I saw someone I recognized." he said absentmindedly.

(In the TARDIS)
"What was that about, Medicine Cat?" Cinderheart asked. The Medicine Cat was pressing buttons and pulling levers, causing the TARDIS to take off. He wasn't paying attention to her. "MEDICINE CAT!" she shouted, getting his attention. "What was going on?" she asked.
The Medicine Cat looked at her for a few seconds before closing his eyes and sighing. He turned towards her and Spottedfang and said, "I saw someone there. Someone I know very well, but I wasn't supposed to meet up with him yet, so we had to leave." "You see, long befor I met you two, I knew a man, a Time Lord known as the Doctor. I've known him for most of my life, and I saw him on the station we were on," he explained, "but a future version of him told me a bit about when I was going to meet up with him again-before I met you two of course-and it wasn't supposed to happen on that station. If I had, it would have caused a paradox, a wound in time, and if the paradox was big enough, it could rip the universe apart."
Spottedfang and Cinderheart looked at each other before turning towards the Medicine Cat and nodded. They didn't quite understand everything, but what they did understand was if the Medicine Cat did something befor he knew he was meant to, bad things would happen. The Medicine Cat smiled and everything was peaceful for a second. But then the TARDIS shuddered and quaked. All three of them were taken by surprise. The Medicine Cat was clinging to the controls.
"What's happening?!" Spottedfang said trying and failing to stay standing up.
"We're being forcibly ripped from the time vortex!" the Medicine Cat yelled. He frantically began pressing buttons and pulling levers.
"Can you stop it?!" Cinderheart asked hopefully.
"NO!" the Medicine Cat said while twisting a knob, "but I can give us a softer crash landing, one that may not kill us!"
"WE'RE GOING TO CRASH?!" the two companions said in fear.
"Yep!" the Medicine Cat said busying himself, " HOLD ON!" The TARDIS shook violently and the three were tossed about inside.

Jayfeather opened his sightless eyes quickly and gasped. That had got to have been the strangest dream he had ever had! He was on some sort of...two leg...thing...in the future floating above earth with Cinderheart and some other cat. Then he was crashing in this blue tree stump that was bigger on the inside! What could it possibly mean? Did it mean anything? Star Clan hadn't spoken to him since the prophecy about the Dark Forest.
"Jayfeather?" he heard a voice. It was Briarlight. "Are you alright?" she asked.
"I'm fine." he said, "Just go back to bed." He curled back up again and he assumed she did the same in her nest. He fell back to sleep, still puzzled by the strange dream.

To be continued...
What's this? the actual Jayfeather? How can this be? well I'll tell you...in the next chapter! :D Sorry for being evil and leaving you on a cliffhanger like this, but I want you guys to know I'll try to update this story arch as often as I can. I've been planing this one since I started this series! also in this arch, which will be separated into two episodes (so around 6 or 5 chapters). Also, In this story arch there's going to be some pretty serious scenes and you guys will finally get some backstory about the Medicine Cat! Man I'm excited! anyways, please review! It seriously gives me more motivation to write this faster, even if it's just "nice chapter" or "can't wait for the next one". If you don't review, that's cool too. I'll probably get these chapters put out fast anyways, as long as I'm not loaded with home work.
