Chapter 10

Meanwhile at the Magical Council Hall…

"So, you're saying that there have been kidnappings of wizards at this casino?" the head asked Laharl.

"Yes sir! It is said that Fairy Tail is there taking care of it, well Kana and EWendy were there at first and then Natsu, Lucy, Gajeel, Grey, and Erza went in to take care of it! It looks like they are off the map as we speak!" Laharl said.

"I did hear that they have new wizards among them." One of the other members said.

"New wizards?" the head asked.

"By the name of Harry Dresden and Molly Carpenter, not sure from where but they do use magic pretty well." The member replied.

"Interesting! Well then, Laharl, go and see who these wizards are and make sure they won't cause any damage in the process like Natsu and the other Fairies!"

"Yes sir!" he exclaimed.

Back at Malfoy's Hideout…

"Fire Dragon Wing Attack!" I exclaimed and more goons went down.

"Way to go sir!" Happy exclaimed.

"Was that the last one?" I asked him.

"Aye sir! Even Grey and Kana took the others out as well!" he exclaimed.

"Good! Now that's done, we better find the others and take out Malfoy!" I exclaimed and turned to rejoin Kana and Grey.

"Looks like you got your goons Dragon Breath!" Grey greeted me.

"Shut it Ice Boy or shall I say Brain!" I said.

"You better shut it as well…what did Harry call you? Oh yeah, Pinky!" Grey exclaimed.

"Was what that?" I asked and the both of us started to do a tug of war on each other.

"Hey! You two stop it right now! We need to find the others and get to Malfoy!" Kana yelled.

"Yeah! Yeah!" we both said.

We started heading down from the hallway where we fought and managed to find Gajeel and Panther Lily finishing off a group of goons themselves; as the last one went down Gajeel dusted himself off and Lily changed back into his tiny form.

"Whoa! I guess we weren't the only ones to finish off in time!" I exclaimed.

Gajeel grinned and said, "Looks like you all had an easy time like we did Salamander."

"You got it!" I exclaimed.

"Now that we got back together, we better find Lucy and the others." Grey said.

We walked down the hallway that Gajeel had Harry and some girl he mentioned that resembled Lucy but had a lizard guild mark on her neck ran down the hallway to find Wendy, Erza, and Lucy. Once we got to an opening, we saw ice form out of nowhere.

"Did you just do that Frost Breath?" I yelled.

"You know I can't do that without conjuring my magic!" Grey yelled.

We saw frozen and beaten goons on the floor. Even some of them were burned from fire magic.

"Oh hi guys!" Harry said said as the smoke and fog started to clear.

"You did all of this?" Kana asked.

"Nope, me and this girl helped out!" Harry answered as he pointed to Wendy, who was sucking in some air to heal herself.

"Air magic and ice make a powerful force!" Happy exclaimed.

"And fire, since he can use both!" I said.

We saw some of the prisoners jumping for joy that they were released like the others.

"Looks like our friend with the keys shown up to bring happiness to many!" Happy exclaimed.

I looked and saw the Lucy look-alike, I don't know what her name was at first but she looked exhausted from using magic.

"So, now that we got everyone out, now what?" Erza asked from behind.

"Find Malfoy of course!" I exclaimed.

"Malfoy?" Um…Not-Lucy….hey, my name my rules! Not-Lucy asked.

"He was the one using potions to kidnap everyone from a casino that Kana and Wendy were working at, then he got me and it looks like everyone else." Lucy explained.

"You got it, at least the new girl was able to save us by freezing someone with the keys." Grey said.

Not-Lucy blushed when she saw Grey and asked, "Um, should you be wearing clothes?"

Harry handed him his oversized coat to Grey and said, "I should get you a censor bar."

Grey put it on and then Kana took out her card that held one of Malfoy's henchmen.

"Okay, now it's time to talk! You need to tell us where Malfoy's quarters are or at least where he goes!"

"Since you were pulled away, his quarters are usually in a tower!" Zanabar told her.

"Tower?" I asked.

"Kind of think of it, I did feel an incline as we left with his goons to be locked up." Harry said.

"Where is this tower?" Erza asked.

"I won't tell you unless you let me go!" Zanabar exclaimed.

"Fat chance! We will find it on our own!" Kana exclaimed and put the card away.

"Are you sure you should be doing that?" Wendy asked.

"He won't talk so be it!" Kana exclaimed.

We told the prisoners to start heading out, according to Not-Lucy, she saw a doorway heading down when she came in and that would probably lead to an exit. As the people left, we headed up to find Malfoy to give him what he needs!

I sniffed around with Wendy and Gajeel to find the whereabouts of Malfoy until Wendy called out, "I found the entrance!"

"Way to go Wendy!" Lucy exclaimed.

We ran into the tower and headed up the stairs and I was about to barge in when Not-Lucy called out, "Wait!"

"Huh?" I asked.

"Shouldn't we have a plan before barging into this room blindly? You know this Malfoy guy might have more goons waiting despite how many we have taken down."

"She does have a point." Carla said.

"Well, what are you thinking then Not-Lucy?" I asked.

"What?" she asked.

"Don't mind him, he doesn't catch names very easily or faces!" Lucy told her.

"I guess it doesn't help that I have blonde hair and blue eyes that I kind of resemble you." She said.

"Good point! So, Grasshopper, what is your plan?" Harry asked.

"Well…" she said and started explaining.

A moment later, I was right next to the one now called "Grasshopper," who had two wands out.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." I said.

"Just stick to the plan and sing along with the music." She told me.

"All right!" I said and then kicked the door open and then music started playing.

Malfoy blinked as I had fire torches in my hands as I started singing:

"B-b-b-be careful making wishes in the dark!"

"Dark!" I heard from Grasshopper.

"Can't be sure when they've hit their mark! And besides in the mean meantime, I am just dreaming of tearing you apart Malfoy! I'm at the details with the devil, so now the world cannot get me on my level! I just get you off the cage, I'm a young lover's rage! Gonna need a spark to ignite!" I sang and ate the two blue flame torches in my hand and danced a bit more while some of the goons laughed. "My songs know what you did in the dark!"

"Keep going sir!" Happy exclaimed.

"So light em up! Up up! Light em up up up! Light em up up up up! I'm on fire DRAGON ROAR!"

I let out my flames and they went sailing at Malfoy.

He used a potion bottle which sent blue flames to engulf it.

"What the hell?" I yelled.

The smoke cleared and Malfoy was untouched.

"Not bad Salamander! You used a farce to entertain me? How cabaret! Let me show how fire should be really used!" he exclaimed and had more of the potion bottles and threw them and more flame came out at me, Happy and Grasshopper, which she vanished all of a sudden. That coward!

"Great dufus, you failed the plan!" Grey exclaimed as he came out naked and Harry pulling his coat back on.

"Hey! I wanted to send out my fire while I was at it!" I exclaimed.

"Like this?" we heard and more potion bottles came flying.

"Requip! FIRE EMPRESS!" Erza exclaimed. "I think we should stop arguing and start fighting!"

"I agree!" Lucy exclaimed and held up one of her keys. "OPEN! GATE OF THE CENTAUR! SAGITARIUS!"

Never thought I would see a guy wearing a cheap horse suit come out of nowhere!

Hey! It was my turn to tell the story! Lighten up Harry!

Now I need to take the reigns again Dragon Breath! Ahem! I never seen a faerie do that before in the NeverNever unless it was Lily while she was alive when she called on her fire butterflies or Totania calling on the Brothers Gruff to come after me, but a spirit summoning like this is incredible!

"Me lady! What shall I do for you?" Sagitarius asked.

"Shoot your arrows and make sure you get Malfoy!" Lucy ordered.

"Yes ma'am!" he exclaimed and started to fire arrows.

"Interesting! A celestial spirit! No wonder I kidnapped you Ms. Heartfilia! I thought I would be able to use your talents to my advantage!" Malfoy exclaimed.

"Fat chance! I only belong to Fairy Tail!" she exclaimed. "Keep firing Sagitarius!"

"We should help her out Boss!" Molly exclaimed as she shown up from behind from her veil.

"Welcome back Grasshopper!" I exclaimed.

"I didn't want to be toast after Natsu decided to throw the first punch!" she told me.

"He did that with me, come on! Let's join in! Forzare!" I yelled as I held up my blasting rod.

She held up her hand and muttered a word and ice bats went flying at Malfoy.

After a moment of fighting, potion bottles ran out and we finally got him down.

"Looks like we got you Malfoy!" Natsu exclaimed.

"You made me use all of my potion bottles and took out my best wizards as well!" he said and saw both of his assistants on the floor at Erza's and Gojeel's feet.

We heard applause and saw a guy with black hair and purple eyes standing in the room.

"Was he heare before?" I asked.

"That's Laharl, he is from the Magic Council's Fourth Enforcement Division here in Fiore." Carla told me.

"Not bad Fairies! You caught the guys we were keeping an eye on!" he said as he came over to where me and Molly stood. "So, you must be the new wizards! Not bad of a magic skill! Wind, ice, and fire for one while the other ice and illusion?" he asked.

"Wait, how did you know?" Molly asked.

"I watched once I arrived here!" he said with a sly smirk.

More enforcement officers appeared and he told them, "Arrest Malfoy and the two men!"

They saluted and did so.

"What about the other minions he had?" Gojeel asked.

"Already taken care of!" Laharl answered. "Knowing that the casino owner will be happy to know that the kidnappings are now over and the one who did it was arrested, I guess I will send Makarov the damage forms."

Natsu and crew groaned in annoyance, since we did do a lot of damage, I had a feeling that theold Merlin of Fairy Tail gets those forms a lot.

We got back to the casino to tell the Boss guy about what happened and how the owner was behind it.

"No way, Malfoy did it all this time?" he asked.

"Yep! Looks like you're the owner now Mr. Boss!" Wendy exclaimed.

"I guess so! Well, here's your payment girls!" he said and handed them their payment.

"Hey! What about us? We helped them in getting the goons and Malfoy as much as they did!" Lucy exclaimed.

"Oh yeah! Here!" he exclaimed and handed us free game tokens. "You guys can come back anytime to play for free!"

Lucy groaned.

"It's okay Lucy, you can get your rent money on another job." Happy told her.

"Which I am overdue." She muttered.

Despite the adventure and side track from getting me home and now Molly back to Arctus Tor, I am now wondering how I will get back home and Molly back there! Hoping Makarov has the answer!

Author's Commentary

Hey guys! Sorry for the wait! I have been busy with finals, graduation, and also a reading contest! Now I am back!

I know it was weird seeing a call back to Cold Days but it was my favorite moment of the book when Molly used her magic to have Queen playing! Why Fall Out Boy? Well, I was listening to the song and saw Natsu singing it out of nowhere! Yeah, it is funny imagining if the scene was animated and Todd Habercorn has to sing it! I would feel bad for the Japanese Seiyu for Natsu though since it would probably be in English for him to sing! Anyways, I had fun writing it!

And also, sorry for the title change! Gondras gave me a better one! So, stay tuned for the next chapter!
