Chapter 10 - Revelation

The hooded figure disappeared that night, taking Lucy with them. Before all of this happened Lucy had this plan on taking her kids out of this mess. She asked Loki to take Rune and Rain to the celestial world for a while until the hooded figures disappeared, before he passed the gate under his will and take them to magnolia.

Rune and Rain opened their eyes and found themselves beside Loki in the same Onibus town 2 hours after every hooded figures disappeared "Umm… W-who are you?" Rain asked his injury inflicting with pain "I am Loki… Your mother's friend and the celestial spirit of the key you're holding" He said as Loki grabbed his key from Rain's pocket and placed it safely inside his bag "Did you still remember what your Mom told you? We have to make it fast to magnolia before my magic drains. At this hours there's no train ride so we have to travel there barefooted" Loki said as the two boys stood from the ground. Rain's right arm was injured with fracture because of the fall. He is also bruised up just like Rune who landed on his backpack which didn't hurt much.

Rune was actually hesitating to go with Loki but he remembered that Loki was the one scurrying to their room when he warns Lucy that the hooded figures are gaining in them. He also realized that Loki is the one who protected them. Rain on the other hand didn't have any hesitation regarding Loki's accompaniment he knew right from the start that his Mom probably enticed Loki to help them reach the Fairy tail Guild.

Loki accompanied the two in their destination. He realized that Magnolia is too far and the twins are in pain. He used his magic to make their trip faster so they could arrive to Magnolia before his magic will drain. He used all his force for the twins until…

~ Foot of Magnolia Town, Exit Of East Forest, 9:52 am ~

Loki tried to hold on but at last he couldn't take it anymore his magic are draining and it was a long journey so he needs an ample amount of time to recover inside his key. In instance he fell down on the ground clenching his left arm. Rain and Rune gasped and ran to his side "Uncle Loki! Don't go yet!" Rune pleaded as Rain started to feel tears burn on his eyelids

"Rune… Rain I can't go on anymore my powers are already draining. Along the road is Magnolia town where the Fairy tail guild is located, Go there and maybe you'll be able to find Gray ther-" He was cut off by his own wince of pain "Uncle Loki!" Rune called out "You're older than Rain, Rune… Take care of your brother go to Fairy tail now… I have to go" He winced again as he disappeared and a cloud of golden dust scattered around. Rune sniffled restraining his tears from falling the two felt lonely without the accompany of Loki but Rune stood up as Rain eyed him sniffling.

"Rain… Let's go already" Rune declared as he walked away from the scene. Rain stood up and followed shortly behind him after he wiped away all of his tears.

When they arrived to a cliff like area they saw the fairy tail guild. Rain's right arm is starting to bring a lot of pain "Just hold on a little... We'll be in fairy tail soon" Rune encouraged his younger brother who nodded weakly. They started walking to the guild and the townspeople eyed the two little boys who was badly bruised up. Rain is starting to walk groggily and so is Rune must be from their bruises followed by the sun's heat.

They walked until they reached the guild doors in the verge of passing out.

The guild doors flew open revealing the badly injured kids. Some members of the fairy tail had their eyes on the two kids "Oh gosh those kids they're injured!" Mira yelled catching the attention of the other members

"Rune Rain!" Levy yelled her eyes widened as the twins fell down the ground knocked out of their consciousness "Rain! Rune!" Wendy and Levy came running to the twins "Who is this kids?" Mira asked rushing to them "Save the explanation for later they're badly injured!" Wendy exclaimed examining the structure of the two kids.

"Bring this two kids to the infirmary now!" Mira demanded as some guild members carried Rune and Rain to the infirmary "I'll go get Gray… You stay with Rune and Rain… Don't say anything about them yet got it?" Levy reprimanded as Wendy nodded in response "Got it" She said rushing to the infirmary with the twins.

Levy ran immediately to Gray's house

*knock* *knock* She knocked harshly almost in the verge of breaking his door.

He opened the door in a few minutes "Levy? What's wrong?" He groggily said yawning seems like he was taking a fretful nap before Levy came knocking "I don't know how… But Rune and Rain are at the guild they're badly injured" She asserted. He immediately came to his senses followed by his eyes widening "What?! Let's go!" He said before slamming his door close and went running to the guild.

After a few minutes Levy and Gray arrived at the guild panting heavily the same time Natsu and Lisanna arrived from their mission. Lisanna walked up to her brother while Natsu raised his eyebrow in confusion. He thinks that something terrible is going on judging the way on how Levy and Gray acted.

The two rush in the infirmary while Natsu crept up behind them.

"What happened?!" Gray bellowed with anxiety and agony.

"The yellow haired boy was fractured in his right arm so we already bandaged it up after Wendy healed it while the black haired boy became senseless because of fatigue and it seems like he was all bruised up the same as the yellow haired one that's why we already treated their bruises and had Wendy restore some of their energy but they might be asleep for while but they're ok now" Mira declared as Gray sighed in response and stroke Rune's hair gently "Are you alright? You should rest now…" Gray asserted his words fill with worry. He then turn to Rain and stroke his hair gently "How about you? Stay strong and rest I'll be here" He said as Wendy and Levy bit their lips. They didn't knew that Natsu was listening but soon he retracted his attention and decided not to listen to much.

After an hour Levy, Wendy and Mira leaved Gray with the kids. Gray was waiting for the two just in case they'll wake up…

~~ 7:18 p.m. ~~

Gray felt asleep on Rain's bed but soon he was disturbed by Levy and Wendy "Gray?" Levy called out to him as they walked to their direction. Gray turned to see his visitor "You've been here all day… Come on you should go out for a while and eat. We'll be guarding Rune and Rain" Levy said as he shook his head "I am fine… The boys may woken in mere seconds while I am not here so I am not leaving anyway… Is the guild filled with humours about the boys now did you tell anyone anything about Rune and Rain" Gray interrogated as Levy took a deep breath and they both sat down on the bed next to Rain's

"Well… We weren't planning on telling but you know Mira she wants to know everything we can't do anything to stop her so I was at my limits then I said that Rain and Rune is the son of Lucy. I only said that no other details regarding anything on how Lucy's alive nor about Rain and Rune's father" Levy divulged as Gray sighed and Wendy closed her eyes "What to do now?" Wendy said as Gray stood up and looked at the twins. Suddenly Rune started twitching his fingers Gray abruptly noticed as he rushed to his side "Rune?!" He called out as Levy and Wendy stood up to see the little guy's condition

Slowly his raven coloured eyes opened. Blinking lightly "Rune! You're awake! Are you alright?! Are you feeling fine?" Gray said feeling his temperature Wendy and Levy smiled but suddenly they heard somebody screamed!

"DAMNIT! Gray, Levy, Wendy!" They heard that familiar musky voice that was yelling through the hallway. Showing his outbreak through the hallway walls that he punched…

"Why the hell didn't you tell me!" They turned to see Natsu filled with rage. Gray stood up and instantaneously glared at the pink haired mage "What the hell is wrong with you asshole?! You're disturbing the rest of Rune and Rain!" He cried out filled with anger.

"What's this Mira saying that Lucy is the mother of that two boys!? Lucy's dead isn't she?!" Natsu curses under his breath. Gray took a deep breath

"Get out of here!" He withstand as Natsu shook his head "No way! Tell me that Lucy's alive right now?!" Natsu yelled as the prominent guild members started to rush and see the ruckus going on inside the infirmary "So what?! What the hell would you do if you knew she's alive huh?! You don't have any concern regarding her anymore you pathetic piece of junk!" Gray tried retracting their argument to another topic away from Rune and Rain

"Before Lucy died I am the one she's in relationship with you stupid thrash! Don't forget that!" He screamed as the guild members gathered around. Gray swallowed a huge lump on their throat.

"Right now I don't know what's happening anymore… Fucking tell me Gray! Am I those two boys father?!" He exclaimed as Gray closed his eyes a flash back recurring through his mind that day he first saw Lucy alive… up and about

"Thank you… I really don't want Rune and Rain to know who their father is. This past few years I became diligent in raising them to act more like me rather than to act more like their father. Rune is somehow taking his attitude to his father while Rain takes mine. I don't think Natsu is fatherly image for them"

These are Lucy's words that went spinning inside his mind.

Gray opened his eyes to meet Natsu's raging gaze. Swallowing a huge lump on his throat, taking a deep breath he face him…

"No Natsu… I am their Father"
