Alright, so since I'm back on I have an inkling to start writing some again. So here is a taste of something, let me know what you think. If it's worth it, I'll continue. Maybe even start a new story. But Enjoy!

.

Silence fell over the room as the strange and busy man walked out of the room. It was broken by a sigh that escaped the Prince of Spirit world's lips as he sat back in his chair. "Well there you go! Your new mission. Now go get to it." He told them waving the four males he had worked so close with out the door.

"So how do we go about finding three girls we know nothing about but a name possibly?" The ever impatient Yusuke asked as the four boys left the room. "This is an impossible mission. Save the world? Sure. Find three unknown, unnoticeable girls? A stretch, but possible. Work with girls to save the world? Impossible, especially since we don't even know from what!"

"Perhaps it will be easier than we all think." Kurama stated simply lost in thought. The eyes of two of those girls haunted him. He knew he had seem them before, but where was the question.

"What do you know? The sooner we find them the sooner we will be done. So share Fox." Hiei replied.

"For all we know they aren't even in the same town! Vacation baby!" the tallest boy Kuwabara chimed in excitedly.

"Now that's what I'm talking about. Beaches, the sun, babes in bikinis. Yea that's the life." Yusuke added with a grin.

"If we were leaving the immediate area, Koenma would have mentioned it." Kurama replied bringing them all back to the facts. If the young ruler expected them to do their jobs correctly and fairly quickly, then he would tell them all that he knew. And since he said nothing about leaving their homes this time, the red haired male could only assume that the three girls were close.

"Hmph. Knowing that sarcastic SOB, they are right under our noses." Hiei agreed with Kurama.

"Fine. Where do you suggest we start?" Yusuke folded his arms across his chest. He'd prove those two wrong. The only reason he saw worth finding the girls is to figure out exactly what they were up against.

"We should start perhaps by scouting out areas in town that are frequented by those of a similar age to ourselves." Kurama told them with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Hey! Wait a minute, they never told us how old these girls are supposed to be! How the hell are we supposed to find anyone if we don't have a clue of what we are looking for!?" Kuwabara exclaimed as if just hitting realization.

"You air-headed idiot! That's what we all have been saying!" Hiei told the tall human with cold anger. "Kurama is right. We at least need to start somewhere." He told the others taking a step into the portal that would lead them all back to the human world. He had no time to waste bickering like this. If any of them wanted to find these females and finish the job, then they had to start. Taking a step away from the portal that seemed to drop them off in some alley, he heard the noises of Yusuke and Kuwabara following his footsteps in coming through the portal. As often as they used the things, one would think that they had received some grace in doing so, but both boys lacked any grace. The last of their company came through like the first demon, in just a simple step, landing upon his feet and sidestepping around the two on the ground.

Standing dusting himself off, Yusuke pushed Kuwabara back down, "So where do we all want to start?"

"I thought it better we separate ourselves, Yusuke. There are three to find, and I doubt they will be easily found in the same place."

"That's right Kurama's got the right answer! C'mon Yusuke, I challenge you to a game at the arcade across the street." Kuwabara piped up, standing next to the slightly shorter male and pointing to a last building in a row on the street across from the one that the alley lead out to.

"You just want your ass kicked again, huh?" Yusuke replied with a shrug, "Alright, I'll appease, and I'll let you go first just this time." As the two boys began making their way onto the street, the darker haired one looked back at the last two of the group, "Should we met back up later? At the China Kitten?"

Hiei nodded in reply before turning around and walking in the opposite direction down the road before them. Kurama also nodded his head, "Yes, Yusuke we will meet you there at 6." Then he too turned down the street to follow the smaller fire apparition.

There was silence as the two walked. The darker haired boy knew somehow that the red-haired boy was deep in thought. Their feet fell in-step with one another as they moved along the streets; one hardly paying any attention, the other searching out every detail that could be found, and a few that could not. It was the dark haired boy that finally broke the silence blocks away, "So, going to share those thoughts fox?"

"I have to think that not all of their features could have changed. Something must still be the same, and I believe it to be their eyes as well as their names. Although the pictures were shown in quick concession, two looked familiar in that feature; ones I have seen before." Kurama indulged to the other man next to him.

"Eh so you think you know them all ready. Well that will make this easier than I thought," Hiei replied with a smirk. "Did you send the other two on a wild goose chase then?"

"No, as I said only two looked familiar and even I could be wrong about their identity, however unlikely." Kurama responded as they continued down the street turning to the park on their right. They bi-passed children playing upon the wet playground and their parent's that were supposed to be watching them that were instead gossiping among themselves. Not bothering themselves with that, the two men entered the forest that was behind the park.

Disturbing the silence once again Hiei opened his mouth to ask a question. He couldn't help but wish the humans were here to do this for him, but he hated being lead down a path so blindly. Although he knew the fox had his reasons, sharing them was nice every once in a while. "So what are we…" his sentence was cut short as he saw a dark haired girl kneeling in what seemed a blanket of ferns and flowers. They were all green and growing, not a normal scene to see in the dead of winter. Were her hands glowing?

Kurama stepped in front of his counter-part that had seemed to stop so suddenly at the scene before them. However it was one that was common to the red-haired man since it reminded him of himself among the garden at his mother's house, or the green house he had built at his own apartment. "Terra." His voice called out to the girl. It wasn't a question, but was said to garner her attention.

Which he was granted when she turned her dark green eyes to the two men behind her. First her eyes widened, before they narrowed at the two. She stood then at that moment, taking her hands away from the plants around her that seemed to shrivel within the next second as the sudden cold breeze hit them. "Didn't we already have our tutoring session for the day, Suichi? What is it that you want now?"

Kurama took another few steps forward before his feet rested in place. Her cold sarcastic tone hitting his ears without fail. "Yes our school session has ended for the week, but I believe we could help you with something further."

"Hmph, help me? You think getting me a date with your friend there is help? I don't need it, thanks though." She scoffed in reply.

"Eh, me date you? Don't be absurd." Came the remark from Hiei as he stepped towards the odd woman.

"No, that is not the intention, Terra. But like you, we have orders from a higher power." Kurama interjected into the small side conversation. "Unless I am mistaken, that is."

Her green eyes gave the two men a queer look, narrowing slightly. They bounced from the familiar red-head to the other darker haired man now standing beside Suichi. "What do you know?"

"You are one not necessarily from this world. Correct me if I'm wrong, Terra, but you are supposed to be searching for others like you. Unless that is you have found them already." Kurama continued talking, his demeanor calm, seeming to barely notice the annoyance coming off of Terra infront of him, or the widening smirk from the demon beside him.

"What do you know?" Terra almost growled at the two males infront of her, reminding her of her failure since arriving in this life. She especially didn't like it to be coming from the over confident perfectionist in front of her.

"Meet us at the China Kitten at 6:15, and we'll talk Terra. We are here to help." Kurama explained hoping at least he had peeked her interest well enough to meet them that night. He still wasn't sure what they were going to tell her or any of the others if they found them. None of them even knew much about what was going on, but perhaps the girls had some answers. That was the first part of the mission, find them.

With his piece said the red-headed mad turned on his heel and began to walk back through the forest passing the same sights he had previously seen. He heard Hiei's growl of frustration as he soon followed suit. A smile graced Kurama's lips at the fire demon's attitude. None of them liked to be without all the information, and he had certainly just left his partner with as little information as he had Terra.
