Weiss who's now in her regular attire, readied her Myrtenaster. Her new teammates cheered her on from the seats they sat in at the front row.
Yang raised fee fist shouting. "Goooo, Weiss!"
Blake was waving a small maroon saying "RWBY" said "Fight Well!"
And Ruby who was the most supportive of all shouted with great passion "You've got this Weiss! I believe in you!!"
Weiss' heart skipped a beat upon hearing this. She turned and shared a smile with Ruby who's face was bright red.
"Alllllright!" Port shouted slashing open the cage that contained the Grimm. "Let the match... Begin!"
A Boarbatusk sped out of the cage. Weiss used her Myrtenaster to deflect the beast's attack and rolled to the side. Weiss got into a battle stance and readied herself for her next move.
"C'mon Weiss" Ruby whispered to herself.
Weiss made her move and charged straight at the Boar. The attack was unsuccessful as the Boarbatusk struck her left wrist and locked her Myrtenaster behind it's tusks. Weiss tried pulling in her direction to get it back. The Boarbatusk responded by pulling away and disarmed the heiress. It the landed a well placed hit on Weiss, knocking her back a few feet.
Ruby quickly stood up in horror and screamed. "Weiss!!"
Weiss looked to see the fear in her love interest's eyes and used this to fuel her.
"Oh-ho! What will you do without your weapon?" Port commented.
The Boarbatusk charged straight at Weiss again. Weiss made a run for her Myrtenaster. Upon recovering her weapon she turned to see that the monster began to rapidly spin. Weiss activated one of her blue/white symbols to block the attack. She then leaped onto the now black symbol and lunged herself straight at the boar and impaled it through the gut while sliding several additional feet. The Boarbatusk began squealing before falling silent.
"Bravo! Bra-vo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true huntress-in training." Port applauded.
Weiss suddenly fell to her knees. Blood began to drip from her thighs and onto the floor. She began to pant heavily as her aura was depleted and couldn't heal herself. She held her right hand over her wound located on her stomach that began to stain her white dress.
"Weiss!!!" Ruby screamed and quickly leaped over her desk to check on her partner.
"W-Weiss... are you ok?" A concerned Ruby asked.
Weiss looked up and into Ruby's beautiful eyes. Her eyes widened a bit.
"Y-yeah... I'll be okay..." she said trying to get up befor stumbling again.
Ruby gasped upon seeing this "Can you please help me to the nurse's office?" Weiss asked.
Without another word Lifted up Weiss and held her in a bridal like fashion. The brunette then used her semblance to waste no time and rush her to the nurse's office.
A nurse walked in and asked. "What happened?"
Ruby spoke for Weiss and said. "She was cut during training."
"Ok... I'm gonna clean up the wound for her. Her aura will do the rest for her." The nurse explained.
"How long will that take?"
"About 3 hours. You can head back to class dear."
"Ok, I'll see you later Weiss." Ruby smiled before grabbing her belongings and walked off to her next class.
*A Few Hours Later*
"Alright Weiss, you're all good to go." The nurse told her.
"Ok, thank you!" Weiss smiled before leaving.
Ruby was the only person on her mind throughout the entire process.
While walking back to her dorm Weiss noticed the sunset and decided to take a seat on one of the benches that faced the sun and watched the sun as it slowly descended. She could feel her heart growing heavier by the very minute.
She was suddenly approached by Professor Ozpin.
"Miss Schnee, what are you doing out here when you could be with your team?" He asked the heiress.
"Oh nothing... it's just... there's something that's been on my mind lately."
"Please speak" He requested in a calm tone.
Weiss took a deep breath before continuing.
"Well there's this person who've I've been having feeling for since I got here and I really want to tell her how I feel. I just don't know how." Weiss explained to the headmaster.
Ozpin took a seat next to her.
"I've faced more problems than anyone else has ever had. When I found someone I felt this way towards I spoke with my heart when I found someone I loved." He continued and did his best to not mention Salem's name.
"So I just have to follow my heart and tell her how I feel?" Weiss asked
"Am I correct to assume you speak of Miss Rose?" Ozpin asked.
"Y-Yes you're correct." Weiss blushed and nodded.
"I wish you the best of luck. Miss Schnee." Ozpin said as he stood up.
Weiss sat there for a minute before standing up and walking back to her dorm with the thoughts in her mind.
She slowly opened the door to her team's dorm. And stuck over to Ruby's bed which was just above her's. Weiss saw all of the work she did and was amazed. Weiss thought to herself: Wow I can't believe she did all of that in just 1 day! She looks so adorable in her sleep. I really hope she doesn't get mad when I wake her up.
Weiss gently shook Ruby until she woke up.
"Weiss! I-I was studying, and then I fell asleep! I'm sorry..."
Weiss smiled at her adorable she was. Adorable was definitely an understatement at this point.
"Ruby, There's something I would like to tell." Weiss
Ruby then hopped off her bunk.
"What is it?" Ruby asked with a smile.
Weiss took a deep breath From your heart. She thought to herself.
"W-well... ever since we first met. I've uh..." she struggled.
"...I've had these strong feelings for you and I just want to know... d-do you feel the same?" Weiss asked with an unbelievably red face.
Ruby gasped as she felt her heart skip a beat, her eyes lit up, her face felt hotter than ever. A great big smile from ear to ear grew on her face. She then gently grabbed Weiss' right hand and held it up to their chest level.
"Weiss... I've had these feelings for you. I've never felt this way towards anyone else... ever! I always feel so warm around you." Ruby revealed.
Weiss then put her hand on Ruby's hot red cheek. The 2 then leaned in and kissed.
"You're just so adorable Ruby."
"So... does this mean-"
"-Yes I'd love to your girlfriend!" Weiss quickly cut her off and answered her.
The 2 then hugged each other tightly. Weiss pulled her onto her bed and fell asleep in each others arms not daring to even loosen their grip on each other as if they would die if they did.
*THE NEXT MORNING.*
Weiss awoke to see the adorable face of her new girlfriend who's smiling ear to ear with a light blush over her cheeks.
"Good morning sleepyhead!" She teased. Weiss simply sighed but gave her a small smile. She got up and walked into their bathroom and went through her morning routine.
Once she walked out of shower she looked at Ruby who nodded. Yang and Blake were already awake and waiting on Weiss.
"Yang, Blake there's something we need to tell you." Ruby started grabbing the attention of both girls.
"Okay, We're listening." Blake says.
Weiss took a deep breath. "So... Last night I expressed my feeling towards your sister, Yang."
"...aaaaand?" Yang said hiding a smile already knowing the final result.
"It's official!!! Weiss and me are dating!!!" Ruby beamed jumping happily. Weiss pinched the bridge of her nose. "It's Weiss and I You dolt!"
"Hehe, but I'm your "Dolt" now." Ruby giggled rubbing weiss's right arms.
"You sure are." She then kissed her on the lips. Yang quickly gave them both a tight bear hug. "Oh I'm so proud of my baby sister!!!"
"Cut it out!" They both yelled, gasping for air and flailing their arms before they got into a playful fight.
Blake couldn't help but smile at how this all went down.
(Yes, I know this isn't quite how relationships work in the real world but what people to refer to as "Love at first sight" is actually the way my parents met and are still together to this day. Also, I feel that this was the best opportunity to bring them together. As time goes on I plan to add in additional WhiteRose scenes.
