I've named Megan's mom, Sophie, as I thought it would be easier instead of saying her mom. Please review and let me know what you think x
Chapter 10
5 minutes after Megan had ran away from the hospital, her mom turned up. She ran towards the entrance and noticed Sam.
"Have you seen Megan?" She asked
"No, why? What's hapPened?"
"I went to check on her this morning and she wasn't in her room. We checked the house and she wasn't there. She's ran away" her mom, Sophie, explained.
"Did she say anything when she got back from the hospital?" Sam asked.
"No, why? Was she meant to tell me something?"
"Yes but I promised her that I wouldn't."
"Please I need to know what's wrong with my little girl" Sophie said.
"Have you noticed how she gets stressed when she revises because of her exams?"
"A little but what has this got to do with Megan?" Sophie asked.
"Well, she's been cutting so she could release some of the stress"
"No she wouldn't. She's not like that. Megan would tell someone"
"But that's the thing, she won't tell anyone. We only found out because her arm was pouring with blood" Sam explained.
"She should have told us. We could of helped." Sophie said, whilst tears fell down her face.
"It's okay, she'll talk to you in her own time but for now we need to find her." Sam reassured her.
"You'll help?"
"Yeah of course."
With that they both went separate ways to find Megan. Sam had told Dixie to tell Zoe that she had to go before she left.
After 30 minutes neither Sam or Sophie could find Megan. Sam thought that she would check the parks and then she noticed a bridge over a river with someone standing there. It was Megan.
Sam called Sophie to tell her where she was and that she might need to call and ambulance just incase.
As she approached the young girl, Sam noticed that she was sat on the wall facing the river below.
"Megan" Sam shouted. Trying to get her attention.
"Look you need to think about this" Sam said as she got closer as it looked like she was about to throw herself into the river.
"No. I've thought to much and I can't take it." Megan said as she stood up of the wall.
"You need to talk to someone. Your parents are worried. I know you haven't told them" Sam said. "Maybe it you talk to them things will better."
"What's the point?"
"It will stop you feeling like this"
After a minute, Megan decided that maybe she should tell her parents. However just as she was about to get down, she slipped. Falling into the river.
"Megan!" She shouted as she ran down the stairs to the river bank.
Who did see her? What do you think will happen? Will Sam be able to save her?
