Chapter 10: Figuring It Out
"How," Kiyoshi asked confused, "How can something like this happen?" "Look," Miki replied, "I don't know what's going on, but we should leave this house." Kiyoshi became frustrated. "We're not leaving this house, we just moved here and I'm not wasting anymore money on another establishment anytime soon. Look, I understand we're all seeing things since we came, but we just got to admit that this all part of our imagination or someone is tricking us in order to get us to believe."
"Oh, is that so? Well do you care to explain on how keep getting up early in morning, the apparition, or other such odd occurrences in this house."
"Look, I know about these odd occurrences, but I still don't know what is going on. It's like we're all going crazy or it's like a 'curse' has been placed on this property."
"Wait a minute! A curse… The family that lived here before."
"What family?"
"Don't you remember when the realtor told us that story about the family that was killed here. It seems like their souls are trapped here or this apparition haunted them as well."
"Hmmm… that could be an interesting point. What if someone or something has left something evil in this house, but we don't know what."
"What do you think we should do? The priest tried to bless this house and we all know what happened there."
"Well, figure out what this thing is what I would do. If we can try to find a way to purify this house, this haunting will be destroyed forever."
"We might as well think of something."
Suddenly, a candle flew of the kitchen table and hit the wall. Miki quickly ran from the room while Kiyoshi went to pick up the candle. However, as he put the candle back where it was. He looked up in the window to find red writing on it. "DON'T YOU DARE," it said.
