Hands around Waist

Harry's point of view

I stared at her for some time. My head spinning with questions. What had happened to make her scream?

"Let me guess," Ginny said out of the blue. "You want to know what made me scream?"

"How did you know?" I asked.

"I could see it in your eyes." She responded not looking me in the eye.

"So," I said. "What made you scream?"

"I had a nightmare."

The way she said it made it sound like it was no big deal. But one look in her eyes told a different story. I got out of my chair and decided that I should comfort her. As I walked over to her she looked surprised. She looked like she might have fainted when I put my arms around her.

Ginny's point of view

Harry was touching me! He was actually touching me!

Harry's point of view

As my arms went around her waist I noticed how soft and smooth she was. Then I remembered that she was Ron's sister. I unwound my arms from around her waist and placed my chair next to hers. I thought about putting hand on hers but decided that I better not.

"So tell me about the dream," I said with my voice full of interest.

"You really want to know?" she asked with uncertainty in her voice. I nodded with my mouth going into a comforting smile.

"Ok, here goes nothing." And she launched into her dream. She told me about how she was taking to the chamber of secrets again. She told me about Voldemort telling her that he was going to kill me. She told me about how she had screamed. Then told me about how she had woken and saw how peacefully Lily and Hermione had slept and how badly she could sleep like that.

"I'm so sorry Ginny," I said as I look in her eyes. "I've been having nightmares too." Then without thinking I leaned in and kissed her cheek. Once I thought about what I did I decided it was best if I got away as fast as I could.

"Goodnight Ginny," I said and walked out of the kitchen.
