It's been a few days since someone mysteriously threw a brick through the window of Dale Head. Jackson was feeling useless, as he watches the builder putting the new glass in. He could of done that no bother! But being stuff in this chair is taking its toll! He did start to get some feeling back, he could move his toes and was starting to feel sensation in his legs, but he was still a work in progress. He was also aching to be with Aaron, properly. They haven't been intimate in three years! And now that the lads are back together, he is dying to get the mechanic back in his head. But how long will that be? The builder sighs. Aaron comes down the stairs, ranting on about how he's going to kill the prat that did this. The brown eyed builder suggested that it could be Aaron's ex, Ed. But Aaron knew he wouldn't be that stupid. Would he?
Aaron gets off the bus in emmerdale, after taking his son to school. He's about to head to the garage, when he sees Ed coming out of David's shop. Anger now on his face. "Oi! A want a word with you!" Aaron snaps
"What now?"
"I know it was you!" The blue eyed man says through gritted teeth
"What are you on about?" Ed rolls his eyes/
"What are you even still doing here? Nobody wants you here!"
Ed doesn't respond and starts walking away from his ex, he then stops and turns round. "Aaron?" The mechanic turns out. "I'm glad no one got hurt, maybe next time, they wont be so lucky" Ed smirks.
Aaron burst into his home. Shouting and raging. "It was him!"
"Who?" Jackson asks confused.
"Ed! He put the brick through the window!"
"What? He admitted it?"
"Not in so many words, no! I'm going to kill him!" Aaron threats.
"Not this again!" Jackson moans. "Aaron, can we do this properly and call the police?"
"With what?" The blue eyed man snaps "They don't have any evidence to prove that it's him!"
"Well, there's nothing we can do then, is there!"
Aaron doesn't respond. He just stands there, with a look on his face, the look that Jackson knows way too well. "Aaron! Please promise me you're not going to do anything stupid? Aaron doesn't say anything. "AARON?" Jackson shouts
"What?" The mechanic shouts back.
"Promise me?"
"I promise ya!"
But was he telling the truth? Or will he break his promise to his boyfriend?
Aaron's shift comes to an end, he quickly goes come to change then heads into Hotton to pick AJ from school. Instead of getting the bus, he takes Paddy's car. Aaron parks the car outside the school and waits for his son to come out. Aaron looks at the time on the car radio and realises that AJ should have been out by now. The mechanic gets out of the car and heads into the school. As he goes into AJ's classroom, panic now on his face as the room is empty.
"Where's AJ?" he says to the teacher.
"His uncle came to pick him up early, he said you were going to be held up at work" The teacher now confused.
"His uncle? What uncle?"
The teacher goes to her desk and opens up the time sheet. She gives it a glance until she gets to AJ's name. "His uncle Ed"
Rage and panic now showing on the hot headed lad. "He ain't got an uncle Ed!" Aaron shouts. His temper bursting out. Before The teacher could respond. Aaron was gone. He rushed to the car and drove straight to Emmerdale. Surely, Ed wouldn't take him anywhere else other than the village?
Aaron bursts into the Woolie and shouts for his mum. Chas enters the bar, soon as she sees her son, she knows something is wrong.
"Have you seen Ed?" Aaron shouts
"Ed? No why?"
"He's got AJ!" Aaron's voice breaks. Trying to hold back the tears.
Chas' face is in horror, she asks Diane to cover her shift and runs out of the pub with her son. "Where is Jackson?" his mum asks.
"He doesn't know!"
"Aaron! You need to tell him!" Chas shouts.
Aaron tells his mum to go find Cain and the rest of the Dingles, while he goes and breaks the news to Jackson.
Jackson is sitting in his wheelchair, With rage in his brown eyes. "Have you called the police?"
"Cain is sorting it!"
"For god sake! Aaron, phone the bloody police!" Jackson screams. Aaron has never seen him this angry before. Aaron picks up the phone and dials 999. Will they ever seen their son again? And why would Ed take him like that?
