Chapter 10: More errands
-2nd of the Second Seed, 4th Era 202-
Lydia and I arrived at the ice fields, which was massive to be honest. The ice was thick and you could walk on it, but not everything was frozen. I looked behind me, seeing Lydia shivering from the cold. She's a Nord. Aren't Nords supposed to be resistant to cold? The cold never bothered me, except frost magic, and I'm only half Nord. Is it because of my Dragon blood that I'm more resistant to cold? I have no idea. After a bit of traveling, the wind began to spike up. It was getting harder and harder to see too, because the wind carried the snow from the land towards us. I looked behind me, spotting Lydia. She was shivering.
"Lydia, are you alright?" I asked her. She nodded.
"It's cold, but I can make it." I frowned. I decided to use a flame cloak spell on her. She looked alarmed when I shot a ball of fire at her, but when she saw a cloak forming around her and feeling the warmth, she relaxed.
"Wow, thanks Saviik." I nodded.
"No problem. Now, we need to find Septimus, wherever he is in this landscape. After a bit of travelling, we realized that there was no ice in front of us anymore.
"We don't have to swim right?" Lydia asked, shivering some more from the idea. I laughed.
"Watch this. IIZ SLEN NUS!" With the powerful shout, I was able to freeze quite a lot of water. I calmly walked over the new ice with Lydia following.
"It still amazes me how easily you can Shout." She said. I smirked.
"Yeah…" Was my only reply. After hours of wandering around, we finally found a wooden door in a small iceberg.
"Does someone live here?" Lydia asked. I shrugged.
"I think so. It's probably that Septimus guy, because only an insane man would want to live here." I pushed the door open and we crawled inside. We arrived in a cave system with a very big room at the end. We descended down the path and we saw an Alchemy table, a closet and a chair. There was an old man in Mage robes looking at large cube like building, made from Dwemer metal. I walked towards him.
"Dig, Dwemer in the beyond. I'll know your lost unknown and rise to your depths." Uh, does he even realize someone just walked towards him, while he is on one of the most remote places of Tamriel? I began to speak.
"Hey, I heard you know about Elder Scrolls." The man nodded.
"Elder Scrolls. Indeed. The Empire, they absconded with them. Or so they think. The ones they saw, the ones they saw haha! The ones they thought they saw!" There is really something wrong with him. I looked at Lydia, who shrugged. The man continued.
"I know of one. Forgotten, sequestered. But I cannot go to it. Oh, not poor Septimus. For I… I have arisen beyond its grasp." So, where is the Scroll?
"Where is the Scroll?" The man gave me a funny look.
"Here. Well, here as in this plane, Mundus, Tamriel. Nearby, relatively speaking hahahaha." No shit?! What the fuck is wrong with him?!
"On a cosmological scale, it's all nearby." I growled.
"Look old man, I think you're insane and you can mock me right now, but I need the exact location of the Scroll. Now tell me where it is." I demanded. I will not stand here waiting until he finally tells me where it is. Demented old fool.
"Oh, a brutish one. Septimus has no fear for you ha! But as one block raises another, perhaps ourselves could help us each." Seriously? Well, I'll just ask him what he wants.
"What do you want?" I noticed that Lydia was also visibly getting agitated. The man pointed at the cube.
"You see this masterwork of the Dwemer? Deep inside their greatest knowings. Septimus is clever among men, but he is mere an idiotic child compared to the dullest of the Dwemer." You are indeed an idiot, but maybe you're indeed clever because you know a lot about Elder Scrolls. However, I disagree with how great you see the Dwemer. Only because they pursued science, doesn't mean that they were smarter than other races. They were just more advanced, with a lust for power. What am I doing? Debating in my own head. I heard the man continue.
"Lucky then they left behind their own way of reading the Elder Scrolls. In the depths of Blackreach, one yet lies. Have you heard of Blackreach? 'Cast upon where the Dwemer cities slept, the yearning spire hidden learnings kept' hahaha!" I rolled my eyes. What is Blackreach anyway?
"Where is this Blackreach you're speaking of?" I asked.
"Under deep, below the dark. The hidden keep. Tower Mzark. Alftand, the point of puncture, of first entry, of the tapping. Delve to its limits, and Blackreach lies just beyond." He's speaking in riddles and I have no idea what he means.
"But not all can enter there. Only Septimus knows the hidden key to loose the lock to jump beneath the deadly rock." Wow, am I glad about that! What an ass.
"How do I get in?" I asked as politely as possible.
"Two things I have for you. One edged, one round. The round one, for tuning. Dwemer music is soft and subtle, and needed to open their cleverest gates. The edged lexicon, for inscribing. To us, a hunk of metal. To the Dwemer, a full library of knowings. But… empty. Find Mzark and its sky-dome. The machinations there will read the Scroll and lay the lore upon the cube. Trust Septimus. He knows you can know." I have trust issues with him. I better ask mom for a better explanation. He gave me the sphere and the lexicon and I nodded.
"The Scroll is mine, but I will give you the lexicon containing the information." I stated firmly. Septimus nodded. And why does he need the information anyway?
"Why do you need the information on the Elder Scroll anyway?" I asked afterwards.
"Ooohhh, an observant one. How clever to ask of Septimus. This Dwemer lockbox, look upon it and wonder. Inside is the heart. The heart of a god! The heart of you, and me. But it was hidden away. Not by the Dwarves, you see. They were already gone. Someone else. Unseen, unknown. Found the heart, and with the flair for the ironical, used Dwarven trickery to lock it away. The Scroll will give the deep needed vision to open it. For not even the strongest machinations of the Dwemer can hold off the all-sight given by an Elder Scroll." Wait a minute, how does he know that the Heart of Lorkhan is in it? I looked at Lydia, who had a perplexed look on her face. I looked back at the old man.
"How do you know so certainly that the Heart of Lorkhan is in the box?" The man looked wide eyed at me.
"My lord told me. I have devoted my life to the Elder Scrolls, but their knowledge is a passing awareness when compared to the encompassing mind of divinity. The Dwemer were the last to touch it. I thought it was destroyed by the Nerevarine, but my lord told me otherwise." Who's his lord?
"Who's your lord?" I hope not a Daedric Prince, but I have a feeling that I'm very wrong.
"The Daedric Prince of the unknown. Hermaeus Mora. I thought there were no secrets left to know. Until I first spoke to him. He asks a price, to work his will. A few murders, some dissent spread, a plague or two. For the secrets I can endure. In time, he brought me here. To the box. But he won't reveal how to open it. Maddening." Tch, I can't blame him for acting like this. I helped some Daedric Princes too, to get stronger. I saw him walking towards his alchemy table, mixing some potions, so I decided to walk away. Lydia was already walking in front of me. Just when I was about to go through the cave, a barrier appeared in front of me, blocking my path further. I saw Lydia continuing on, not realizing I was stuck. I was about to call her when suddenly green tentacles and a very big and ugly eye appeared.
"Come closer, bask in my presence." The tentacle thing said calmly in a masculine voice. His voice sounds weird. Who is he? Hermaeus Mora?
"Hermaeus Mora I presume?" I asked with a hint of hostility in my voice.
"Very perceptive you are. I am indeed Hermaeus Mora. I am the guardian of the unseen, and knower of the unknown. I have been watching you, mortal. Most impressive." Yeah yeah, every fucking Daedric Prince in Oblivion has been 'watching me'.
"Just like every other Daedric Prince I come across. You've all been watching me don't you?" I growled. I heard chuckling.
"All of the Daedric Princes know of you. Your actions in Tamriel have not gone… unnoticed. Some of them have a very keen hatred for you." I already knew that.
"Let me guess, Molag Bal and Mehrunes Dagon?" Again, I heard chuckling. However, he didn't answer my question. He just continued.
"Others however, are very fond of you." What does he want of me?
"And where do you stand?" I asked.
"I'm curious about you. One of the mortals I find worth talking to." He definitely wants something of me.
"What do you want of me?" I asked.
"Your continuing aid to Septimus renders him increasingly obsolete. He has served me well, but his time is nearing its end. Once that infernal lockbox is opened, he will have exhausted his usefulness to me. When that time comes, you shall take his place as my emissary. What say you?" Fool, does he really expect me to serve him?
"Just like the rest of you, I will not serve you. Go find someone else you can indoctrinate with your 'knowledge'." Hermaeus Mora's eye closed, before opening again.
"An expected answer from you. Most Princes got a similar one. But know this, without my knowledge, you will never be able to defeat Alduin." I will show him.
"I don't need your knowledge to defeat her. I do not need your help. Now go away, vile demon!" I yelled.
"Be warned. Many have thought as you do. I have broken them all. You shall not evade me forever." Finally he disappeared, but his words still lingered through his mind. It was just a threat, just like with the rest of the Princes, but I still had a weird feeling. Would his knowledge help me? Could he have the knowledge about certain things even the Elder Scrolls don't have? I just shook my head and walked outside.
….
-3rd of the Second Seed, 4th Era 202-
I arrived back at the College of Winterhold and I immediately searched for my mom. I decided to go towards the Hall of Countenance and when I arrived here, I smelled baked meat. My stomach immediately growled and Lydia, who was behind me, laughed.
"Someone is hungry!" She laughed. Just then I saw my mother poking her head around a room.
"Sweetie! I've just made dinner!" She literally pushed me on the bench in front of the table. I looked in the corner, seeing a very big Daedroth using its jaws to crush a cow leg. In another corner, I saw my mom's spider piercing her fangs in her victim, a dead deer. I shivered. Lydia and my mom began to sit next to me.
"Don't worry Saviik. They won't hurt you." My mom said, talking about the spider and the Daedroth.
"Yeah, but it still is weird to be in the presence of them." I admitted. I happily bit down a chunk of meat from a chicken leg, while my mother smiled warmly at me.
"You eat just like your father. When it's good and you don't have to be polite, you eat like a predator, crushing its victim." I swallowed the meat and laughed. She then asked me a question.
"And, have you found Septimus?" I nodded.
"Yes, he's a weird madman who serves the Daedric Prince Hermaeus Mora. He told me that I have to go to a place called Alftand, and that the Scroll is in the tower Mzark in a place called Blackreach. He also gave me this." I showed her the sphere and the lexicon. My mom examined it.
"An attunement sphere and a blank lexicon…" She muttered. She then looked at me.
"Alftand is a Dwemer ruin. I'll mark it for you on your map. Blackreach was once a massive Dwemer city that connected other Dwemer cities with each other. Septimus gave you the sphere to open the way towards Blackreach. It is a sphere that creates music to open Dwemer doors. The lexicon is a device that can get information from an Elder Scroll, so someone can safely extract the knowledge." I nodded.
"Thanks for the info mom." I gave her a kiss on the cheek, and she smiled. Suddenly she looked at me.
"Wait a minute, did you say that Septimus serves the Prince of knowledge?" I nodded.
"He wanted me to serve him, and in return he would give me knowledge that would help me in defeating Alduin." My mom began to think.
"Hermaeus Mora is a very tricky one. You should be careful." I nodded.
"I will." Suddenly I saw an eager smile forming on her lips.
"I gave you information, now I want some from you." I chuckled.
"And that is?" I asked.
"Tell me what you know about the Thu'um, and how you use it. And what about having a Dragon soul? What happens when you kill a Dragon?" Just then we heard a loud roar and suddenly the door was pushed open. A courier ran towards me and he looked very afraid and tired.
"Help… Dragon! He said between gasps. What is a courier doing here? Well, first we need to stop the Dragon.
"Well mom, this is your lucky day. You can see what happens when I absorb a Dragon soul." I said. I looked at Lydia, who was already standing. I ran outside, with my mom and Lydia following. I saw the Dragon flying above me. When it noticed me, it began to speak in a masculine voice.
"Dovahkiin!" He roared, before diving towards me. He opened his mouth.
"YOL TOOR SHUL!" I replied with my own Shout.
"FO KRAH DIIN!" Fire and ice connected with each other, but mine was only a barrage, while he was really breathing fire. A whirlpool of mist and water appeared between us and I rolled to the side, avoiding the falling water. The Dragon flew back up and I readied some icy spear spells.
"Lydia, shoot arrows at him!" Lydia nodded and readied her bow. I saw my mom conjuring Storm Atronachs and releasing Thunderbolt spells at the Dragon, who grunted in pain from impact.
"Foolish joor! My fight is with the Dovahkiin, not with you!" He looked at my mom, readying another Shout.
"KRII LUN AUS!" I looked at my mom, who didn't realize the effect of the Shout.
"MOM DODGE!" I yelled at her, but she stood firm. Suddenly she created a weird mirror like spell and when the Marked for Death Shout connected, she gave a grunt. With a yell, she blasted the Shout back at the Dragon, who easily dodged it.
"Damn, that is some powerful magic…" My mom muttered, while gasping. I looked at the Dragon, who dived towards me again.
"FUS RO DAH!" The Dragon staggered and quickly tried to ascend again. I didn't let him.
"WULD NAH KEST!" I jumped in the air, and with a sudden rush of speed, I sliced the Ebony Blade through his wing. The Dragon roared in pain, while falling towards the ground, just outside the College grounds. Just when we both were about to hit the ground, I acted.
"FEIM!" I safely landed, while the Dragon moved through the dirt, almost against the inn in Winterhold. With a grunt, the Dragon got back up and faced me again.
"You will pay dearly! I will present Thuri with your head! YOL NIIV KAAG!" I quickly rolled to the side, dodging the fireball. However, the Dragon quickly acted again.
"FUS RO DAH!" I was blasted in the air, and I saw the Dragon advancing towards me. His jaws opened, ready to bite with full force. I made a backward somersault and I heard his jaws snapping just out of reach. Then I slashed my blade against his face. The Dragon flew under me and I quickly used my blade to pierce him. The Dragon desperately tried to shake me off, but with a powerful trust to his head, he went limp. The Dragon fell down, back towards the College grounds. With a loud crash, the Dragon and I hit the ground. I stood on top of his head, yanking the Ebony Blade out of his skull. I saw my mom, Lydia, the courier, the teachers and students and the Arch-Mage staring at me.
"That's how you kill a Dragon." I muttered. I looked around me, seeing a lot of impressed looks. However, the Arch-Mage and the Thalmor advisor Ancano looked angry. Fuck them. I saw my mom rushing towards me, but she stopped when the blue, red and orange energy enveloped me. I smiled.
"Mom, this energy feels amazing…" I said. When the energy died down and there was only a skeleton of the Dragon, the people had awestruck looks on their faces. My mom walked towards me and embraced me.
"I was worried when you followed the Dragon! But I'm so proud of you." I smiled while hugging her back. Just then Lydia and the courier walked towards me.
"Wow, I never expected to witness a fight between you and a Dragon with my own eyes. Here, a letter I needed to bring to you. Looks like that's it. Got to go." He gave a salute before leaving. I read the letter out loud.
"Saviik, I'm sorry for giving you all this trouble with Skjor, but I need your help right now. Please come whenever you have time.
Kodlak Whitemane." I frowned.
"Problems with Skjor?" My mom asked.
"I will explain sometime. What do I have to do? I need the Elder Scroll, but I also want to help Kodlak. And I need to know what that weird orb in the Hall of Elements is." Yeah, I saw it when I was looking for my mom.
"Saviik, only look for the Elder Scroll when you feel ready for it." I nodded.
"Your dad should arrive in in a few days. He's travelling by horse, so it won't take really long I think." Again, I nodded. I also want to train my Thu'um with Paarthurnax, so I need to think about what I'm going to do. So many things to do, and not a lot of time...
….
-5th of the Second Seed, 4th Era 202-
I've been wondering for a while now. Is it really true what Paarthurnax said? Alduin and I, two sides of the same coin? Our destinies intertwined? This is just so weird. I can hardly imagine Alduin to be a lonely cute little Dragon. She looks so fierce and prideful. Her shining black scales, her golden yellow eyes that turn red when she's going to fight, her powerful, yet slim body. She's sexy… Did I really just think that? I don't know why, but for some reason I find female Dragons attractive. Is it my Dragon blood that makes me like this, because I have seen some very sexy non-Dragon females. Well, I was never good with feelings anyway. I get shy and uneasy whenever someone flirts with me. I remember that time when Camilla Valerius tried to flirt with me. I got really shy and tried to get away. That was half a year ago, I think. Maybe even longer. Time sure flies. What are all these people I met doing right now anyway? Gwilin, the Bosmer villager who told me about being content in your life, is maybe doing his usual stuff. And what about Karliah? That thief in Snow Veil Sanctum. Is she still there? Or is she doing other things? It sounds harsh, being a Nightingale of Nocturnal. And how can I forget about Sheogorath and Sanguine… I wonder how it is to be a Daedric Prince. Think about it, Saviik Dragonfist, Daedric Prince of thinking stupid things. I suddenly heard Lydia's voice.
"Why the heck are you grinning like an idiot?" She asked. I laughed.
"I was just thinking about certain things." I replied. I do miss those two Princes. It's like they are long lost friends I met in another life or something. Anyway, what does Lydia want?
"What is it?" I asked her.
"Your dad just arrived with the books." I nodded and followed her towards the Hall of Elements. You know, I haven't seen Rachna in quite a while now. I'm really wary of that spider. She can be anywhere. She's probably sleeping or something, I don't know. When we finally arrived at the Hall of Elements, I was immediately greeted by two happy Clannfear. I gave them both a hug, before turning to my dad and Kaizen. I didn't see my mom however.
"And, how was your trip?" I asked them.
"We had to kill a bunch of Mages, and then a woman named 'The Caller'. She honestly thought she could kill us in three seconds. We also saved a guy named Orthorn, but he didn't want to come with us." Orthorn, the one who stole the books in the first place… he fears the reactions he gets when he returns… He should be.
"Here Saviik, the books." My dad gave me three books and I gave them a look.
"Thanks for getting them dad. And you too Kaizen." I heard two small whines and I laughed.
"And of course you too!" I gave my Clannfear a hug again, making them grumble in contentment.
"No problem son. Now," My dad turned to Kaizen. "Let's finish that spar, shall we?" I saw Kaizen smirking and both walked away, towards one of the towers. They have been sparring during my trip towards Saarthal? I honestly have no idea. I began to read the books and when I was done, I walked towards the Artaeum. There wasn't a lot of relevant info, but the book 'Night of Tears' told about something the Elves and Nords were fighting over. I noticed that Urag was sleeping, so I just placed the books on his desk. Mmm, I wonder… Maybe I could ask Tolfdir about the book. Maybe he has already researched the orb. I decided to walk towards the Hall of the Elements. I noticed Tolfdir giving the orb a look of wonder. I approached him.
"Hello Tolfdir, have you been researching the orb?" I asked. And how did they get it here anyway? When I touched it, I felt really weak. Maybe a telekinesis spell?
"Hello to you too, Saviik. Yes, I've been researching this orb and I must say that this thing is extremely remarkable." I smiled.
"Well, my dad has recovered a book that might help in our research. Have you heard of the book 'Night of Tears'?" I asked. Tolfdir grew wide eyed, making me notice that he has two different colored irises. There's a name for that, but I actually do not have an idea what it is. I'm not a doctor who works in a hospital, so I do not need to know. Do they even have professional doctors in Skyrim?
"Night of Tears? Isn't that the one about something buried beneath Saarthal? Something that Men and Mer fought over?" I nodded.
"I'll have to make a point of re-reading it. I don't recall the details." He looked at the orb again.
"I just can't seem to tear myself away. Whatever this is, its beauty is nothing like I've ever seen before. If you'd allow me to indulge myself for a moment, I thought I might make a few observations." I nodded.
"Sure, go ahead. I would love to hear it." I saw Tolfdir grinning like a happy child. I gave him an amused look. We began to walk around the orb slowly, while he began to speak.
"I'm sure you've already noticed the markings. They're quite unlike anything I've ever seen before." I gave the orb a closer look, looking at the turquoise lines, characters and the black outline. The orb was calmly floating in the middle of the Hall, on one of the Magicka ponds.
"Ayleid, Dwemer, Daedric… Not even Falmer. None of them are a match. Quite curious indeed. Now I'm not sure if you're quite as attuned as I am, given my extensive years of experience. But then again, you are the son of Ana, and you have the gift of Akatosh bestowed upon you, so you might be just as attuned as I am. But can you feel that? This marvelous object. It practically radiates Magicka, and yet it's unlike anything I've ever felt before. I can't even control the Magicka." He looked at me.
"What are your observations?" He asked kindly, but with a very eager and excited hint in his voice. Tolfdir is a really kind and trustworthy man. I would trust him with my life. I spoke.
"When I touched the orb, I felt extreme fatigue washing over me. I don't know what happened, but you noticed me falling to the ground." Tolfdir nodded. I continued.
"This thing is definitely not Daedric," While showing my Daedric Artifacts to him, especially the Wabbajack. I love that thing. "and I don't think the Dwemer would be able to make something like this. I don't think it's from Ayleid origins either, because the Ayleids were mostly busy in Cyrodiil, and I don't recall them doing something in Saarthal. Falmer do not create something like this either, because the only thing they've done when I found them was mumbling in their incomprehensible language, while shooting poisoned arrows at me." I never visited a Dwemer Ruin, but I've seen some Falmer attacking some Bandits.
"Then again, Falmer were first sentient like us, until something strange happened to them. The Snow Elves really changed…" Tolfdir nodded.
"That was very strange indeed, and we have no facts about it either. Only tales." He said. I nodded.
"Anyway, my best bet is that it's from Aedric origin, seeing the markings and powerful Magicka radiation that can't be controlled by us, unlike normal blue Magicka. Does that make any sense to you?" I looked around, seeing Tolfdir nodding in agreement.
"Now that you've mentioned it, I do see quite a resemblance to what I've heard about people who've read an Elder Scroll. They got a vision, while seeing a lot of turquoise light. This is really remarkable. Arch-Mage Savos Aren is already hard at work with your mother, and hopefully they'll have more information soon." Suddenly we heard Ancano's voice interrupting us. He glared fiercely at me, until he turned his head towards Tolfdir.
"I'm afraid I must intrude. It is urgent that I speak with your associate immediately." Tolfdir gave him an angry look.
"This is most inappropriate! We are involved in serious research here!" Ancano spoke again in his cold voice.
"Yes, I've no doubt of it gravity. This, however, is a matter that cannot wait." Tolfdir replied again, angrier than before.
"Well, I'm quite sure I've never been interrupted like this before… The audacity!" I placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Calm down sir." I said. Tolfdir gave a deep sigh.
"I suppose we'll continue this at some later time, when we can avoid interruptions." I nodded. Tolfdir then walked away. Ancano turned towards me, giving me a disgusting look.
"I need you to come with me immediately. Let's go." I stood firm.
"Why? So you can ambush me with some Thalmor soldiers helping you?" I may be paranoid, but I don't want to risk anything. Ancano growled.
"I would rather arrest you myself than plotting an ambush." He stated rather politely, but with a hint of aggression in his voice.
"Then I don't understand what's going on." I stated firmly. He growled.
"Really now? Well, allow me to clarify the situation. I'd like to know why there's someone claiming to be from the Psijic Order here in the College. More importantly, I'd like to know why he's asking for you specifically." The Psijic Order? He noticed my surprised, but knowing look.
"You know him don't you? Tell me what you know." He demanded.
"No." I replied. He raised his arms.
"Don't make me force you…" Suddenly I heard a loud roar. Lily jumped in front of me, making Ancano back away. Lily growled fiercely.
"Lily, calm down." I said, while petting her. I saw Razor and Lydia arriving. I quickly shushed them quiet before Razor could growl and Lydia could speak.
"Ancano, bring me towards him." Ancano casted me a dirty look, while following my order. You stupid Thalmor. We walked towards the Arch-Mage's quarters, while Lydia and my pets followed me. When we arrived, I saw my mom, Savos Aren and the Psijic Monk I saw in Saarthal looking at each other. When I arrived, all three looked at me. Savos gave me a dirty look, my mom walked towards me and as always, treated me like a child by giving me a big hug, and the Monk gave me a smile. Suddenly the same thing that happened in Saarthal happened here too. Time just stopped. Only I, my mom and the Monk could still move. My mom began to speak in a language unknown to me, while the Psijic replied in the same language. I just stared at them, dumbfounded. My mom looked at me.
"Saviik, this is Quaranir. He's a friend of mine from the Psijic Order." I gave my mom a look.
"What language did you speak?" I asked. She smiled.
"Old Aldmeric. Aldmeric with a D…" She smirked. I shook my head.
"How the heck do you know that language!" She and Quaranir laughed.
"That's the language we speak in Artaeum." Quaranir replied. There's so much I still don't know about my mom. I heard her speak.
"Quaranir wants to tell you something important. Listen carefully." I nodded.
"I'd given us a chance to speak privately, but I'm afraid I can't do this for long. We must be brief. The situation here at your College is of dire importance, and attempts to contact you as we have previously have failed. I believe it's due to the very source of our concern. This object… The Eye of Magnus as your people have taken to calling it. The energy coming from it has prevented us from reaching you with the visions you have already seen. The longer it remains here, the more dangerous the situation becomes. And so I have come here personally to tell you it must be dealt with." I frowned.
"If the thing is so dangerous, then why don't you do something about it?" I glanced at my mom, who shook her head.
"It's not that simple honey. They have their reasons for not interfering directly. That's how the Psijic Order normally works. I think you've already crossed your boundaries right?" My mom asked. Quaranir nodded.
"Indeed, and my arrival has caused suspicion, especially in Ancano, the Thalmor advisor." I looked at Ancano, who was still motionless.
"Nevertheless, my Order will not act directly. You must take it upon yourself to deal with this." I sighed. Well, maybe this is a foretaste of the power Alduin has.
"As you may have learned. The Eye… is immensely powerful. This world is not ready for it. If it remains here, it will be misused. Indeed, many in the Order think it has already… Rather, something will happen soon, something that cannot be avoided." This is all so strange and vague. I looked at my mom, before turning back to Quaranir.
"I'll help, but I don't know what to do." I said.
"Neither do we honey. This is as obscured to you as it is to us." She looked at Quaranir, who nodded in agreement.
"Unfortunately, she's right. The overwhelming power of the Eye makes it difficult for us to see, as is your battle with Alduin. Our contact with the outside world was interrupted when Alduin attacked the Thalmor Embassy with her Thu'um, and that was only a small bit of her full power." I already knew that, thanks for telling me! I feel great hearing that!
"I will offer you this. Seek the Augur of Dunlain here in the College. His perception may be more coherent than ours." Augur of Dunlain?
"Who's the Augur of Dunlain? I asked. My mom answered.
"He was once a student here in the College. A brilliant student, but there was an accident…" She stopped talking, but she continued again. "I don't know where he is in the College. Maybe Tolfdir knows." I nodded.
"You have the power to stop this. Do not forget that." Quaranir said.
"I will do my best." Quaranir then nodded and everything turned back to normal. I heard Savos Speak.
"I'm sorry, were you about to say something?" He asked. Quaranir shook his head. Ancano then spoke.
"Now, what's the meaning of this?" Quaranir shook his head again.
"I'm sorry. I'm afraid I don't understand." Ancano gave him an angry look.
"Don't play coy. You asked to see a specific member of the College. Here he is. Now, what is it that you want?" Quaranir answered, while giving a confused look.
"There's been a misunderstanding. Clearly I should not be here. I shall simply take my leave." Quaranir then walked away, while Ancano angrily followed him.
"What! You're not going anywhere until I find what you're up to!" Both then left the Arch-Mage's quarters.
"Ana, do you know what happened?" Ana shook her head.
"I've no idea. I think he drank too much." She replied. I chuckled, and Savos shifted his gaze at me.
"Go away amateur, you're dismissed." You know, I'm starting to get annoyed with his behavior.
"What's your problem? You act like a grumpy old man whenever I'm around." That stuck a nerve, because he immediately stood in front of me with his arms raised.
"Don't test my patience boy." I growled. Suddenly my mom stepped in, and she glared angrily at Savos.
"Listen Aren, I will not allow you to abreact your anger towards my son, or my husband. It's not their fault, especially not Saviik's! It was my choice and I'm happy with it!" She angrily grabbed my hand, while taking me away. Lydia and my Clannfear followed quietly. When we arrived at the Hall of Elements, I pulled myself loose from her grip. I spoke.
"All right, what is it with you and Savos? Why is he so hostile towards me?" Ana sighed.
"Before I met your father, I was a student at the College. He fell in love with me, and I liked him, sort of. But then, your father arrived there, looking depressed and heartbroken, as if he lost someone dear to his life. To me, it was love at first sight. I talked with him, tried to impress him. I even tried to create a love spell to use on him. The experiment failed miserably though." I laughed. My mom once told me about someone falling in love with her at the College, but I didn't realize it was the Arch-Mage himself.
"I was literally jumping in joy when I saw him smiling when we had one of our late night talks in the Frozen Hearth, and eventually, he fell in love with me too. Savos was heartbroken, but I can't live with someone I do not love. I feel sorry for him, but I'm content with Aquilius, you, and the rest of our household." She gave me a hug, and I noticed her shedding a tear. I hugged her back.
"You know, I hope I find someone who loves me, even when I'm depressed and heartbroken." She chuckled, before shaking her head.
"Speak to Tolfdir, he probably knows where the Augur is." She then looked behind me, at Lydia and my Clannfear.
"Lily, Razor, we're going to find your dad, Kaizen and Crusher. I already know where Rachna is, so I don't have to worry about her. I presume you'll help find the Augur with Saviik, Lydia?" Lydia shrugged, but nodded.
"Jep, we'll find this Augur." She has no idea about what happened haha. I saw my mom leaving with my Clannfear.
"Lydia, let's go find Tolfdir." She nodded and we quickly found Tolfdir, studying in the Hall of Attainment. When he noticed me, he immediately stood up.
"Tolfdir, have you ever heard of the Augur of Dunlain?" I asked.
"Well now, that's a name I haven't heard in quite some time. My goodness it's been years since I've spoken with him. I suppose he's still down in the Midden. If you go visit him, please say hello for me." He said with a smile.
"Where is the Midden?" I asked afterwards.
"Underneath the College. It's not the nicest place, so if you go there, do be careful." I nodded.
"Thank you Tolfdir. When I've found something important regarding the orb, I'll tell you." He nodded, while Lydia and I took our leave. When we were outside in the yard, I spoke.
"I saw a hatch in one of the corners. We should go through it." We walked towards the hatch and with a grunt, I pulled it open. We both stepped inside the Midden. It was a cold and dark place and immediately when we arrived in a small room with a stairs leading down, we got attacked by a Draugr. Lydia quickly bashed her shield in the Undead's throat, surprisingly chopping off his head. The Draugr fell down, not moving.
"Well, that certainly did the trick, but it was a little unusual." I chuckled, while moving further. After moving through a few corridors, we arrived in another room with a weird summoning altar place like thingy. There was a notebook which read 'Atronach Forge Manual', so I decided to scroll through it. It seemed you can summon Atronachs with different kinds of salts and gems. I put the book in my bag and continued on with Lydia. We moved further, opening a few doors. Lydia shivered from the cold. This place seemed to mostly consist of caves with ice and snow lying in it.
"Laas Yah Nir…" I whispered. I felt quite a lot of Auras, especially from Frostbite Spiders. Maybe Rachna's there? We then arrived one a natural stone bridge.
"Careful Lydia, there are a lot of enemies in here. Be on your guard." She nodded and just when I took one step on the bridge, an ice wraith attacked. I dodged, but I slipped on some ice. I gave a yelp and fell off the bridge. Luckily my armor protected me, because I bounced on a few rocks before falling down the ground.
"Saviik!" I heard Lydia yell. I then felt Ice Wraith remains falling on me.
"Don't worry Lydia! I'll find a way back up!" I could've used the Become ethereal Shout, so why haven't I used it? It saved me a bruise or two. I began to walk through the narrow corridors, while seeing an offering of a goat. Then I arrived in a small room with pillars all over, to support the ceiling I think. I saw lots of Frostbite Spiders approaching me, and I grabbed Dawnbreaker. Suddenly a very large Frostbite Spider bared its fangs, and the other Spiders backed away. I immediately noticed it was Rachna. I gulped. To be honest, I don't want to be smothered with affection right now.
"Rachna, I'm on a mission. I don't have time for games…" I said slowly, hoping the Spider would understand me. Of course she wouldn't listen. I felt globs of silk on my feet and she then pushed me down. Again, she wrapped her silk around me and she then walked with me towards a corner and I felt her legs wrapping around me. Is this what she does with my dad? I noticed the other Spiders also coming closer. Was it curiosity, or were they just thinking that I was an easy meal? Again, I used a fire spell to incinerate the silk but when I tried to get out, I felt Rachna's legs pulling me closer. I gave an irritated sigh.
"Rachna… I can't play right now. I need to find the Augur of Dunlain, who's going to help me and my mom." When I said the word 'mom', I noticed her letting go off me. Kinda weird was it. I stroked her head, making sure not to hit her eyes, otherwise she would use those fangs of hers to paralyze me. Those things are huge! As long as swords and even more dangerous. She then tried to push me down again, but I quickly stepped away.
"Sorry Rachna." I gave the Spider a sympathetic smile. I feel like a retard, talking towards a Frostbite Spider. Then again, she was my family's Frostbite Spider and as you may know, I have a weird family. I quickly moved back up, until I arrived in a room with a Daedric looking hand in the middle of it. Lydia was standing in front of a table, reading some sort of notebook, while holding a key in her hand.
"Saviik, this gauntlet is used for some kind of Daedric Summoning. Four rings are in kept in the Artaeum that must be placed on the gauntlet." She looked at me and I shook my head.
"No, we're not going to summon something. We're just going to find the Augur." She followed me deeper in the ruins, until we arrived in front of a locked door. Suddenly I heard a very deep voice speak.
"Your perseverance will only lead you to disappointment." All right, and what now? I decided to wait in front of the door.
"Still you persist? Very well, you may enter." The door suddenly opened, revealing a large ball of blue light, presumably the Augur. Lydia and I stepped inside, and I began to speak.
"So, I assume you are the Augur of Dunlain?" I asked.
"I am that which you have been seeking. Your efforts are in vain. It has already begun. But those who have sent you have not told you what they seek. What you seek." This sounds really strange.
"I was told to find you." I just said.
"Indeed. And so you have come looking, though you do not know why. Like others before you, you blindly follow the path to your own destruction. The Thalmor came seeking answers as well, unaware they will be his undoing. Your path now follows his, but you will arrive too late." Blindly follow my path towards my own destruction? Sounds like I'm into some real trouble, and he's not talking about Alduin.
"I already follow a path that might be my own doom. This one is just a prequel of what's in store for me." I replied. The Augur chuckled.
"I suppose that is true. But this is about something different." I nodded.
"With Thalmor, you mean Ancano?" I then asked.
"Indeed. He seeks information about the Eye, but what he will find shall be quite different. His path will cross yours in time, but first you must find that which you need. Your path differs from most. You are being guided, pushed towards something. It is a good path, one untraveled by many. It is a path that can save your College. I will tell you what you need to know to follow it further."
"What do I need?" I asked.
"You, and those aiding you, wish to know more about the Eye of Magnus. You wish to avoid the disaster of which you are not yet aware. To see through Magnus' Eye without being blinded, you require his staff. Events now spiral quickly towards the inevitable center, so you must act with haste. Take this knowledge to your Arch-Mage." I nodded.
"Thank you." Lydia and I then walked back towards the entrance. Speaking to the Arch-Mage again, that won't be fun.
….
Oblivion, one of the worst places for a mortal to be. The realms are in no way friendly towards mortals, especially the ones controlled by a few Princes. There was however one small realm, quite a curious little realm indeed. There was a massive palace in it, with one big table in the middle of the hall. It was the realm where all of the Daedric Princes had a meeting with each other. These meetings aren't particularly friendly, but even the Daedra have a code. When you are in this realm, there will be no blood spilling. No mere mortal has set foot on this realm. Not that they wanted to be here anyway. A portal suddenly opened, revealing the Mad God Sheogorath. Of course, he had two of his sidekicks with him.
"My lord, are you sure that you won't bring your staff with you?" Haskill, his chamberlain asked.
"If someone ever starts a fight, I'll just use Dervenin's intestines to smack them around. Wouldn't that be a beautiful sight? He deserves it, because he told me that this meeting was going to be held soon when I came back from vacation, and this is not soon!" Haskill just gave a bow, while Sheogorath grabbed another wedge of cheese from the back his so called 'luggage', named Dervenin, was carrying.
"But master, you wouldn't…" Dervenin muttered. Sheogorath ignored him, too busy with eating his cheese. He finally arrived at the meeting hall of the massive palace, that isn't even inhabited by someone.
"Ah my fellow Daedra, It's always a lovely sight to see you bickering with each other, while hiding your insecurities and weaknesses." All of the Daedric Princes and their servants looked at him.
"It would be most appreciated if you could be on time the next time we have this meeting." Hermeaus Mora said, while scrolling through a few books. He looked like an entity purely made of green tentacles and eyes. Sheogorath was always unnerved by the sight. He felt like he could go mad with just looking at him.
"Well, sit down fool, my Mistress hasn't got the time to deal with your antics right now." Sheogorath looked at a woman with long blond hair, a beautiful face and blue eyes. Her upper body was that of a human's, but her lower body was that of a very big Spider.
"How rude, stupid Spider woman!" Sheogorath shouted at the Mephala's personal guard, while plopping down on his chair, next to Sanguine and Clavicus Vile.
"I agree with Kiliana here, I have more important things to do right now." Mephala said, while playing with a few threads. She had long silver hair, tied in a ponytail. Her skin was a bit greyish, ;like that of a Dremora. Her ruby red eyes shone brightly, and she had a black and grey Daedric mail on, with a matching skirt. This was her preferred outfit, but you could sometimes see her walking in a long dress, showing a lot of cleavage. Her hair would be tied in a bun and she would have a black crown with a Spider emblem on her head. She can grow two more arms at will, but she only does that when she's going to fight.
"Like what? Raping your victims in Mephala's Web?" Molag Bal asked with a smirk. Molag Bal, Daedric Prince of Domination, looked like a hybrid of a bull and some sort of reptilian. He has powerful arms and legs, a very dangerous tail, demonic curved horns on his head and a very hideous face.
"Unlike you Molag, I have passionate sex with my victims." Mephala replied.
"And then you silently kill them, while smiling in joy at their screams of agony. We all know the story." Boethiah said, while absent-mindedly grinding his sword with a block of Ebony. He looked like a dark knight, fully clad in Daedric armor, with a red cape. Sometimes he had his helmet on, but this time you could see his long grey hair, glowing red eyes and sadistic smirk. Sometimes Boethiah turned into a female, but mostly he took on the appearance of a male.
"Then I do not have to mention that part. I thank you." Mephala smirked.
"This is just a waste of time!" Mehrunes Dagon roared angrily. "I've been sitting here, doing nothing but hearing you whining about what you do in your realm. I DON'T FUCKING CARE! The only thing I care about is ripping the head of a certain mortal off his body!" Mehrunes Dagon wasn't the most patient type. He looked like a red ogre with four arms, always ready for battle.
"And that certain someone is?" Mephala asked. "I can use my subordinates to issue a hunting party, but it won't be for free." Dagon growled at her.
"I want to kill him myself. That Saviik has been nothing but a pest to me." Quite a few of the Princes perked up at hearing that name.
"Saviik? Well now, that's a boy I really want for myself." Mephala said, while licking her lips. Some of the Princes glared at her, but she paid them no mind.
"So it seems I wasn't the only one having trouble with him. I eagerly await my chance to kill that fool. My followers are already gathering their forces. Harkon is quite useful." Molag Bal replied.
"So, you want to kill Saviik…" Mephala began. "You can kill him, but only when he wields my blade." Azura gave a calm sigh. She was a bit angry because she wasn't the only one who wanted Saviik.
"I don't think your Blade can acquire a Dragon soul." Azura said. Mephala looked at her, who looked like a woman purely made of the silver colored waters of Moonshadow.
"At least it's worth a try." Meridia was suspiciously hearing the conversation.
"Saviik is already mine. My sphere of influence suits him more. He's eager killing the Draugr that infest the dungeons of Skyrim." She said. Meridia looked like a beautiful woman with golden blond hair, shining crystal white eyes and golden white angel wings on her back. Azura and Mephala casted her fierce glares.
"The arguing is about to begin. Let's enjoy this moment with some cheese and a bottle of mead." Sanguine suggested to Sheogorath.
"A fine idea, really fine actually." Both filled their glasses with mead.
"Cheers for Saviik, knowing that we have the most influence on him." Sanguine said.
"We are the only ones who even met him in person! I still need to invite him to the Shivering Isles sometime." Immediately the two got eyed by the arguing Princes.
"You met him personally?" Mephala asked.
"Yes of course! I made him drunk and we did lots of funny things across Skyrim. He really has a high alcohol tolerance." Sanguine said thoughtfully. Mephala shifted her gaze at Sheogorath.
"And you?" Sheogorath swallowed the last bit of cheese before answering.
"I ordered him to treat the mind of Pelagius! He's a very good doctor!" It was silent for a bit.
"What? You never met him yourself? Oh of course, you were all too busy in waging war with each other! I have lots of ways to get to Tamriel. Very funny to annoy mortals." Sanguine said, taking another sip of his mead.
"Sanguine… Tell me how…" Mephala demanded.
"You honestly expect me to just tell you? Ha! You wish!" Sanguine laughed, fully enjoying the angry Mephala.
"I will slowly torture you to death if you don't tell me how…" Mephala growled, boiling with anger. Hermaeus Mora decided to interrupt.
"Calm down sis, I would like to help you in acquiring him. I have business with him myself." Mephala gave a surprised look.
"Alright, what do you want? Knowledge? A fuck with one of my slaves? You want me to kill some people?" She asked.
"I do not wish for those things. I only want him as my servant. Miraak has served his purpose, but rebellion is inevitable. However, I do not wish to kill him just yet. I want Saviik to fight Miraak to see if he's a worthy servant of mine." Mephala smirked.
"That's a fine deal with me." She replied.
"You fools, there will be no Saviik for you. Before you can even touch him, I have already slayed him. His soul will be bound to me, and forced to feel the everlasting torture in Heart's Grief." Molag Bal replied. Mehrunes Dagon angrily stood up. He punched one of his fists on the table, breaking the whole thing apart.
"Saviik will burn in the Deadlands! You weak and insolent retards will never lay a finger on him! I will kill him!" With a flash of fire, Mehrunes disappeared.
"The fool, he never thinks his actions through now does he?" Boethiah stated calmly.
"Unlike you, Boethiah," Molag Bal spat. "He managed to almost take over Tamriel, just like me." Molag Bal and Boethiah hated each other. Battles between the two of them were not uncommon.
"You lost against a mortal. That exactly tells you how weak you are." Molag Bal was boiling in anger. While they were arguing, Nocturnal spoke up.
"Sissy, why are you so interested in this mortal? I know that you help your followers, but liking a random mortal is just strange, even for you. He's not even a Dark Elf." She said, while examining her bow. She looked like a woman with black hair, tied in a ponytail. She had a black robe on, which made her invisible whenever she wanted to.
"If he became a Nightingale, you would understand." Azura replied. "He makes my heart throb with desire, even when he defies me." Nocturnal gave her a surprised look.
"Meh, if he isn't a thief, I've no interest in him." Nocturnal replied. It was silent for a while. None of the Princes spoke. Some of them were silent during the whole meeting, doing their own things. Finally Boethiah interrupted the silence.
"If there isn't anything worth telling here, then I just take my leave. I have a tournament to watch." With a flash , Boethiah left. One by one, the Princes went back towards their own realm of Oblivion. After a while, only Sheogorath and Sanguine remained.
"That poor little mortal, having to endure the grudges all these Daedra have against him. I should send a Narwhale to help him. What do you think?" Sheogorath asked. Sanguine shrugged.
"We should just go with the flow. I'm sure he can overcome any hardship." Sheogorath nodded.
"He just needs to eat a lot of cheese." Sanguine shook his head in disbelief.

-11th of the Second Seed, 4th Era 202-
Savos Aren was reluctant to help me, but he do told me to speak to Mirabelle. She told me about the Synod wanting the Staff of Magnus and that they were looking for a Dwemer ruin named Mzulft. I've no idea where that is, so right now my quest in helping the Psijics is stalled. Thus, I decided to head towards the Throat of the World for some training with Paarthurnax. Then I will head towards Whiterun to ask Kodlak what's going on. I left Lydia at the College, because that way, I can concentrate more easily on my training and not get distracted. After a climb of two hours, I finally arrived at the peak of the Monahven. There, Paarthurnax was waiting for me with a smile.
"Drem Yol Lok, greetings Dovahkiin." He said.
"Hello to you too Paarthurnax." I smiled, while beginning to sit in front of him.
"You have frahzogin , information, about the Kel?" Paarthurnax asked.
"Yes, it seems that the Elder Scroll is somewhere in Blackreach. The Tower of Mzark specifically. I need to get there, but I have other things to do right now." Paarthurnax nodded.
"Vrah, you seem to have problems with Magnus's Eye. Hi dreh emtiin tol rek mindok? Alduin knows." I should've expected this.
"Is she going to do something about it?" Suddenly I heard the flapping of wings behind me. I looked around, seeing Kunviinhil descending down the ground.
"She wants a challenge, but she doesn't meddle with artifacts from other Aedra. You are safe, for now." I smiled.
"I'm glad to see you Kun." I said. She nuzzled me, while giving me a lick.
"I'm glad you haven't got killed." She laughed. She then looked at Paarthurnax.
"Hi lost vuldak avok eruvos." She said.
"Ful drey hi." Paarthurnax replied. Kunviinhil looked back at me.
"I cannot offer you any help in defeating Alduin. She's my best friend after all. However, I can help you travel quickly from one place to another, if you desire to ride me." Somehow the way she said that made me kinda nervous.
"Why the seductive hint?" I asked, wary. Kunviinhil only smirked.
"That's just my voice." Bullshit. She's just trying to annoy me. I shook my head.
"If you want to flirt, flirt with your mate." Kunviinhil laughed.
"I do that more than you realize, and he doesn't reply so childishly as you." I sweatdropped, while she grinned. With a sigh, I turned to Paarthurnax.
"I'm ready. Teach me what you can." Paarthurnax nodded. I noticed that he looked really excited.
"Do others come here to train too?" I asked, while sitting in front of him again.
"I have taught the Way of the Voice for centuries, and the Thu'um since long before that. But no, Dovahkiin. Others do not come here to train anymore, saraan. You are the first in over a hundred years. I meditate on the Rotmulaag, the Words of Power. I counsel in their use. It is enough for me." Meditate on the Words of Power?
"You meditate on the Words? How?" I asked. I'm really eager to learn this.
"Knowing a Word of Power, is to take its meaning into yourself. Contemplate the meaning of a Rotmulaag. You will become closer to that Word, as it fills your inner self. I will teach you, Dovahkiin. There are four to master: Fus, Feim, Yol and Fo." I nodded.
"Let's start with Fus." I said.
"It is called 'Force' in your tongue. But as you push the world, so does the world push back. Think of the way Force will be applied effortlessly. Imagine but a whisper pushing aside all in its path. That is 'Fus'. Let its meaning fill you. Su'um ahrk morah. You will push the world harder, than it pushes back." Pushing the world harder than it pushes back, overcoming everything. I stood up, while looking at a giant rock in front of me.
"Pushing the world harder than it pushes back…" I closed my eyes, and Paarthurnax and Kunviinhil looked at me with anticipation.
"FUS RO DAH!" I roared. A giant shockwave erupted out of me mouth, easily pushing the boulder in the air. It fell down the mountain. It was vastly more powerful than I could ever imagine.
"Good, you've mastered one. I honestly thought you would struggle with this, but it seems the Dovah sos runs extremely strong in you." Kunviinhil smiled.
"I'm really surprised…" I muttered, while looking back at Paarthurnax.
"Now Feim." He nodded.
"'Fade' in your tongue. Mortals have greater affinity for this world than the Dov. Everything mortal fades away in time, but the spirit remains. Ponder the meaning of spirit. Unslaad zii. Where mortal flesh may wither and die, the spirit endures. That is 'Feim'. Let that meaning fill you. Su'um ahrk morah. You will find that your spirit will give you more strength." I walked towards the middle of the Monahven.
"The spirit endures everything…" I stood ready.
"FEIM ZII GRON!" I became ethereal once again, but this time it felt so much more different. It felt as if my body and spirit where bound to each other with an unbreakable string, ready to fuse together again when the Shout power dissipates. I felt like my body was able to heal faster this way. Finally the Shout power dissipated, and I stood there, refreshed.
"Well done Saviik, you're doing a great job." Kunviinhil smiled. I smiled back, before turning to Paarthurnax again.
"Now Yol." I said.
"In your tongue, the Word simply means 'Fire'. It is change given form. Power at its most primal. That is the true meaning of 'Yol'. Suleyk. Power. You have it, as do all Dov. But power is inert without action and choice. Think of this as the fire builds in your su'um, in your breath. Su'um ahrk morah. What will you burn? What will you spare?" So, you have to think about why you want to burn something. Yol gets fueled by action and choice.
"Here I go." I looked behind me and decided to Shout.
"YOL TOOR SHUL!" I felt my throat burning hot, while I released a powerful stream of fire. It wasn't just a barrage anymore. It was truly breathing fire!
"Finally!" I cheered. Paarthurnax and Kunviinhil chuckled, while I happily turned back towards the old one.
"Now the last one, Fo." I said.
"In your tongue, the Word means 'Frost'. Like Yol, it is power at its most primal. Some Dov have a greater affinity to Frost than Fire, but every Dov can master both. Feel the cold in your bones and remember why you use it to shorten the laas of your victims. Let the power of Winter fuel your desire to achieve something. Su'um ahrk morah. Not even the cold will stop you now." Achieve something using the cold, instead of fire.
"FO KRAH DIIN!" I did it! I can finally breath fire and frost like a normal Dovah!
"Paarthurnax, I thank you for this." I gave a slight bow.
"Use this knowledge to follow your destiny. I will be waiting for your return with the Kel." I nodded before turning to Kunviinhil.
"Could you please bring me to Whiterun. I need to get there right now." Kunviinhil nodded.
"Climb on my back, I will fly you there." Thus, I went towards Whiterun, while pondering about what Paarthurnax just told me.
….
Here's the next chapter of The Legend of Saviik. Saviik learns more about the Eye, you get to learn a bit about the Daedra, and Saviik has meditated on the words with Paarthurnax. In game, you easily get those abilities by just talking to old Paarthy, so I just decided to let Saviik learn this like a real Dovah! I hope you've enjoyed the chapter and have a nice day!
