"This is your last chance!" the head knight yelled. "Return to your cell now!"
"We'd rather not," Naruto replied.
"Yeah, we're not who you think we are," Lincoln asserted.
"What he said," Sonic agreed.
"Fine then," the head knight turned to his fellow knights. "Capture the F.F's minions!"
The knights charged at them, but were immediately knocked off their feet as a blue blur sped past them. Sonic landed on the stairway and watched the knights tumble down to the bottom. SpongeBob, Timmy and Lincoln were amazed by Sonic's speed but were then snapped out of it when the knights drew their swords and swung it at them, but instead of harming them, the swords harmlessly passed through them.
"That was close," Dani said before releasing her grip on the three.
"We probably can't talk our way out of this, can we?" Gohan asked aloud.
"I highly doubt it," Naruto replied. "These guys are in protective paranoid mode."
"Which means that there's only one thing to do," Dani declared as a green light enveloped her hands.
Dani fired two ghost rays at the knights, flinging them into different directions. SpongeBob then quickly pulled out his enhanced bubble soap, dipped his bubble wand in it and blew several giant bubbles to trap the knights. The knights tried to escape but their swords were not enough to overpower their spherical cages.
"Wow…" Naruto muttered as he watched the knights struggle to escape. "Never underestimate the power of bubbles."
"So… what do we do now?" asked Timmy.
"We gotta convince the king that we can help stop this F.F. guy," Naruto replied. "To the throne room!"
Naruto and the rest of his friends rushed towards the stairway and started to make their way up. They ran and ran, not stopping for anything… until they all, barring Sonic and Gohan, eventually collapsed from exhaustion.
"Why are there so many stairs?!" Naruto complained.
Meanwhile, King K walked around his throne room staring at a 24k gold pocket watch.
"It's about time," said King K.
He lowered his watch and, from the corner of his eye, noticed Naruto and his tired friends stumble into the room.
"You must be the prisoners I heard about," King K glared at them.
"Hold on a second…" Naruto gasped for air. "We need some more time…"
"You don't have any more time," the king declared as dark energy enveloped his hands. "I will not allow anyone to threaten my kingdom."
"Actually, we want to help," SpongeBob corrected.
"What?" the surprised king replied.
Before the king could reply any further, a giant hole was blown into the room. The force of the explosion threw everyone back and the king was immediately restrained by several red rings.
"What's going on?" Naruto wondered aloud.
The smoke in the room cleared, allowing everyone to catch a glimpse of the person responsible for the attack. It was young boy, wearing a white kitsune mask, a dark blue-grey robe with grey lining and a fur collar, and a tattered grey-blue cape emblazoned with an emblem depicting a mandala comprised of nine reddish-brown circles of varying sizes atop a larger green-grey circle.
"You're time has come, king…" the assailant said in a cold tone.
